@anangelamuse-castiel-spnfam told me to answer all the god/goddess questions so here goes nothing!
Anubis: How do you feel about death?
It depends on the situation. I’m not good at dealing with other people dying but I myself am not scared of it.
Atum: What are your greatest imperfections?
I’m a little too OCD sometimes to the point where I have a hard time leaving the house.
Bastet: Do you have any cats?
I wish but I can’t because people I live with are allergic.
Hathor: What brings you joy?
Music, Disney, glitter, dancing, being weird with my friends. It’s a very long list.
Horus: What is one thing you’ve had to fight for in your life?
I’m very lucky because I haven’t really had to fight for anything super major. And even the stuff I had to “fight” for was more just like me having to give a really convincing argument.
Osiris: Do you believe in the underworld?
Yes. And there’s a good chance I’m gunna wind up there some day.
Ra: Do you have any major responsibilities or importance?
*laughs* God no! And I like it that way!
Thoth: Do you like to read/write?
I did a lot when I was younger but lately I just haven’t had the focus or inspiration to sit down and write or read.
Arawn: What is the most terrifying thing you’ve ever done?
Several people I know think I’m a witch because weird things tend to happen around me like my evil 1st grade teacher dying after I put a “curse” on her for treating me like shit. For someone who was maybe 7 or 8 at the time that’s both impressive and terrifying!
Bran: How is your health?
Shockingly really good considering I spend almost all my time sitting on my ass watching movies and eating crap!
Brighid: Tell us about your relationship with your father.
With my birth father it’s really good because we basically have the exact same personality so we get along really well. With my adopted dad it’s ok but he gets on my nerves a lot and does it on purpose just to piss me off because he has the maturity of a 12 year old.
Cernunnos: What is your favorite animal?
I love cats! I mean I also love all animals pretty much equally but cats in particular!
Danu: What is your relationship with your mother?
My adopted mom is like one of my best friends but my birth mom is an evil manipulative psycho bitch who’s basically dead to me.
Morrigan: What do you think happens when we die?
kind of a cross between purgatory and reincarnation where part of us moves on and becomes a new person but the main part of us that makes us who we are stays behind as a ghost.
Olwen: What is your favorite flower?
I actually hate flowers because the smell gives me headaches and makes me nauseous.
Rhiannon: Have you ever been betrayed?
Multiple times by multiple people in some really horrible ways (like the ex who cheated on me with my own sister then dumped me because I wouldn’t go down on him but she would).
Bragi: What kind of music do you listen to?
Pretty much everything but mostly rock and alternative. As I’m typing this question I’m listening to Iron Man by Black Sabbath from this spotify playlist https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2fhB2uO04lD24DZBMEOb8S?si=pd6oDln_RM2bUTTPe94R6Q
Freya: Have you ever been in love?
I currently am in love and I’ve been in love in the past. Lets hope this time it ends up working out better for me than last time!
Freyr: Do you have any children?
No. And I don’t want any.
Hœnir: Are you a silent or talkative person?
It depends on who I’m with. With some people I don’t say a word but with others I never shut up.
Iounn: How old are you?
24 going on 25 in November.
Loki: What is the best trick you’ve ever pulled on someone?
I actually don’t pull tricks or play pranks.
Odin: What is your family like?
Complicated. I was adopted and have a very large adopted family (most of whom I don’t speak to anymore for one reason or another but mostly bigotry) and I also consider my birth dad's side of my birth family to be part of my family but have no contact with my birth mom’s side.
Thor: Would you consider yourself pretty powerful?
I would hope so. Or else all the ghosts I’ve pissed off are going to come after me when they realize I’m defenseless!
Tree: What have you done with your life? What are you going to do with it?
So far I’ve done nothing but drop out of college and almost wind up hospitalized for anxiety related stuff. But hopefully in the near future I’ll be doing something in the entertainment industry.
Aphrodite: What do you think of yourself?
I love myself and I’m really proud of the person I’ve become.
Ares: Are you an easy person to anger?
It depends on the situation. Most of the time no. But if you’re a close-minded bigot I will unleash hell.
Athena: Would you consider yourself an artist?
I should hope so considering I went to art school and want to do something in a creative field!
Apollo: Do you play any instruments?
I used to take guitar lessons but I sucked. Now I just sing because it’s way easier!
Dionysus: Do you drink?
Regularly!
Hades: Do you have a bad reputation?
It depends on who you talk to. With most people they only every have the nicest things to say about me but with certain people who know who they are they won’t even talk about me.
Hekate: Have you ever tried to communicate with the dead?
I have tried and succeeded and do it fairly regularly.
Hermes: Have you ever stolen anything?
When I was like 3 or 4 I stole a tube of lip gloss that was like $3.
Poseidon: Are you a moody person?
It depends on a lot of factors. I try not to be but some things just send me over the edge.
Zeus: Are you a confident person?
Some may say a little too confident. But I love my body and i love who I am and it shows and if you can’t handle that then that’s your problem and not mine.
Jupiter: Would people say that you are intimidating or fairly approachable?
For the most part I’m intimidating (I’m over 6′ tall with vibrant dark red hair and usually dressed in all black because goth). But I try to be somewhat approachable to an extent.
Pluto: Where do you think we go when we die? I kind of touched on this in a previous question where part of us moves on to another life and part of us stays behind as a ghost.
Apollo & Dianna: Do you prefer to be up during the day or at night?
I’m pretty much nocturnal at this point.
Mars: Have you ever gotten into a fight?
Multiple times. And I always win!
Minerva: Do you generally give good advice?
I’d like to think so because a lot of people ask me for advice and they wouldn’t keep doing it if I gave bad advice.
Proserpine: Have you ever felt trapped?
Multiple times. And it gives me anxiety just thinking about it!
Plutus: Do you have a job?
Not at the moment.
Venus: Have you ever had your heart broken?
Too many times for my liking.
Vesta: Do you like being home or do you try to get out whenever you can?
I’m a home body. I love chilling on my bed in my jammies!
Morpheus: Do you daydream often? Of what?
I’m in a pretty much permanent state of daydreaming and the subject of them is constantly changing!

Witch Au Fic Rec
The Sweetest Incantation 40k
Harry has been alive for decades, and yet he’s never been as confused and dumbfounded. He’s a witch, for God’s sake. Can’t get much weirder than all the magical things he’s experienced throughout his lifetime. Never in a million years, however, would he have expected to be mere inches away from a hybrid.
Or: Harry is a witch who’s still working on developing his powers and Louis is a werecat who falls into his life and turns it upside down.
love is divine 25k
Being a witch doesn’t help when it comes to unrequited love.
you’ve got this spell on me (everything you do is magic) ˜3k
Harry accidentally turns Louis into a cat. He doesn’t know how he’s going to fix it, but he does know he’d better do so before he has to deal with Louis’s wrath.
come on, jump out at me 7k
(first one of the domestic monsters series)
Harry is a witch from a long line of power, an ancient line that’s one of the strongest left alive in their hemisphere. He can cast spells without a word if need be, fly on a broomstick, and has a black cat (a kitten, really) named Felix that is his animal familiar. He can shape galaxies in his cupped hands and can destroy them just as easily. He can choose exactly how to use his power, for encouragement and support, or for more nefarious causes if he wishes to.
And as fate would have it, he’s scared of haunted houses.
(Harry is a witch who carries around a stuffed pumpkin, Louis is a vampire with too much time on his hands, and their best mates Zayn & Niall aren’t exactly what they seem…)
wherever you are is the place i belong 10k
(second one of the domestic monsters series)
So a witch, a vampire, a werewolf, and a siren all move into a house together… It’s not a joke, it’s Harry Styles’ life, but sometimes it feels that way.
(Niall and Zayn get jobs, Harry cleans out his feelings, and Louis learns some very interesting things about one of his new flatmates…)
spaces between us hold all our secrets ˜20k
(third one of the domestic monsters series)
The house in Greater Gloomingshire just gets stranger and stranger: Mysterious comings and goings, sneaky glances, and secrets that nobody seems willing to share. Yet.
(Zayn threatens Louis with bodily harm, Niall wolfs out, and when it comes to investigating his flatmates, Detective Harry is on the case!)
i wanna reach out for you (i wanna break these walls) 31k
(fourth one of the domestic monsters series)
The wolf’s out of the bag, the witch is out of the broom closet, the siren’s out of the ocean, and the vampire’s out of the…coffin? Everybody knows about everybody now, but it’s not always so easy, rooming with the supernatural.
(the household shifts and changes, Detective Harry is on the case again, and Louis has to come to terms with who he wants to be.)
if i didn’t have you, i’d never see the sun 16k
(fifth one of the domestic monsters series)
Everything changes when you have a roommate who doesn’t Get It.
(Liam has trouble with inanimate objects, Harry blows things up, Niall is a brat, and Louis finally talks about his life B.V. - Before Vampirism.)
you will find me in places that we’ve never been 12k
(sixth one of the domestic monsters series)
1313 Willow Wisp Lane has seen many things over the course of its long life as a house, but never has it seen a surprise party consisting of an undead king, a witch who can conjure sunlight, a werewolf who doubles as a pastry chef, and a mystery.
(Louis reveals more about his past, Harry makes it rain, Niall makes food, and everyone wonders about Liam.)
i’ll make this feel like home 42k
(seventh one of the domestic monsters series)
It’s St. Patrick’s Day at the house in Greater Gloomingshire….in September.
(Liam’s “secret” is revealed, Zayn returns, Niall eats some cupcakes, while Harry and Louis both have to face the past - and the future.)
when the wolves come out 62k
(eighth one of the domestic monsters series)
Halloween is swiftly approaching; now, if only they could enjoy it.
(Gemma comes to visit, the crows may or may not be spies, and a spirit is laid to rest.)
we will find a way through the dark 31k (wip)
(ninth one of the domestic monsters series)
Louis is tired of running and Harry’s got his back.
(Harry sort-of exorcises a ghost, a Mustang is destroyed, and Louis discovers travel by mirror is not at all what it’s cracked up to be.
Far Afield 11k
(part 1)
Harry Styles is a witch who owns the best flower shop in Manchester. Lottie Tomlinson is planning her wedding, and brings her brother along to her first appointment. Both men have been having a bad day and sparks fly.
Suited for You 4k
(part 2)
“Louis Tomlinson, you have had that suit for almost ten years. It is time to get a new one, and it is time to get a good one.” Unfortunately, he could tell his mother wouldn’t budge. The discussion was over. They said goodbye, and Louis immediately dialed his sister Lottie.
She picked up straight away, “You have to get the suit, Lou.”
“Argh!” Louis yelled, hanging up on her. He missed his old flip phone, hanging up on someone was so much more satisfying.
Louis’ family convinces him that he needs a new suit for some upcoming special events in his life.
It’s All Been Done (Before) 17k
Lilo
Zayn isn’t normal for two reasons. One, he’s a warlock. Two, he’s Crown Prince of said warlocks. Witches too, actually. Not Wizards though. Those imbeciles give magic a bad name. Especially the one named Liam. He’s particularly awful. It’s too bad that they end up falling in love.
Through centuries of war, revolution, art and innovation; Zayn tries to stay away from Liam, until he can’t
Bewitched 160k
“So what’s your problem, mister?”
“I’m married to a witch.” says Louis, disbelievingly, shaking his head slightly, swirling the ice around in his shot glass. “My spouse is a witch.”
“Cheer up.“ says the Bartender "You should see my wife.”
Louis doubts that his wife is a real spell-casting, cloak-wearing, cauldron stirring, witch, like his new husband, Harry.
But, Louis suspects that nothing could surprise him anymore. Not Harry’s magical friends, not his literally disappearing sister or even the way that Harry’s able to clean a kitchen in 2 seconds.
Louis had always thought that Harry was charming, he just didn’t know how much.
Adaption of the hysterical and wonderful 1960’s tv show, starring, of course, 1D; each chapter is self contained within the universe.
Spellbound 62k (wip)
Louis Tomlinson leads a charmed life. Not because of his good job, nice house or the fact that he’s happily married; despite all those things being true.
No, Louis lives a charmed life because of the fact that his best friends, in laws and (perfect) husband all happen to be magical beings.
And just as he’s getting used to things like his sister in law literally popping in unannounced, or watching his husband turn people into animals, a new bundle of joy arrives and throws a wrench into the works.
But, you know what? Louis wouldn’t have it any other way.
Sequel to Bewitched
a long way down (to the bottom of the river) 24k
“ Most people would call Harry silly for believing in curses. Childish would also be a probable insult thrown his way. In their little town full of little people, Harry’s whimsical nature and beliefs mean that he’s subjected to frequent judgemental looks and whispers. It doesn’t usually bother him. Most people don’t know about the magic thrumming through his veins or about how powerful words can truly be. Most people don’t carry around their ancestors grief like a burden. They don’t have to pay for deeds hundreds of years old like Harry and his family have. They get to love freely without fear.
Harry and his kin aren’t so lucky.”
a practical magic au in which Harry and his sister accidentally kill her abusive boyfriend with magic and Louis is the D.I working the case.
wash him deep where the tides are turning 3k
"When Harry finally tells Louis about his family’s curse and the true love spell that broke it, they’ve been dating for seven months, nineteen days and about twelve hours and Louis’ cock is buried deep inside his arse.”
Part two of a practical magic au.
taken by the wind 8k
When he decided to move to London with his sister, Harry thought he would finally get to learn how to control his magic. He couldn’t possibly have predicted that he would fall for her neighbour.
Or the one where Harry is a clumsy witch and Louis is making everything worse just by existing.
baby, we could be enough 3k
ot5
A few weeks later, they’ve finally begun to settle in, and it’s time for Liam’s first in-home transformation.
He’s dreading it.
Keep Me In Your Pocket 3k
Louis has been living in a teapot since he was miniaturised by a witch, but Harry is determined to break the curse.
take a sip from my secret potion (falling in love) 6k
After running away to Pendle, Louis is being haunted by some angry spirits, and so he seeks solace in Worst Witch Harry Styles. Louis is looking for a potion to fix his problems, but the answer may be a bit simpler than that.
Nocturnal Creatures Are Not So Prudent 24k
Witch!Louis
Louis spins a finger in midair, like he’s indicating someone to turn around, staring pointedly at Liam as the faucet turns itself on and the can rinses itself in the sink behind him. Liam, moon burn him, doesn’t rise to the bait, choosing instead to lean back on his stool and wrapping his hands around his own mug.
“Anyway, like I was saying and that you were ignoring, there’s this new club near my school and I want you to go with me. Could do you some good, getting out once in awhile.”
Louis is a white witch with a little black cat named Hemlock and a best human friend Liam (they’re a lot like Samantha Stephens and Louise Tate). When he’s dragged out to a new club Liam’s heard about from a friend and classmate, Louis comes face to face with that which witches do not touch: a charming vampire by the name of Harry.
Everything You Do Is Magic 5k
October is a month of magic. Most carry on with their lives thinking that leaves change color from science and that the pumpkins no one has seen growing all year actually came from the ground. But others know the truth. That some possess the power to create life and take it away. Harry was one of those people.
(or the one where Harry and Zayn are witches, Liam and Louis are new in town, Niall may or may not be magic, and Harry thinks nothings better than the feeling of magic, till something is)
Try Refusing A Million Times (But You’re in Love) 16k
Harry’s a witch selling tea and sweets in The Umbrella, a shop he and his best mate Niall have just opened. But on ‘Official Opening Day’ he runs into Louis, and there the chaos ensues when Harry’s magic trickles into Louis. With Niall and Zayn at his side, it’s a regular quest for love: either Harry gets his magic back from the forbidden Louis whose dating Liam, or he performs a dark ritual on himself to save himself from Louis’ madness that he most certainly will not survive

Things to do with kids in any part of the world
Things to do with your kids in any part of the world: USA, Europe & Beyond
No matter where you are in the world, you don’t need a lot of money or extravagant things to make children happy and have fun. I’m a pure example of this. Here are some ideas to get your juices flowing:
Build a tent
Seriously, who buys those pop-up store tents anymore? (I’m not judging, I used to own them lol) When you have a small living space or live out of a suitcase like us, you have the luxury of having All. The. Things. amiright?
So, trust me, kids will much rather build their own tent with extra bedsheets, pillowcases, fabrics and chairs of all sorts.
Have bunk beds? Ohhh those are the best and bring back so many memories! #hello
Make cookies
(at least in my household) kids want IN on whatever you’re doing. Haha, My youngest child will harass my life to ‘help cook’ until I say yes. Obviously, I should be sterner and not give in (what the heck am I teaching her by giving in right? I know. moving on) but in this case, I adore the cuteness of a teeny tiny human with a cupcake for a face, trouting along to beg me to cook. How can I resist? So I now schedule time for the girls to cook. And what’s more fun than mixing, tasting and squishing!
Arts and crafts
This is my inner creative alter ego wanting to pry itself out. I LOVE arts and crafts (don’t be fooled, I’m by no means crafty or good haha) I enjoy it, and I promise if you let go of perfectionism you will too. Honestly, you don’t even need ‘a plan.’ Go to your craft store, i.e., any dollar store, and stock up on anything even remotely crafty, even if you think you won’t use it. Head straight to the stationary section, then head to the home/garden isle, after the tool and auto isle (you need something reasonable to hold all this crap, food aisle (for cheap dry goods. think beans, rice, and oats) and finally the kitchen isle for plastic cups, foil, etc. and those paper plates you’ll need for those maracas.
Make playdough
Why on Gods green earth is playdough SO DAMN EXPENSIVE???!!! Okay, I’m sorry for yelling. #Imdone. I’ve never purchased playdough for the girls because we afford it and when we could, why the heck would I pay that much anyway? And for the bargain shopper mamas reading this before you go on to tell me I can buy them in bulk, on sale, from said dollar store…I wrote above- here are my thoughts: my kids must be one a kind because these boogers go on to ‘make’ me food creations of all types and mix the playdough in all kinds of ways to make colors I didn’t even know existed. (and I’ve tried those cheaper ones and my goodness- NO THANKS) Kids enjoy cooking (see note above) and making messes, it’s a win-win. Plus it’s super easy, all types of recipes available online. So no excuses. (and no it doesn’t take that long. #aintnobodygottimeforthat
Have a Treasure Hunt
This is sooo fun. Honestly, it doesn’t need to be, and it gives you time to just sit down. Ah. You can hide anything from candy, new pencils, notes, etc. (Think the birthday section at a said dollar store) Play dress up we only have girls, and it goes without saying that they enjoy dressing up. (see toy section of any dollar store. do you see a pattern here lol) But I can only guess that boys would enjoy dressing up as well as it is a great pretend/imaginative play. Make pizza Let me start off by saying that if you don’t like pizza, I don’t know we can be friends. Ok just kidding maybe lol I don’t think I’ve ever met a kid but doesn’t like pizza and this is indeed such a versatile and cheap thing to make that there isn’t any excuse for you not to make it and it’s a lot of fun. I grew up pretty poor, and pizza for us consisted of a slice of white wonder bread cheap no-frills pasta sauce and a slice of what was supposed to be cheese. Then we popped it in the oven for a few minutes watching it until the cheese got ever so slightly burned and dug in. Do everyone in your family a favor and make the dough from scratch is pretty simple or you can just buy it one from the store it’s still a lot of fun!
Fly a kite (create a kite)
So self-explanatory and kids love it so go get one and get to your local park already if you don’t have a kite , crafts to the rescue! It is super easy to make, and they work!
Stargaze
This is one of my favorite pastimes, so I feel kind of selfish writing it but our kids loved it, and I think it’s because we are both from big cities in you don’t see stars are often and when you think it’s the one you realize that it’s just a helicopter. Enjoy the little things
Listen to books
Another guilty pleasure here but I’ve posted this love answer my children, and it’s always a good time. There are a few ways you can do this if you’re looking for free options the best way is to download the Overdrive or Libby app and entering your details and library card details, and you get to listen to audiobooks for free. If finances are no burden for you then audible is such an excellent option, and they have pretty much anything you could look for. Except The gruffalo…they don’t have that anymore because Julia Donaldson wants to do stick to print books…ok I digress. Haha. Another more affordable option is the Scribd app. it’s pretty amazing because you pay a small fee of about 5 to 8 books of month, and you get to listen to an unlimited amount books the downside is that you don’t keep it, so it’s kind of like a music subscription you get all the music you want while you’re paying subscriber otherwise you lose all your stuff.
  Read books
Same advice as above^
Make a play
Piggybacking off of the dress up here….our girls could do this all day long. Like seriously. They have. They do.
Keep all and any extra boxes you can get your hands on… The bigger, the better. (Invest in a good x-acto knife) < you’ll need this for the never-ending requests to make doors, windows and “secret exits.”
Build a snowman
If you’re in a climate where it permits this, don’t let the beauty of snow pass by because it’s bitterly cold. Trust me. I understand the struggle. But at the end of the day, it doesn’t last and the memories will.
Park
Does this really need a caption?
Train or bus ride
So, it doesn’t matter if you’re in NYC, London, Paris, or your tiny small town that’s barely making Google maps…if there are buses or trains, use em. Kids love this stuff.
Free workshops
Don’t underestimate your local library. They always have fantastic free workshops going on where all the is required is a simple registration.
Farmers market
This is such a great way to immerse yourself where you are. If you’re traveling like us, this allows you to see and meet new people. Engage in the culture and get fresh produce, food, and knick-knacks.
Make musical instruments
Here I am with the craft stuff again! If you’re like us and travel like it’s your second job, then this is a good one. Music is good for the spirit, and you wouldn’t believe how easy it is to use common household things to make instruments out of.
Have a parade
When you’re done making said instruments^ Be super silly and have a parade! Storm and stomp around the house and have fun. (Be mindful of the hour of course if you live above anyone)
Bubble bath
I can’t quite remember, but there was a time/age where our girls didn’t always get along so well. And the only time where there was a sense of peace was when they were taking baths. Seriously, don’t underestimate the power of simple water, soap and “toys” (I wrote that in quotes because I despise bath toys and much prefer temporary toys like plastic water bottles, used up lemon juice containers, etc)
Birdwatch
Children do mimic what they see. Obviously, this can be a good and bad thing. In this case, it’s alright. Many times throughout the day you can find me lost in thought #heyfellowinfj and wait for it: bird or human watching
The girls love seeing birds up close and analyzing their attributes. Have your kiddos try this!
Make confetti
Kids love to make messes so let them! Grab any old magazines, newspapers, leaflets, flyers, and pieces of scrap paper you no longer need and cut them up. You can simply put them through the shredder (this adds to the fun, but obviously watch out for those little fingers and blades) or cut shapes snowflakes, etc. Then toss them in the air and roll around in it and have a confetti party!
Outdoor sport
One of the joys of many sports is that you can travel with said instruments. Any game that involves a ball can fit in your luggage once deflated. Cricket is super lightweight, and the ball is small. Frisbee is a fantastic choice. It can get tricky with tennis as rackets tend to be heavy and bulky. (But relatively cheap to purchase)
Sidewalk drawing
Chalk is typically cheap anywhere you go and works on almost any sidewalk/balcony! If you have a private area you’re using, bring out the hose, a bucket or a bowl of water to wash away the drawings and begin fresh the next day.
Garden
Nature freedom!
Go to a museum, café, library or bookstore.
To find free museums, type “free museum, city” into your browser of choice….Same with the others.
Fire station
This may differ wherever you go, but in the US, most firefighters are happy to speak to children when they drop by to have a look but do call first to verify! (To avoid disappointment) We’ve never had an issue, but you never know.
Sing & dance
So I almost felt a bit hypocritical writing this one because I loathe doing both in public. Yes, even in front of my own family haha! But, I assure you, if you’re the same way, take it slow and do it scared! You’ll be glad you did. The easiest thing to do is go to YouTube and find some kid dance channels (maybe search for kid choreography) and let the magic happen. We also use a Toca Boca dance app!
Learn a language
After a certain amount of time traveling (it’s been years for us) your kiddos will grow to love languages. Naturally, as humans, especially little humans, we love communicating. And there’s no better way than completely immersing yourself into another one’s culture: language and all.
I realize this specifies toddlers in the heading. However, these activities can be easily adapted and enjoyed by older children as well. My kiddos are in the 10 and under range (as an example.)
What do you do for family fun? Tell me below!

Sofia
Sofia is one of my friends. A special friend, to be more specific. Sofia is talented in all ways that a girl could be talented, and that is one of the many reasons why i adore her a lot. There are many reasons to be taken into account, but i’m not going to work on a list. i’m going to unveil a glut of secrets. on her. on us. I met Sofia for the 1st time at the 1st day of high school - that’s how the theory works. And everyone, including us, thought so as well.  Surprisingly, in fact, i knew about S a long time ago, maybe a year or two ago back in the past. She was my friends’ friend. She was Light’s friend. They had extra classes together. Of course, it means my 1st impression about her was noted long before grade 10. She was cute, pretty, famous at some points, good at many things, and being in a different world. From me, i thought. I knew she was damn good at English at that time, and i was not so amazed. However, i didn’t like her. At all. The thing is, have i ever liked people? That’s just what i do : not liking everyone, instead of befriending with them. Well, typical me, can’t blame S. I knew about Sofia a lot in the past. You might be surprised, Sof, but i know quite a lot don’t i? I know about people, including you. I visited Sofia ask page, at a time when everyone used it, and i was not an exception. I asked her nothing, but i saw other questions. I saw her being picked on a lot for being richer than others, and i saw her bravely battle against all those shits.  Oh, that’s surely what someone like her does. This girl is kinda pretty, cool and rich. Oh and also a shoes lover.  Ehh, she’s in a different world - not a world for me, a lowkey dreamer. That’s my 1st impression, but lord, first things always suck, don’t they? On to grade 10, i had a chance to meet Sofia in person. Not so different from her pics some years ago, but this girl, with another kind of 1st impression IN PERSON, amazed me. Sofia, in my experience, was super energetic. That kind of positive vibes she spread to others had been so inspiring, even to a gloomy person like me. Well, but that’s just it. She’s smart, inspiring, and i do respect her. But still, different worlds, i thought. I’ve never plan to meet this girl, and i would never plan to know her - we’re like passengers on a train, without any connection. The truth is, i view S as an angel, a real angel from above. She is joyful, sociable and full of mirth. That kind of girl who attracts everyone. That kind of girl others get jealous with. But i’m happy for her as she can be forever that way. I mean, be coated with happiness - which i can never be. But angels fall, that’s the theory. Theories, in fact, always seem to be precise. Sofia may have fallen, as i saw her standing with tears streaming down and sobbings sounded dramatically. At that moment, i questioned myself : what could possibly go wrong with this girl? Isn’t she an indestructible heaven caretaker? Isn’t she a mirthful creature?  I felt really bad, to be honest, that day.  Sofia is Sofia, and the name indicates she is a human being. Period. And she does get upset. Period. Suddenly, my imagination got back to real life, and i wondered if there were anything called “joy” ? Welp, Sofia is nice in several ways a human being could be nice, then. She is talkative, and somehow humorous. But i don’t get it when she couldn’t talk much to me. People always talk to me, and i’m forever an automatic listener. But Sofia doesn’t. Why is it? Did my anxiety and depression and self-conscious flood you? Or maybe, just maybe, i’m separated from others, huh? Sofia is Sofia because of various reasons. I’m not going to blurt out secrets, but the name i give her is somewhat shiny and blazing, like herself. It sounds a bit happy, and a bit innocent - like how i view her. Don’t grin here, S, but i’ve got my stories without any main characters, and you’re one of the effects of it. The lightning effect, to be more specific. But that’s another story, and i’m focusing on Sofia here, on the secrets she is yet to know. I have always convinced myself that Sofia and i are completely different. We don’t understand each other, we don’t match, we don’t do things the other does, and we, obviously, will be forgotten by the other. Everything lasts, i tell myself. But once again, Sofia surprised me, in the strangest way.  We both read books. Yes, we both treasure them. We are writers. Yes, i’ve got my stories and she’s got hers. We don’t cry, my lord, we bleed through papers. We want things. We crave for beauty, in words, in life. How wonderful it could be. I used to think that Sofia doesn’t understand me, and i don’t understand her, in return. How can we try to put ourselves in others’ shoes and understand their stories? How can we if we are seperate creatures? How can we love others, how can we rely on them if we know nothing about their inner parts?  How? After all, i found myself overthink just about ...everything. But that doesn’t matter, as it brings me a lot. I’ve got my own imaginativeness - and somehow it does me good. But, i’m pulling myself all together now, because i learnt a lot from Sofia. I learned that we don’t need to understand people, we need to love them, right? We need to throw away flowers, instead of rocks, instead of pins. We need to spread love, and make others happy, even if we wind up being ridiculous. We have to do what Sofia did. Because that’s how we are. Humans are a social species. We rely on connections to survive. But we are the ones who decide if those connections are good or bad, if they’re full of lies or true to your bones, if they’re sour and bitter or sweet and humane, if they’re going to make you dance on your bare feet or kill yourself. That, indeed, is a big matter to be concerned about. If you want to know, Sofia, i am differed from you in many aspects. Let’s say we’re both writers, and we love the art of mastering feelings all the same, but YOU should be considered as the better ME. The happier and more active ME, to say the least. You’ve got your hopes up, and your CONNECTIONS are in the good side, the side of truth, sweet, humane, the side of “making you dance on your bare feet”. I don’t have that kind of feelings. Precisely, i lack them. My connections to others are all lies, and i even lie to myself. I can smile at 1 and cry at 1.01. I am miserable, insecure, depressed and oppressed. Believe me, you are not hearing any exaggerations here, and i am just what i am. I am afraid to feel happy, Sofia, i am so afraid of it. Anytime i get too happy, something jumps right in the middle and cut me to the core. I am anxious all the time, and i am not good at speaking to others. I am too scared. Well, don’t be amazed, but i’m scared of getting things wrong. I am scared of making mistakes, i want things to be as good as they can be. I am scared of meeting others, of interacting. I am safe, i think, in my own world. But the funny thing is, i can never be in a so-called ‘my own world’. So i got to make it right, i’ve got conceal my fears.  I have to write them all out, so my fears would be on the page and off my head. I feel better somehow, and that’s when i crave for more writings. To feel better, to picture myself as a happy girl, on pages. Depression is different from sadness at some points, people say. When you’re sad, you know the reasons. That said, you have no clue why when you’re depressed. Maybe it’s just the bad weather. Maybe it’s just you. Maybe it’s just me. People are happy because they’re happy, i’m sad because i know my happiness will last.  Jesus, my life’s rough right. But i’ll stop my overthinking routine soon because Sofia, you are one who’s got faith in me, you’re the one who healed just about every shits i’ve been into lately. Because of your book, because of your notes. For the 1st time in a long time, someone kept their promise. Sorry but i don’t think you would give me a book, to be honest. People forget, that’s the theory. People don’t understand, but wait, they can love, and love can heal everything, even misunderstandings. Thanks, girl. For giving me faith in this world, and a relief to my soul. I hope you could be just the same, S, just as how you are now, as happy as you are now, because not everyone can be shiny like that just so you know. I was surprised, so so surprised back to when our teacher was having a meeting with our parents. My mom, incidently, sat next to Sofia’s mom, and they started to chat about us. I told my mom a lot about her, as one of my friends (who is good at English). Typical me. Caring about others’ brains more than their identities. And yes, tell me i’m ridiculous, but Sofia’s brain functions better than many others. But, Sofia didn’t tell her mom just about me. She told her mom that she admired me, that my writings were flawless, that she really liked me in the way that i could be, that she loved the fact that we both write and have our private blogs, but my skills were better than her. She was full of mirth talking about that, as i imagined, like her being full of mirth talking about every single thing. I don’t have skills, Sof. I have my sadness, and i write to let it out of me. Surprised? Sometimes i’m jealous with you you know. How can you lower yourself down so easily? How can you give compliments and love so easily? How can you be that positive and full of belief in this mad world? How can your feelings be that intact over the times? How?  I questioned, and got my answers myself. Let it be. Let things be. Let go, of hatred.  The last secret : i really appreciate you for remembering all my shits. you know, people often forget. i say ‘yes’ all the time, but i don’t expect you to keep your words. i don’t expect you to bring me the book, or write notes in it. neither do i believe you will keep me in your memory. devils are inherent, and angels fly away after lingering for a while, just a while - another precise theory, i thought. But i wasn’t so convinced to theories anymore, and i’m trying my best to become something better - a better me, with beautiful and florid writings, as self-reflecting works, not as ways to escape the world.  Still me, but better. I’m finishing the book by this weekend. Love,  me
