After a very productive morning with my mother, we are around 80% through sewing on the embroidery (Deacon also helped a lot). Hopefully the dress will be totally done by the end of next weekend!
I really want to make Lucy Gray’s outfit (specifically from the movie). I want it to be an outfit for practicality-that I could wear weekly or monthly or something, but I don’t know how to sew something to last like that. Does anyone have any tips? Her dress:

Each unique in texture, patterns,and fabric.
I wanted to make a dress out of this fabric for Halloween and I noticed a lot of places were running low. So I thought I would start my Halloween crafting early and ordered it's as I found a place it was on clearance.
I started last night after work and planned to get the basics done ready to sew at the weekend. But before I knew it, I had made the whole thing! 🤦🏼♀️😹

I got a cotton tablecloth in Siena and made it into a sommerdress and a matching handbag :) just love this lemon pattern and everytime i put this outfit on i feel like summer in italy 🍋💗 I alterd the bust on the dress after this pic so it got a tighter fit
