There are all my drawings for “I Draw Disney” art marathon on VK.

It was my first time to participate in such event, and it proved to be quite fun, coming up with ideas for each assignment, following chosen main theme, and trying to not repeat sources and characters, so I had to turn on creativity to finish the challenge.

I have had a few unused ideas up my sleeve, so I may bring them to paper sometime too.

Last work for art marathon.

The theme is “Couples”. This includes any kind of pairings, but I did tentatively assume it’s gonna be specifically romantic couples, so I went with my decided choice. I already drew my favorite couple last week, so decided to dig deeper and turn to Pixar. Parent couples are often overlooked in benefit of young lovers in the focus of story, but amongst them are some interesting pairs with noticable stories of their own.

I imagined young Ming and Jin - parents of Mei Lee, heroine of “Turning Red” - as Fa Mulan and Li Shang. Jin is pretty far from image of “great military commander”, but there’s some humor in it:)
