Basically, my philosophy around disability fakers is: I would rather a thousand people fake a disability than have one disabled person suffer without care, aids, compassion, or any help.

#disability #disability advocacy #and there's a difference not many people seem to recognize between faking and realizing you don't have [x] problem... #...such as realizing you don't have [x] disorder because it is instead [y] disorder... #...or you haven't completely understood your care needs/your symptoms/what helps you... #...and some people see ANY change in your understanding of your disability as proof of maliciously faking... #...when i suppose in my personal experience people don't *maliciously* fake disability... #...i'm not saying it could never happen but that i don't think it's the *only* thing motivating people called fakers #i just think (like most everything) this is complex and nuanced because it's a *human* experience #like for me personally i /know/ i still have a lot to learn about my disabilities... #...like... i realized recently that my hands shouldn't be in AGONY when warm water is ran over them when it's SLIGHTLY cold inside or out... #...and i realized that i likely have a Noticable limb difference that needs checking out. does this sound like i'm faking... #...or that maybe i just didn't really explore my own needs and body because of a variety of factors? #i can assure you it is because i haven't really thought before about how i deserved to understand how to best help myself

I actually really love having a bunch of WIPs on the go. I love being able to pick and choose which one I feel like working on at the moment. I love being able to flip back and forth between a half dozen different stories just writing a scene or two on one before moving on to do the same thing on the next. I love the comfort of that story that's not quite fully gelled in my brain yet but it's there waiting for me to continue it once I've figured out where it's going. I love being able to choose which vibe is flowing right now. I love having some stories near the start and some near the end and a whole bunch at the midpoint.

#the same goes for reading WIPs tbh #it's great to have that variety #without the self-imposed pressure of trying to 'finish' reading the whole thing #because it's not done yet #so I don't have to be done yet either #and also as long as it's not done #I can imagine it going in a million different ways #just like I can with canon

Just wanna put Alastor (Hazbin Hotel) and Luffy (One Piece) in a jar and shake them. Just imaging these two chaotic aro ace in the same room brings me so much joy.

I feel like they would viscerally hate each other if they ever had to meet ahah :'D I drew them reacting to their flag instead! I haven't drawn Luffy in a hot minute damn I missed my boi

Now that I think about it, it's funny how similar yet completely different they are. Luffy's whole deal is about smiling, laughing and make people around him happy, while Alastor's whole deal is also about smiling, but he uses it for control, to hide his true emotions and make people around him uncomfortable/second guessing him all the the time.

Luffy is aroace, but still full of love for everyone, he cares so much and shows so much affection, while Alastor is aroace and mostly touch averse, takes a long time to get attached to people and shows very little affection (or maybe has his own definition of affection idk)

And they both have a weird moral code and hate people in power who uses it to exploit the weak?? Not to the same extend ofc but still, that's an interesting trait they share .

WHAT A MONTH. and here we are, at the end of it. somehow. obligatory "congrats for surviving february" to you all. it was certainly hectic for me, but I crawl on. we all crawl on.

also, yes, my cat decided to use my tablet as a sleeping pad every single time I sat down so we were dealing with some obstacles along the way. you know how it is with cats. (she was rewarded handsomely for allowing me to use her sleeping pad to draw, don't worry.)

personally i didn't mind the original "childish" g3 outfits; it made them look more like 15 year olds, y'know?

#i know they're fashion dolls but in gen 1 90% of the outfits consisted of miniskirts and 6 in heels #and granted i grew up in a smaller town--maybe its different in the cities or smth #but kids normally only dressed like that to go to parties and stuff. it was a lot more casual going to school #plus its nice having a wider variety of outfits #my only real complaint for the g3 outfits so far is that some of them could use #a bit more black/darker colors to better evoke that classic goth-y mh vibe #and itd make the vivids & pastels pop more #monster high
