Meet the Suminori's

Hajime Suminori is part of the Public Safety Devil Retrieval - they're the division that retrieves and captures devil for Public Safety to make contracts with. It isn't a really easy job unless you've got enough charisma to charm even Devils.

Ayumi Suminori is a career driven women - She's a designer/seamstress, but she loves her son plenty (If he continues to keep being the perfect child that he is).

Kurimi Suminori is the eldest sibling and he's a pain in the ass, who speaks his mind and is often times bitter about his father never paying any attention to him and only their little sibling. He's a people pleaser though, especially when it comes to his mother.

Kairi, or Kav, Suminori is an up and coming idol in a group - She's quiet and meek, a pushover and is an idol because her father was once part of an idol group himself but had to drop out when he and his then girlfriend, Ayumi, were expecting a child. She is living out his past dreams - She's always been deathly ill since she was a child up until a few years ago when she started getting better for unknown reasons. (Reasons she doesn't know herself but her father, who works for the Public Safety has made a few contracts with devils to keep her alive.)

This absolutely has the energy of their picture and the important elements, even if you nudged it a little (which as a woodcarver and writer, I get!)! They have their warm smiles, they've clearly been running around all wild and having fun (the FLUSHES on their cheeks🥺), messy hair, the skyline behind them. THEY WAY THEY'RE ALL CUDDLED UP CLOSE. I also LOVE too how you stayed true to Matt by having his eyes not looking at the camera (cause why would he???).

MATT'S ADORABLE EYE CRINKLES. 😭

My babies look so so gd happy, which is what this picture IS for them. It's them happy and relaxed and so, so fucking in love with each other already comfortable with one another. There's a reason Jane's so in love with that picture. There's a reason Matt likes to run his fingers over the frame and remember what it felt like (and why he kept the scrap of fabric she hung on the fence).

I love this. I love this so fucking much.

So ive never really had like "comfort characters" and shows and the like but I got characters I feel like a deep understanding of and man I saw something today that was just such a misunderstanding of the character that it really upset me, Like I get why you could maybe corelate somerthing like that but it just feels so far from her character.

And while I dont wanna do a whole as writeup I can atleast do a small rambly thing: Kobeni is NOT Suicidal, Shes in a situation she hates being in, Forced into by her Parents giving her essentially the Fucked up choices of "Whore yourself out or Get a job that will most likely be the death of you" And she chose the Devilhunter career (Sidenote this is also why I fucking hate people doing lewd shit of her, or the "Kobeni in an alternate universe! xDD") But despite her incredibly shitty circumstances, She wants to live. She wants to live her own life, free from her parents, she wants to goto University. When Pochita barges into the Family Burger, if she was suicidal, dont you think she would have tried to get him to kill her, or show some kind of jealousy at her coworkers fate. She follows trough on Pochitas strange requests, Becuase she wants to fucking live.

She wouldnt be sad about something like this if she was suicidal.

Id know.

Also sidenote, I hope Kobeni is living a nice quiet life going to a University somewhere thats far, far away from Tokyo and her piece of shit Parents
