after reading volume 3 of dead apple it is completely safe to say that was the gayest fucking thing i have ever laid eyes on. i have seen to queers making out on the side of the street and even that doesnt compare to the sheer amount of homosexuality dead apple contains. how did asagiri get away with this. i. what.

so heres a small summery of what i remember from that volume (warning- SPOILERS!)

i want to go on a 5 hour rant about the utter fucking amount of pure gayness i read but i have school in an hour so. enjoy this for now

I think the roles that Chuuya and Dazai played in Dead Apple where also just a way of making the story writing easier for the author.

When people got attacked by their abilities, the abilities thought and used the powers the same way the original users did, and also fought the same way.

If Dazai had tried to fight his ability it wouldn’t have gotten snywhere, and he could’ve been at it for a long while until someone showed up to help. Dazai isn’t the strongest in the ada, and he mostly dodges his opponent until he’s in a good spot to use his ability. He would also set traps for his enemy to fall into so he could take them hostage. On top of this even if someone had shown up to help, the nullification would have made that pretty hard as well.

If Chuuya had to fight his gravity manipulation, he probably would have died unless Dazai came to help. Since it’s no longer in a human body, it could have activated corruption for as long as it wanted, and Chuuya wouldn’t have stood a chance. There is also the fact that the author just kind of started putting Chuuya in random and useless places to satisfy the fans in the anime, so getting rid of his fight in the movie would have made it way less enjoyable.

The roles that these two play made the movie fun and interesting, and I love how Chuuya was able to trust in Dazai still being alive, and how he guessed that there would be a capsule in his mouth. They really do know each other really well and share a special bond, even if they are at each others throats 99% of the time.

i think about the possibilities for tachihara during the dead apple incident constantly

like bro has to fight his own ability (metal control) which sound awful to do. SKK au where they still have their abilities but Dazai accidentally kissed Chuuya when they first met, knocking Chuuya out of gravity manipulation...

Since then Dazai has lied that his ability is activated by kissing and not by touching and Chuuya has never doubted cause Dazai always go in for the kiss as soon as he grabs Chuuya to nullify his ability.

And Dazai threatened the rest of the PM to not to expose him and they had to suffer skk making out during battle in their mafia era.

Then Dazai left PM and they met again as ADA member and PM executive on battle field and Dazai on instinct grabbed Chuuya for a kiss to nullify corruption.

The rest of the ADA be like: why is Dazai kissing the enemy executive?

PM members: Not this shit again!

And Atsushi would later ask Chuuya shyly why does Dazai kiss him to pull him out of his ability and Chuuya in ultra confusion be like 'Cause that's how his ability works?'

Only to find out that Dazai has been lying to his face the whole damn time...

I love that Akutagawa was fully willing to kill Dazai in Dead Apple. Like Atsushi was thinking there had to be some other reason he was involved, but Akutagawa just saw an excuse to kill Dazai and accepted it instantly
