Hello! I hand make these 3D Wire Galaxy fidgets. They were once popular back in the 1900’s, and were mostly enjoyed as a fun trinket, or hair piece. Enjoy this fun video of me making one from scratch! :)

Just thoughts: please don't reblog, take this as anything but me venting- PLZ. I want a discourse free blog
I am happy that more and more people are like de-stigmatizing autism and adhd. And that more are getting diagnosed. And even self diagnosing doesn't bother me much if proper research is done.
But that said-
Does anyone else with autism and adhd feel like some people latched onto it with the desire to just be "UwU I'm so quirky"?
I don't care in the sense that other people are their own business and if it's a lie- usually lies like this are found out pretty easily eventually.
But like then I remember all the bullying and the hardships I've had and then special ed and the bullying and stigma around that and my learning disabilities.... And like... Feel some what bitter that some people are like "lol adhd/autistic people need to stop being so relatable or I need to see a doctor" on only mostly positive posts.
Don't get me wrong I wouldn't trade my autism or adhd for anything because it is a part of me but
It feels like a continuation of the NTs who grabbed onto fidget tools, weighted blankets, the term "special interest", etc, when they used to bully us for using them and still some do.
I feel torn?
Like I can't even describe why or what exactly I feel. But it does feel the wrong way to me.
Or when people WITH ONLY adhd keep trampling on only autistic spaces...
That's been rubbing me the wrong way too.
I can't even explain all of why.

Betcha didn't know these trinkets once were treasures. A once popular toy enjoyed by those born in the 1900's, survived the test of time as a toy for fidgeting, ornamental piece, and fashion accessory.
It's difficult to find 100% handmade versions of these quirky multi-functional toys in 2023. Luckily, I've spent the last half decade crafting these to keep this traditional handmade piece alive.
Please consider browsing my Etsy shop. I offer these in 100's of colours (including custom requests), and my reviews showcase how customers have discovered uses for this in their own personal way.
My Etsy bestseller listing below:
PS: As highly requested, international customers can now enjoy lower shipping costs, making Meraki Sphere more affordable than ever, overseas. :)
