Christmas time! Oh, it's not anymore, is it? Nevermind, here's another Xmas make for a friend who directly wished for such a turtle and even provided me with a pattern. It was a very enjoyable quick project, it surprised me how fast ot worked up. Only hiccup happened with a weird crocheting together instruction and I ended up changing the position of the legs in the end. Happy little 🐢

Even though Wednesday is allergic to color, we know she’d find plenty of things of interest here at Beads of Paradise. We have intriguing cultural items featuring skulls, skeletons, and spirit creatures from all over the world, in addition to plenty of beads dark enough to match her aesthetic. How about DIY beading a piece for Enid and herself, “matching-ISH” jewelry, in return for her own thoughtful handmade gift? For Wednesday, perhaps she’d like some Obsidian beads to match her Obsidian pendant? Or perhaps some Smokey Quartz, Jet, Spinel, Banded Agate, Onyx or some antique black glass beads? She can use an awl to knot the beads together, and yes, sometimes it *can* help to “stab” into a table or your tray to help anchor yourself while you tighten your knot, and since she attests to being a fan of stabbing….. maybe it’d be a perfect craft to pursue?
