hello! i don't want to be super obnoxious but i just wanted to let you know that on your freiren post praising madhouse i added some of the people responsible for that scene :D in case you were curious! i always find it fun to put names to scenes we like so I thought maybe you'd find that interesting too. yay!
Heya!
Yes, thank, I saw! The reason why I didn't feel the need to reblog it myself is twofold :
1/ I am not an anime focused blog and I don't think anyone follows me for that. I rarely talk about manga or anime here despite the amount I consume. The immense majority of reblogs on this post is from people browsing the sousou no frieren tag directly. I think proof of that is that my gif set of Stark vs. the solar dragon totally flopped.
As a result, me re-sharing the same post with added names would not really benefit anyone compared to people reblogging it straight from you. When you search in the tags, only the vanilla post appears.
2/ We don't actually know who animated these scenes in particular. We know some of the regular staff and main animators, like Kouki Fujimoto, but people on sakuga booru have identified other animators like Toshiyuki Satou, Daiki Harashina, Kaito Tomioka, Hanwen Ye, Tetsuya Ishikawa, etc.
And of course Madhouse employed a ton of freelancers for this show, like god-tier animater Yutaka Nakamura, and Hironori Tanaka.
Right now, Sakugabooru lists the hand-wringing animation as 'artist unknown'.
If I knew exactly who animated what, I'd rehall my post to include them. Since I don't, I won't. I don't think I have a duty to educate people about the core Madhouse staff. I'm hardly a factor in this fandom. I just enjoy doing gif edits of shows I really love.
if i had a dollar for every anime i watched that either had ayumu murase, kaito ishikawa, yuki kaji, or daiki yamashita in it i would have enough money to pay for merch of said show
Plot premise: As summer arrives for the students at UA Academy, each of these superheroes-in-training puts in their best efforts to become renowned heroes. They head off to a forest training camp run by UA's pro heroes, where the students face one another in battle and go through dangerous tests, improving their abilities and pushing past their limits. However, their school trip is suddenly turned upside down when the League of Villains arrives, invading the camp with a mission to capture one of the students.
Boku no Hero Academia 3rd Season follows Izuku "Deku" Midoriya, an ambitious student training to achieve his dream of becoming a hero similar to his role model—All Might. Being one of the students caught up amidst the chaos of the villain attack, Deku must take a stand with his classmates and fight for their survival.
± That's some progress and development for so many of them. The student internships and life events and provisional license training. <3 The story is doing very well indeed between pacing and keeping the plot moving. Two particular voice acting moments really got to me this season: Iida's impassioned speech/plea in the aftermath of the summer camp made me cry; And Bakugo's long overdue opening up/breakdown wrenched my heart.
