But they couldn’t stop until it was over.

Not until Wei Wuxian was a broken man, blearily looking up at his saviors who at the same time were his torturers. “Wen…Qing…” It had been an entire two days and a night, and he was finally able to rest, but he had to make sure everything had been a success.

Wen Qing felt Jiang Cheng’s meridian with a serious expression, the pause long enough to have Wei Wuxian asking once more. “…” She looked up, her face softening as it landed on the man, a new-found respect in her eyes. “It was a success.”
