I got the pinkest Rainbow High/Shadow High doll I could find, and lemme say it was a crime to decapitate her because she was beautiful, but needs must. She was still not nearly the right tone but I have these tights that are pretty darn close so I'm squinting it into working. All the skin tones of RH/SH have been a huge help in doll customizing. I would prefer a larger size but y'know what, I'll take what we get.

Fifi is wearing a Mattel baby top (it was a tight squeeze but I've done worse! thank goodness for removable hands). Pretty Crazy Curls is wearing a dress by @dollsahoy ! It got here super fast!!

Here's my finished Starfire and Nightwing dolls! For Starfire, I coated her in a light layer of gold glitter paint and did her eyes in glittery green, then I sewed her a whole costume :D. For Nightwing, I painted over the light aqua(?) accents in a deeper, prettier blue and then added fingerstripes and blue soles to his boots and coated him in satin mod podge to look less plastic-y and more supersuit-y.

Did I ever share last year's Halloween goblinself doll photoshoot? I can't remember. But I'd planned on making a new costume for her and doing more photos but I think because my hair is drastically different now (not just in color but my mohawks style it's self.) I feel like I just want to make a v2. So no new Halloween photos this year cause I'ma use a budget g3 Draculaura to make a new goblinself doll. A goblinsona doll? A new trash goblin doll. Just a bit hesitant to do so because I want to adjust Dracs chin to be more like mine, but that means sculpting with miliput again and last time I did that it caused me a huge headache trying to color match the damn alterations. But at least this time I'll be making the skintone green so the green miliput might not be so hard to cover. I dunno.

Anyways, here's a potential repeat of last year's goblin costume photos cause I want to start posting and using tumblr more.

I'm toying with the idea of streaming working on her to tumblr live. It feels like a very laid back and chill way to stream, in comparison to how I always felt streaming on Twitch. I just gotta look into it more, and see how I can manage to best capture what I'm working on and be in frame, cause I'm used to doing a two camera set up and all that.

finally starting to work on my madokami doll custom after tons of delays! i wanted to at least start her on easter weekend in honor of her character themes and the pmmm finale, which was released on good friday! (if i didn't have hella pms cramps yesterday, i would've actually started working on her on good friday, but them's the breaks)

doll customizing is something i'm still pretty new to, but something i got into because i wanted to see my favorite characters as dolls. madokami will only be my third custom, but i hope to do her justice! here are my two past customs (luz was my first and cure moonlight was my second):

doll #4 won't be homucifer, btw. i wanna cover a lot of different franchises before doing another character from the same one (getting this out of the way now since i got questions about if i'm going to make an amity right after making luz, lol). amity and homucifer are both charas i wanna do someday, tho!

doll #4 will probably be nico robin, which will come as great news for any of my followers who are joint owl house/precure/pmmm/one piece fans (if anyone on here other than me is, i'd love to be friends, lol). in the meantime, i'll keep you posted on my madokami progress!
