In "Too Young" when Princess Bubblegum talked about how she "never get to act like a kid" and how she wishes she "could stay like this with you, but..." I started crying. This poor girl grew up in the harsh world of early Ooo, she spawned from a living wad of gum and built a house for her brother, she tried to have a family but they betrayed her and she internalized that as "ignorance is bliss." Because shes intelligent, and she's sure not happy, and they were intelligent, and they weren't happy either, atleast Neddy is happy when he's just sucking on those roots and blissfully unaware of his surrondings. Homegirl didn't have any childhood at all, even Marceline had a more carefree childhood when she was with Simon, and she grew up in the literal apocalypse with three parental abandonments. Simon kept her entertained and cared for her, but PB was protecting Neddy and scavenging for resources, on her own, just to stay alive, her entire childhood. God. People dont talk enough about how tragic her childhood was, I feel freaking awful.

Imagine it's two in the morning. The other side of your bed holds nothing but cold, empty wrinkles on the sheet, and you realize that your husband isn't there. So, you move from your sleeping spot and hiss when the cold floor comes in contact with your warm feet, tucked in the embrace of a warm blanket.

Your feet search for your slippers as you adjust the robe that'd fallen off of your shoulders. Then, you search for your husband, hoping that he didn't fall asleep on the couch after watching a movie so you didn't need to pick up 200 pounds of muscle.

The downstairs is lightened up in a soft glow of green from the tv, so it was easier to map out your surroundings. Then, you find kirishima hunched over with his hands over his mouth bawling from.

Anyway, there you find him, trying not to let out any vocal sobs out of fear of waking you... and it's one of the sweetest, saddest things you've ever seen.

When he spots you standing in the doorway, he quickly tries to wipe his face so that you don't notice the tears, but since the video is still playing in the background, of course it doesn't work and he's left just... staring at you under the flickering blue lights with a wobbly lip and wet cheeks.

I feel like... you could easily lead him back to bed, or you could crawl onto his lap right then and there and comfort him that way, too. Wiping his cheeks in silence as the episode ends and he holds onto you so tightly and securely. He kisses you when the credits roll, your mouths still minty from toothpaste... and instead of heaving you up to go back to your room, maybe he just pulls the couch throw up around you so you can both go to sleep on the couch, wrapped up just like that.

(And when you wake up, bright sun streaming into the living room, you tell him, the next time he needs a little bit of late night, David Attenborough-fueled catharsis, if he would be so kind as to let you, you would love to sit with him and watch, too.

Cue, a couple weeks later... the both of you crying again at the little fishies videos <333)

I was telling my friend how my hamster still gnaws at the bars of his cage and how I’ve tried EVERYTHING from toys to new food etc etc to provide stimulation, reduce boredom, and provide something new to gnaw on.

And they made me a little basket of goodies to given him. Including treats. And healthy snacks. And toys. And chewy things.

And he loves them.

I feel like I was having kid problems and someone just gave me things to help.

Basically my hamsters are my kids.

And someone helped me care for them.

There's always something so symbolic about framed pictures when they're broken.

The fact that Eve didn't fix the cracks says so much - look at how there's a portion that only includes the heads of the mom and dad.

Now look at the bottom half, how she's excluded from the both of them on both sides.

The cracks are likely to represent the rift in their relationship, Eve already knows this but when she didn't fix it it solidified that she accepts this and knows that the rift will stay for a long time.

When she changed the photo to what she envisioned her family would look like, there were no more cracks.

Found family always hits right but found family you barely knew about but STILL consider your family even when they're gone has now kicked me in angst-ville. Excuse me while I go cry a river.
