You know that very very angry young anon who harassed me over TMNT 2003 until I turned off anon? They're back, with sock puppet accounts to yell at my friends with.

They sent me an inbox message that kind of broke my heart. About how since I think about Raph and Mikey's relationship in various lights, it makes sense my brain damage would mean I'm a "cunt" about it. "Brain damaged cunt" is something most people might flinch at.

Honey, listen. If you are that angry at people in your fandom for not feeling the same way as you about a pair of fictional brothers who tease each other, you need to get out of fandom altogether for a while. Talk to someone about your mental health. Take some deep breaths. Really think about why you had to call me a brain damaged cunt like it's the worst insult you can think of (you want insults? hang out with my old social group for an hour, they would have torn you to ribbons).

You've said I support and encourage consistent teasing, after you obviously dug through my blog to learn about the bullying I endured. You've said blatantly untrue things to the point where I'm wondering what your overall goal is, if any.

Cryptid AU Idea

This is just a AU I've been thinking about for a while.

Possible triggers: Mentions of abandonment(I think that's it, please inform me if you see anything else)

Brain dump I guess. (This is mainly an introduction as I haven't solidified a lot for any of this. I just wanted to share my current brain rot).A couple months ago, I started thinking up a Cryptid AU for the turtles. This is heavily inspired by the missing 411 cases documented by David Paulides. Instead of only living in the Hidden city, many yōkai chose to live in forests, national parks, etc. The yōkai residing in said national parks have commonly been attributed to paranormal things and cryptid stories that happen in said forests. The most common places for yōkai to reside is on the Appalachian Mountains, Yosemite park, or Grand Canyon National Park because of the large communities and bountiful land/resources there. However, most yōkai who chose to live on the surface in these parks tend to be more feral or territorial towards humans, including the turtles. The turtles in particular don't actually reside in a community. There are other yōkai in the area, yes, but they stick to their territories and the turtles stay in theirs. Unless someone needs help. While most communities do not interact with each other, they will branch out in a time of need(injuries, food, etc).

BACKSTORY:

After getting kidnapped and Lou Jitsu burned down Draxum’s lair, he never ended up getting mutated. Once he realized the turtles were no longer just turtles, he just kinda dumps them in the woods near the Appalachian trail so he wouldn't have to deal with them. Eventually, the turtles end up meeting one of the yōkai communities who get them back on their feet, but kinda shoo them off after they deem the turtles fit to survive. The turtles end up living in a cave system under a lake they found, staying in the air pockets of their 'lair'. They hunt animals around their 'territory', only messing with humans to steal some of their things, but never being fully caught. Know very little english(mostly from travelling humans and the times they needed to speak to other communities) and mostly communicate in chirps and such. Much more turtle-like and wild considering they don't spend much time with anyone else.

i reject your reality and substitute my own when it comes to the word of god about how Donnie has perfect sight and doesn’t need glasses but I'm a big fan of the idea that as a softshell his eyes were initially more built to work well underwater, not on dry land, so he needed glasses when he was a kid, but he gradually adapted to the life on land and his sight corrected itself

#rottmnt #but because i like don with glasses i'm also gonna hc that his eyesight gets tired when he stares at screen for too long #and he needs them on separate ocassions #so you sometimes can catch a rare sight of a cryptid softshell getting pepsi from the fridge at 3 in the morning with his framed eyes glowi #that or he just switched to contacts when he started using goggles #it's super uncomfy to wear those with your glasses #and all of the species of the turtles except mikey are aquatic in rise #but it seems like softshells are the ones who can't really stand being on land too well #i feel like leo also needed glasses but is more reluctant to wearing them because ~image~
