(I actually got over my complete fear of it, reverse cowgirl traumatised me so much. I'm thankful I didn’t start rewatching it with the gorey episodes I would have gotten so many nightmares.)

Happy tree friends (we all got traumatised by that, who are we kidding here.)

strange hill high (not all the episodes but I still can’t quite get my head straight to watch it again. It’s actually amazing and really funny, I might actually rewatch the show at some point if I muster up the courage.)

figaro pho (Gave my brother germphobia, and gave me SO MANY Nightmares. it’s actually a good show as well, but oh man I could not handle it. Pho is anxiety personified, and phobias. because get it PHO-bia. haha.)

Grizzly tales for gruesome kids, that gave me and my brother nightmares. oh man, honestly abc3 era channel 23 gave me so many nightmares. 

I can’t think of anymore I’ll post more when I remember! :D

Shoulders relaxed when he appeared to be satisfied with the results of his check. He then cradled the black cat in his arms carefully, tucking it beneath his thick cape. When she had heard news about the Red Hair Pirates showing up on the island, Haru knew that she had to take advantage of the opportunity. The idea of getting into their good graces was simply too tempting to pass up on. Really, who wouldn’t at least try? 

The little feline slunk onto the massive ship in the dead of night. Some of the crew was still up and about, but Haru easily slipped into the shadows as she headed below deck. What crew didn’t like a cat or two on board? She’d be good. Kill all their pests and stay out of their way. There were simply no downsides to having her around, if she did say so herself. Sure some gold and coin might go missing eventually, but to a crew this well off they’d hardly notice... Probably.

She made sure to hide away behind some crates in their storage before falling asleep. Her devil fruit powers slipped away along with her consciousness and she didn’t want to be caught off guard.

The sound of a door opening and footsteps entering the room caused her to stir in the morning. Upon realizing what was happening, Haru immediately turned into her feline form, ready for her little cat and mouse game-- with her playing the mouse. She bolted, revealing herself before she began to dodge and weave away from the hands that were trying to capture her.

As the man inspected her closely, Haru played nice, simply giving him a squeaky meow. If memory served her right, this man looked to be Benn Beckman.

It seemed that whatever test she had been put through, she passed because she found herself snuggled into his arms. She began to purr, reveling in the affection he provided her. It wasn’t even a voluntary reaction. She was simply delighted to have landed a spot in the arms of one of the strongest people alive.

When Senshi was young in the dungeon the majority of the adults he were with ostracized him. All except Gillin, who died to make sure Senshi had something to eat: unseasoned boiled meat that may or may not have been one of their comrades.

It really puts into perspective why he was so nurturing towards Chilchuck. When Chil reveals he’s 28 to the party, Senshi responds by telling him that he thought he was older. Senshi was in his 30s when he and his comrades got trapped in the dungeon, so it’s safe to assume that he thought Chil was at a similar age.

He met a young boy who was, from his perspective, forced to do dangerous work in the dungeon just like he was, and so, Senshi made an effort to look after Chilchuck in the same way Gillin looked after him.

Mind you, when Senshi was young in the dungeon he had to starve for weeks, eat the horse he loved, and finish it off spending the next i don’t know how many years wondering if he committed cannibalism.

Senshi understands first hand the value of nutrition and proper eating, so when he’s with the party he makes an effort to make sure they’re all eating a full and balanced diet. Not only that, but Senshi INVOLVES them in the process of getting food to eat, always preparing it in front of them and narrating every ingredient in the process so that there’s no doubt about what they’re eating.
