Wild hybrids weren't the most popular among owners, and Sooyoung knew that. The staff that handled her adoption papers had asked if she was sure several times, enough to annoy the older woman. But she wouldn't back out, and she didn't.

She understood why society thought like that - she had seen on the news a few times, stories about hybrids of wild species hurting their owners pretty badly. However, Sooyoung knew her little baby wolf would never do something like that.

Yerim wasn't the most normal hybrid to have, either - she was a tanuki, afterall, the rare specimen of japanese dog raccoon. She was too cute, and didn't look threatening at all, so that's probably why no one bothered to say something about the exotic hybrid. It's one less problem to the family of four to deal with, so Sooyoung never bothered to think too much about it.

After a few months being a family, the human scheduled a lovely routine, having at least one outing in family to have a little fun and, today was one of these days.

The outing wasn't so fun, though. Hyejoo felt uncomfortable, not even the food was able to distract her of the stares. Everyone in that goddamned restaurant seemed to stare; fearful, hateful, incredulous stares - none of them curiosity or amusement - and although a kid, Hyejoo felt every single one of them, burning her back.

Sooyoung felt like they should go home. Even clueless and oblivious Yerim noticed the tense atmosphere, though both her and the oldest sister kept their mouths shut.

Until,

"Excuse me, Miss, kids. I'm Haseul, your waiter and butler for today!" Being a devotes customer of the said restaurant, Sooyoung recognized the woman in front of their table, Miss Jo, the manager of the establishment - one specially built with the purpose of being welcoming to all kinds of hybrids. Haseul quit her "staff voice" to whisper a little lower. "I see the stares, and I know a place that will be way more fun." She managed to wink the little eyes.

Then, manager Seul - that's how she begged the kids to call her - dragged the little family to the upper floor, where this big, indoor playground took place. All the hybrids got excited, tails wagging and eats twitching happily.

While usually the access to the playground are would cost a little more on the bill, that time (and all the succeding ones) it turned out to be free.

And, honestly? Sooyoung couldn't even thank Haseul enough for saving their outing that day.

Jinsoul notices it first. How they barely see Haseul around anymore. She feels like it had been months, but she knows it'd been barely two weeks.

They'd usually meet for coffee after their internship, abusing a little of Sooyoung's mom's generosity and getting one or two chocolate cookies for free - as it was her coffee shop, anyways - after the stressing hours working hard. Many beautiful smiles thrown around the comfy table, happy giggles and innocent looks of the blossoming friendship showing thorught the bubbly atmosphere

The second she notices as well, Sooyoung is confused. She's also scared she had done something bad for their short best friend. She wonders if something happened between Haseul and her, now, girlfriend. Even if the black haired woman was her girl now, Sooyoung knew she - they both were - was in love with the shorty.

The last time they had seen the youngest, was the day they revealed their little secret.

"She seemed fine, after we told her," They didn't have in mind that Haseul is an incredible actress. "Maybe she just wants to give us more time alone!" The Ha wasn't sure of that. Although she and Jinsol have been really happy together, having fun dates and everything... It just wasn’t the same without Haseul; for neither of them.

If Jinsol knew Sooyoung well, Sooyoung could literally read Haseul like an open book. They even met each other at kindergarden, like life is a beautiful childhood friends' story gone wrong.

"Sol," Sooyoung's eyes were glistening - she was scared, - worry, sadness and regret filling her lone tears. "We need to find her. Now"

Haseul would be lying if she said she did not know where it all started. The day she saw blonde and dark brown hair contrasting the cloudy sky above them in high school, Haseul knew she was in deep. It was somewhere around sophomore and junior year; with a nerd turned blonde and a dancer turned nerd.

She met Sooyoung in kindergarden, puffy cheek and charming moles drawing the attention of a 5-year-old Jo Haseul ever since. Then, they met Jinsol in high school - big glasses, messy ink black hair and nerdy hobbies.

It all escalated from there; shy feelings turning into cravings, dreams turned drunken realities. Although forever hidden, thoss feelings were never gone.

Jo Haseul kissed Jung Jinsol and Ha Sooyoung when they were all 18 and a few too many drinks into a high school party ,and, hell. The youngest of the girls knew from then, she wouldn't be able to picture herself with anyone else.

Maybe she still had a bit of hope inside her - maybe she hoped one day she'd confess and have Jinsol's and Sooyoung's lovs just for her. Although hidden, her feelings were hopeful.

She was wrong.

Just that weekend, her best friends dropped the truth on her - they were dating. God, Haseul thought the feeling of your heart shattering into the tiniest pieces was just an exaggerated way of telling stories, but she felt it. She felt it like her whole being was porcelain, and the air the strongest of the hammers.

It hurt, but nothing would ever compare to what was still to come.

The first time it happened, was during the late evening of a Monday. Haseul’s throat itched and hurt endlessly, until the hardest cough gave place to a little, yet painful, sunflower petal.

The yellow looking flower somehow painted with red, blood droplets, fell to the floor along the silence despair in the Jo’s eyes. She knew what it meant - her family had a history of an hereditary, ancient disease that affected the Jo women ever since centuries ago. She didn’t think destiny would chose her.

The days and nights came slowly, the painful flower blooming inside her lungs as if it was the most fertile soil it could have. Tuesday, she’d cough up seeds and petals. Wednesday, she’d feel the flowers sucking the life off of her. Thursday, Haseul threw up a whole Helianthus flower, blood dripping out of the corner of her lips.

The flowers grew too quickly - she’s sure they were holding back these symptoms since high school. It wouldn’t make sense otherwise.

By the next week, the girl could barely get her tiny frame out of bed, petals all around the pillows and floor.

It hurt so bad. When Sooyoung and Jinsol managed to get into Haseul’s apartment; the several yellowish petals scattered around the floor were the first thing they saw. Their friend had told them before, the disease she was born with. They knew what could have happened - or was about to.

Jinsol walked in further first.She was scared, but wanted to help as soon as possible, even if it meant to run into the worst of the scenarios.

“Wait, Sol. Please.” Sooyoung grabbed the younger’s hand, stopping her mid step. The oldest was terrified - anxious even. She didn’t want to think too much.

Jinsol stared at glossy, anxious eyes. With her own orbs shaking, she held her girlfriend’s hand tighter.

“She’ll be okay, Soo.” She heard the phrase echo on her mind several times.

After that, everything was kind of blurry - finding your best friend and first love bleeding like that wasn’t something Sooyoung, out of all people, could quite handle. Jinsol took care of most of it, cleaning the floor, the bed sheets, and the Jo herself, only asking of Sooyoung to hold the youngest girl and watch if she’d cough or wake up.

“Soo?” The girl on her arms called, faint voice and eyes barely open. Somehow feeling better just by being in the presence of her beloved Sooyoung. “What are you doing here...?” She tries to get up, but the older’s towering height over her small frame doesn’t let her.

“Seul,” Teary eyed, hugging tightly the tiny girl. “Don’t ever leave me like this again.” Sobs fill the silence the last girl finally enters the room; Sooyoung is crying loudly, and although feeling weak, Haseul still manages to pat her head reassuringly.

Jinsol also wants to cry at the sight, but she doesn’t. She is really emotional - but for Sooyoung, she holds her crying just to be the thinking head of the situation.

“Haseulie,” She pauses. The Jung is not sure how to word the question. “How... What happened? Isn’t this disease caused by... one-sided...”

“Yeah,” Haseul starts to answer, still lying on the oldest’s lap. Deep breathes once, twice, before continuing. There’s no use in hidding anymore; they’d find out anyways. “I’m in love with both of you.”

The older girls can’t believe it. Haseul has been suffering because of them. Unfairly so,

“No, I won’t remove it. If it means forgetting you two... I’d rather die.” Hearing the morbid tone of a over-reviewed option; the two older girls knew their friend went through her choices over and over again- and yet, she choose the far worst one.

“NO!” Sooyoung yelled, voice cracking mid word. “Seulie, please, no, don’t ever say this again,” Sobbing intensified hiccups, not even Jinsol could hold it anymore. It hurt. “You don’t have to go, no, no, this is unfair. The disease is for one-sided love! I don’t understand! I’ve been in love with you ever since we were in middle school, Jo Haseul!”

Wide eyed, the youngest wasn’t fast enough to say anything.

“Jinsol, too! I knew it, when we kissed in a high school party! I know she can’t stop thinking about you. It’s not fair, you shouldn’t be suffering, it’s not one-sided! Please...”

“Sooyoung, please calm down...” Jinsol kneels in front of the couch the others were, patting Haseul’s hair and trying to control her own tears. She leaves a kiss on the younger’s cheek, kissing where once was growing a sunflower.

“Y-You...” Haseul’s voice cracks. “You love me back?”

Both girls stare at each other, sharing a little, close mouthed smile through the still falling tears.

“We do, Seulie.”

It's been just a few days since Sooyoung found out about the other two little hybrids living hidden in her backyard, and going from hybrid-less to "owning" - the woman hated that word - three different natured hybrids in less than a week was surely something she didn't expect for her life.

The little hybrids were also really different from each other, Hyunjin and Yerim always friendly and willing to comply to orders and just overall obey her rules. Hyejoo, however, was the total opposite.

She was suspicious at first, carefully walking in the house. Eyes darting around every corner as if all rooms had an undercover trap waiting for her to fall for it. It was her wild instinct speaking.

The oldest didn't quite know how to deal with it, with a actual wild hybrid, or how to win the trust of a little wolf pup.

Sooyoung also noted how albeit being the youngest hybrid, she acted the toughest. Little Hyejoo would always refuse food or any sort of help other than the shelter of her home. And clearly, it did way more harm than good to the kid.

A week or two past the day she rescued them, Hyejoo fell ill. The hybrid would barely be awake during the days, being weak and malnutrited, furry ears always pressed against her head, tail protected next to her body, barely moving.

Sooyoung couldn't just bring her to the hospital- It was against the law to own wild hybrids, and she could get arrested for that. So, for a whole day, it was just Sooyoung, Hyejoo and plate of food in a dark room - because the oldest woman knew it; the wolf wasn't eating well as she should.

"Please, Hyejoo. You need to eat." The hybrid was burning up in fever, Sooyoung couldn't stand losing her, or anyone else.

Hyejoo just stared from the spot on her assigned bed, eyes opened but laying unmoving.

"I know you don't trust me." The human held the plate tighter, a single tear falling down her left cheek. She wouldn't forgive herself if... "But please. Hyunjin and Yerim need you. You know, you are their youngest."

Hyejoo's ear twitched.

"Yerim... Rimie came to me earlier today. She said she was worried that you didn't wake up when she called you to get breakfast. She knows something is wrong with you, Hye." Sooyoung sighed, voice shaken, but still sounding at soft as she could muster. The tanuki hybrid's glossy eyes were too much for her to take. "She told me.. She asked me to please help her sister, Hyejoo."

Tears fell from Hyejoo's eyes, still laying on her side on the bed. She blinked painfully slow, mustering all the strength she still had in her body after starving for weeks, dehydration also doing it's share of harm to her sensitive hybrid body.

"H-Help me.." Voice broken in a plea of help, eyes tearing up again from the pain talking had caused. Mouth open, just so Sooyoung could help her eat again.

After she recovered, Hyejoo started trusting Sooyoung a little, although always helding onto Yerim when taking something from the human.

(Later, they found out Hyejoo caught a cold caused by a virus that did no harm to humans but could severely harm hybrids, specially the ones who weren't used to urban or city environments; The cold was eventually aggravated by Hyejoo keeping herself from eating the food given to her.)

my conception of 'sfw abo' is based on the way more intense feelings and senses omegas and alphas have because of their assigned types (aka omega/alpha hormones)! It also includes other types of prompts, such as clan wars or alphas fighting for an omega). Sfw abo basically focuses on all other characteristics of this universe aside mating.

with that out of the way, here we go <3 (and also sorry this got a bit too angsty at first sldjkfhsaldkf)

It was one of these nights Jungeun felt guilty for not being able to sleep alone.

She usually falls asleep early, already snoring lowly barely past 10PM. These times, she remembers, she's always close to Sooyoung. Her alpha, her girlfriend. Either laying down holding hands, or just cuddling until Jungeun is pretty much taken out to the alpha get up again.

Alone on the living room, lights off only illuminated by the shining full moon, the small omega sat on the couch. Unable to sleep, she decided to wait for Sooyoung.

It felt like hours to the Kim, waiting for long minutes until Sooyoung came back from work and meetings exactly at 1:00AM. Even thought she knew her girlfriend would be back soon, her inner omega wasn't so sure.

It made doubts pop up: "What if she doesn't come back? What if she doesn't want me anymore?" The contrasting emotions affected her Jungeun enough to little tears fall down her cheeks, sobbing silently. She really hated it, how she feels so alone, so insecure when Sooyoung wasn't by her side.

The door opened silently, the omega so absorbed in her thoughts she didn't notice the older girl getting closer to her.

Sooyoung knew it, and she hated her schedule for it. Some days she had to stay up late at work, and she knew Jungeun missed her every time.

"I'm sorry, Eun... I'm here now." Sooyoung patted her omega's head, kneeling in front of the sobbing baby on the couch. The girl got a bit startled, but soon realized it was who she missed the most. Then, Sooyoung smiled a bit, unable to resist Jungeun's cute pout and glossy eyes.

"I missed you, Soo..." The smaller girl hugged the older, inhaling the familiar scent, as if making sure to her inner omega that Sooyoung was really here. Being on the alpha's arms tranquilized her so much, her body relaxed, and suddenly her mind decided it was time to be sleepy again, and Sooyoung could tell.

The alpha then positioned her ams better under Jungeun - the task made easy by how strong Sooyoung physically was - and carried her soon-to-fall-asleep girlfriend to their shared room, and put her on the bed. The short haired woman didn't have the time to change clothes, the smaller's hand tugging at her shirt only allowed her to take out shoes and coat before pulling the older to lay beside her.

After settling on bed and resting her whole body basically on top of Sooyoung, Jungeun felt the cold - one she didn't even notice she was feeling - abandon her body as the warmth of the alpha's arms engulfed her.

Scooting closer to Sooyoung to kiss a just as warm cheek, she was able to finally sleep that night.

Whenever Hyunjin and Sooyoung are out the house, Yerim is given the mission to do the chores, even though she's not the best with cleaning - she still does a better job than Hyejoo.

There is a specific task that always ensues chaos.. doing the dishes. Every time it's the little Tanuki's day to wash the dishes, it's the same situation: a few glasses broken, some cuts on the hybrid's hands and blood droplets on the floor. (She never got severely hurt over this, but Hyejoo still goes on her so-called 'ultra protective wolfie mode' whenever.)

Sooyoung honestly finds it cute - both the kitty and the wolfie get protective over the tanuki when she's hurt. It may be just a leg cramp, a paper cut, a light bruise turning purple; the two other hybrids wrap their sister in their care not letting anyone touch Yerim for at least half an hour.

Hyunjin usually lets go rather easily, Yerim will ask once or twice, and the cat will move away just enough to have her little sister on sight. Hyejoo, however is a tad bit harder. She'd wrap little Yerim on her arms and show her fangs to whoever tries to get any closer. Mostly when they were kids, little young hybrids, as nowadays the wolf girl is working on self-controlling her wild instincts.

The Tanuki's only reaction to her sisters is smiling wide when they get protective. She finds it really cute, thoughtful and endearing of them.

hi everyone! i decided to share headcanons for one of my favorite aus: the hybrid!triplet line 😄 (i'd love it if anyone has any asks and prompts on this au to send! its one of my most favorite and i get really excited writing this one hehehe)

hyunjin is a cat hybrid, and the oldest of the triplets, she lived most of her life, about the first 10 years as a street hybrid cat, until she found her two little 'sisters'

yerim is a tanuki hybrid, and she's easily scared by anything. she hates thunders the most, though. she used to live in a house as the pet of a really rich grandpa, but once he died from his old age, his heirs didn't want her at all, so she was abandoned out the mansion

hyejoo was an actual wild wolf hybrid. she lived comfortably in the forest near yerim's grandpa mansion (the house was pretty much far away from any other cities, as the grandpa wanted). she used to have a pack, probably also parents and actual siblings, but something happened and she was alone, although she doesn't quite remember what was it.

yerim met hyejoo while running away from the evil heirs of the grandpa as they tried to hurt her for attempting entering the house again. (she didn't have anyone to talk about it, but the grandpa, Mr. Choi, was really important to her. she missed him like an actual grandfather she never got to meet)

hyejoo helped yerim hide, as she just couldnt watch another hybrid be treated like that. she had indeed seem how some humans can be with hybrids before, so she was actually eager to help. after that, yerim kinda stuck with the wolfie, and albeit reluctant to have someone else on her "one person pack" hyejoo couldn't quite resist those pleading eyes

the two hybrids met hyunjin while they were looking for human food to yerim, since she just couldnt get used to the idea of hunting or eating those cute little bunnies like hyejoo did for a living

hyunjin basically helped them shoplift a local bakery near the streets she slept at, and since then, the three got together to keep going their "perfect crime"

just, well, no crime is perfect. they got caught some week after the first time, so they had to quite literally run for their lives. the three were quite experienced in it so everything was going smoothly until hyunjin misstepped, stumbling on a rock and falling face first on the concrete.

hyejoo and yerim didnt leave her behind as they run back to carry her since they could still hear the screams of the men chasing them, but it didn't go much longer, they were tired, so they just settled on the backyard of someone's house hoping to not be caught just that night

when two youngest woke up, they saw that hyunjin was getting taken care of by a short haired woman, whom didnt seem to notice them

that woman was sooyoung, a young woman that was really, really fond of hybrids, and wished to adopt some

at first sooyoung didnt know there were two more hybrids living on her backyard, only adopting hyunjin and feeding and taking care of her. hyunjin wanted to tell her about the two babies, but they decided it was better if she kept quiet and just shared her food with them.

at some point, hyejoo gets really sick and they need to stop their lie to get sooyoung's help

hiiii!! thanks for asking! i'm actually willing to do any abo placement for the girls, just specify it on the ask! however i do have some favorite placements for them; i also added my head canons of their personalities as alphas or omegas 💕

(p.s.: since my ABO drabbles are strictly sfw, i'm going to include choerry, hyejoo and yeojin too)

vivi: for vivi i see her as an alpha! she might not be the tallest and have a rather calm personality (at least on camera) i see her taking a protective, caring role for the omegas as well as having a mysterious aura around her. no one dares challenging her.

yves: for soo, i think she goes both ways, either as a shy, insecure omega that simply adores her alpha's loving warmth embracing her, or the a-lil-bit-too-possessive alpha thats always holding her loved omega next to her. as an alpha, she's easily the one with the most self control from the alpha line, she rarely gets agressive or annoyed, solving every conflit with jokes and a good laugh. however, she's also one of the strongest alphas of the house, so getting her mad enough to use her strength is really rare.

jinsoul: for soulie, she's mostly an alpha that looks way too sweet to be one; at first glance, the sweet and cute aura and image of jinsoul is misleading, but it also makes onegas feel really comfortable around her. she likes calling all the other girls by petnames and is the least affected by hormones or her inner alpha. easily the chillest. (and she also loves to cuddle, but she doesn't quite admit it)

haseul: for me haseul, like yves, also goes both ways- as an alpha i see her a heavily emotionally driven, easily the one that gets mad the most, that cries the most, loves the most. she's really intense, and territorial, but she's also really caring and loveable. however, omega is usually the route i like going with seulie! (mostly bc my otp is yveseul and i rlly like alpha!yves with omega!haseul's dynamics) as an omega she's really outgoing, loves joking around and taking care of the younger girls (she has a strong motherly instinct, actually), as she's really short and physically weak, she often gets the help of taller alphas to reach higher shelfs or carrying things - they think its really cute. - because of her extroverted personality, when she's feeling down or sad, its easily noticeable. she loves being babied and taken care of and her favorite: being carried around. (usually, it's vivi or sooyoung saying seulie is their baby and cuddling until she falls asleep. soo also carries her a lot)

lip: my easiest choice! i love lippie as an omega, she's very reliable, motherly, caring, i rlly like her a little omega that loves to cuddle with her alpha girlfriend, whenever her emotions and hormones get to her, she nags a lot, complaining over every little thing. its usually taken care of by some hugging with another girl (more often than not, it's chuu)

chuu: i haven't write a lot of her yet, so my main go-to for her is omega! she's really really energetic, and always smiling and joking around with seul. she looks sweet and loveable, the adorable omega any alpha would love, and even though she actually IS all these things, she's also really strong (almost strong as an alpha), so whenever another omega needs a time away from the alphas, outside, she goes with them. really protective!

heejin: a sweet and sensitive omega, that somehow looks like an alpha. i have a hc for her, that works as a backstory: she's the youngest born from a family of 4 siblings. except her, all of them were alphas, and as her mother died few years after she was born, heejin was actually taught to do pretty much everything by her alpha brothers and dad. she's also pretty athletic, so she passes as an alpha quite easily if not for her scent; but, heejin is actually really sensible, she's easily hurt by words or actions, and cries often to feel better. the other girls find it cute how constrasting her personality and looks are!

hyunjin: an easy alpha: she's very athletic, fit, strong and really, really brave. she looks soft most of the time but gets really territorial and protective near the younger omegas bc she feels the need to protect them from stranger alphas.

gowon: she's the princess omega, demanding an authority she doesn't quite have hehehe she likes to have fun ordering the alphas around and promissing to cuddle them after, making fun of them (lightheartedly) and challenging them for fights as if she has any chance with how weak she is. everyone thinks she's rlly fun to be around- she is, however, mentally strong, and often helps the others with their hormonal peaks and breakdowns.

choerry: a baby omega. she's the most unstable omega of the house, being basically at the peak of puberty doesn't help at all being an omega, so her mind and emotions are usually a living rollercoaster. she tries her best a being positive though, and uses a lot of gowon's help and counseling.

hyejoo: a young alpha high on puberty at it's best. if choerry is a living rollercoaster, hyejoo is easily a walking bomb. she's really, really agressive and possessive, gets annoyed easily and constantly takes it all on video games. her only hormonal peak resulted on hurting yeojin, so since then she's frequently asking gowon's and yves' help with self control.

yeojin: the youngest alpha of their group, and somehow more controled than hyejoo. she's really shy among strangers, always needing help to talk and be confident. she's really smal albeit strong, either physically and emotionally. she's not easily affected by omega's scents, or hormone peaks, and the older alphas' guess is that it's because she's still young. she used to help hyejoo a lot until they had the accident, since then yeojin is scared of puberty and hurting her beloved unnies like hyejoo did to her.

"Hyejoo, be careful where you put your tail!" Yerim shoves the black tail tickling her nose down, slapping her sister's back as they try to find balance to hide in a bush next to the ice cream shop. It's a cloudy day that evening, and Yerim and Hyejoo were invested in spying their older sister's date with another kitty she met in highschool.

"Be quiet Yerim! She'll hear us!" Hyejoo whines back, purposefully putting her tail back up just to annoy her again.

Before Yerim could complain, their attention shifted to the loud laughing they heard coming from their sister's table. There, they saw the cutest scene: Hyunjin's nose had little ice cream to it, and as they were laughing, it looks like Heejin's doing.

Hyunjin's kitty ears shaked as she yelled playfully at her date, pointy nose dirty with the sugary substance. She couldn't believe Heejin had such audacity!

"She... she seems happy, doesn't she?" Hyejoo says. The taller was the most worried about Hyunjin, even though she's the youngest, she wanted to be sure her dearest older sister was in good paws.

"She does, Hye. I told you! Heejin is a nice kitty!" Yerim smiled brightly at the scene before her, hands still holding Hyejoo's insistent tail down (Her little sister was a bit annoying sometimes...)

"I guess..." She brought her attention back to the ice cream shop's table, focusing on Heejin's hands carefully cleaning the mess made in the taller's face with some napkins.

Having her date so close did something for Hyunjin- her ears were resting cutely on top of her head, relaxed, and she even had eyes closed.

She purred, quite loudly, surprising not only Heejin herself but also the two spys on the bush. The two younger girls were now sure, Hyunjin was with the right girl.

Poor Hyunie was teased a lot for it when she got home- face red from embarassment as the other two reenacted her actions of earlier. She smiled, either way, because Heejin made her feel just that good.

Few weeks after the left the maknae line on the dorm (cause they know its alright now) when they comeback they saw Hyejoo huddled in the corner crying. Lots of love!! fighting!! uwu 💙💙💙

Hyejoo surely felt terrible. Aside from accidentally hurting her best friend, Sooyoung had prohibited her from being near the omegas alone. She understood why, she was indeed dangerous to them- As an alpha, she was stronger, and as a teenager, she was unpredictable.

She missed the evenings Lippie would feed her watermelon pieces carefully cut into little cubes; she missed the gaming sessions, the hours of Animal Crossing gameplay she had along Chaewon and Yerim all night long. She missed the talks with Haseul and Jiwoo, too. Whenever she felt too embarrassed to bring a subject up with any other alpha, she talked to them, and they'd always cheer Hyejoo up.

This reclusion actually bought her closer to Hyunjin and Heejin - even with the latter being an omega, Hyunjin barely left her side, so it was 'okay' to be around. The older alpha always doing the most to make Hyejoo open up to her, as well as helping with the teen's hormones, while the omega kept cheering her up and making sure she didn't blame herself.

Yeojin didn't blame Hyejoo. The younger had indeed gotten scared when the Son's claws scratched her shoulder deep enough to bleed a little, but she didn't blame her. Yeojin knew how agressive the other was when her inner alpha made her mind, she understands.

Because of the accident, Hyejoo watched her life in the dorm change almost completely, being back to locking herself in her room all day, letting everything out on her online videogames.

Weeks after, the older alphas knew it was okay to leave her with the youngest girls. Sooyoung and Kahei were helping her a lot, with her self control and understanding of hormones. She was acting way calmer than before.

The oldest girls were out in their respective work places and colleges, while Hyunjin and Heejin were out doing god knows what.

Hyejoo didn't notice she was alone with the youngest omegas and Yeojin until she went out of her room for what seemed the first time in hours. She immediately panicked when the shortest girl started walking up to her, mind going blank in fear of hurting any of them again.

"NO! Don't get any closer, please!" The alpha yelled, feeling helpless, stepping back every inch Yeojin walked closer.

"Hyejoo unnie, it's oka-" Yeojin's voice was interrupted by the way the taller alpha ran by the front door, leaving the dorm, her best friend and two confused omegas behind.

"Don't follow me!" Was the last thing they heard from her.

Hyejoo was overwhelmed, the scent of the omegas she didn't see for a while plus the clear sight of the familiar scar on Yeojin's shoulder. Her claws grew again as she ran, her eyes shining gray.

Pointy nails proved useful for when she climbed the walls of the dorm, settling on sitting on the of the building's roof. She didn't feel safe or stable enough to be next to her friends.

So she waited. Watching the busy streets go by, and the sun set. Tears fell without being noticed.

It was Sooyoung who found her, huddled and crestfallen near the edge of the roof. The older alpha had a blanket in hands, one she used to soothe the other alpha, murmuring a 'Aren't you cold?' which went by unanswered.

"What happened?"

"Why did you leave me with them? I could've hurt them again." Hyejoo asked, eyes still glowing in a faint gray, alpha hormones adding to the dreaded sorrow and guilt she felt.

"Hye, you changed. Your self control got better, and you weren't in a bad day, under pressure like you were that day. You wouldn't hurt them." Sooyoung argued, seeming convincing to the younger. She understood the fear of hurting who you love. She used to feel the same when she met Haseul, Lippie and Jiwoo in highschool.

"But-" The gray eyed alpha tried;

"No buts. Here, come with me. The girls miss you." The Ha pulled the other up to her feet, bringing her back to the dorm with her.

Jungeun coughs, wide eyed, trying to run down the hallways to find a way out; unsuccessfully. It’s getting hotter and hotter, her lungs hurt like hell, everything falling apart from the ceiling to wooden walls.

Blurry sights, the last thing she hears is Sooyoung’s voice, she’s screaming her name, voices around them sounding too desperate to reach anyone else.

“Jungeun! Eun, where are you?!” The girl tries to open the door on her way out, but she can't. The lock is damaged, the door knob doesn't turn either, no matter how hard she tugs at it. Jungeun looks around once again, trying to figure a way out. The smoke feels heavier, making it too hard to breath. The walls crack as Sooyoung screams for her again.

But, oh, it’s too late. The ceiling falls on the small girl, everything along the flames engulfing the furniture, and eventually the thin body with fire. It hurts, she still has time enough awake for tears to fall down. Then, just then, everything turns black.

Not too far, Sooyoung falls to her knees. She sees what was supposed to be Jungeun’s room; it all burns, flames ending every hope she still had along the wooden structure.

Her heart also burns, as she feels the firefighters' hands dragging her back out of the place falling apart. It's over.

She screams again, her heart shatters and the tears finally fall down her cheeks.

It's over; Sooyoung couldn't even breath, just now noticing how dangerous inhaling so much smoke could be. Her mind foggy with despair, although she can still figure out the voice of said firefighters,

"I'm sorry."

She's dead.

“Ah choo!” A sneeze Haseul knew really well was heard loudly in the second floor, along hurried footsteps. The sneeze was followed by many others, as Vivi went down the stairs holding Mr. Fluffy the farthest as possible from her body. She was almost running, wanting nothing else than to throw that cat through a window.

“I’ll need Hyunjin to come back right now.” Another sneeze, “Or else I’ll die.”

The short haired woman could only laugh at the scene in front of her, and drifting her attention away from her homework, Haseul picked up Mr. Fluffy, pat his head a bit, then put him back on the wooden floor.

“Come on, baby,” She said, looking at the cat fur mess Vivi’s clothes were. (At some point, the red haired woman was supposed to bathe the cat, but it was long forgotten.) Haseul pressed a quick kiss to Vivi’s forehead. “Let’s change those clothes.”

Yeojin knew it was coming, she was nearly eighteen years old already, and her alpha hormones were slowly building up to it's youthful peak. She's quite afraid of what's in store for her - knowing how hard it was for Hyejoo, - she knew first hand, afterall - but it didn't stop Yeojin from feeling kind of excited.

Puberty was known for it's growth spurts and roller-coaster-like emotions, the youngest alpha in the house was only looking forward to the former. Maybe she'd finally outgrow all her unnies - Hyejoo wouldn't call her 'minion' anymore.

Sooyoung had given her a few tips on how to deal with the pain and emotions of the first few days of puberty - scientifically proved the worse ones - but Yeojin didn't quite listen to her unnie, thinking they were all exagerating.

Just, they weren't.

The first night was hell. Yeojin's whole body hurt much she couldn't walk out bed, staying all of the following day on bed. Day three was extremely overwhelming. Living in a house with six omegas proved itself torture when suddenly she could smell everyone's - even the alphas' - scents as if they were all inside her room.

It was a busy week in the dorms, so until the fourth day, no one noticed, or had time to do anything about it, until Haseul knocked slightly on the youngest's door. The lack of a response at 4PM alarmed even Sooyoung, who was watching the omega few feet away. Eventually the couple found the young alpha tearing up a little on the bed, her whole body hurting from the puberty's merciless, constant changes on her body.

At first, Haseul felt like she failed with the younger - she knew how stubborn Yeojin could be, but didn't try keep her in check with the pain suppressants Sooyoung suggested, because of her busy working schedule.

"It's becoming more bearable, isn't it?" The second oldest alpha asks, coming in just after Haseul, a hand on her hips to keep her safe and close. Just in case.

"Yeah," The other alpha meows, crinkling her nose at the strong omega scent of Haseul. "It's better than the other three days."

Sooyoung thinks for a second, "In this case it's not even worth it taking the pills then. It will die out in a few hours..."

The oldest omega was still worried, though, chosing to pat Yeojin in the head while reprimanding her slightly. "If you weren't so stubborn, Yeojinie! You were all this pain for days..."

The blonde alpha smiles a bit, pain still present but slowly being forgotten due to the relaxing presence of the parent-like duo in front of her.

"It's okay! I'm getting better already, unnie!"

Sooyoung is convincend by the words, but still keeps an eye open for the rest of the day and several upcoming ones - she knew it was just the start of the emotional roller-coaster they've experienced with Hyejoo and even Hyunjin already.

When an alpha hits puberty, their body changes and grows either in size, getting taller and "more tough, alpha looking" or just enhancing their strength, protective instinct and dexterity. Through the weeks, Yeojin didn't grow much taller, just a few centimeters, and instead became the fastest alpha of the pack. (She also developed a few other lupine abilities eventually)
