We laugh because it is real

Serious and sometimes

Even awful

But clocked in a joke

It is made palpable

An easier to digest truth

Comedians nights

Allow us to face the uncomfortable

Gathering with our friends

Or family

Laughing uproariously at life’s

Strange truths

We feel better after

Taken what is called

The best medicine

But

We never wonder how the comedian feels

They are facing those hard truths

The things they disguise in jokes for our

Entertainment

Does our laughter

Hide their tears

Our glee

Their pain

Spare a thought or a prayer

For the comedians

At comedian nights

You never know what our laughter costs them.

I’m sick of these old ass celebrities thinking that they can’t bring back their shows, because the new generation will be offended by it. Look here, your show wasn’t good in the 90s or early 2000s. It won’t be good if its rebooted. 

South Park is still on the air. So is Family Guy, The Simpsons, American Dad and so many other offensive shows. You can make offensive comedy. Just don’t run and hide when the other side, tried to come after you. Cause that is what’s really the problem. Ya’ll want to be offensive to someone, but you don’t want that person to stand up for themselves and retaliate. Comedians have become those dumbass Youtubers who harass someone and then scream, “It’s just a prank”, when someone starts swinging on them. 

Just cause you label yourself as a comedian, does not give you open range to say or do whatever you want and not get your ass kicked.
