During the Europesim summit, Napoleon V tried to create a dialogue between the leaders of the Empire of Pierreland (Emperor David) and the Union of Iona (Queen Viviana II). This initiative proved to be of little avail.

(Eloise) Vous considérez que votre petit-fils est une affaire d'état ? Comme ces deux-là qui ne sont pas vos fils ? Pardon ?!

(David) Ils sont mes fils. Felipe par le sang et Edmund par la loi. Et oui, mon petit-fils est devenu une affaire d'État ! Le père n'a pas été informé du fait que vous soyez enceinte ! (Eloise) Comme s'il ne savait pas compter jusqu'à 9...

Veterans Day Celebrations

Members of the Pierreland and Scots Royal Families gathered in their respective capitals to pay tribute to both veterans of their armed forces and those who have passed in the line of duty.

In Edinburgh, Scots King Alexander was joined by his family at the Cenotaph while in Windensen Emperor David and his family were at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior.

In Edinburgh, it is customary for female members of the Royal Family to stand on the balacony on the nearby government building. The usual trio of HM Queen Marie Christine, HM the Queen Mother and HRH Duchess of Argyll were joined by special guest HIH Madame Hortense of Francesim. Meanwhile in Pierreland, almost the entire Imperial was present minus the very noticeable absence of the Grand Duke and Duchesses of Anjou but with the addition of HRH Princess Magadalena of Lunaria, daughter of beloved Pierrelander HRH Crown Princess Minerva of Lunaria. Lunaria and Francesim are both allies of Scots and Pierreland and both guests also had wreaths laid.

The Royal and Imperial Families laid wreaths at their respective monuments before their entire nations held 2 minutes of silence and reflection.

The wreaths will remain at the monuments for as long as possible. In Scots, the wreathes from left to right belong to: HIH Madame Hortense of Francesim, HRH Oliver, Duke of Rothsey, HM the King & HM the Queen.

In Pierreland wreaths are laid in the following order: on the ground from left to right: The Grand Duke & Grand Duchess of Bordeaux, HIH Prince Henri, HIH Crown Prince Louis, HRH Princess Magdalena of Lunaria, HIH Princess Maria Aisha, and Major & Mrs Villa. On top, lay the wreaths of TIM the Emperor and Empress.

Hey, Ayanna. Happy December to you as well. After careful consideration, I have determined my top 5 moments of 2022:

Eleanore and Ibrahim tying the knot on @theroyalsims. After a controversial first engagement between the couple back in Al Simahara, having had it called off, Ibrahim relinquishing his title and Eleanore's being stripped, they went through hell and back, and they finally got their forever I do's. I'm just glad Eleanore reconciled with (almost) all her family in the process.

Niamh and Sebastian from @houseofcameliard. After Niamh was abducted, held hostage, she was rescued by Sebastian. Well long story short, they became a couple and got married. I love those two.

Helena and Cora reconciling in @thegrimalldis. Cora, being the daughter of the late Prince Nicholas (we still miss you, bro!) and Eliza, After her father's death, Cora... well, processed her grief... not so healthily. should say. She ended up being stripped of her titles, and found out she was pregnant. After giving birth to Mere, Helena visited her in the hospital, and they reconciled.

Pandora standing up to Abraxas in @olympianroyals. First off, lemme just say that Abraxas is a complete jackass, and Callista is no better. In fact, I'd say she a snobbish prissy bitch. Any-hooty, back to this scene, Abraxas practically called Sweet Miss Panda, his own granddaughter, a teen whore for carrying her YOUNGER SISTER, Iris, with her after the girls' parents accident, questioning the toddler's paternity as if Pandora was a TEEN MOM!! Wtf.jpg, Abraxas?! Pandora told his dumbass off for that and stormed away. Needless to say, this guy is just a Grade A asshole, and I'm sorry that Pandora, Daphne, and Iris have a grandfather like this. Seriously, fuck him!

And my #1 moment is *drum roll, please*:

NICKY AND MINNIE'S ENGAGEMENT!!! I've been following the collaboration between @simsroyallegacy and @officalroyalsofpierreland since 2020, before I started my own story, but OMFG, I'm so excited to see what the future holds for this couple!!! Well done, you two! And congrats, Nicholas and Minerva!!!!

Honorable Mentions:

From my own story - My gothy hidden princess, Susanna finally giving birth to Linnea. After some distress during the pregnancy and Ekant's near-tragic accident, Linnea was in the breach position and so Sue had to have a c-section, but thankfully, Nea was born without any further complications.

And, Kaya and Michael's Wedding. This wedding, like all mass-collab events, was a bitch to put together, but in the end, it was amazing! Michael is a really good man for Kaya, and he's a good adoptive father to her two kids.

Are you, OfficialRoyalsofPierreland and EmpireDeSimparte aligned with timeline?

Hiya!

I can't speak for if @officalroyalsofpierreland and @empiredesimparte are in the same timeline, but! I know that I've always been an indescript (/slight) amount of time ahead of Francesim. When Charles (Napoleon IV) died was the last time I knew the exact distance, lol- he was written off (canonically, not literally), I think, before summer of 2022, whereas I have always been a "the time/day/season it is irl is when my modern sims are currently existing" girlie. Meanwhile, I know Crown Prince Louis (Valois) is canonically born in like, the 2020s or 30s? Eloise was canonically born in 2000. So, for our own sake, we decided to forego that align the plots we have despite the numbers we decided on over 2/3 years ago, at this point. I've adopted this way of doing things for all my collabs that are post-Viviana I, it allows me to happily collab with my friends.

Crown Princess Mary Investiture

The Princess took to the stage near the end as the cameras were switched back on. The Princess took an oath of service and duty to Albion and her people. Crown Princess Mary will now officially be known as, HRH Crown Princess Mary, Princess of Airmyn and Duchess of Buckden.

Hi there! 1. what’s the last screenshot you’ve taken for your story? - The last screenshot's I took were actually of yesterdays conversation between Henrik and Michael! 7. whats the biggest risk you’ve taken with your story? did it pay off? - I'd say my continues collab with @officalroyalsofpierreland for Michael and Henrik's storyline. When we started it we had no idea if people would fall in love with them like we did! I'm glad you all have seemed to like them! 24. are there any characters who remind you of yourself? - More in gen 3 but yes there's a few. I'd say it's a little impossible not to after all every artist leaves a piece of them in their work. Thank you so much for asking!

Coup de Majesté

A coup de Majesté is a brutal act or order dictated by the monarch, notably to forcibly subdue the beginnings of opposition, or even rebellion or revolt against him, and thus re-establish his authority or power.

Oliver

Age 24.

Born Oliver David Alexander James. He is the son of King Alexander III of Scots & HIH Princess Marie Christine of Pierreland.

He is Hortense's fiancé.

An intelligent, empathetic, passionate yet stubborn young man, he has entered into the heart of the Francesim court with his relationship to HIH Madame Hortense of Francesim, which has had a few mis-steps in the eyes of conservatives who think the young Prince may be a liability to the Imperial Monarchy's god-like veneer.

He is currently preparing for his own wedding celebrations and helping his bride to be prepare for life outside of Francesim. His views on transparency and relaxed attitude put him at odds with his future in laws.

This evening the Windenburg Palace Press Office released photos taken of the christening of HRH Princess Magdalena. The photos include shots from inside Ancastor Cathedral just before the priest performed the ceremony and a portrait taken in the Blue Antechamber in Windenburg Palace, featuring the princess and her parents as well as all of the chosen godparents.
