TRUTH: How do you think your story would be different had you not killed off Richard?

OH BOY

Well, before he died he was already going to be abdicating the throne in favor of Ana, so she would be Queen.

The main thing that I think would be different is the state of relationships and all that, because Richard was one very controlling individual (and he has an entire folder on my Google Drive titled: Richard Needs to Pay Child Support so...).

Elissa would probably still be married to him (societal pressure and whatnot on both of them), Sophie and Eric's relationship might be super strained because Richard was planning on marrying Sophie to Henry Gathen Jr., and poor Ben would probably still be stuck with Olivia.

Unfortunately, my original sims computer gave out on me shortly after Richard died and Ana became Queen, so I haven't really gotten a good chance to play around with it and see what would be different (other than Richard being a total dick to the people he supposedly loves).

Hmmm... one of my favorite moments between Elissa and Lucas? I'm not sure. I don't think I've shown him at all yet, so I can't say, but there's definitely a few BTS scenes featuring the two of them coming up that I'm looking forward too!

Being able to communicate their feelings and emotions about something without being judged

Supporting each other on bad days and celebrating each other on good days

Laughing together

Comfortable silence

Is any of your characters, old, new and future, going to die before they're 50 years old? (I hope it's a no, I love your characters, and even if I hated Richard, I still didn't want him to die like that 😅)

There’ll be one character (in the very far off future, idk if I’ll even get to that character, but knowing me I’ll get attached and keep going) that will die before they’re 50 years old, but none of the other present and future characters will die before the age of 50.

5. On an average day, what can be found in your character's pockets?

Her phone is typically the main thing she has in her pockets. A pair of wireless BT earbuds as a just-in-case measure if she gets overstimulated and maybe a couple pieces of candy too

17. What was your character's favorite toy as a child?

Okay so I had this when I was a kid so naturally Ana has to have had it to: Disney dolls (or Simblr's equivalent). I know that I had two Belles (One of whom's hair I undid for reasons I don't remember), 1 Jasmine in a purple outfit from the early 00s Disney Store, 1 Aurora and the Twinkling Lights Cinderella Doll from 2004. (I still have the Jasmine, Aurora and Cindy, but the Cindy doesn't work anymore)

27. How does your character normally deal with confrontation?

Because Richard was her father, she's had a LOT of experience dealing with confrontation and she's currently arguing like hell with a certain representative (and winning) so she's pretty good about confrontation because her previous experiences. She doesn't really resort to confrontation because of her position but if it's something that's really, really, REALLY important for the country or for Ana, then she can get very confrontational.

Hmmm….

Vogue: Probably Gianna. Maybe Alex, Beatrice or Alice, but Gia’s definitely appeared a couple times. Elissa appeared on a cover in her pre-Queen years, after Ana was born but before Michael was conceived so like… 2012?

Isabel, Katherine and Claire were also definitely on some covers, but Isabel was on it ONCE before she and Dante got engaged and she became pregnant with Tom, Katherine was on it maybe three times before the twins were born and Claire’s on it once every couple of years. Ana's appeared twice, but the second time was to mark her coronation/accession to the throne, but she prefers the 1st time.

Sports Illustrated: Dante is the member/former member of the family who actually has been on the cover, but Chandler's pretty likely to appear for like... rugby or something. He's been on the cover like... 4 or 5 times because he's a pretty accomplished equestrian who still rides daily and is starting to get back into it competitively now that his work has calmed down a bit.

Time: Ana's the most recent royal to appear in Time magazine. It's mostly monarchs, consorts and heirs who've appeared, but Richard never did, so it was Elissa and Eliza who appeared during Richard's reign. Douxie hasn't appeared yet, but he'll probably make his debut at some point.

People: Yes.

Honestly, who hasn't appeared on People (or my equivalent(s) of it) yet outside of like... future spouses or kids that aren't born yet. Most often it's Ana+Douxie, Elissa, Kris, Cece, Alice, Sophie+Eric and Michael+Thalia. It's really not uncommon to see like... Richard and Elissa's kids on the cover somewhere but if you see Alex or Leonora on the cover than you know that something's happening.

Forbes: Isabel appeared so frEAKing often when she was alive because she was not at all hesitant about showing off her money. Coincidentally, now the people who appear on it the most are Elissa and pretty soon, Charles

Women’s Health: It's been Claire for the last little bit, but Katherine will start making her appearances on the cover soon!

Men’s Health: Jim. Just Jim. No one else. Jim.

US Weekly: Same as People.

Hmmm...

I'm proud of my most recent story post and the build that it's in. I was so happy cause I built the lot and did screenshots within something like... 2 hours? Hopefully I can do it again with the next post that happens 2 days later...

There's also this post with Ben that breaks my heart every time I look at it (not for much longer tho, I'm giving my boy some happiness).

How do your characters react to criticism?

Hmm...

Ana reacts to criticism calmly because she's just so used to it, regardless of where it comes from because she's used to it coming from both the press (pretty infrequent but it did happen) and also from within her family. The only person that might break her is Douxie, but he would never critcize her.

Douxie is far more used to constructive criticism than he is outright criticism because of his years as an actor. He's also used to just regular criticism but he reacts to it well.

Elissa is not a fan of criticism at all. She got enough of it from her mother, sister and husband so if anyone criticizes her, she will explode on them.

Ben is very, very sensitive to criticism and if he gets any, he will burst into tears (I don't blame you dude). Fortunately, Ana has no criticisms for him so he doesn't really get any in person from her and his security and staff are under STRICT orders (from Ana, not Ben) to hide or physically cover any criticism of Ben that's in the press (not that there's any).

Hi!

I'm going to do Elissa, because I haven't done her yet and I’m working on my next story post that HEAVILY features my Queen:

Elissa really enjoys hosting parties. Like, she really, really enjoys them. She can't really throw the huge parties she used to be able to throw at her current residence (Lyne Priory), but as soon as Alice is done with school, she's packing up and moving into Landfarm so she can throw a proper party.

She's sort of suspected that something with Richard was kind of... off(?) while they were dating and then after Sophie was born, but she's never quite been able to put her finger on what exactly it is...

Elissa is very at home horseback riding. She rode competitively for a few years, and she won a couple of ribbons, but she mostly rode as a hobby and stopped because she just wasn’t feeling it anymore and also because Clara forced her too. She still rides (Dante, Duke of Angers and his wife are her riding buddies), but not as often. 

 Her favorite grandkid is Arielle. She loves all of her grandbabies, but she has a very soft spot for Arielle (mostly because her father is... a character) 

Elissa’s doesn’t have favorite kids, but she does have kids that she’s not as worried about, which right now is almost all of them. The only one she’s not SUPER worried about right now is Michael, but she’s still keeping an eye on him because of... um... some potential things that might be happening
