I started writing in the CMBYN fandom late in 2019 and finished my first fic in 2020 (Flo’s Shows). I first watched and wrote for Good Omens in 2020. It’s been a hell of a hellish year and fandom and writing has been one of my outlets. Fandom doesn’t exist without people and there are so many who have come into my life this year as I (essentially) entered two new fandoms. The problem with lists (when one cannot consult AO3 for reference) is I’m bound to leave someone out. So please know this is an incomplete list. I do want to thank those who’ve encouraged me, cheered me on, dragged me along when I was stumbling, and have just provided a place to talk and vent and laugh (oh my gosh the laughs!). A10, Who did you have your first fanfic-related conversation with? What was it about?

I wanna say it was probably @elleflies, since it was waaaaaaaaay back in the Buffy years and we’re both dinosaurs now.

B10. What is the best plot twist you’ve ever seen?

I can’t remember the last time I read a fic that was really plotty in a way that allowed for unexpected twists, if that makes sense. I feel like that was maybe something I maybe sought out more in early reading days in fandom days of yore.

C8. What is one plot twist you wish people would stop using?

D8. Which fandoms do you read fic for?

I have never been able to multifandom, so I really just stick to what I’m into at the time and as soon as something new grabs my attention, I pick up my things and go. Right now, it’s Elio/Oliver CMBYN, and Timmy/Armie RPF stuff. If an old Stucky fic I’m still subscribed to updates, I’ll sometimes dip in, but not like I used to.

Also I'd kind of want a complete list of C3s unless I've already filled my quota of qs with those first four haha (C3: Is there anything that makes you nope out of a story? What is it?)

Oh, jeez, this list is... so endless. My AO3 Savior is actually a savior. Um... off the top of my head: Pet names/epithets of any and all kinds, excessive weeping/crying, A/B/O, Mpreg, most kink!fic, OOC characters, angst without a happy ending, most kid!fic, most threesomes (I literally only care about the pairing I’m shipping), self inserts, song fic, podfic, demonizing characters/people unnecessarily, gen!fic (again, I’m really just here for the pairing), crossovers, ..... a bunch of random AU-themes (vampires, fantasy, medieval, sci-fi, etc - it would have to be really amazing for me to get into it and also have like... nothing from the above list), A COMPLETE LACK OF PARAGRAPH BREAKS, um....

There are probably more, but it would just be so specific and at this point you’re probably wondering how I actually read anything so I’ll stop now.

Chapter 16 ♥

It was early enough for the beach not to be littered with families yet, the only noise coming from the restaurant further up and the seagulls on the rocks, screaming for no apparent reason. They’d gone down before sunrise, because - as Timmy had so eloquently put it - they were on vacation for a reason and if you had something to celebrate, you’d better not do it halfway. As it turned out, that meant watching the sun come up, having mimosas for breakfast and starting the day with sex. Armie wasn’t complaining.

“Timmy,” Armie laughed, taking the hand that was now aggressively tugging on his zipper in both of his. “I was in the army for years. I know a thing or two about dealing with intense situations.”

After their explosive break-up, Armie and Timmy are trying to work together to help their friends, but it isn't without any obstacles. They're both too stubborn to make the first move to initiate an adult conversation, so... they don't talk. Except for when they fight. Attempting to navigate their work relationship around the elephant in the room proves to be difficult, and Armie makes a rash decision in order to resolve that problem, but is it the right decision, or will it cause trouble for both of them? Are Harry and Louis able to help, or will their meddling only drive the boys further apart? And what is up with Zayn Malik? Is he really out for Louis' money, or is there more to this story?

Armie learns that Timmy is making a name for himself and it completely throws him off balance. Timmy finally sees a chance to let loose and Armie needs to deal with that knowledge, amongst other things that come back to haunt him. He doesn't do such a good job.

Armie and Timmy reach a more peaceful stage in their rekindling relationship, which causes Timmy to find back his confidence at work as well. His joy is short-lived, however, when earlier choices come back to bite him in the ass.
