I just read the Infernal Devices in less than a week and wow. wow. I did not expect to love it that much. And I have to say... 

  My favorite relationship by far was that of Will and Jem. They were absolutely wonderful. I loved how they interacted. I love how close they were, no matter what. I love that they saved each other.

   "Will? Is that you Will?"

  "Jem? Is that you James?"

  Like, holy crap. It broke my heart. I seriously went though half a box of issues with Clockwork Princess. and then!

  "No," Jem said softly. He drew his jacket aside and took a knife from the belt at his waist. "Don't be ordinary like that. Don't say you're sorry. Say you'll train with me."

  Even from the very beginning Jem knew how to handle him. He was the only one who could. Can I just cry over them for ever?

"For what it's worth, I don't think Will could fight in that dress either."

"Perhaps not," said Will. "But I would make a radiant bride."

Jem shook his head. "I cannot ask you to do something that goes against your conscience."

 "My conscience," Will whispered. "You are my conscience. You have ever been, James Carstairs."

"You saved my life," Will had said. 

  A smiled had spread across Jem's face as brilliant as the sundise breaking over Thames."That is all  I ever wanted."

  "Much of it was-"

"Gibberish?" Jem suggested.

 "Pornographic?" said Will at the same time.

"Could be both," said Will. "Haven't you ever heard of pornographic gibberish before?" Jem grinned and Charlotte put her face in her hands.

  Jem smiled at him, that smile that always, even on Wil's blackest days, eased his mind. "I think there is hope for you yet, Will Herondale."

  "I will try to learn how to have it without you to show me."

Dear Infernal Devices Fandom,

The third and final book of the series will be released in a day. I know emotions are running high and we are living the Harry Potter stress all over again. A series is finishing, it is coming to an end. Whatever our canons, it is guaranteed we will be overwhelmed with feels. But my dear  shadowhunter family,

"Let the skyfall,

when it crumbles,

we will stand tall,

and face it all together at skyfall"

I think this song perfectly represents our current situation.  But whatever happens I just want to say thank you guys for making this experience so worthwhile. Thank you for posting crying gifs about your TID feels. Thank you for pestering Cassie for spoilers with me and crying over little snippets. I feel so honoured to be a part of this fandom. I honestly do. I know this isn't goodbye, because we still have to rant over our opinions on the ending, however, when I close the cover of the book there is going to be no more anticipation or excitement. We will always reminisce, but never live 1878 London again. Perhaps in rereads, but never like the first time. 

So when you are reading clockwork princess my dear shadowhunters, remember the thousands of people around the world who you have never met, however shared this experience with. Think about how we have and are still enduring together. That people are in the same situation as you.

What I am trying to say is do not forget about each other. Being a part of a fandom is the most rewarding experience and I want to hold on to that. Because most of the time guys, even if I don't know you personally, you are the only ones who understand me.
