I'm in #caseyillinois today the small town with BIG things and apparently BIG #computerproblems 😂 A customer called saying that his kids computer would lock up as soon as they would log in to Windows but it starts up like it's fine. I've seen this before and Since it's inconvenient for him to come to me of course I'll come to you just one of the many perks of doing business with GEFNET. After looking at the computer as suspected the computer was getting locked up by background processes some #malware and other nefarious programs were running the CPU & disk activity at full throttle basically choking the system out. Suspect

Yoni Barrios, 32, was booked into Clark County Detention Center on two counts of murder and six counts of attempted murder, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said in a statement. It was not immediately clear whether Barrios had an attorney who could speak on his behalf. Barrios, who does not live in Las Vegas, was arrested by Sands security guards and Metropolitan Police officers while running on a sidewalk on the Strip, police said.

"This was an isolated case," Metropolitan Police Deputy Chief James LaRochelle said in a statement. "All evidence points to Barrios acting alone and there are no outstanding suspects at this time." Police said they are continuing to investigate the reason, but do not believe there was an altercation before the attacks. The Clark County Coroner's Office identified the slain victims as Brent Allan Hallett, 47, and Maris Mareen Digiovanni, 30, who both reside in Las Vegas. The names of those injured in the attack were not immediately released. The first stabbing happened for no reason and on the east sidewalk of Las Vegas Boulevard. The suspect then went south and stabbed other people, LaRochelle said. The man escaped and was followed by 911 callers before being taken into custody, authorities said. Police recovered the "large, long-bladed knife" that was allegedly used, LaRochelle said, calling the case "a hard-to-understand murder investigation." There were no other suspects in the case and "the Strip is safe," Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said.

Witnesses

Witnesses told Las Vegas TV stations that some of the victims appeared to be showgirls or street performers taking pictures with tourists on the Strip. The suspect told a woman he was a chef who wanted to take a picture with some of the showgirls with his knife but started stabbing people when the group declined the man's offer, the woman told KTNV. Jason Adams told KLAS he witnessed the attack on a showgirl. "This guy came and ran and started stabbing this lady in front of me and she was running around the escalators trying to get under the bridge and her girlfriend was trying to help her," Adams said, adding that the attack happened very quickly. Pierre Fandrich, a Canadian tourist, told KTNV he did not see the stabbed suspect as he walked down the Strip. But he said he thought he heard "three or four showgirls laughing," and it turns out they were screaming. Fandrich said he saw "lots of blood" as a woman ran across a bridge, one knocked down and another stabbed in the back trying to help the fallen woman. Fandrich also told KTNV that he believed one of the victims fell off the bridge because there was so much blood on the ground. Democratic Gov. Steve Sisolak posted a message on social media saying, "Our hearts go out to everyone affected by this tragedy." “At the state level, we will continue to work with law enforcement partners to provide on-the-ground resources to ensure the Las Vegas Strip remains a safe and welcoming place for everyone,” said Sisolak. Usually on Christmas day and Easter my mom and I go hiking instead of doing to much with relatives, they’re some of my favorite memories with my mom. Last Christmas we went to an old esker remnant and to Gallagher fen, this time we stayed in due to -10 F winter vortex blast fun time.  Far too cold for us.

The history of this tree is it was a massive road marker tree that was never logged. It holds up a considerable amount of the hillside and has a classic crown, fully developed. sheltered by wind and too much cold. Micro-climates are great for providing refuge and the tree is also preserved in the park, a SNP, for hopefully many years to come. The age is theorized to be well into it’s 300′s now and is considered one of the oldest trees in greene county. It remains one of my favorite white oak trees and I might even hold it higher in my heart than the spring grove cemetery white oak.
