One of the most irritating things in the goddamn world is the way some of my Cis Ally™ friends will get into fights with transphobes on public social media posts, which then forces me to have to see the transphobia in my feed. I've just seen it happen yet again on Facebook, but it happens across pretty much every platform--public Facebook threads, Tumblr reblogs, Twitter quote-tweets, TikTok stitches/duets, all that shit.
You're not "owning" anyone with your Cis Ally™ memes and drag queen gifs. You're just making me, a trans person, have to see a lot of bullshit transphobia that I wouldn't otherwise be exposed to because of how tightly I curate my feed.
It doesn't help me, a trans person, to see you responding with RuPaul and Trixie Mattel gifs to people talking about degenerate trannies. It just makes me have to see the posts where people are calling us degenerate trannies. And I'd really love you to explain how that is making my life any better as a trans person.

The Complex Misogyny Enacted by Queer Men
Call outs: James Somerton, Trixie Mattel, Katya, Le'Ron Readus, The Roundtable, Rupaul, Karl Lagerfeld, Dolce and Gabana
With the James Somerton scandal, although I only watched some of his videos in passing, it has definitely made me make sure to be more vigilant about the content I consume and how they source.
I also want to address James' misogyny, something that tragically isn't unique to him. The "straight girl" scapegoat many queer men target has bothered me for a long time. They try to frame it in a way that is "punching up" at the privileged but their problem is entirely against them being women. Trixie Mattel has a habit of complaining about "straight" girls that has put me off, especially when her complaints are incredibly presumptuous and small minded. We wouldn't know random women's sexuality yet we choose to assume they're straight so we can openly ridicule them. Even if these women are straight, the problems queer men levy towards them doesn't so much call out any discriminatory behavior as it is shaming women for what they think is "shrill", "annoying", or just for sharing a space with them.
I recall an episode of UNHhhh where Trixie and Katya said how straight people are guests in queer spaces and in the same way, they can be "uninvited". Even though they use a gender neutral term here, we know that the bulk of straight people who attend queer events are women. In the same way that queer spaces are a safe space for gay men, it's also a safe space for women who want to avoid sexual advancements and sexual violence. Gay men overlook women's issues and needs when they find their presence inconvenient despite women posing little threat to them.
I've also seen the way queer men target queer women when they feel like they've been benefiting more than them. James Somerton, La'Ron Readus, and Tom from The Roundtable have all argued how the ratio of wlw representation in media compared to mlm is due to favouritism towards wlw relationships. This is a pure assumption, at the point they made this argument, we never heard of a canon mlm relationship being shot down by TV or movies and the accusers provided no examples of such, just that wlw representation has been making a breakthrough at the time thanks to the vehement pushing of its writers and show creators. It has nothing to do with preferences for wlw relationships as these studios have tried to stop it and still push back against it to "appeal to a broad audience". It just so happens that the queer creatives who have made waves for representation wanted to represent queer femmes, most identifying closely with sapphic experiences. To underestimate the amount of discrimination these queer creators got for getting wlw representation out there by assuming they have some type of privilege over queer CIS men is grossly ignorant. Although mlm representation is important, it's upsetting to see queer men look at wlw representation and respond with jealousy, unknowing of how queerness already centralizes them. RuPaul's Drag Race, for example, was only allowed for CIS men before trans women were recognized as legitimate drag performers, many of the "CIS" contestants turning out to be trans women. Drag kings still have not made any appearances on the show and are still overlooked and undervalued in the Drag community.
Even though queer men cry for their turn when it comes to something like queer representation in the media (even though it exists, they just have a problem with women having more than them), they don't bat an eye in the way queer men dominate places like the fashion industry that heavily discriminate against women (Karl Lagerfeld and Dolce and Gabana being infamously misogynistic). They also wince at gay shipping culture and mlm representation when it's created by women, accusing them of fetishism, something I've been guilty of in the past. Although, there's an understandable desire for mlm content that is also written by queer men and discomfort about women being voyeurs in gay fiction, we're also assuming these women aren't queer themselves or that they even identify as women. Love Simon's author, Becky Albertalli was forced to come out as bisexual after years of scrutiny for being a "straight woman profiting off of queer romance".
"I legitimately didn't realize. I'm thirty-seven years old. I've been happily married to a guy for almost ten years. I have two kids and a cat. I've never kissed a girl. I never even realized I wanted to. But if I rewind further, I'm pretty sure I've had crushes on boys and girls for most of my life. I just didn't realize the girl crushes were crushes."
There is an oversight on how many people divulge in queer fiction in order to explore their sexuality and gender long before they even consider that they could be queer themselves (I know that was my experience). But even with straight women, many of them are actually drawn to gay fiction because it subtracts women from the equation. Female characters are subject to sexist tropes and many of their romances are imbalanced and toxic. Gay fiction has been a way for women to enjoy romance without feeling the weight of patriarchy through femme-presenting characters.
All this to say that misogyny is still fervent in the queer community and queer men do not get a pass on how they talk about and treat women. I noticed that the most privileged of the queer community, that being White CIS gay men, are the ones who act the most entitled in the queer spaces they enter, not the "straight" women they constantly antagonize. Queer men still struggle with what all men struggle with and that's acknowledging their privileges. Even if they swear their problem with women is because of their sexuality, it really ends up coming down to their gender.

Hello I’m a cis artist and I kind of want to do some nude art of trans women because I’m tired of seeing people be so weird about the idea of a woman having a penis, but I don’t know if that’s okay because I’m cis. Like is it weird or offensive for me as a cis person to be making nude art of trans women? Is that something that would make trans women uncomfortable?
hello, good question! (:
i don't think it would make anyone uncomfortable, no! if u think that trans women look good as they are n want to represent women w/ penises, i highly recommend doing it! it helps normalize trans bodies, especially if u are respectful, and nude art isn't inherently bad or disrespectful. i think its good to want to normalize the fact that folks have all kinds of different bodies. it's not rude at all, and is in fact very good to hear that you also don't think women having penises is weird
i think u are on the right track with wanting to do this type of art. if u are seeking to normalize the fact that some women have penises, that's a rly good goal. i don't think this is overstepping a boundary just because u are cis. u can always ask for feedback along the way to make sure u are representing people in respectful ways in ur art, as well
i think this would be very cool! hope you get to express that! good luck! thx for reaching out! xoxo Trixi

OK since I had some nice returns about the height hc I wanted to share with you some of my other Hc!! (it get a bit long)
- Robbie / Glanni are faes (principaly due to Bound, that fic have been engraved in my soul) and also are two different person
- Robbie took care of the kids before Sportacus was around and have taught them about their special interest (Trixie and pranks/mischief; Pixel and love for gadget/tech and all; Stingy.... Stinginess; Ziggy and finding comfort in sweets, also Robbie made him that super hero suit)
-Latabæ and Lazytown are two different towns, and Latabæ is in iceland
-there is a Jives and Penny counter part in Lazytown but they are older and away to university. They still love to play with the kids
- Latabæ kids gang are teens while Lazytown kids gang is well, kids (/ almost preteen)
- ìþrott is older than Sportacus by a few years, and they aren't related by blood. They still view each other as Brothers tho. Also ìþrott passed down the number 10 title to him (will explain this more if asked)
- Àfram Latabæ Íþróttaálfurinn and Glanni Glæpur Í Latibær Íþróttaálfurinn are the same, he got badly made fun of by Glanni and after fighting the bitch away from Lazytown decided to get a makeover bc he indeed was a bit out of style.... Not that Glanni finds it better (except the abs)
- Glanni is a real menace that's holding back o' taking the world bc like Robbie, he's too much of a softy but won't admit it. (doesn't stop him from being a wanted criminal that have done heinous crimes but he had arguably good reason, as much as a morally gray flamboyant vilain can)
- Robbie and Glanni are distantly related blood wise but Glanni took care of Robbie most of his childhood and make sure he wouldn't take the same road as him in Villainy. (in love with this one, I love secretly soft vilains)
- Robbie is nb/ Agender, just doesn't give a single fuck about pronouns or gender, Glanni is identifying as man but like she/her and dressing either hyper masc or hyper flamboyant, pink and feathers and fur everywhere, glitters in his pockets and strass on his gun
- Sportacus is cis he/him a'd confident enough to wear a dress and make up even if it's rare / for his traditions as an elf (he like it tho bc it's comfy and fun to move around in a dress) Íþróttaálfurinn is the same, and often have his nails painted and likes to help the girls with their hair
That's the most I could think of hard enough to materialise in words!!
(it's 2am when I'm writing this, I'll probably upload it way later wand I'm sure I could come up with more tbh they probably seem too logical to me rn to not be canon)
PLS PLS PLS don't even hesitate to ask me about your headcanons so we can talk about them I love that!! It's more than alright to judge my hc even if I think they are pretty basic, but I don't think I'll change my mind about them (I'll hear you out still tho!)
OK last blorb, if you have ocs you can also message / ask / pm about them and info dump on me I would LOVE to hear about them.
Tbh usually I get in fandoms along with some friends, and I love plotting / playing / drawing [with] our ocs. So tell me if you would be fine with it, it would be immensely fun to populate the towns with our silly characters and watch them interact.
Alright, stole enough of your time now, thank you if you read this far! I really like the community here and hope to interact a bit more with all of you nice people, Have a nice time out there ✨✨

Cervidae (A.K.A. Trixie in TFBW)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Ignore the thumbs up, as I drew this concept on a math test scratch paper) More below!
Race: Partially Canadian Wendigo
Sex/Gender: Aromantic Cis Female
Alignment: Neutral
Religion: Atheist
Power source: Diet of humans, or anything bipedal
Kryptonite: Fire
Miscellaneous fact: She isn't really in any superhero franchise, yet she participates in any meeting that's going on when there's no crime available. Donning a gray cloak, she simply watches what they talk about. Of course, both sides know of her presence, but decide not to acknowledge her, as she doesn't seem to come in harm.
I'll post more info, but if you have questions, leave them in the comments so I can answer.

i love drag but its so hard to enjoy it sometimes because so many popular queens are just... kinda awful. rupaul has apparently apologized for his transphobia but its hard to believe any apology a celebrity gives, especially when you toss in the oil fracking. sharon needles and alaska pulled that swastika shit and apparently sharon is also just an overall horrendous person and id expect to find out the same of alaska if i had the mental energy to read about that. while i was watching old videos of trixie and katya, katya made a blatant fucking blood libel "joke", and while searching around to see if anyone had ever commented on that, i found out trixie did a look mimicking anne frank. i know the drag scene doesnt revolve around RPDR and celebrities dont represent the entire community but it feels like most drag fans are mainly into the mainstream queens like these and its... concerning. and alienating. i dont want bigotry, i dont want to constantly be expecting to hear that another queen has done something shitty, i want to just fucking have fun and be queer. not to mention the way so many fans echo rupauls sentiments of binarism and boxes and all that, the idea that drag is just cis gay men trying to see who can look the most convincingly like a cis woman. like tell me how the queerphobe boot tastes

platonique radio dust friend thots
1. I am choosing to ignore the canon where Angel and Alastor barely interact because they should be friends! This blog's Allie IS FRIENDS with her local Angel! Not like, soul-bearing BESTIES, but they are chaos friends who do Shenanigans. As it should be!
2. Back when Both of them were alive, there wasn't really a distinction between trans women + gay men (and there certainly wasn't one between gay men vs bi men, but that's more Alexa-relevant than Allie-relevant.)
I will live for & die for them being friends who Recognize each other as being like... not The Same, but close!
And now that her powers are nuked and she actually has to use analog ways to alter her appearance (like, she actually has to wear actual makeup if she wants makeup on her face, she can't just illusion it up for the day LMAO) I love the thot of her & her local Angel sitting next to each other like drag queens in a dressing room, kvetching Trixie & Katya style. And using extremely specific intracommunity lingo that the others don't get!!
Also her local Angel DID say "I can suck your dick" when they met but NOT bc she's trans & he made an assumption about her anatomy & decided to be bothersome. He read her as a tomboyish futchy cis lady and was clowning on her. Because SHE STARTED IT with "what can YOU do, my TWINKY HOME OF SEXUAL?" (y'all know damn well what canon Alastor meant by effeminate fellow) so he CLAPPED BACK! Like girl how are you gonna come @ me for being a girly dude when you're a tomboyish futchy lady. Get it together. We are both gnc. (It Was A Misunderstanding and they are Friends Now)

Lrb is so real like genuinely i have Trixie Mattel and Disasterina and Victoria E Black to thank for actually giving me motivation to pursue joy in femininity?? Like idk storytime ig but for the longest time ive been iding as Nonbinary bc Binary Gender’s been a big like. Thing i dont rlly know how to rlly make peace with from a postmodernist pov, but drag queens have shown me a whole different side to like. Feminine opulence and femininity for its own, fun sake instead of having to be this mask you wear to get people to recognise you. Like. Idk if this makes sense but seeing Men. Who like to pretend to be their favorite kind of women just for the heck and fun of it and do performance with those personas it made me realise that you dont need to be 100% super serious about your connection to being a “””woman””” to be transfem. And ofc ty transfem bloggers for talking abt your experiences bc ive found myself genuinely somewhere in between. Im not binary but im not a cis crossdresser either, im somewhere, at some weird point in between

pretty sure a "boob suit" is a fake silicone torso you can put of that comes complete with breasts used often by drag queens. specifially i've seen trixie mattel and katya wear them on the youtube show they both star in. not only is it a performance piece, similar to an actors facial prosthetic, its also available in a male form and i've seen female cosplayers use it when dressing as a male character. never once have i heard of a trans person using this cumbersome, hot, expensive, sweat inducing piece of costuming to alleviate gender dysphoria. (if anyone has all power to you as i couldn't wear that thing for over an hour).
Goes to show how little ter/fs know about trans people.
So much of it is assuming we *need* makeup, wigs, prosthetics, etc.
I mean, a padded bra is a time-tested alternative used by cis women for generations.
