rotating the idea of a Jalph soulmate AU inside my head

but not a traditional fix-it soulmate AU where they find each other and immediately fall in love and all is well that goes well. What about that "first words are tattooed somewhere on their body" AU where Ralph has "Where's the man with the trumpet?" on his arm and Jack has "There's no man with a trumpet. Only me." on his leg.

What if they meet each other for the first time and they're friends. What if Jack betrays Ralph and they start hating the words on them. What if Ralph covers his arm with mud and Jack his leg with blood. They're hesitant to clean up when they're on the boat back home. During future confrontations their eyes wander and they meet gazes and just know what the other's thinking : what if we could have made it work?

It's the 1950s so obviously they're not thinking about being in a relationship. Maybe the media normalises platonic soulmates. Maybe not; maybe their parents told them they'd better have female soulmates or else. Maybe after their first meeting, Ralph looks at his arm every now and then and feels a deep discomfort in his stomach but he tells himself it's fine as long as they're on the island because nobody's going to bother them about it. Maybe Jack starts wearing longer pants after the island because his father found out and started hassling him about finding the girl who'd speak about a trumpet, however strange she may sound.

And maybe then they're back in school and undergoing therapy (probably not cause the 1950s were yikes about mental health but it'd nice to think about) they see their soulmarks and the feeling of longing from before the island comes back. "If only I could find them I'd be whole" turns to "If only I'd handled it better". They wish it could have worked. They wish they could have stayed friends. If only it had gone differently. Right person wrong time. Because if they're soulmates obviously their souls are going to feel like something's missing their whole lives now that they've found each other and they're apart, so add to that the PTSD and whatever else is going on inside their heads, the poor boys will not be having a good time.

Maybe Jack feels the pull of the hunt after the island (because I personally headcanon that he's lived pretty repressed beforehand due to his strict parents and the island gave him freedom he's never had before; the hunt was an amalgamation of all the stress that comes from having an overbearing successful Father with a capital F melting off his bones) AND the pull of the soul. Maybe he meets people with fair hair and the most gorgeous smile and he wants to vomit because he remembers the blood on his hands. Maybe Ralph is trying to socialise at school and he sees parts of Jack in everyone he meets. Maybe Ralph tells himself to shut up about his missing half, he doesn't have it that bad, just look at Simon and Piggy and the mulberry kid! at least he's not dead! (don't do that kids. that's a horrible coping mechanism. seek professional help) and still he goes to church and hears the choir and wonders if Jack still sings.

i’m reading a book called lord of the fly fest by goldy moldavsky and it is. literally a lotf au and i love it so much

it’s about a group of teens, a mix of musicians, influencers, and fans, who are stranded on a tropical island after a trending music gathering called fly fest turns out to be a scam

the main character is rafi (ralph), who has a podcast and is currently investigating whether musician river stone killed his girlfriend. she is wandering in the woods when she meets peggy (piggy), a non binary techie who is the only one able to figure out how to access wi-fi (the specs)

rafi has a microphone (the conch) and calls everyone together on the beach. there she meets many other kids, including twins paul and ryan (sam and eric)

then, the dangerously self absorbed influencer crowd shows up (the choir) lead by queer makeup artist and all around asshole jack dewey (jack obvy). he, rafi, and river go explore the island while peggy keeps track of the others.

next, rafi meets sierra madre (simon) a beauty influencer thought of as the prettiest person ever with a strange but sweet personality. she quietly assures rafi it will all be okay because everything will always turn out good and gives rafi a flower crown. sierras a bit looks-focused but is still kind:

it took me a while to figure out who rivers lotf equivalent is, but as soon as rafi saw him brutally gutting a fish in the dead of night i knew he was roger. he acts very roger-y as well.

other cool little details:

-greer (percival). they are greer at the first meeting, smaller than the rest, and always crying about something. she wants her villa, she wants her vegan sandwich, she wants her mom, she’s worried all the time, etc

-instead of painting their faces with blood, jack wannabies cover themselves with his beauty products which i think is silly

-peggy is highly revered and respected for their ability to get wi-fi, but jack and his gang eventually break into their tent and steal their router (stealing the specs)

-sierra does not die like simon, but goes missing, and rafi suspects jack and/or river killed him

-in a nod to jack merridews hunting obsession, jack says “are you saying there are wild hogs on this island? if i wanted to party with wild hogs, i would have gone to my cousin lionel’s seventh birthday party”

-in the first scene with the influencers, one of them passes out, and jack says “probably from secondhand embarrassment”

so. basically.

this book is really cool so far because. its literally lotf. it’s an interesting au as well?? like rafis one of the only people who isn’t a very stuck up influencer. it was written in 2022 so it has commentary on gen z culture, social media pros and cons, the pandemic, and good queer rep. it also stays true to the dangerous nature of children that lotf has, just with less murder lmao.

i really recommend this book to the lotf fandom in general!! i got it at my local library but i’m sure you can find a free audiobook version or get it online.

-born december 4th (idk what year to put) -brilipino (british and filipino (lovely term created by @draweronly)) -autistic and epileptic, didn't take any meds for it making his epilepsy worse, usually his seizures are just passing out or a limb shaking/spasming -"gifted" kid, but didn't have all A's (he had like C's and D's) -simons dad was abusive and abused simon and his mom, but then left after his mom kicked him out -gay, but pushed those feelings down until about right before the island and just thought "every boy has had a crush on a male friend rightttt, or felt this way, maybe it's a special friendship-" -jack forced him into the choir because simon "looked like a choir boy" -loves his mom very much, they have a really strong bond, and his mom also knows that simon is gay

Sorry if this comes off as rude because I totally do NOT mean it that way, but I'm just curious, how did you get to shipping so many of the boys? A lot of the characters you ship are characters I don't remember a single thing about (like, ones who aren't sort of the central 7 biguns), so I'm interested in hearing about them !!

OOOOH HELLO! i adore this question hee hee because i get to ramble!

so i’ve described why i ship mauram recently, but i’m totally happy to do it again! basically, when i joined the fandom, the main maurice ship was roger x maurice. however, it just made me a little uncomfortable to ship them together because it reminded me of a past relationship i had with someone and that sort of thing steered me away from it. BUT i noticed that the twins and maurice were portrayed as “jokesters” with similar personalities. i ended up picking sam because he has always been the sweeter, more docile twin in my mind and i thought that would work PERFECT with maurice, who thrives off of a go with the flow vibe. he could give maurice the love he never had type of thing!

for bill x piggy, i’m ngl it was a mistake that started this ship. i THOUGHT that bill was the hunter that stayed the longest (up until the “party” that jack threw) with ralph and piggy, but it’s actually henry. however, while i was being delulu, i was like oh wouldnt it be cool if bill stayed so long because he had built a relationship with piggy when ralph wasn’t around, and helped around the camp doing little things to gain piggy’s friendship. and so they became a ship for me too! like the sort of vibe that is “even if everybody else hates you, i still see good in you.”

robric is,,,,, interesting…. i gave sam and maurice a pairing, so i didn’t want to leave eric hanging? i felt like he needed SOMEONE, and i’ve always been a huge fan of robert’s character. i knew he was a hunter and i knew that he had a more naïve personality (there’s a scene where the hunters literally try and kill him and he’s like ‘ow that hurt :D’). so his happy go lucky vibe countered the more protective vibe i had assigned to eric (bc he’s the older twin, so he is responsible). and eventually he became ralph’s half brother in my au which DEFINITELY solidified the idea of older brother x younger brother’s best friend which is such a good cutesy trope. and also robert would defend eric if the choir ever tried to pull shit because that’s his brothers bestie yknow? i rlly love them 😭😭

most of my other ships were pulled out of my ASS. perciberry is just,,, childhood best friends realise they have a crush on each other o fuck what will they do! they’re actually so wholesome and i adore them sm…. jalter, wilrold, etc came from long discussions with my mutuals where we were like hey… what if johnny and walter had little crushes on each other! wilfred and harold tbh was a creation from one of my mutuals and he really HONED IN on the wilrold vibe and just got me on board too.

Hmm for the ask, do you have any headcanons about how all the characters would interact in an AU school setting? Like who's friends with who, who's dating who, who hates who, etc

BOY DO I!!

Ok so first, and my personal favorite: Roger and Maurice are 100% best friends and nothing will change my mind about this. They are those two dudes that are complete opposites but still just the closest friends.

Ralph and Simon are also obviously a cute duo, best friends for sure.

Jack and Ralph are known to have a weird relationship. They seem to have had a falling out and no one can figure out why, but used to be good friends. I like to think they have a band kid vs choir kid sorta dynamic.

Piggy barely has time to hang out with anyone because hes in literally all AP classes its insane. I think Ralph probably also takes one or two APs, mostly English and/or history classes, and Roger gives me AP art student vibes LOL. Jack is obviously in some sorta advanced choir.

Speaking of choir, Maurice, Simon, Roger, and Jack are all our favorite lil choir kids, so they are forced to be around each other a good amount for concerts and such. Jack often talks shit about the other kids singing abilities to Roger who just kinda sits there like "yep mhm thats great Jack"

As alot of you know, I don't really ship alot, especially for LOTF

BUT here I will make an exception because its cute

Roger definitely has a thing for Simon. Whether thats a full blown crush or just a little excitement when he walks by is up in the air, but there is some sort of feeling there. Maurice has told him a million times to go for it, but whether or not Simon feels the same is unclear.

Okok im gonna answer that one first tehe

- So in an aged up au I think a secret Jack would have is that he was in boy scouts up until an embarrassingly old age or something like that

And here are the rest ;)

- Jack would celebrate his birthday by inviting some of the choir boys over and going out for some overly fancy food and desserts tbh

- I feel like Jack is one to try and look as put together as possible when going out or being around people but when he’s at home by himself, it’s shirt off, some variety of pants, and maybe (MAYBE) socks

- His room is spacious and organized. So organized that every article of random junk even has a designated place to be kept.

- His family would probably have some sort of small, innocent dog that he took the grace in naming something like Dagger or Bullet

- Loves his mom, hates his dad, and for a good reason

- Favorite holiday is Christmas because he likes receiving things, but also secretly likes picking out and buying things for his choir friends <3

- (In an aged up and probably more modern au) He’d have a good amount of tattoos, but most of them are small enough that it doesn’t look like he has many at all, and then I also made up a thingy that Jack, Roger, and Maurice all went to get their ears pierced together, but Jack ended up regretting it and taking the jewelry out like a month later

- ( also modern) He loves music and his favorite artists are Billy Idol, Bowie, Queen, stuff like that

- His most prized possession is either some fancy switchblade or the gold cross on his choir cap that he got from being ChApTEr ChoRiStEr AnD hEaD bOY

- I feel like he steals OFTEN like from chain markets and drug stores, just random, small, junk or whatever he can fit in his jacket (probably a klepto)

- He can play any variation of guitar, but sticks to acoustic and bass

- Falls asleep late, wakes up early (sleep deprived mfer)

- His favorite, and least favorite person, is Ralph <3

- He doesn’t participate in any school sports, but does competitive archery in his free time :)

- He’s very much an extrovert, will not hesitate to scream in a literal stranger’s face

- He’d go to jail for some form of public endangerment 🧍

- If he was stranded on his own (completely different) island, he’d bring his knife, matches, a gun, and NO ONE ELSE

oooo tell about your jager au

Jager au?

Oh Nonny... the fandom already hates me for the good amont of controversial hc i have, but okay. First let me tell I dont ship them romantically, it is more like a platonic disturbed and messed up friendship.

My au is a post-island/adult au going by lines of police investigation and thriller plot. We have a little flashback of the boys during the rescue from the island, just little kids too scared to even think right of everything that happened to them and of what they had done. Somewhere in the back of their heads they still fear something faceless and dark that haunt them, if it is their own memories or what they called beast, none of them want to talk about it. They made a vote of not talking about it. They were kids too afraid to face the reality.

About 10 years after the end of the war a memorial was built up to remember all those who has died. And this memorial brought back the memories of that island. Jack, over the past years had struggled with the guilt of his acts (specially after finding that two of the former hunters are already dead - presumably suicide). So he tried to reach all the other island boys, the hunters and finally Ralph. He found and talked with almost all the former choir boys, but he cant find Roger, and Jack methodical as he is, he doesnt want to talk to Ralph before finding Roger. But they lost touch somewhere in the past and now Jack feels like Roger is purposely avoiding him.

When he finally found track of Roger he had also found some other weird facts about the other island boys that he havent payed much atention before and it seems like more of them had died or been missing through the past few years. Finally meeting Roger, things doesnt go too well either. Roger tells Jack how he doesnt want to think of that (the island) again. He had took his meds, he had disappeared from Jack's life because he knews that was the better for both of them...

"Why are you trying to bring all that back now?"

So that is when things starts to get really personal between them... because, well, back then during their return from the island they had made a promise to one another. A promise Jack thought Roger had forgot. But he didnt.

...

But I'm not telling more because I dont have everything planned yet...

-parents take a hands-off approach but in a neglect kind of way

-doesn’t really like any of ralph’s friends

More LOTF headcanons... an AU I guess?

Since I’m not British I have no idea what their schools are like, and I don’t want to fail miserably at making an AU for that, I’m going to base this on my own school experiences because yes

Jack and his choir are those theater kids who will never stop singing. Auditions? They walk in singing. (this actually happened a few days ago with my own auditions; everyone was singing Encanto songs. But that’s a story for another time.) Passing periods? Still singing. Jack is probably a sucker for classic musicals (Phantom, My Fair Lady, stuff like that) and gatekeeps HARD. Like, for example, someone will say, “Oh yeah, my favorite musical is Hamilton!” or something like that, and Jack will just give them the hardest eyeroll and start acting even MORE passive-aggressive towards them because “they’re not a REAL theatre aficionado”

Ralph is probably part of the student council, and so is Piggy. They’re the judgemental “holier-than-thou” kind of council members, though, and they petition for rules meant to punish the troublemakers that end up making everyone’s school lives miserable (for example, if someone *cough cough* (Maurice) *cough cough* starts stealing the soap dispensers from the bathrooms, Piggy will petition for all the bathrooms to be locked 24/7. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.)

Sam n Eric, Piggy, and Simon have an uneasy alliance because they’re the weird kids that everyone makes fun of

Ralph probably doesn’t have many friends, but he’s every teacher’s favorite and wins a lot of awards for good behavior and good grades

Maurice is probably in the broadcasting club and is always playing really obnoxious songs to drive people insane

Jack and his crew once drove their math teacher so insane that she quit in the middle of class one day

As expected, the whole school is divided into cliques and sub-cliques that claim certain areas as their territory, and Jack’s group always clogs up the hallways, therefore causing people who aren’t in their group to be late

okay so this is the ask abt jack (check my last post if you wanna see roger's)

favourite thing about them: THE DRAMATICS. jack is such a dramatic character. i am not a theatre kid, however i tend to love the super dramatic, somewhat obnoxious characters which is 100% jack.

least favourite thing about them: when he yelled at simon for not eating the pork. nobody is allowed to yell at simon and i was at that point ready to beat him up 🤬💪

favourite line: 'i'm not going to play anymore. not with you... i'm not going to be a part of ralph's lot' i just find this bit funny as it feels like the equivalent to 'i'm not playing with you anymore!' or 'you're not invited to my birthday 😡'

brOTP: like i said before, roger. let them commit crimes smh 🙄

OTP: tbh i dont actually heavily ship jack with anyone. id probably pick jager if its a 'be gay do crime style' or jalph in an outside of cannon universe. i prefer a rivals to lovers to an outright enemies 'we are going to murder each other' to lovers personally.

nOTP: n/a i haven't really seen any ships outside of jager and jalph sooo 🙃 ig jalph bc i prefer jager but both are cool if done right 👍

random headcannon: jack (in a modern au) would have one of those aesthetic skincare fridges. he'd have a super strict skincare routine and would fs force the rest of the choir to do spa days ‼️‼️ another brief one is that he cannot drive to save his life and had probably had his license revoked (if he ever even got one)

unpopular opinion: jack wasn't some badboy rebel character; he was a whiny kid. i still love my ginger son, but he seriously is. i get fan versions like that, but in cannon? nah

i hc jack as a nice guy. all i want is a dumb au where they go back home and jack is such a nice guy to ralph but its a comedy and nothing is serious and its modern to let roger creating an account bullying piggy after he dies. it would be dumb and would ignore the tragedy but its all i want 😔💕

***also he forces the choir boys to recreate their concerts every night over the fire

***does it get on everyone's nerves? Yes. Can they stop him? No.

**the only one who can shut him up is maurice who will tell him he's off pitch

**jack will only let ralph duet with him. No one but the chief is worthy enough to hold a candle to his vocal talent.

OOH YES! this is hard because they’re all so queer in my head. most of this is purely opinion and is very bias. ALSO by sexuality i don’t mean who they have sex with. they’re kids. i just mean their identities in the queer community.

#1 is simon. he’s described as very strange, gentle, more motherly than the others, etc. this may be playing into stereotypes, but it is a very old book. in the time it was written (between 1937 and 1949), queer was used as weird OR as a slur for gay/feminine men (oh anon, i did my research: here). simon is referred to as queer by the other boys, possibly because yeah, he’s weird, but also possibly because he’s….you know…. (also im a huge simon kinnie so he gets first). simon doesn’t seem to fit in with the other boys, maybe because he’s different as far as sexuality goes.

#2 is jack. he gives me aggressive mlm transmasc vibes (mostly w modern au in my head but still). also, his interactions with ralph (the fact that his confident demeanor is quickly turned embarrassed at any mistake or weakness that ralph sees, etc.). plus, straight boys don’t brag about being the leader of a choir (pls this is a stereotype and a joke don’t come for me-) my personal reasons for headcanoning him as trans (again, not like i really think he’s trans in the book, but this is what i use to support my logic): c sharp is not an impressive note for a 12 year old boy unless he means like a really high c sharp, meaning a much higher voice, possibly meaning he could be AFAB and have a higher natural range. also, his need to be seen as a scary strong “masculine” hunter is painfully obvious.

#3 is piggy. his obsession with ralph is a little fruity. plus, he just gives me strong gay vibes. trust me

#4 is ralph. his inability to hate jack and to think jack could ever actually hurt him is clearly based in love (be it platonic or romantic). the way he disassociates the “savage” version of jack from the “real” version of jack in his mind is a way to convince himself that jack does care and could never be like he is

#5 is roger, simply because we don’t have much book evidence other than “emo choir kid who likes to hurt people”. i adore roger but most of my interpretations and headcanons are based on the personality the fandom has given him over the years.

A new list of headcanons for the updated AU

Lotf headcanons

Jack:

Jack is Ralph’s academic rival and also head of the debate team. He spends the weekends at his father’s business, learning how to run the company. On the Saturday nights, he goes to an underground club in a fight ring thing. Nobody knows he does it, even though Ralph also spends time there.

Jack is dyslexic and has minor and manageable OCD, denying using extra help for his dyslexia in classes.

Comes from a wealthy family with 6 siblings, his father divorcing his mother and marrying his step-mother who he pushes away because he’s angsty and shes “not his real mother.”

Loves 80s music so much, he’s a nerd for it.

Sings in the shower/bathroom like into a hairbrush in front of the mirror in his little towel like a nerd but he’s actually really good at singing.

Wears his uniform extremely sharply and very crisp like why so much effort.

He has hearing loss due to an accident in his childhood and he’s fluent in ASL, but doesn’t wear his hearing aids almost ever.

Ralph:

Ralph is fluent in violin, he’s actually really good at playing, he was also an ocean lifeguard and saved Jack’s life when he got caught in a current.

He wears thick framed glasses to read and has really swoopy handwriting thats illegible because it’s like messy calligraphy.

Ralph dives as a hobby and is so good at it, like scary good at diving perfectly.

He has beauty marks on his face that he lets people trace sometimes, ink usually adorning his cheeks.

Very French, extremely French. Fluent in the language.

Draws on his hands with different coloured pens and the designs are always so intricate like a mandala colouring book.

Also draws on the cuffs of his jeans and the rubber edge of his sneakers all the time.

Blushes very easily, will go red in a matter of seconds flat either when he’s flustered, embarrassed or angry.

Brothers with Robert.

Simon:

Spends all of his out of school time in his mother’s flower shop and can recite the meaning of most flowers if you ask him. His fingers are all bandaged up because of how much he cuts himself with knives when he’s removing stems or clippers.

He has epilepsy and faints frequently.

Is a fan of older musicals, like Grease, Dirty Dancing and Hairspray and makes the choir watch them with him.

Rarely spends time indoors, Simon is usually out biking around the neighbourhood or walking around with his friends from school.

Will paint rocks and gift them to people when he thinks they’re upset. Also does face painting at the school carnivals, because he never minds being alone in a booth when there is nobody there.

Speaks softly and is usually ignored in favour of people with louder opinions, but he’s usually right.

Roger:

His biological family died in a house accident, the only thing surviving being him and his cat Nastya, who he loves more than anything. Because of his parents death, he taught himself the rest of the Russian language, which they were already teaching him along with English. However, his heritage is East Asian and Russian.

He pierced his lip by himself, and even though it turned out fine, he got his ears done professionally.

Not very affectionate and will push people away, distancing himself because he doesn’t like the idea of anyone being close to him and get under his skin.

Dyed the back part of his hair on a whim and just liked it enough to keep it as a style.

Spends nights at Simon’s place instead of his own, finding more comfort in Simon’s house.

Sam:

Comes from a German family, but knows German, Italian and English.

He hates birthdays because he doesn’t understand why they are so important.

Hates social interactions and actively avoids them with a passion. He gets extremely nervous and just leaves abruptly when he gets too overwhelmed.

Younger than Eric by 6 minutes, which he routinely gets teased for.

Into super cheesy romantic movies because he loves the idea of a happy ending despite not having one himself.

Messes with his hair when he’s anxious, so it’s constantly messy and mussed.

Mega nail biter when he’s nervous.

Cousins with Jack.

Maurice:

Heavily touch reliant and when his friends don’t show him physical affection, he assumes the worst and gets very upset.

Heavily Italian, like so fucking Italian. His family hardly speaks English and he learned most of his from school.

Very passionate about science despite most people thinking he’s an idiot. He has some of the highest marks in his class.

Messes with things when he’s talking or uses hand gestures. Like if there’s a pen, he’s clicking it because it helps him concentrate.

Maurice has like a billion flannels and hoodies he just cycles through and it looks like he doesn’t change but no, it’s just that he owns a gazillion grey hoodies

His older sister when to an Ivy League school, so he owns a lot of stuff from it that he wears like sweaters or ball caps.

Eric:

Very sarcastic. his entire sense of humour is him bathing in his own sarcasm. It’s actually pretty well timed and kind of funny how he’s able to deadpan his jokes.

Very easily picks up on languages. He’s fluent or close to fluent in German, English, Italian, French, Spanish, Japanese and partly fluent in Korean.

Really enjoys computer science and plans on doing it for a living. He stays up late at night to work and sleeps until like midday.

Doesn’t acknowledge other people’s emotions very often because he doesn’t realise when he’s gone too far, but still feels bad for others when they’re hurt.

Jack’s favourite cousin because they’re cynical buddies. Jack is overly protective of him even though Eric is perfectly capable.

Robert:

Brothers with Ralph and is very protective over him. Has absolutely slandered choir members before for hating on Ralph.

Shares a dad with Ralph but has a different mom, who he visits over the summer and sometimes during the holidays. That’s where he gets his Spanish roots from, which is a language he’s fluent in. He has 7 siblings on that side of his family.

Adores burnt popcorn and burnt anything. If he can burn it, he will.

Works as a mechanic in his free time and built the car he shares with Ralph.

Sci-Fi nerd, specifically Star Wars. He loves the movies and watches them like every day.

Extremely talented artist, Robert sketches anytime he has a pencil and paper.

Peter:

Was bullied in the past but doesn’t let the words bother him anymore. It mostly stopped around high school.

Works with his auntie in the sweet shop and brings his friends food for them to taste test.

Used to be a boy scout, so he can tie any knot you want him to, it’s really a gift.

Gets very cold very easily, especially his fingertips. He usually has a pair of gloves on him for when it gets really bad.

A Mathlete for most of his time in high school, obviously is extremely intelligent.

Double knots his shoelaces so they’re extra secure.

Bill:

Swedish, and really enjoys his own culture. He will spend HOURS rambling about it and how much he loves it.

Watches Avatar the Last Airbender and has the biggest crushes on Sokka and Zuko.

Also is a sucker for people who wear glasses, he really loves them.

Works at the library despite not liking books, he finds comfort in shelving them and the order they go in.

Puts little umbrellas in every single drink he has, it doesn’t matter what it is.

Writes notes to himself on sticky notes because his memory is horrible.

Sets at least 5 alarms because 1 will not wake him up by itself.

Harold:

Can speak limited Spanish due to his schooling.

Likes singing, but never really got into it like some choir members because he has stage fright.

Powerful speaker when he wants to be, but is usually too nervous to say anything.

Has no idea how to tie a tie, so he lets other people do it for him.

Sometimes take sarcastic comments seriously and ends up confused.

A really good actor and loves the performing arts.

Has extremely clear skin, he never gets any blemishes.

Wilfred:

Dyed his hair because his naturally brown hair reminds him too much of his father, who he hates.

Has 4 tattoos in total, the 4 card suits on his cheek, a half sleeve of roses, a bow and olive branch on his inner forearm, and the solar system on his outer forearm.

Very flirtatious to people he doesn’t really like but gets nervous around those he does.

Hold grudges really well.

Has shockingly neat handwriting.

Has a pretty horrible home life but he never talks about it to anyone because he doesn’t want to be perceived as weak or incapable.

Colours with only crayons.

Percival:

Cries easily, as he’s very emotionally driven and is typically teased for being a crybaby or told to “toughen up.”

Absolutely has the worst sleep schedule ever, he gets 3 hours and calls it a win.

Can’t sleep without a nightlight on in his room.

Enjoys writing things down in this notebook instead of on his phone because he likes the feeling of physically using pen and paper.

Sends letters to people all the time instead of messaging.

Good at sewing, he makes his own Halloween costume every year by himself.

Hates horror movies because he’s spooked easily.

Max:

Lived through a house fire when he was younger, so he has burn scars all over his arms.

Is afraid of cooking due to the fire and will go without eating if he has to touch the stove to make food.

Laid back most of the time, but can reach a snapping point in which the emotion is amplified. (like sadness or anger)

Loves swimming, it doesn’t matter where he does it, he just loves to swim.

Is very time sensitive and has to get places early or directly on time or else he gets anxious.

A very fast reader, typically long books take him 2-3 days to get through.

Johnny:

Worries a lot, he usually sees the worst in every single situation.

Is a trans male (Ftm) and was accepted by his entire family when he came out.

Owns a St. Bernard named Dolly who is the sweetest dog ever.

Spends a lot of time outdoors, he still plays as if he is a child.

Also enjoys the snow a lot because he’s fond of building snowmen with the kids on his street.

Has very sensitive skin and eczema, which he doesn’t like to talk about or show anyone because it makes him feel insecure.

Oddly good at playing guitar, he just picks up on chords with ease.

Walter:

Good at playing the drums and annoys his entire family with it.

Uses a skateboard as his main method of transportation around places.

On the basketball team, as his older brother taught him to play when they were both younger.

Hates roller skating despite being very good at most things on wheels. He can never find his balance.

Shockingly good at Math, especially statistics and calculus. He’s in all advanced math courses.

Has a very weird snake addiction and he desperately wants to buy one.

Henry:

Aromantic Asexual who is best friends with Harold and Wilfred.

Mainly makes snippy remarks because his humour falls into the sarcasm umbrella.

Adores comic books and superheroes, specifically Marvel ones because he’s a fan of Dare Devil.

Plays baseball in his free time but hasn’t joined a team, he just plays with the boys in his neighbourhood.

Addicted to the High School Musical movies.

Good at painting people’s nails and will do it for them if they ask.

Has really fluffy hair that he lets people touch and play with.
