just had the thought- I'm hoping people don't get nasty if there isn't a Stellaride baby. Part of my fears getting into fandom was how weird and scary, and ultimately, mean people get about their shows. It its totally fine to dislike the show, but then it starts to translate into the real people? Like commenting weird things on the actor's Instagram posts, or attempting to bully the showrunners and writers.
I want a Stellaride baby too (this whole account is evidence ahah) but I'd be okay if there wasn't one- because I got into the show as I love seeing the relationship between Kelly and Stella. So long as they don't kill one of them off, I'll literally be satisfied. Plus I don't think the show will end without Stellaride as parents, even if it's only a flash forward in the series finale bahah.
I still fully believe there will be a baby reveal end of season, but! On the off chance there isn't, I just hope people don't get nasty and weird. That can't be fun for anyone, the actors or the crew who work so hard on the show.
Andrea has been showrunner for not even a full season and she’s making me mad. How are you going to spend time going into Gibsons backstory, have him become friends with Carver and the rest of the firehouse, and then get rid of him? I really hope there’s a good explanation. I want to believe there’s a chance he comes back just based on how Rome worded his instagram story and the fact that articles said that he might return but I refused to get my hopes up. Plus Rome said he’d love to work with Dick Wolf again. I want Andrea to see the backlash of Rome leaving if she didn’t have a good enough reason to get rid of him.
I’m just so confused because Andrea was so excited that about Rome coming on and about Gibson as a character so what happened? Why get rid of him? If she got rid of him because the plan was always to bring Kylie into Truck then there was no reason to show that Gibson might have had a thing for Kylie and there was no reason that he should’ve gotten a deep backstory like he did. And also, the article announcing that Rome was coming into fire said his role “could explains to something bigger”. You don’t say that if there is intentions for him to stick around.
EDIT: I just wanted to add I’m honestly just mad that they got rid of a character that had such a good fan reaction and so much potential. Like people loved Gibson and to get rid of him is upsetting. Truck is a revolving door right now and Gibson provided stability.
