Sitting up, brushing leaves out of her hair, Webby surveyed the debris around them. If it wasn't the best she'd ever come out of an adventure, it also sure wasn't the worst either. And hey, they'd got what they'd come for...

Whatever exactly it was. A relic of Rossiel's history, she had gathered: but while Webby knew plenty about the ancient culture's of earth, she felt like she'd only just scratched the surface of all there was to know about her new friend's people.

She just still wasn't sure she should ask, when it was a sensitive subject for the other girl.

Rather, she shrugged, rubbed the back of her head a little.

"I mean, I always feel like any top secret infiltration that you can get out of without getting almost sacrificed to an undead mummy is a successful one, heh."

So, this is what I’ve been working on this last week!

I had the idea a while ago, actually. Thought it would be fun to do a picture of all my muses interacting; and since they’re all kids anyway, having them all attend school together seemed a natural idea. I thought I might use it as my blog header in the future, in fact, though I dunno.

I wanted to get it finished in my end-of-year cleanup. I, heh, started the rough sketch when I had just eight muses, so when I decided to pick it back up, I had to extend the picture to add in the additional four puppies as well!

I was undecided for a while on whether to go for the uniforms or not; but I felt like it read more obviously as a school scene if they were all wearing them. Plus, it’s what I’m used to from my own experiences.

I’m honestly really happy with the end result here?

Just wanted to share these! The ones in the first line are probably familiar, they've been decorating my 'primary muses' page for a while now; and I just today drew up the rest of the canon characters I play on here to make the 'secondary muses' page match!

...okay, the observant will notice that this is NOT all of my canon muses: Terra is missing. I tried to include her too, but just couldn't get her looking good today so I decided to just focus on getting everyone else's done instead; she'll be added in the future.

That means that, yeah, I'm going to be removing Terra from my muses page for the time being. She's not going anywhere, is still on this blog; but without a nice matching image for her I feel like it would make the page look messy xD; She's still available for RP and asks and everything; and she'll be back on the page as soon as I get up an image for her, too.

While it was true that Webby was a girl who loved the epic and adventurey things of life, that didn't stop her from also appreciating many of its tamer pleasures too. The little duckling didn't exactly fancy herself as a good artist, but she nonetheless enjoyed drawing as a little hobby, doodling up legendary creatures, scenes from Scrooge's adventures, and - only occasionally - herself as a superhero amongst other things. Mostly in her top secret notebook, but...

Well, that notebook was getting full. As her gasp of delight indicated, Rossiel's timing couldn't have been better; especially when the book came with more drawing materials too.

"This can be the sequel to my top-secret notebook! Electric boogaloo... I don't know what that means. Dewey told me it's totally a thing you call sequels, though."

"And cookies! Did you bake them yourself? I bet they taste amazing!"

That assumption was, at least, counting on them not being oatmeal and raisin. But surely no-one would give oatmeal and raisin cookies for Christmas, would they?

Webby, at least, was as interested as she was in anything new. Bending over, inspecting the odd little discs that she'd been handed. So many varying different shapes and colours and designs...

"You say they're blades? They're not very sharp, but..."

"Oh, I see-- are these like a kid-safe trainee version of throwing weapons? But then, what's this part for...?"

"No, I get it --"

She wasn't intending to be rude; but there was Gosalyn, snatching one of them out of Webby's hands to inspect herself. Partly she was guessing; but once you figured it out, they seemed pretty standard, right?

Maybe it was obvious that she was a girl who spent more time in toy shops than Webby did.

"They're kinda like spinning toys. This must be a launcher, and you shoot 'em around and see how much stuff you can knock over with them before Dad gets mad and confiscates them from you, right?"

She loaded one of the blades onto the launcher, brandished it like a weapon. Small as they were, they might not do that much destruction; but Gos was sure willing to put them to the test and find out.

"Ohhhhh."

That was the sound of comprehension, as Webby picked up another one of her own, toyed with it between her fingers. Seemed to her like Gosalyn definitely had hit close to the mark; but there were still more curiosities about them to consider.

"Say, they almost look like they should be able to be rebuilt in different ways. Do you think..."
