Pebbs is based off or rather symbolizes the Earth and its involvement with both Eclipses. (Suns and Moon)

His colors are mainly based off the Grand Canyon, but slowly change to a dark bluish green over time.

Finally: The Official DBHC Etho Reference Sheet!

I had to clarify that the “current” look is for Season 9, because I’m not sure how or if he’ll change for s10 yet! The “current” version is essentially his updated “default” look! Thought I might mention also that “Back Around” on the loose timeline lineup at the bottom is a reference to a song on his playlist in which he takes some time away from everyone after re-deviating to re-remember and find himself <3

Side note: Etho wears his mask under his chin mostly just around bdubs, but he starts wearing it down more often around doc, tango, or others who are used to seeing the damage. More than anything else, he’s sure to keep it for protection purposes when he’s outside working, exploring, or anything else that isn’t just hanging and chatting with friends :]

hi, those who have been following my a while probably have some idea of my housing situation, but the short of it is that something bad happened between me and my former landlord and i have now been homeless and couch surfing for over a year, and am currently looking into moving into an actual apartment by the end of the month. This wasn't something I had planned during the start of this month, or things would've played out differently, but things happened and I'm trying to make it work in the short window i have. General move in cost for the current apartment right now is greatly discounted until April 1st, and would be around $245 until then, not including pet deposite pet deposit.

I have a job interview lined up with a place just one bus stop away from this apartment, a brother with a truck ready to help move, a supportive fiancé, and enough financial security to keep those apartment bills paid enough until a job is security. The section8 housing lottery isn't working for the time being, and while they will help with rent costs once my name is drawn eventually, until then I'm on my own and need real help.

So I'm trying to raise for move in costs before April 1st. Main goal is $500

I’ve fleshed out Scar and Sausage’s designs for my Chained Life au

I go a little bit more in depth on the designs under the cut.

Originally I had Scar in his classic outfit because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, but I decided I wanted to give him a robin-hood/Peter Pan vibe.

The feathers in his hat are meant to resemble vex wings, much like his hat in HermitCraft.

I think Scar would start out more Allay on his green life but then progressively gain more Vex features as he looses lives. Since I imagine this being Scar’s green life, I’ll probably change the hat feathers to look more like Allay wings.

Sausage didn’t change a lot for his initial conception. I wanted to do something more interesting with his eye scar, so I made it super messed up with a flower shaped iris. The eye’s really loose and can roll past the limits of a normal eye. It could probably roll to the back of his head as well. Other than that I gave him a lot of sunflowers to pay homage to Empires Sausage and Santa Perla.

I think Imma have the freaky eye carry onto my general design for Sausage.

Im hoping to do more detailed designs for all of the characters in Chained Life and redesign old ones with my current skills. I also love seeing fanart so I hope more concrete design references will be helpful to those who want to do that.
