agreed, the duncan alia thing was stupendously terrible, but what are your opinions on the last idaho ghola, of outfucking the honored matres prestige and ominous prescience of weird duo fame?
murbella was cuntslay enough and the dynamic interesting enough and ghola guy far away enough from any duncan iteration that I was borderline okay with some of it

also quotes like this greatly helped. and I can't overstate how cuntslay my beloved murbella is she CARRIED here

there's no particular reason to read the Dune series in order unless you want to experience first hand how progressively horny Frank Herbert's writing becomes

Finally completed my nice (and old) Dune book collection, which is relief because for the longest time, I had really shitty editions.
Shoutout to Messiah, who never a got a hardcover release with the “Dune” font.

Dune (2021) has its good parts and its not good parts, but it did get me into the books.
I finished reading Chapterhouse and have come out of this series a changed person. literally, there’s pre-dune me and post-dune me. I tell people that they’re the best science fiction ever written, but I do not recommend them to anyone.

I want people who haven't read Chapterhouse to guess the plot based on this cover alone
