For October, I’d like to introduce 2 characters I’ve had in my mind for a long while and are SO happy to finally draw them properly and not just as sketches/concepts! Meet Martin Welfore and his right hand man, Cassie Dolores!

( LOOORE below! )

Martin:

- Age 16

- Self proclaimed Ghost Hunter/Detective

- Absolutely loves the paranormal

- Does dog sitting as well. In fact he’s actually really good at taking care of dogs than discovering ghosts ( Don’t say that to his face though )

- Wears his cap back constantly as he proclaims that it makes him more serious

- Thinks the Church is hiding something in the basement. His working theories are a cult or a portal to the multiverse

Cassie:

- Age 15

- Best friend of Martin, is taller than him

- Despite what people think, he actually has 20/20 eyesight

- Voice sounds like it’s coming out of an old VCR tape/microphone

- Is very expressive when he over reacts, which is often a lot

- Actually has a hard time believing in ghosts, but keeps an open mind

( If it hasn’t become obvious. These guys are spoofs of Analog Horror, a favorite media of mine! More specifically, the Mandela Catalogue by Alex Kister! This isn’t an AU of it though! These are just characters I’ve originally designed for the background for Dusk Till Dawn that I wanted to expand on! And I’m quite happy with it! )

The Major (Rtd) Bernie Wolfe from Holby City aka the Big Macho Army Medic, here looking ridiculously cute AND sexy, a combination Jemma Redgrave pulls off far more frequently than you might suspect if you don’t know her work well!

Kate (Lethbridge) Stewart, daughter of the beloved Brigadier Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart. She is also played by Jemma Redgrave (are you spotting a theme here yet?! 😜) in Doctor Who and who has been criminally underused of late. Here with her hands buried in her pockets (a characteristic JRed character move, actually!)

DCI Cassie Stuart, played by Nicola Walker, in Unforgotten, an incredibly compassionate and committed copper who deserves all the happiness in the world.

Ruth Evershed, played by Nicola Walker, in Spooks | MI5. She is fiercely intelligent and capable (although sometimes clumsy as hell) and deserves all the happiness in the world.

Annika Strandhed, played by Nicola Walker (are you spotting another theme, yet?! 😜) in Annika. Which began life as a BBC radio drama before Black Camel Pictures turned it into an ace TV show and relocated it from Norway to Scotland!

Captain Michael Burnham, played by Sonequa Martin-Green, who is FINALLY, FINALLY! in the place she belongs - the Captain’s chair aboard the USS Discovery on Star Trek: Discovery. She went through hell to get there, but she finally got there!

Seven of Nine, born Annika Hansen, played by Jeri Ryan on Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Picard. Seven was a child when the Borg assimilated her and it’s been a long, hard road for her to become the incredible competent and capable woman she is today.

Alice played by Hattie Morahan in The Bletchley Circle. She’s just stunningly gorgeous and competent.

Helen Sinclair, played by Hattie Morahan, and Liv Chenka, played by Nicola Walker, in the Big Finish Eighth Doctor audio serieses. Yes, I know I’m cheating because this is Doctor Who, but guess what, I don’t care! 😜

I’m just not 100% sure what I could name such a blog yet

I also feel that I should draw my Cuphead characters more often

That’s getting off topic of the question but I still felt like that needed to be said

Cassie Teacup (left) is the mother to Cuphead, Mugman, and my other oc Cuppella

She once worked as a waitress at the devil’s casino when she was younger, sometimes helping her boss gather soul contracts as well

She meets Martin Mugen Walter (right) one day while going out getting contracts from the bosses on Inkwell Isle One

Having been raised by Elder Kettle much like the current cup trio, Martin lived a simple life

He seen Cassie while passing through the woods and noticed her collecting soul contracts for the devil

Martin, confused on why Cassie would even want to work for the devil but also intrigued after seeing her fight Goopy Le Grande, introduced himself to her and also asked her a few questions about her work

Cassie told him that she had been working for the devil to earn extra coins that way she could save up her earnings and possibly get a new house for herself so that way she could finally cut ties with dealing with her boss and go down her own path

Martin, although wary of the risks that might come with the task at hand, wanted to help Cassie the best he could so he decided to work with her and they had continued on with their adventure together

Years later, Cassie and Martin had gotten married and eventually Cuphead, Mugman, and Cuppella were born

Cassie and Martin had tried helping their old friend Chalice finally be free from the astral plane but unfortunately this plan backfired and Cassie and Martin had tragically gotten sealed away in the astral plane, only hoping that one day they would get the chance to see their children again

After this, the cup trio had been taken in by Elder Kettle and well, then you should what know happens in the game’s canon story xP

I was just tryna wing it and come up with a good story on a whim

Okay I love all the Goncharov posts but why is nobody talking about the cabbie. Like obviously he's a background character who plays no integral role to the plot, but he clearly stands out when he gets out from the car. Is he supposed to be a cameo and I just don't recognize him?

heather is fun and full of whimsy :)

Martin wanted to invite someone over and this dormie was the only one without a job in the way. As soon as he arrived, Martin had to work, so heather had some fun influencing him to put soap in the fountain. She also wanted to invite over someone, and she and Alex Goth were like 2 points away from best friends. They became friends while Martin was away.

Apparently they had an existing slight dislike of each other, because as soon as Martin got home it was on sight.

it was like this for hours. alex just stood there waiting for him to stop crying so he could start shoving him around again. he's so mean for no reason idk what martin ever did to him. martin didn't even homewreck this one what is the problem...
