Nichols N1A, 2023. A project by a former McLaren designer to create a Can‑Am inspired road car styled after the McLaren M1A, the first sportscar designed and built by Bruce McLaren’s racing team. An initial run of 17 launch-spec cars will feature a dry-sump 7.0-litre-develop of the GM LS3. These new blocks have been bored out to their new 427ci capacity with steel liners and upgraded pistons, producing around 660PS. Each of these engines will be built by Langford Performance Engineering, a company that has produced F1 engines. All models will come with a six-speed manual gearbox. The graphene-infused carbon-fibre bodywork covering an aluminium and carbon-fibre chassis means very light 900kg weight and a 710PS per tonne power-to-weight ratio. Prices have yet to be confirmed but are said to be in the region of £450,000

Everything Great About: Pro Tag Team Sex Battle 1 - Aryx Quinn & Brenden Cage v Jake Lyons & Landon Mycles

  Everything Great About this Match: +7

SPOILER ALERT: I highly recommend viewing this match in its entirety before reading this post.

So let's begin: 

+1: Landon Mycles - the guy's body is insane in this match and to top it off, the directors knew how to show it off putting him in some very flattering holds.  

+1: A point for the action: For a Can-am production, hell for any studio to put this out took a lot of work.  While it borders on what I would consider wrestling, it does come across as a foursome roughhousing with each other trying to determine who they should pair off with, which is fine by me.   

+1: For the back and forth trash talk.  While driven mainly by Aryx, with Brenden as his side kick, it all adds to the overall experience of the blue team feeling cocky and confident combined with Landon's moans and groans.  

+1: Double teaming.  Some parts of this were silly, yes, but not too cartoonish to be unsatisfying.  But seriously watching the blue team play dirty, double team, and manhandle Landon was the highlight of the video. 

+1: The backstory with Aryx and Brenden both gushing over Landon.  They openly banter back and forth on what they like best about the sexy Mr. Mycles and can't help but pre-celebrate when they win the match.   Maybe this plays into what I always suspected about tag matches where there's always one wrestler of the four that the others are all secretly lusting after.  Seriously watch a tag team match and see how the dynamic is with the hottest member of the foursome.  

+1: For the production values and camera work.  Can-am is a legit, top notch porn studio and it shows.  Everything about this match screams professionalism.  The camera person knew the best and most flattering angles, lighting, everything.  

+1: The ending (Aryx + Landon).  I love how into it all Aryx was and how Landon was able to use this to his advantage by double crossing him and putting him out [EXPLICIT].

So there you have it.  While this match contained less wrestling than my usual tastes it is an example of exactly of why I love Can-am.  It's a tight, well-produced, professionally done video with insanely hot performers.  Landon shines in his role as the primary jobber with a heavy assist from Aryx who carried the entire show.  As I mentioned in a previous post, I have a weakness for those unsung heroes (Aryx) who create a space for others to shine and shine Landon does in this match.

Lotus Type 66, 2023. As part of their 75th year celebrations Lotus is to recreate a Can-Am proposal from 53 years ago that never left the drawing board. The Type 66 will be built as an edition of 10 track-only cars based on technical drawings and scale models from 1970. The production total was selected to commemorate the number of races the V8 engined Type 66 would have competed in during the it's inaugural season.

Molly Taylor volverá en el Dakar 2023 con el South Racing by Can-Am

La piloto australiana Molly Taylor confirmó hoy que volverá a competir en el Dakar junto al South Racing by Can-Am en 2023 después de un exitoso debut en la edición 2022 donde logró la P14 en la clasificación general. 

Taylor, campeona australiana de rally en 2016 y campeona de la Extreme E en 2021 está completando una exitosa transición al off-road y se está estableciendo como una de las figuras del South Racing. La australiana estuvo participando como apoyo en el lanzamiento del equipo de fábrica en la Vegas to Reno junto a los pilotos oficiales Austin Jones y Chaleco López y además del Dakar, estará participando en el próximo Rally de Marruecos como preparación.

Molly Taylor es un excelente ejemplo de las puertas que ha abierto la Extreme E a pilotos femeninas en la disciplina del rally raid. Antes de sumarse al Rosberg X Racing con quienes ganó el título, Taylor no estaba compitiendo demasiado en pandemia y su carrera estaba más bien estancada. Al consolidarse como uno de los grandes talentos de la categoría consiguió esta oportunidad con South Racing que le abre nuevas puertas a su carrera. Otras pilotos que han logrado expandir sus oportunidades gracias a Extreme E han sido, por ejemplo, Cristina Gutiérrez, Laia Sanz y Christine GZ.
