Patrick Tambay Skiing❤️

You will already know that Patrick was a skier before racing. Actually he was meant to be a skier when he found motoracing and he fell in love with it.

He was even a champion in junior downhill ski and then he moved in the late 60s to the United States to continue with the sport.

Here you have the best photos I’ve found of Patrick skiing:

All these photos are from an event in Maddona di Campiglio ski resort.

Also, I have found that Patrick dated another ski racer called Kiki Cutter. I don’t know if it’s true at all but it sounds very convincing.

I love the photos of Patrick skiing and I will be uploading more.

^ in the mid 2000s, once they've long since both retired. Osano tries for the triple crown (he's missing the Indycar win) but falls in love with endurance racing after his Le Mans win, so he goes on compete in Daytona and Fuji Super 24h, and then commentates for Le Mans and other races in the 24 hour series. He's not totally absent from the F1 paddock though, and comes in from time to time to do commentary. Nikolai comes back to McAulay as an advisor/manager (he retired with a different team) and started working with my fictional equivalent of F1TV

favourite season openers: 1982 south african grand prix

niki lauda came back from retirement to lead a strike against new superlicence regulations. the drivers took a chartered coach to the sunnyside park hotel instead of taking part in practice sessions. ferrari's didier pironi stayed behind at the track to negotiate with jean-marie balestre and the team owners.

at the hotel, when it became clear they would have to sleep over, the drivers barricaded themselves in the ballroom and slept on shared mattresses. gilles villeneuve and elio de angelis played piano to keep everyone entertained; bruno giacomelli drew diagrams of machine guns, and everyone made lewd jokes about sleeping together.

the strike eventually ended the following day with an uneasy compromise between the drivers and the racing authorities, and the grand prix went ahead.

in the race, rene arnoux started on pole, but was beaten to victory by his renault teammate alain prost, who recovered from a mid-race puncture to take the win. carlos reutemann finished second, his final podium before retiring.
