hi xy time for what is becoming my annual checkin! how are u! i feel like since its been abt a year i have to infodump abt all my character development hold on i'll speedrun it. my pronouns r it/its zhey/zhem or (less preferred) they/them. and i have settled on those. it/its is the only one thats ever given me gender euphoria, took 4 years but i got there. ummm realized i have autism (undiagnosed). love the stimming and the being insane abt fictional characters the rest isnt that great. got anxiety meds!!!!! oh my god xy!!!! life is so good now antidepressants r a girls best friend. also. hold on ur never gonna believe this. i have adhd meds now. the crowd goes wild. was like yea doc idk i just think the anxiety meds r not improving my ability to focus what was that u said abt adhd^__^ n she was like hmmmm ok i cant diagnose u but i can give u this adderall u dont need a diagnosis for n if its like glory hallelujah we'll just assume u have it and GLORY HALLELUJAH. ive cleaned my room like more times in the past few months than i have my entire life im WINNING. i cant rly feel if its working but i'll sit down to write or smth n i wont get distracted every 5 seconds n the mental block that keeps me from doing things is gone!!!!! life changing stuff just wish i had it before my grades fuckin woooo splat. um my gpa is 2.2 weighted im like. ok well now that i have adhd meds im working on it -H (i feel like. ok i think tumblr made it so ur asks can be longer but fuck all those liberals n their woke agenda (joke) i am all abt tradition babey i'll be back for a pt 2 rq)

ummm rly into books love books. "thats old news h everyone knows that" but like im being wonderfully unnormal abt them<3 there was this one series the ascendance trilogy n i was fucking OBSESSED w it when i was younger n i learned there was a 4th n 5th book recently so like. the trilogy thing was a fuckin lie. but i obviously had to reread the series so i could read the new books n im still so obsessed w the series its so banger for a middlegrade series. got so unnormal abt it i made a 7hr playlist for the main character bc everyone elses sucked so much ass i just had to. still in the process of rereading but yeah. also theres this OTHER series the raven cycle i read recently n im also obsessed w that these series r all like my ideal books they hit all my favorite tropes. yeah just being rly unnormal abt books thats my current obsession. also. drawing. im so good at it u wouldnt believe. next fuckin van gogh right here. n honestly i dont even care abt going off anon it just bothers me bc my ROUTINE. the TRADITION. its just not the same. but i'll go off it just for u to show u some of my banger art. at a stage where im pretty frustrated at my limitations but that doesnt mean i cant recognize that im fucking awesome ok hold on again -H but yea ok to finish up what have u been up to! tempted to just ask what shows/game/etc uve been into but also i am exerting a little of my brain power to realize some ppls lives dont revolve around those. so just liek what have u been spending a lot of time doing. how is writing going! wait what r ur drawing skills just out of curiosity draw smth for me (if ur comfy ofc n dw i completely understand if it fuckin sucks taht was me just over a year ago) -H (when i was younger i used to think that ppl couldnt be good at writing n drawing they had to choose one. exerted my baby brain power to be like. it takes too long to get good at them u can only do one. then saw a book w the cover art credited to the author n i was like woahhh this is fuckin crazy living my younger selfs pipe dream)

I will have to look into the ascendance trilogy!! My sibling is also obsessed with the raven cycle, but i have not read it yet (still debating if i want to or not, have been for YEARS lol, because i keep hearing "author problematic" and then never remember Why because i have Goldfish Memory). I will not post your off-anon ask with the artwork unless you want me to (want you to feel comfy on the blog and sending asks and I know you prefer anon!), but i will say that your art is AWESOME, my friend!! you are SO good and you're only going to keep getting better! I am glad you enjoy it!

Also bestie. This is a neurodivergent space lol, my life also revolves around shows/games/books/etc. they are the only thing that make the monotony of life and job-having under a neurotypical capitalistic society bearable lol. I actually have been getting back into reading ACTUAL BOOKS lately which feels GREAT (because reading Actual Books when i am so tired and Non-Functioning all the time is Hard lol), i am finally going through my seemingly-endless TBR and also have reread some old faves this year. Games-wise, the only thing i ever think about is still the Dragon Age games, Alistair is the love and light of my life lol. Show-wise.... i am in Limbo because of the Exhaustion, tragically, and also just waiting on new seasons (OFMD). Witcher has a new season out, but i have not watched it yet because Energy and also i have no motivation to because the last season they put out was so bad (even if i hear this one is good, i have lost trust lol)

Writing is. Not quite going lol. I have not finished a fanfic in ages, and also have made little to no progress on any of my original work attempts either, tragically. Hopefully things look up for me soon cuz I wanna get stuff DONE again lol, this blog has become so quiet and near obsolete because i cannot FINISH anything and it is TRAGIC.

Also, I have little-to-no drawing skills, but I also unfortunately do not have much energy to apply to drawing you a picture atm :(( maybe someday. Sometimes I can draw something that makes me go "omg i am not Awful, maybe I could actually put thoughts and energy into learning this as a skill" and other times it is like "i will never put pencil to paper (or stylus to screen) ever again" lol. Maybe someday when i am doing Better again i will hopefully have the energy to draw you something!!

Thriving in an Economic Bubble during Anarchy

6. The Christian Succession – Stress and Bubbles

What a week of highlights which provided clarity to a variety of questions. Give our Lord and Savior the credit for the great awakening that is happening as Christians stand firm so that Satan is being exposed. Hallelujah. Amen. Here are just a few examples:

1. Talk about Hot, Biden’s son has made paintings that are for sale for up to $500,000 each. Demonstrating their commitment to full disclosure, everyone was reassured when White House press secretary Jen Psaki stated that “secrecy is transparency”. Really? Is that a quote from George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”? Perhaps the video’s on Hunter’s laptop were his efforts at producing “art” not porn movies. I am surprised Pelosi and Schumer did not convert that “art’ into movies so Pelosi could provide designer ice cream. Perhaps Schumer does popcorn. Questions – Is the White House now an art gallery for Hunter Biden’s art? Does Hunter still pay his dad a 10% fee on all business deals? Since the sales are secret, is that why the prices are so high? Are Chinese, Russian, and Ukrainian leaders the buyers? Does this smell good to you? It is consistent.

2. The inflation rate for June over a year ago was in excess of 5%, an increase from the rate in May. Can you hear that inflation train a’coming?

3. Some articles in the financial arena have discussed that major brokerage houses/ banks have a record total margin debt of over $68 Billion. Much of the expansion is because clients of those banks are borrowing against their stock portfolios sometimes at interest rates below 1% and using the money to buy houses, cars, trips, etc. The good times will roll until the stock market bubble bursts, then comes the pain and agony along with increased downward momentum in the stock market as margin calls occur.

4. It was reported that David Garrow, an award-winning Pulitzer Prize winning historian in the 2018 paperback version of his Obama biography, "Rising Star," wrote that Obama had written that he mentally made love to men daily. That answers a lot of questions but it also makes me wonder how distracted was Obama when he was meeting with male world leaders? Are the rumors true that Michelle is actually Michael?

5. One of the new media reported that on page 9 of an Executive Order signed by Biden in January titled “Tackling the Climate Crisis at Home and Abroad” a goal is stated to “conserve” 30 percent of land in the United States by 2030 to combat the “climate crisis.” All of the Federal agencies are to periodically report how they are working to met that goal and their progress. What happened to private property rights? Demented Marxists, sorry I forgot for a moment.

6. 177 days into the DM’s Coup, the Vote Fraud pot is beginning to boil. VoterGA reported significant vote fraud in Fulton County, the home of the suitcase ballots. There were more reports of confirmed vote fraud in Michigan and demands for audits. Trump released a letter from a former U. S. Attorney who said he was ordered by Attorney General Barr NOT to pursue voter fraud in the November 2020 election. Keep watching the Arizona audit. Pray for the patriots in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, …for Patriots across the USA.

7. Did you see the video of the young female Cuban journalist that was arrested by state security in the middle of her broadcast? Heart rending. All those young folks want is freedom and the DM’s in DC do not care. I care… a lot. Join me in praying for them.

8. More alarms were raised last week about the electricity crisis and water crisis in California. Brownouts, rolling black outs, no water because of environmental regulations. Virginia needs adults in government because we are headed toward the same disaster.

As America exits the Wuhan Pandemic, consumer product companies have identified that higher stress is present in their consumers and are targeting that condition with products. Pepsi and Coke have designed new beverages and Lincoln has designed their vehicle interiors to reduce consumer stress. Perhaps some of the stress exists because there are two galaxies in the USA that seemingly must collide in the future. Our society is divided in a manner I have never witnessed before with a toxic mix of:

a. One political party demanding massive cultural changes including but not limited to having our schools and other institutions teach racial hatred while polls show a majority of both political parties believe the recent election was full of fraud and thus “stolen”.

b. Meanwhile the general economy while recovering from the pandemic shutdown appears to be headed for an economic cliff with bubbles being created and bursting like July 4 fireworks combined with high inflation, higher energy costs (our energy independence destroyed, OPEC is in control again, and gas is forecast to be $4 per gallon by the end of this year), and Biden’s proposed higher taxes.

In my career of 49 years, I have lived through recessions caused by:

1. Higher energy prices (Arab Oil Embargo of 1974, the beginning of OPEC).

2. Higher interest rates 1975 and in 1979 – 1982.

3. Massive bank failures (1986 – 1990 the end of the Savings and Loan industry).

4. Stock market crash (2001 when dotcoms became dot bombs because the Fed raised interest rates to combat “irrational behavior”).

5. The home mortgage banking crisis 2007-2010.

But I have never been through a recession where the toxic brew included a combination of three negative forces (higher energy costs, higher interest rates, and higher taxes). The non-infrastructure Infrastructure Deal will only increase inflation and bubbles will continue to occur and burst. Get ready for a brutal reset of the economy in 2022.

Timberland owners have been upset they did not get invited to the party of the lumber price bubble. Lumber prices more than doubled as major home builders and retailer bought up that “scarce” resource while stumpage prices in Virginia remained depressed compared to the rest of the South. In Virginia sawtimber and chip & saw were only $1 different per ton on the stump. Now that the lumber bubble has burst, those home builders and retailers need to work through their inventory of expensive lumber before retail prices will reflect the reduction in cost.

If you follow this blog, you know we forecasted in February that higher mortgage rates in January meant the residential market had peaked. Recently we have had some homebuilders comment that each month for the last three months their pace of home sales has slowed. That data confirms that January – February was the peak in the residential market. Grant Massie land market indices indicate the land market typically peaks about one year after the residential market, first quarter of 2022.

A great piece of land remains The Best investment long term. Capitalism builds wealth, Marxism/Socialism consumes it in self destruction. Pray for a return to honest and audited elections in the USA. God is in control. Men make plans, but God ALWAYS wins.

The wild card is when the above mentioned two galaxies collide. At that point we will be in uncharted economic territory. Fortunately, men make plans, but God is in control.

The place he’s in is shady, and that’s an understatement. At worst, someone could brush past someone else in the wrong way, a fight could break out and he could catch a stray bullet. At best that bullet could be a fist.

It is the last place anyone would ever expect Yixing to show up, let alone sit at the bar and quietly nurse the seventh scotch of the night without even batting an eyelash at the commotion of people around him. He’s gotten rather fond of the particular drink lately, like a testament to his habit of making poor choices.

He heaves a deep sigh when somewhere behind him, someone’s voice rises to an angrier level. That fight is bound to happen at some point in the near future, yet he doesn’t even care. He doesn’t even care if there’s going to be punches thrown, despite the fact that he couldn’t even kick a guys ass if they presented it perfectly in front of him. It’s not in his system to do so, to harm others.

Of course he’s taken self defence classes and he’s well on his way to becoming pretty good at fighting off any possible assailant, but that’s all during practice and he hardly knows what would happen if he were ever to end up in the situation for real. But well, he’s about to find out apparently.

Pouring the remainders of his drink straight down his throat, Yixing closes his eyes at the heavy sting of the alcohol in his throat. It’s only a moment longer of sitting there before he feels himself give up. What a wonderful way to spend a birthday night, isn’t it? He doesn’t even need to check his phone to know he hasn’t gotten any texts.

He throws money on the bar for his drinks, then gets up from the stool to leave the damn place, walking out into the streets of Seoul. There’s something nagging at him, something trying to claw its way out of his chest and he knows what it is but he can’t let it out. Because once he starts allowing himself to realise what kind of a mess he’s been making for himself, he’ll never get out of it.

Still, he can’t help his mind from wandering. His thoughts from going to his precious little sister and her wonderboy. To the people in his life that are good, the few friends he- He stops short and tries to count them on his fingers. There’s Jiyong, whom he makes music with, whom he counts on for advice and support to anything music related, whom he could never not consider a friend. Then there’s Yoongi, and although they’ve gotten closer only more recently, Yixing still considers him close. And then... Then he’s done.

He doesn’t even try to think of Chanyeol, of the plenty of nights spent drinking together, talking together. Because can he really call the man a friend when half the time he’s around the other he’s hopelessly hoping that it will lead to something more, that maybe Chanyeol will develop a different sexuality over a drink? A bitter laugh bubbles past his lips, Yixing spreading his arms as he walks in the middle of the dimly lit street, acting almost like a drunk.

But he’s not drunk. He hasn’t been drunk in a long time. Drunk means not knowing what you’re doing, or that hazy quality in your mind, and he’s gotten so used to the amounts of alcohol that he knows exactly what he’s doing, that his mind is as clear as day. And that’s the problem exactly, isn’t it? Everything is clear as day. He knows exactly what he’s doing but he’s still doing it anyway. He’s still ruining himself.

The eighth time he’s felt the world seemingly fall apart around him and the eighth time he’s going to do absolutely nothing about it. Because what can he do? What can he possible do to turn it all around when he can’t even get himself to close his eyes and have eight hours of undisturbed sleep? Heck, he can’t even get four. The next laugh is louder, but just as bitter. And then he shouts.

At the sky. At the world. At himself, maybe? He screams out his frustration and anger at a world that doesn’t even listen, then kicks real hard against one of the lantern poles on the side of the road. He possibly breaks a toe in the process, but it does nothing to help relieve all the things pent up inside of him. Nothing has ever quite managed to help him fix any of that. Or maybe not fix it, but just get a temporary relief from it.

The world doesn’t work that way, sadly. The world just gives you a bunch of shit and then tells you to take care of your own damn trouble. And he can’t. But for some reason it’s not taking him down either. They say what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger, but Yixing’s feeling like what hasn’t killed him is just making him want to be dead anyway.

Not that he could ever kill himself. He doesn’t know how those people do it, that quick way out, that finality. He’s looked at the options before, but even the one time he tried, he knows it didn’t work because he couldn’t get himself to grab a big enough handful of pills to swallow down. He woke up again the next morning, groggy and sick to his stomach, but alive. He’s woken up again ever single morning since then and it’s still not gotten any easier, admittedly. He can’t imagine how many more years of it he needs to sit through.

He’s glad he’s in one of the lesser neighbourhoods of the city or else people would definitely already have opened their windows to shout at him to be quiet, or maybe just called the cops on him. He can’t blame them, he’s screaming at the sky for seemingly no reason whatsoever. He must look like a crazy lunatic to whoever’s watching. All those eyes that could gaze upon him without ever really knowing what goes on inside his mind.

All those people whose hands he shakes, whose acquaintance he makes, whose smiles he answers with ones of his own. All those people he socialises with who don’t even know what a theatre play he’s putting up in front of their very eyes. How much it strains him to interact with them, to talk to them, to even merely be in their presence. How long he lies in his bed at night wondering why a life requires of a person to be social.

He comes to a stop eventually, dropping his head to his chest and closing his eyes as his breathing rages. He slowly steps over to the side of the road so the lone, stray car in this area at this time of night can pass him by. And then he just thinks what the hell and something along the lines of screw this. He walks back to the middle of the street, looks pointedly in one direction, then the other, and then flops himself down in the middle of the street.

Looking up at the sky, at the dark of the night in which the occasional star blinks, he thinks once more of his little sister and her wonderboy. He thinks of the people who have made his life worthwhile so far. He thinks of the music and the dancing, and the way a hand on his back or an arm around his shoulders can feel so good sometimes. How the same damn thing can feel like a torture created in hell and brought to the surface of the earth just to punish him with.

He thinks of all the things he’ll never be able to do, all the things he wishes he could do. He thinks, once more, of Chanyeol, and decides that that is wasted effort and he should let it go. ECCC2017 goodness: my recap

Ok, so I've actually never written a blog, nor am I on tumblr too much, but I had such an incredible experience at my first comicon that I thought I should write a bit about it! Let's see how this goes. It all started when Sam and Cait (and Eddie), posted that OH SO ADORABLE video from the makeup trailer telling everyone they would be at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle. I was so busy at work that day, it was almost a blur. Twitter was abuzz about it, and my girlfriends and I were messaging back and forth like....I'm going, how can I not go, are you going? We have to go! And before I knew it, I was telling one of them...just buy me a ticket!! I'll make it work! And alas....ECCC2017 was a go. The opportunity to see Sam and Cait in person, and also a chance to meet 7 of the most wonderful girlfriends in the same city? SIGN ME UP! The first night in Seattle was so much fun! 7 of us (none of us had ever met, but have been talking on twitter every day for about a year), completely clicked so seamlessly, it was like we had met 10 times before! Meeting them was seriously the highlight. Ok yes, seeing Sam and Cait at the same con was also an out of body experience :). Besides majorly fangirling over seeing our faves the following day, the night i arrived at the hotel and meeting and spending hours laughing and drinking and eating lots of non MPC approved snacks, and playing Cards Against Humanity, and Never Have I Ever.... was priceless! The next day, on verra little sleep (how can we sleep when we were gonna see Sam and Cait the next morning!!), we arrived at the convention center at 7:15am. We mayyyy have gotten 4 hours of sleep night before, and that’s being generous! The doors were going to open around 10am, and we just HAD to get up close and personal at that panel. We arrived so early we were super close to the front of the line. It wasn't so much a line as a....smush together and stand for 3.5 hours... But heck, for them it was worth it, sore bodies and all.

They didn't let us in until 10:30, so needless to say our legs were about to fall off. When the time came to herd us thru, the organizers said..."no running".... ummm...yeah good luck with that. So we "walked super fast" and tried to get pretty close, but our squad of 8 kinda broke up in the shuffle and some of us grabbed seats in row 5, and the other girls a few rows behind. Still great vantage points! Cait came out first looking absolutely adorable. And in that leather jacket she wears soooo well. She looked beautiful in all black! Then Sam came out IN A KILT! Hallelujah!! It's been so long, I was like...are my eyes deceiving me?? They were not. And then he killed us with a wee kilt twirl. Lawwwwwd! Cait laughed! They seriously make each other laugh, oh...about every 5 seconds. And they were both wearing black leather jackets. As per usual...matchy matchy. The panel was great! They're just SO giggly and adorable and happy together, you can't help but feel the same! I love how much Cait teases him. It's the cutest thing ever to witness in person! They truly are just such bright lights and so engaging and caring and they love their fans so much. It's so evident when you watch them together.

There were tons of Q&A questions, and one of my girls, @heyheykatiemae asked one too!! It was perfect. Cait said ‘Hi Kate’...and I think we all died. Of course, after the fact, I now have like tons of questions I'll ask next time! The panel was about an hour or so, and after taking tons of pictures (most came out blurry....damn those low lights in the event room!), alas, the panel was over. We all had autograph tickets for Sam and/or Cait for that day after the panel but the room was already full so we were told we can go back for the 2nd shift around 4pm. So instead, we grabbed lunch and then headed to the hotel where they were doing the group photos! Omg, soon enough I would get my samcait sandwich!!! Kind of a dream! Long lines were completely fine bc it gave us time to catch our breath. Although, the nerves were definitely rampant! I mean, these two beautiful humans would be NEXT TO US in a matter of minutes. Never having a con experience before I didn't know what to expect regarding the photos . People around us who had already taken their solo pic with Sam said it's super quick and u barely have enough time to say hi! I wore my Unusual Lady tshirt, and under it I had my MPC shirt. Yes, my plan was to flash Sam the MPC shirt after Cait saw my Unusual Lady shirt. I also recently got into knitting so I knitted them both hats! Granted they'll be in 80 degree temps in South Africa, but eventually they'll be back in cold Scotland! Hearing that the photos would be super fast, I had no clue how I would say hi (or ramble incoherently), give them their hats, flash Sam (uhh the MPC shirt, that is), AND take a pic w them in the minimal time allotted! I was on line to take my pic, and after dropping off my jacket and bags on the nearby table, I heard NEXT! I saw them standing there and omg are they tall and gorgeous, and as I walked up to them I THINK I held out my arms and said Hiiiiii! I heard Cait scream and point to my shirt and smile! My unusual lady shirt!! I quickly pulled up my shirt to show Sam the MPC one underneath. And omg thank goodness I held down the shirt so there was no actual flashing 😳.. and he pointed and smiled and said that's great! I then mumbled...I knitted you both hats! Mind u, as I walked up, someone literally snatched my bag with the hats from me and put them into a box with other gifts. So after I said I knitted u two hats, I remember Sam saying oh great! In the blink of an eye I was between the two of them, and both of their arms were around me, and mine around them. Hello out of body experience.

Oh wait...let's back up slightly. So the day of the Con, I said to the girls..ok so I want to show Sam my MPC shirt after Cait sees the unusual lady shirt , and I said my fear is that I'll forget to pull my shirt down for the pic. Well, lo and behold half of my shirt was up for the pic. 🙈. As I was flashing Sam, I heard the organizer go MOVE. Umm gee, thanks for the time. So I ran between them for the pic and I remember pulling my shirt down, but I guess not all the way! When the pic was printed I was like oh nooooo 😂. But heck, it gives the pic more of a pop of color, and to be honest, no one is even looking at me when those two stunning humans are in that pic! Ok so back to being in between them... they both really squeeze tight and I remember that feeling so well! The photographer said.. READYYYY ... and then there was the FLASH. Then he yelled NEXT ! I said thanks and ran off. Problem was I ran the wrong way bc I was so flustered and then I hear someone say..wrong way! And I ran back to the correct exit side like a chicken with my head cut off. Thankfully there was no video of this! I tried to wait for my friends bc I was the first to go, but we had to move it along. After we were all done, there was a lot of screaming and squee'ing!! It really felt so rushed and I wish they gave us more time, but omg it was still so amazing taking a pic w them! They really are so tall in person! And so gorgeous and so kind!! Sam's leather jacket was so soft! And I remember putting my arm around Cait and it ended up on her arm! And Sam's hand ended up on my side and his fingers were pressed down. *faints*

So after we picked up our hard copy pics, we had a little time before the autographs. We composed ourselves. Ok, who am I kidding, there was zero composure as we all rehashed our picture experience with one another! We were freaking out! Next stop...the autographs! We lined up rather early but neither Sam nor Cait were in the room as of yet. It was so intimate! Didn't realize the room would be so small and cozy. They each had their own table next to one another but they were somewhat on opposite ends. After about 10min or so, Sam came in! So he walked in to all of us hootin and hollerin. I can't believe I just used the phrase hootin & hollerin. Does anyone say that anymore? Anyway.... when he walked in he did his cute schoolboy smile and wave. Granted I was just next to him for a photo but he was so close again! Cait was gonna be another few minutes bc she was still taking individual photos with fans. Because of this, they allowed the people who only had Sam autographs to move up in line while the others (I only had Cait bc Sam was already sold out) waited on Cait. I actually thought that half of the room would start to move up in the line, but it was only maybe 10 people or so. The others had both Sam and Cait, or just Cait. After a few min Cait arrived to a raucous applause. Not to mention a banging on the table by Sam when she walked in, and his big smile at her as she sat down. Such an adorable goober! Ok where was I... so we were waiting for the line to move and all of a sudden the lights went out! Then u hear Cait go... ladies, this is not the way to get to Sam! 😂 To which everyone laughed. When the lights came back up, both Sam and Cait were leaning back in their chair looking at each other and smiling. They continue to kill us. Sam was just sitting there alone, cause at the time no one was lined up at his table. So he made a funny comment like, where is everyone? I was standing so close and decided to talk to him. Cause I mean...why not, right? So I said yeah what's the deal. I said something like I'll keep you company. So he looks at me and goes (with a hand waving gesture) come on over. And then he winked. And then I died. I of course wasn't allowed to hop over the rope (darn), but that wink and smile was everything. A few minutes later Sam walked over to Cait, put his arm around her and scrunched down to her, whispered something, and then stood up and hand gestured that she talks too much, basically saying that's why he has no one in his line. Haha! He's the cutest, and he can never stay away from her! She laughed. We all swooned.

So I had brought with me the main promo card picture of Jamie and Claire from S1. I had Ron D. Moore sign it while ago and thought it would be great for Cait to sign it too. I was so sad I wasn't able to buy Sam's autograph ticket bc he was sold out. Cait is seriously so stunning. She just radiates joy. She is so genuine and so warm and friendly. You could truly tell she was having such a great time! She needs to go to cons more often! She's just so real, you can't help but smile in her presence. I was so thrilled to see how much love she was getting at this con. I mean...we all love Sam, that goes without saying! But Cait never attends these events, so to see all the attention and admiration from the fans, it was really a sight to behold. Both she and Sam are legit mesmerizing in person! They are just so beautiful, with such beautiful hearts. Sorry, got distracted there for a minute...ok, so it was finally time to walk up to Cait. I had my season 1 promo pic for her to sign, as well as a gorgeous pic of Cait that a couple of my friends & I had printed out to surprise one of our girls who couldn't be here. You really do lose all sense of speech when looking right at her! She signed both pictures and then i rambled. Earlier on, when I took my pic with her and Sam, I had brought them hats that I knitted, but someone snagged them from me so fast and put them into a box, so I asked Cait about it! *burrows head in sand*. I was like...hi! Question for you! So when we took our pic, someone took these hats I had knitted for you and Sam, and I was was wondering if you'll get them? So she goes, oh yes, they put everything in a big box for us and we'll definitely get it! She thanked me! Then she looked at my unusual lady shirt and said, with a big smile, thank you so much for supporting. I said oh of course, I'm so happy to. It's such a great charity and you do amazing work. She thanked me again, and I floated away. So, as I mentioned earlier, I didn't have a Sam autograph, but after leaving Cait's table you end up walking right past Sam to head out of the room. No one was in front of him at the time, so I verrrrry slowly walked by, while holding my picture that Cait just signed. His handler (not sure if that's the correct name) holds out his hand (to take my autograph ticket), but I said...I don't have one *sad face*, he was sold out. He felt so bad that he handed me (also with a sad face), one of Sam's headshots that was sitting there, unsigned. So I said thank you and then Sam looked up at me. He also held his hand out for my pictures, and I said....you were sold out, so you won't be able to sign my picture. I still had my sad face on, which was valid! He looked sad too and said oh noooo. He then put out his hand and goes..I'll sign it! Then he takes the picture from me. His handler lady says, did u buy an autograph? I was lost in the moment & didn't say anything, so she gives Sam a dirty look, he looks at her, continues to sign and goes...I'll pay for this one. DEATH. DEAD. GONE. He's the sweetest person in the world!! I cannot believe he did that! Then I proceeded to say thank you and blurted out...I'M A PEAKER TOO! I DID A 5K LAST WEEKEND. Yes, I blurted! He goes oh that's great! So good, way to do it. Then I left....walked into the hallway, and screamed with my girl Katie, because she was standing there next to me basically the entire time while waiting to have him sign her picture. So yeah...that moment was kind of everything.

Sam and Cait are just incredibly generous and genuine. Such good people. The OL fans at this con were so respectful and gracious and I enjoyed meeting other twitter and tumblr fans, as well! It was just the thrill of a lifetime seeing Sam and Cait together at the con. And what made it even better was getting to spend it with 7 of the best girlfriends, and going thru this experience together. They also had incredible experiences with both Sam and Cait, as highlighted wonderfully in @heyheykatiemae's blog! Take a gander, if you haven't already! My first con was absolute perfection. Fingers crossed they go back again next year, because we're all currently saving up money for ECCC2018 :). Ok well, that’s about all! Thanks for reading my ramblings! xx
