Dream is ruining his career in the most interesting and sad way.

There were so many drantis at twitchcon and it makes me nervous, even in general just him being outside, because somehow the hate for him is getting worse and they are getting bolder. Like, theres tiktoks of you getting called a pedophile with hundreds of thousands of likes and you do nothing?

The worst part is that dream is fully aware. He knows what they call him, the jokes they make, and how people view him. Yet keeps putting off addressing the allegations and continues putting himself in bad situations. I dont care about him using the old snapchat, i care about how it'll look for the people who convinced themselves he stopped using it after the allegations. I dont care about him hooking up, i care about him somehow choosing the worst people for it and not being careful enough. I dont care about him using dating apps, but when its ones as casual as bumble and tinder theres bound to be people who match with him and dont like him, who will use it for bad things. Not only that, but posting things he knows are cringe because "he finds them funny", like at some point setting yourself up that much should be considered selfharm

He only has himself to blame because hes had plenty of time to drop the thing addressing the drituation. i didnt know it was possible but somehow it keeps getting so much fucking worse and dream dropping the video is the only thing that could stop it or slow it down. It's been over a year and he has done nothing but post a vague statement when he wasnt even fullly aware of what was going on. I think he has enough evidence to make a good statement about it, thats not the issue, the problem is that hes not posting it because hes busy doing other things and doesnt want to bring it up again.

The fandom is eating itself alive while everyone calls them groomer apologists, doesnt he realize how tiring it is? I think more people are gonna leave soon and if he keeps pushing it back he wont have a big enough fandom to support him through it. He's obviously not gonna gain fans from posting it, and if he doesnt drop it then he wont gain any from his new projects either. He's so fucking stupid and i dont understand what hes thinking.

but sadly i just cant connect or resonate with luz or amity. nor the species. palisman? well, maybe flapjack since he is cute and im sad that he died. and yes it sucks that disney has canned it as disney is stupid.

maybe its because of lumity. maybe its because of the mention of the term demons. maybe its because it gets dark and traumatic quite quickly.

maybe its because dana terrace insulted people who disagreed with her agenda of using this series for lgbt ppl.

its never wrong for lgbt ppl n nonbinaries of wanting to find a conduit/outlet to express themselves. i acknowledge their presence, they're ppl after all. sadly i do have my concerns of children and teen kids finding their sexualities THIS prematurely. its better for them to find their hobbies and friends and goals and dreams first before coining their own sexualities due to media influences. and tbh i grow up in Hong Kong which is actually conservatitive as an entire capsule. my teachers and church taught me to avoid this at all cost. and i perhaps am on the spectrum of being more conservatitive.

yet whenever i voice out my concerns and reasons, ppl bash me. because they think im dissing a fabulous show and they also claim that im homophobic. not helped that the fanbase is mainly from USA and UK and Euorpean and America.

And I’ve realized that I and many can’t watch things that not only fail to match preferences, but also when a fanbase is this unacceptable to people who have a different viewpoint.

i never said that homo people and non-binary are crap. i just dont feel that way or agree with their ideas. and most of the time i just let them live. you can call me indifferent but i really dont want to care.

yet they dont care. all they think is "you dont support theowl house means you are homo and a disney apologist"

i was young, so i was taught to be afraid.

yes i acknowledge my child self was being linear. yet simultaneously i have been feeling painful for not feeling the same support as anyone else. because back when the owl house was announced, i was interested actually! after all im interested into the magic genre to an extent!

its just that after details about it was released and that enchanting grom fright came out, i no longer have the resonance. which was sad as i did glimpse that amity was showing her true colors in a positive manner.

its ok if all of you still want to fight for lgbt nonbinary trans rights. its your choice. i cant and wont object too much if you dont feel like changing your choices. live your own lives.

but pls, dont accuse me just because i think differently and is straight. and i have the right to appreciate the show despite not liking it.

Feel free for all of you to watch the owl house because you like it for your own reasons.

honestly i understand how you feel bc i admittedly used to hate c!sam too, but lemme offer my two cents on this,,,

c!sam imo can be a potentially good dad and the hotel arc proved it. he was gentle and patient with tommy, and literally called c!bbh out when bad said he wanted tommy on the eggpire's side ("they're CHILDREN, and his mental state is already so degraded, i mean... he's a KID.")

as for the prison stuff, lemme try to explain (honestly going to @/farfran is better for c!sam stuff)

c!sam said that tommy should be dead, at no point during that conversation did he say he wanted tommy to be dead. does that justify what he said to him? no of course it doesn't, he still yelled at tommy and didn't listen to him when tommy said he wasn't trying to break dream out. although technically you could make the argument that sam had no real way of knowing if tommy was telling the truth in that moment, bc don't forget that ctommy was stuck with dream in that cell for a while, and cdream is a master manipulator, he could've easily gotten inside tommy's head again, and sam would not have known.

also despite c!sam being the warden, he has quite literally no training on how to handle every possible situation on what could happen at the prison, so c!tommy sneaking in with invis potions is most certainly something c!sam would not have expected to happen (also the fact that tommy didn't even want to return to the prison after he was revived due to the trauma he got from dying.)

c!sam didn't raise a hand to tommy during that conversation, bc despite what sam said, he cannot ever bring himself to harm tommy, he's grown too attached to that kid. tommy got off with practically a slap on the wrist, when if it was anyone else, sam would've actually killed them.

as for sam's role as the warden, it's part of his corruption arc that the prison is fucking him up. he has to hear c!dream talk everyday about tommy, and I can only assume that it's dream bragging and talking with sadistic glee about exile. that would fuck anyone up, not to mention that the prison is not a welcoming place. it's dark and empty, with no windows. sam is the warden bc he believes no one else should bear the burden of such a job, because it sucks.

I'm not a c!sam apologist by any means, but I do think he gets more fandom hate than he deserves. he's an actual morally grey character, and while he has done fucked up things, one thing that has remained consistent is that he never has, and never will stop caring for c!tommy.
