Our Stance on Non-Traumagenic Systems
After taking the time to read on some things and looking into other things, we, the Starlit Mirror Shards, have decided that we are anti all non-traumagenic systems. Our exception is with endos where we are neutral, but we still will have a DNI with them.
We, as a traumagenic system, find it immensely invalidating and disheartening to see the multitude of "no trauma" systems while claiming to be exactly how OSDD/DID is. This is a mental disorder, not something you can just naturally experience just because. You can't "make" other parts of you to express something. It just... we just want nothing to do with them.
Now, our reasoning for being Endo neutral is due to the argument of how some systems take on being endo in order to not face the fact that they are actually a system. While we respect this, we do not want to associate with people in that state along with opening the flood gates for other endo systems to associate with us. We want to interact with others who are actively trying to understand themselves and work on themselves with their systems, who at the very least acknowledge that they are a system due to trauma that they may not understand. If you are in a state of denying the fact you are a system but hiding behind being an endo system, it just... it feels wrong and makes us think what else are you hiding/lying about at the moment. The interactions just wouldn't feel authentic and disconnected.
For systems who identified as endo before but now accept that they are, in fact, an OSDD/DID system, we accept and respect you fully. We will not judge your past reaching this point, and we will support you moving forward in whatever your healing and growth are.
If you do not agree with our standpoint, please feel free to block us or not associate with us. We will keep syscourse to a minimum as well on our page as we do not want to waste our time arguing over our viewpoint.
Thank you.

I love their relationship.
Real question: since Bular has presumably been with the Janus order for a long time, now, do you think he has at least some knowledge of human technology? Do you think he has a phone to use for emergencies? Does he know what a meme is?

Searching for the C
Fandom: Tales of Arcadia (Cartoons)   Rating: PG Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships/Characters: Douxie, Archie, Merlin, Original Characters
Chapter Two of Two: School's Been Blown to Pieces Dee finds himself stuck hundreds and hundreds of years in the past with absolutely no idea how he got there or how he can possibly get back. He turns to the only people he think could save him but finds strangers there instead. Fortunately such a terrible accident was in some ways foreseen and Archie is on his way.
Exhausted, he sat by the side of the road in the lush grass by a bush with bright red berries. He stomach rumbled and he wished he had asked the delicatessen for something, anything, to eat. It was probably a really stupid idea to try and eat the berries but he had no other options. He doubted he could just ask someone for a tin of beans or sandwich.
He tore of his shoes and socks instead, entirely unsurprised to see the blisters waiting for him. He lay out on his back waiting for his wounds to take him, feeling the blood pulse through his body as all of him throbbed.
“You seem… young for a wizard, if you don’t mind my saying,” said a voice haughtily from behind.
Dee spun around to look for the wondrous person who spoke to him in English like God, the bastard, intended. “What no, what are—” he frowned, seeing nothing but a medium sized house cat wearing glasses, “— you talking?”
The cat nodded curtly. “Pleasure to meet your acquaintance. Call me Archie,” he extended a paw as though that were a perfectly normal thing for a cat to do.
“Dee,” Dee replied, shaking his paw partially stunned and not entirely sure if he should trust the cat. “Are you… that ‘familiar’ the toad fairy was talking about?”
Archie’s brows raised, which was apparently something he could do quite easily. “Absolutely not. I didn’t spend the best years of my life at the W.A.U. to be mistaken as any old ‘familiar.’ I am a fully trained wizard’s associate, thank you very much,” he sniffed.
“Wow,” Dee replied, not knowing what else to say.
“Yes exactly,” Archie nodded. “That is of course assuming you are the wizard I have been assigned to assist,” he narrowed his eyes. “You are a wizard, aren’t you?”

My favorite idea for after the storm Pricefield is that Chloe gets far more careful and Max gets far more reckless.
Chloe takes many important lessons from the storm. One of them is that her life is sacred and shouldn't be risked for fleeting moments of adrenaline. She can't imagine purposefully endangering the life Max spared. That's why she spends the rest of her life with far more caution than she ever knew in the Bay.
Max took a lesson from the storm, too. Mainly "Fate is an asshole, and I will do whatever I want forever."
I find this idea funny because A: I love the idea of Chloe realizing that she's the careful one now. B: On a less funny note I love the idea of Max letting go of her shell and spitting in the face of fate by living in whatever way makes her happy. Especially after spending a week witnessing the fragility of life. C: On a more funny note I love the idea of both girls thinking back on their time in Arcadia Bay and Chloe going "Man. I can't believe I used to act like that. I was so reckless and stupid." while Max is going "My biggest regret is that I never tried kicking Nathan in the balls and then rewinding. I should have got him at least once."

date night -
she lets her mind wander off with wild thoughts at times, of what ifs and such - the vivid pictures it conjures in some sort of daydream. what they could have been now. where they could go, could have seen. her favorite comes back to her at night, often as she lays awake in the flickering candlelight. a date, perhaps. a journey to providence point, where they could look upon ishgard and he could tell her stories. they had so little time before, so very little. a small indulgence, a guilty pleasure, these dreams were. but in the moment they were almost real.

Bae is the good ending, actually
I would argue that not only is Bae the good and moral ending, Bay is the evil, immoral and - dare I say - selfish ending.
Let’s start by stating the obvious - the ending choice of Season 1 is a form of trolley problem.
A trolley problem is a type of thought experiment which presents you with a moral problem. The basic parameters are as follows: You find yourself near railroad tracks. There is a main track and a side track. There is a trolley coming down the main track. There are people both on the main track and on the side track. The people standing on the track the trolley is travelling down are in mortal danger. You can’t stop the trolley, or remove people from the track. The only thing you can do is to pull the lever and direct the trolley to the side track, thereby sparing people on the main track, but killing those on the side track.
Obviously, in the scenario we are analysing, the trolley is the approaching storm, the town of Arcadia Bay and all its denizens are located on the main track, Chloe finds herself on the side track and Max can pull the lever to divert the deadly danger from Arcadia Bay towards Chloe by using the photograph to erase the events of the week.
Since the last choice of Season 1 is a trolley problem, I think the moral solution is the same as with all other trolley problems – do nothing and let things happen. Let me explain.
Often, when presented with a trolley problem, people instinctively adopt a utilitarian approach. Utilitarianism is an ethical system which favours actions that decrease the amount of suffering in the world.
If there are two people on the main track and only one person on the side track, the utilitarian solution would be to pull the lever, because two deaths would cause more suffering in the world than one.
If there’s a young person on the main track and an old person on the side track, the utilitarian solution would be to pull the lever, because the young person hasn’t had the chance to live out their life to the fullest yet, so their death would cause more suffering.
If there is a person with a big family on the main track and a lonely person on the side track, the utilitarian solution is once again to pull the lever, because the death of someone who would be missed by many would cause more suffering than the death of someone who wouldn’t be missed by anyone.
I imagine that most people would be instinctively willing to agree with the first solution. Saving two people instead of one person? That makes sense. But I think (or at least hope) that most people would disagree with the next two examples, of the old person and of the lonely person. Who are we to judge who is more “worthy” of life and whose death would cause more suffering? But realize this - when you consider the quantity of lives at stake, your thought process is exactly the same as when you consider their quality.
If you choose to pull the lever in a trolley problem, you have usurped for yourself the right to judge who is more worthy of life. You have usurped for yourself the right to kill the people on the side track. Even if it’s an entire town on the main track and only one person on the side track. When you pull the lever and direct the trolley to the side track, you kill that one person. The fact that you saved the people on the main track doesn't erase that. Ends do not justify the means.
From my point of view, the moral answer to any trolley problem is to do nothing, because no matter how insignificant the life of the person on the side track may seem, nobody has the right to judge them unworthy of life.
A purely utilitarian approach to a trolley problem fails to take into account the substantive difference between letting things happen and actively causing someone’s death.
The final choice is made not on Monday, but on Friday. On Friday, Chloe is no longer in danger. Max can redirect the mortal danger from the town to Chloe, but it requires her action. On Friday, the "natural" course of events which doesn't require any input from Max is for the storm to level the town. If you sacrifice Chloe on Friday, you're killing her. You're pushing her back onto the barrel of Nathan's gun. But if Max sacrifices the town, she's only letting things that have been in motion since Monday proceed. She lets them proceed, because to stop the storm, she would have to kill someone. Max simply refuses to pay such a high price.
Having established the sheer immorality of sacrificing someone "for the greater good", let's move on to the selfish part. If Max sacrifices Chloe, that means she values her guilty conscience more than Chloe's life. That she doesn't want to live with guilt more than she wants to live with Chloe. Notice that when the storm comes, Chloe says it all happens for a reason and it couldn't be any other way. Only when she sees how distraught Max is, she does a 180 and offers her sacrifice. Her offer is mainly motivated by the desire to save Max from her guilt. The selfish thing would be to accept Chloe's sacrifice.
