it was one of the few times iris had seen orion looking un-something. unhappy. uncomfortable. unsupportive. narrowed eyes and hand on chin. blink-and-she’d-miss-it pose of damn near nail-biting. not that he was the only one, standing off in the wings. watching the show like the rest of them, as misfit alley had jennifer — their jennifer — belting out alongside G.
hands in hair. grinding, in a way that had the crowd surge. jennifer bends back, still vocalising, playing out to a camera, while G has their hands on her. not fully practiced, but there was no doubt about the way everything popped and sizzled. it was,
and iris feels her lips twist, wrong. the first and only word her mind supplied, while rowan started to pace. that mile a minute discussion, to anyone who would listen. something about chaos theory. something about cheating. and were it not for the way they continued to watch, in almost horror, as a hand was in G’s hair, pushing them down, there were only a couple of ways to interpret that comment.
devyn and august flank orion, silent in their assessments. which suited iris perfectly fine, letting rowan take up all the air. filling in the gaps between thoughts. swearing, pissing, whining. because the crescendo hits, the sound drops, and she doesn’t have to be a psychic to know what kind of shot would be plastered over ‘the beat’ soon.
image firmly stuck behind her eyelids, as jennifer and G are heaving chests, foreheads against the other. cheers blowing out whatever they had said to each other. separate, after forever and a day, for G to shout out to her. to have her wave and walk and skip and run off stage, thanking, loving, waving at everyone.
and then she sees them. like her band, her friends, are the ones in the wrong. iris would like to say she knew jen better than this, better than the back of her own hand, but there’s a fury there, wrapped under glitter and leather. it’s hidden by the jacket she pulls on, pushing past them all, and out the exit before they can get in another word.
but it’s carried in the stiff shoulders and slap of her boots.
rowan doesn’t know any better. quick and loud and while they all file out, one by one, watching jen throw her shit in a bag and keep moving, rowan can’t help it. hand on her shoulder, pulling her around, as he is yelling. “are you kidding me?!”
“leave it, rowan—” hand in unhelpful hand, iris tries to pull him off. stop shaking her, she wants to say, yet she is shaken off.
“no wonder people think we cheated! you were practically fucking on stage!”
hurricane jen. silence of the lamb. jokes they had since the beginning, for those times when jen had been a single-minded angry girl, in ripped jeans and band-aids on her hands. setting her off in one direction, and watching her explode. devyn had said something only a few months before, about being more concerned than usual with jen. like they hadn’t seen her let off steam in far too long.
on some level, as her lower lip twitches, iris sees it. like a car crash she just couldn’t turn away from. orion might’ve tried to get between the two, safety first, while iris pushes august back but. jen still gets a hand in.
no slap, just a sob. low. from too deep down in her to be anything but honest.
“holy shit.”
only words iris gets out, as jen shoves that finger at rowan’s chest, despite orion’s best effort to keep them apart. “do you think i wanted to do that?!”
she’s arguing, far too fast and far too loudly, finger still jabbing into rowan’s chest. rowan, who tried his damndest now to press for peace, hands in the air, words tumbling out. “jen, jennifer, what—are you o—”
“you made me be the leader! everything i’ve done has been for us! the execs told me i had to, or we’d be in trouble,” too many tears, and that hand finally gets removed, to rub furiously at her eyes. “so yeah, i had to fuck G onstage—”
“—wait, hang on, jen, your mascara—”
“—tissue, orion, where’s the tish—”
“—jen, breathe, hang on, sit, or—”
they’re clamouring now, and iris doesn’t know where to put her hands. where to stand safely. if she should just put some weight on jen’s shoulders to get her down. mostly too, because there was something just so funny about this, about a crowd around one sobbing singer, wiping her nose not nearly fast enough. no, this shouldn’t be funny — maybe later.
“i’ve had to duet with seven, i’ve had to interview with blake! i’m doing the hard shit! so fuck you, rowan! fuck you all for thinking that of me!”
she’s pitchy, hitting that note that fucks with her own ears. hands clamped down on the sides of her head, and jen drops to a squat in the middle of the damn hallway. bawling her eyes out, snotty and gross and iris kind of wishes that jazzy was here. not the first time, and not in that kind of lingering, nostalgic way they all had. but the fact that jazzy was not about smacking some sense into jen, and she always went along with it.
but jazzy wasn’t here, and people were taking notice. iris can’t believe she was going to do this, but the tissues had been retrieved, and subsequently snatched out of orion’s hands. her turn to squat now, shoving at least five of them at jen’s nose.
“get your shit together, lamb.”
channel jazzy. that’s what she was telling herself, as now devyn is like, hey, come on, iris, maybe don’t say that. it’s fine. it was fine. because jennifer fucking lamb was a goddamn prima donna at the best of times, and iris loved her for it. but this was not one of those times — this was something eating her from the inside out.
“yeah, you’re doing the hard shit. rowan can apologise later. but crying in a hallway? are you out of your goddamn mind, princess?” okay, she had to wince at herself there, maybe that had crossed well past whatever jazzy would normally do, but jen was all slow blinking.
big fat tears still leaking out of those eyes of hers, but iris had managed to get her to stop. wiping at makeup, more or less smearing it more than it already had been, but. “you’re the leader. we know that means you have to do some fucked up shit for the rest of us—right, rowan?”
sharp look over her shoulder gets rowan to immediately crumble. “r—right. sorry, jen, i—”
but there’s no time for him to finish that sentence. “so you get up, you wash your face. and we go back to the bus. okay?” and iris asks, “okay?” once more, for good measure, when jen doesn’t say anything.
“yeah, okay, sure.”
“good, now get your ass up, you’re too fucking heavy to carry.”
jen does as she’s told, if only because that look on her face tells iris she’s not sure if she should test otherwise. a mute nod, and into the room they were only half a metre from, their logo on the outside. could’ve avoided this public display, and iris takes devyn’s offered hand to get upright. if there was going to be anything else said, perhaps some part of people’s brains kick in, as some go to follow jen into the room.
just her and devyn, and a very heavy, “holy shit.”
with that, iris finally laughs. the kind of laugh that fizzles out into a note of exhaustion, but for what exactly, she wasn’t sure. “tell me about it. i need a smoke.”

Thank you for the tag @kiki-the-creator @codename-mango and @voile-de-lune this gives me a perfect excuse to ramble and talk in depth again!
1. What do you prefer to be called name-wise?
Iris. Some people know my real life name too, so if you do, please don’t use it on here. I make a serious effort to separate my real life from online life.
2. When is your birthday?
22nd February
3. Where do you live?
Wales, UK. That’s how specific I’m willing to get.
4. Three things you are doing right now?
Listening to music, thinking in general, and considering writing/editing something.
5. Four fandoms that have peaked your interest?
LITG definitely, that’s by far my main one. This blog is a split between LITG and positivity. I’ll chuck Choices, The Haunting of Bly Manor/Haunting of Hill House and Taylor Swift in there too. This blog has way more than just those 4, but those are my main ones.
6. How has the pandemic been treating you?
Back at the start of the year, I was getting better mental health wise, and starting to become a proper adult in general. Then the pandemic hit, and my mental health fully stabilised and has mostly been stable. I’ve had a couple anxious spirals and anxiety attacks since then, but I’ll always have anxiety and depression, it’s all about how I manage my shit and not let it overwhelm me too much. And, ooh! I started my first year of uni in September, and uni in a pandemic is definitely a strange experience. Online lectures actually fit better with me, not having to struggle to hear is great.
7. A song you can’t stop listening to right now?
I’ll cheat, and go for two albums: Folklore and Evermore have definitely made my year! Those two have been on pretty frequent repeat, so yeah x
8. Recommend a movie.
Booksmart and Ladybird. I can’t remember watching anything in the past year, so here’s two recommendations from past years.
9. How old are you?
I’m 19, 20 in 2 months and a day! I don’t always keep a realistic count either, but oh well. It’ll be weird when I do hit my 20s for real though, it appears at the moment I’m likely to have a lockdown birthday.
10. School, university, occupation, other?
University and I’m mostly loving it! I love my course, and am so relieved that past me decided that English wasn’t my thing, or even half the weird stuff I got tempted to do. 4 years ago, I seriously wanted to be a child psychologist despite a dislike of children and sucking at Maths and needing a B to even take Psychology. I scraped a C, so Psychology was out, thank god.
11. Do you prefer hot or cold?
Cold by far. I hate hot weather and the summer with a passion. With cold weather, you can add more layers, hot weather you can’t do much, just get more and more uncomfortable!
12. Name one fact others might not know about you.
I want to be bilingual/trilingual in terms of long term life goals. I’m very slowly teaching myself French and Welsh. Both languages are on hold for a bit, but I plan to pick them back up.
13. Are you shy?
Yup. I plan words in my head when I do speak, usually the conversation has continued without me in groups, hell, even group chats that happens! For me to go unfiltered I have to be very comfortable with you, so if you’re starting to hear me talking about more weird stuff (I call it weird o’clock for a label) you know I’m very comfortable, especially so if my messages sound weird and I sound high. Which I’m not, just unfiltered.

15. Biggest pet peeves?
Slow walkers, noisy eaters, people who eat with their mouth open, people who move/take my stuff (like, I had it like that for a reason.), loud people, people being nuisances late at night, peer pressure/influencing people in general (I’m pretty damn stubborn, so if I don’t want to drink, there’s no way that you’ll influence me to), arguments, large groups, people who use me for a therapist, dogs (that’s more me not being comfortable with loud noise, things jumping up on me, being absolutely terrified of dogs/having a genuine trigger for them), people who mock strange/rare stuff about people (a serious amount of stuff about me is strange/weird. So you’ll need to find a different person if you want something not weird!), interrupters, being ignored deliberately, and I think that’s it! Phew, that’s a lot.
16. What is your favorite “dere” type?
I used to be into anime, but that was way too long ago, so I have no clue.
17. Rate your life from 1-10
Likely a 7/8. As my mental health is mostly stable, I can actually write and do creative stuff without letting other people tell me it sucks (well, if you hate my stuff so much, do you really need to tell me? Heck no, in my opinion anyway.) I don’t quit stuff just because I get negative feedback any more,
18. What’s your main blog?
I only have this one! My LITG/positivity/random crap one, which started as a mental health recovery/positivity and fandom blog, then gradually got more chaotic as my own creations appeared.
19. List your side blogs and what they’re used for.
I don’t use side blogs, mainly as when I used to have multiple accounts on other social media, I’d always end up sticking to one and neglecting the others. I don’t know how multiple blog people do it, seriously.
20. Is there something people need to know about you before becoming friends?
If your first interaction with me is via an ask box, it might change a little bit once we properly message. I ramble, and talk about a serious amount of strange crap just because it interests me and do spam a lot when I do create stuff, so if spamming makes you uncomfortable, you’ll have to give me a heads up. But also what you see is pretty much what you get, I’m straightforward in that if you’re an arse to me, or people I care about, I will cut people out pretty quickly. I have no patience for people who lash out at others and do set boundaries with people. On a slightly more positive note, a side effect of chatting to me a lot is that I do gush about people’s work a lot. If I love something someone creates, my motto is always telling them! I’m human sunshine for a reason, but even then I can’t always keep it up, so don’t expect me to be constantly happy!

Un palco, uno spettacolo da mettere in scena, un fratello in difficoltà (tre della compagnia ammalati, come racconta nella prefazione della pagina accanto); una mamma che ti sprona, una vocina interna che dice "vai, è il momento"; sempre quella vocina che insiste e ti sobilla verso "una (presunta) botta di follia". E puff, scatta la magia, e Roma, e l' Italia scoprono per la prima volta Carlo Verdone: "Ancora oggi non so perché l' ho fatto: un grande azzardo; e io un po' megalomane".
Seduto su un divano accavalla le gambe, socchiude gli occhi, guarda a ieri non da arrivato, ("in questo mestiere non te lo puoi permettere"), ma da uomo realmente e piacevolmente stupito; da mesi poi lavora alla sceneggiatura del suo prossimo film. Per fortuna è salito su quel palco.
E ho capito di avere un potenziale del quale ero ignaro; è stato un momento di euforia. Concluso tra gli applausi. Andò tremendamente bene. Da quella sera è partita la mia carriera. Papà non voleva.
Come mai?
Conosceva bene la realtà del cinema, le difficoltà per intraprendere e restare in questo mondo: per lui era un mestiere complicato, pericoloso, pieno di fragilità. Diceva: "O sei da primo in classifica, o meglio lasciar perdere. E non so se puoi riuscirci. Studia e pensa a un posto sicuro".
Sua madre?
L' opposto: "Carlè, tu hai un occhio particolare su ciò che ti circonda. È una dote". Però a quel tempo la laurea aveva un valore spendibile Suo padre così addentro al cinema?
Sì. Allora gli attori che duravano, e potevano vivere di questo mestiere, erano pochi: Gassman, Sordi, Manfredi, Tognazzi e Mastroianni.
I fantastici cinque.
Per gli altri arrivavano i dolori, depressi, oppressi dall' ansia e dalla smania per una parte; cercavano mio padre, chiamavano a casa: "Tu che conosci Fellini, puoi parlarci?".
Raccomandazioni
E non mi riferisco a professionisti di basso livello, ma a grandi come Leopoldo Trieste. Per questo mio padre non era convinto, conscio delle mie fragilità, della mia timidezza davanti alla folla.
La proteggeva.
Allo stesso tempo mi consigliava i film da vedere, mi regalava le tessere dei cineclub, i libri di Maupassant, Cechov, Gogol, Verga, Deledda tutta la letteratura di fine Ottocento, primi del Novecento. È stato eccezionale.
Per alcuni scrittori non sono necessari i classici.
È un' enorme stronzata: sapete chi è il maggiore esponente della commedia all' italiana?
Carlo Goldoni. Se riprendete le sue opere scoprirete i segreti dei grandi autori.
Dal passato non si prescinde.
È fondamentale per capire i vari Monicelli, Age e Scarpelli; i capolavori come Metropolis e 2001 Odissea nello spazio sono anche oggi attuali perché nascono da qualcosa di profondo e meditato. Sono immutati.
In "Gallo Cedrone" parla della "modernità di Dante".
Quella è una gag nata in un pranzo di lavoro con Claudia Gerini: eravamo in un locale periferico di Roma per discutere di Sono pazzo di Iris Blond; accanto a noi si siede una coppia, sicuro al primo appuntamento, lei in minigonna, lui un cafone quarantenne che per darsi un tono si lancia in una sperticata lezione di vita: "A lettura è tutto, a casa ho una collezione de libri disumana, e la modernità di Dante te apre un mondo". La Gerini mi fissa e sferra un calcio sotto il tavolo; mi fermo e penso: "Prima o poi questa battuta la metto in un film".

Un grande onore, e mi ha colpito il discorso del Prefetto quando ha definito il mio percorso come un' indagine sull' evoluzione dei caratteri, dei tic, delle nevrosi della nostra società.
Un po' quello che le riconosceva sua madre.
(Ci pensa) Ho sposato il mio lavoro, anche a costo di mettere da parte altri aspetti della vita come le amicizie: quello della scrittura prima, della regia e recitazione poi, sono un impegno perenne, ho la testa sempre lì.
Ha ancora dubbi su cosa ha realizzato Carlo Verdone?
Quelli sono all' ordine del giorno; sa quanti soggetti ho scritto per il prossimo film?
Cinque. Però così mantengo sempre l' idea di ricominciare da capo, come se fossi al mio secondo lungometraggio.
E quando esce un film?
Sono giorni terribili: mi domando se piacerà, su come il pubblico uscirà dalla sala, in quanti andranno. Oggi è più difficile trovare i personaggi per strada. Hanno tutti il cellulare in mano, i discorsi sono a brandelli, non si ascoltano le risposte, e forse perché nessuno si guarda più neanche negli occhi.
2 – VAI IN SCENA, FREGNONE
Prefazione di Carlo Verdone al volume “Uno, dieci, cento Verdone”, pubblicata da “il Fatto Quotidiano"
Questa densa raccolta di ritratti, scattati su un set o in studio, sono il frutto della mia collaborazione con il fotografo Claudio Porcarelli che da un po' di tempo mi invitava a non disperdere tanto materiale interessante che, giustamente, doveva trovare posto in una pubblicazione di prestigio. Quando proposi alla Banca Aletti e al Banco BPM il progetto, ho trovato entusiasmo e curiosità da parte dei vertici.
E così piano piano abbiamo dato il via a questo bel volume che ferma nel tempo le trasformazioni di un attore attratto dall' apparato umano che lo circonda e del quale è sempre stato un profondo osservatore ed instancabile pedinatore.
Sono sempre stato curioso dei tic, delle fragilità, della mitomania, dell' assoluta mancanza del senso del ridicolo di molti tipi che incontravo o incrociavo velocemente in un bar, in farmacia, in treno o dal barbiere. Mi bastava sentirli parlare ed atteggiarsi per risalire al loro dna caratteriale.
Non ho quasi mai sbagliato. E così riuscivo a catturare il loro modo di pensare ed agire di fronte ad un determinato problema.
Ma per alimentare questa mia innata sensibilità non dovevo perdere mai il contatto con la gente. Perché i costumi cambiano velocemente, mutano le nevrosi, cambia addirittura la gestualità, le abitudini, dilaga la superficialità e si fa sempre più strada una sconcertante megalomania. Mio padre Mario e mia madre Rossana mi hanno sempre spinto, fin da adolescente, a guardarmi intorno e a frequentare il mio quartiere, perché se tanto mi divertivo a rifare le voci della gente comune, il mio rione (non distante da Campo de' Fiori) era il teatro ideale per trovare spunti esilaranti.
Con tutta sincerità devo ammettere che mai avrei pensato di diventare un attore. Non era sufficiente ricevere i complimenti durante le mie prime prove recitative, come attore protagonista, in una compagnia teatrale universitaria diretta da mio fratello Luca. Il lavoro dell' attore mi sembrava un impegno per gente senza paura, piena di assoluta passione e con un perfetto e monolitico autocontrollo.
Io non credevo minimamente di avere queste qualità. Timido, riservato, timoroso, credevo di essere inadeguato a presentarmi davanti ad un pubblico pagante. Il mio sogno era quello della regia cinematografica e non mi sarebbe dispiaciuto affatto diventare un bravo documentarista.
Tant' è che più avanti, dopo la laurea in Lettere, ottenni il diploma in regia al Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia.
Ma ci fu un episodio, del tutto casuale, che mi fece acquisire un timido coraggio come attore. Era il 1973 e mancavano sette repliche alla fine di una rappresentazione teatrale universitaria su un testo di Rabelais riadattato e diretto da mio fratello Luca. Quella sera si ammalarono di influenza ben tre attori.
Tutti eravamo disperati perché una quarantina di persone avevano già comprato il biglietto e stavano entrando dentro quella cantina gelida di via Cavour. Colto da inspiegabile folle coraggio dissi: "Li interpreto io tutti. Dai, preparatemi i cambi veloci dietro le quinte". Il resto della compagnia rimase a bocca aperta prendendomi per pazzo.
Chiesi al direttore delle luci di seguire, come suggeritore, l' intero testo per ricordarmi bene le battute degli altri. Entrai in scena come Panurgo e nell' arco di venti minuti avevo già cambiato tre abiti per gli altri personaggi. Portai a termine lo spettacolo con un furore creativo ed interpretativo che sbalordì tutti. Ma in primo luogo me stesso.
Quella sera ebbi la consapevolezza che dentro di me, forse, c' era un potenziale che ignoravo totalmente. Il pubblico si divertì tantissimo e il successo fu tale che quando tornarono gli attori, ancora convalescenti, non li volevamo più. Se ne andarono furibondi prendendoci a parolacce. Ma da quella sera girò la voce che un attore, un certo Carlo Verdone, interpretava a raffica un sacco di ruoli, cambiandosi costume in quindici secondi. E il teatro fu sempre esaurito.
Mio padre, venuto a conoscenza della mia impresa teatrale, mi fece un regalo: mi invitò ad una sua lezione universitaria di "Storia e Critica del Film" dove avrebbe proiettato alcuni filmati di Leopoldo Fregoli, il più grande trasformista che il teatro dei primi del novecento abbia mai conosciuto. Rimasi così colpito ed affascinato che i miei futuri spettacoli teatrali avrebbero avuto, come comune denominatore, la trasformazione continua ed incessante della mia performance in una schiera di personaggi. Non facevo altro che entrare ed uscire in un modo e rientrare e riuscire di scena in un altro. Ma con una fatica in più: quella di dare voce, anima, gestualità e perfetta psicologia ad ogni personaggio.
Uno sforzo di concentrazione spaventoso ma molto gratificante. Chiusi la mia carriera teatrale nel 1981 con "Senti Chi Parla" da me scritto, diretto ed interpretato al Teatro Eliseo di Roma. In quello spettacolo giunsi ad interpretare ventiquattro personaggi.
Dedicandomi ora solo ed esclusivamente al cinema, con qualche incursione importante in televisione, agli inizi degli anni ottanta e alla fine dei novanta, in alcune pellicole e vari sketch tornano i miei personaggi. Ovviamente rivisti e corretti nei tic e negli atteggiamenti attuali. Claudio Porcarelli ha fermato nel tempo alcune delle mie tante "anime".
Un pedinatore di anime che ama la vita e il prossimo, pur nel loro aspetto ridicolo o pietoso, al punto tale da immedesimarsi se non di annullarsi in loro. Questa colorata galleria fotografica è dedicata a mia madre Rossana, la prima persona che credette in Carletto come attore, incoraggiandomi ad affrontare il mio primo importante e terrorizzante spettacolo teatrale nel 1977 con un calcio nel sedere. "Vai in scena, fregnone! Perché un giorno mi ringrazierai". E infatti non c' è giorno che non la ringrazi.

Tokujin Yoshioka
Tokujin Yoshioka. Diseñador y artista de instalaciones espaciales.
Tokujin Yoshioka (1967, Prefectura de Saga, Japón) es un artista y diseñador japonés.
Después de graduarse en la Kuwasawa Design School en 1986, trabajó con Shiro Kuramata e Issey Miyake antes de convertirse en un diseñador freelance en 1992.
En 2000 estableció su propia oficina, Tokujin Yoshioka Design.
La novedosa obra de Yoshioka, en la línea de los diseños o instalaciones espaciales, se puede ver por ejemplo en el concepto de diseño de las tiendas para Swarovski (incluyendo su trabajo para el buque insignia de Swarovski en Ginza, Japón).
Yoshioka ha estado produciendo los diseños de las boutiques para Issey Miyake durante más de 20 años, y también ha diseñado espacios para Toyota; Hermes; Lexus; Peugeot; NTT; BMW y para marcas cosméticas como RMK y SUQQU.
También ha realizado varias colaboraciones con fabricantes de muebles italianos como Cassina; Driade; Kartell y Moroso.
Desde 2002, Yoshioka ha estado trabajando en proyectos de vidrio óptico, incluyendo “Bloque de agua” (permanentemente exhibida en Musee d’Orsay de París), “Silla que desaparece bajo la lluvia” y “Cascada“, la mesa de cristal óptica más grande del mundo.
También ha presentado varias instalaciones espaciales, incluyendo las del Salone del Mobile para Swarovski y Moroso.
En 2008 dirigió la exposición “Second Nature” en Tokio, donde presentó “Venus – Natural crystal chair“, una obra basada en su teoría de la aplicación de leyes naturales en el diseño, y la instalación “Nubes – Instalación“.
Al año siguiente, en 2009, dirigió la exposición especial para Cartier “Memories of Cartier Creations“, donde exhibió la botella de perfume “Moon Fragment” como obra representativa del futuro de Cartier .
En 2010, la exposición “Tokujin Yoshioka Spectrum” se mostró en Corea. Esto incluyó la instalación parcialmente terminada de la “Iglesia del arco iris“, un vidrio manchado de 9 metros de alto que consistía en 500 prismas cristalinos.
La exposición “Sensing Nature” de ese mismo año 2010 en el Mori Art Museum incluyó la instalación dinámica “Snow” de 15 metros de ancho.
Con motivo del 70 aniversario de la marca LG Corporation, compañía madre de LG Electronics, anunció su participación en la exposición de diseño más grande del mundo, el Milano Design Week 2017.
Se trata de una instalación de arte a gran escala bajo el nombre de S.F_Senses of the Future, la cual resalta por su diseño, innovación y la incorporación de una gigantesca pantalla OLED de LG.
Tokujin Yoshioka fue el contratado para dicha exposición por ser un diseñador de talla mundial conocido por el uso de técnicas experimentales innovadoras para reflejar la belleza de la naturaleza y la complejidad de los sentidos humanos.
Ambos temas están acordes con la filosofía de diseño de la marca que “se centra en el ser humano y en el compromiso de innovación -tecnología y diseño innovador- para una vida mejor”.
Con esta muestra Tokujin Yoshioka intenta comunicar su optimismo por el futuro de la humanidad a través de una experiencia de inmersión utilizando luces y objetos cotidianos.
“S.F_Senses of the Future es un fenómeno poético que sólo puede describirse como un tapiz de luz, una dimensión verdaderamente futurista que trasciende los sentidos humanos”, explicó Tokujin Yoshioka.
En 2007, Yoshioka fue seleccionado por la edición japonesa de Newsweek como uno de los “100 japoneses más respetados del mundo”.
Muchas de sus obras forman parte de las colecciones permanentes de museos de todo el mundo, entre ellas el Museo de Arte Moderno (MoMA) y el Museo de Diseño Cooper Hewitt en Nueva York; el Centro Georges Pompidou en París; el Victoria & Albert Museum de Londres y Vitra Design Museum en Alemania.
