The Powers of 7

Hey darlings! Today I’m going to be taking about the number 7 and some of the 7-based practices I do under the cut!

The number 7 is found all over the Bible from the seven archangels, the 7 days it took God to create the world, the seventh day of rest, the command for leprous Naaman to bathe in the Jordan River seven times to effect complete cleansing, the command for Joshua to march around Jericho for seven days (and on the seventh day to make seven circuits) and for seven priests to blow seven trumpets outside the city walls and even how Jesus spoke seven statements in agony from the Cross. Wow that’s a lot of sevens and I didn’t even go through half of the examples found in the Bible! But you may be wondering, what does this have to do with the rituals I do in sevens. And that’s quite simple to answer!

The Spells and Crafts of the 7 Archangels

Archangels, in my opinion, are very powerful spiritual beings that directly serve God can be invoked in rites and spells much like the other spirits I know and were created to do tasks for God. I tend to invoke them in these spells and crafts rather than the other spirits I know since I feel like they have a direct closeness with God that makes the effects more quick and personal. I’ll be listing the spells and crafts as I go on with my posts.

2. Cleaning

While I still don’t really know if I like to do cleaning based activities 7 times because of my practice or habit, what I do know know is that tend to clapp and hum around my room from the door to the walls till I made a full circle around my room 7 times before I go to bed in order to cleanse it of and bad energies it may have accumulated throughout the day; but I’ve started to do it on purpose and it really helps me ground myself in my beliefs while I can’t practice it freely. Also I’ve started to salt my room by dissolving sea salt in a spray bottle filled with sun charged water and mist the air of my room. I do this seven times in intervals of 30 minutes when I get home from school.

This probably sounds super strange but until I can move out from my parents, I gotta purge the negative energy somehow. Later Darlings!

i might have some brain worms right now,,,, i am planning some stuff but i wont go too far into bc spoilers >:]c

half baked story and spoilers for the book under the cut

ok, so in the story of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, AM "wakes up" and decides to take over the world and kill every person on the planet accept for 5 people, deciding to torture them for eternity purely bc of how much he hates humanity. Home doesn't really "wake up" and take over but more or less decides to trap everyone within his walls during a party inside him, never opening his doors to the outside world again. In this au, he's grown sick and tired of the same-old same-old and has grown bitter and hateful with everyone, including Wally. He's not built as a computer in this story but more as he's "rooted" in the ground and he expands Wally's house into an endless void, creating a new and dangerous world for everyone to live in forever.

Home ranks himself as a vengeful god, just like AM, and takes great pleasure in creating a living hell for the neighbors inside. They can never die because Home stitches them back up before they can try and escape. Wally blames himself for Home's actions and has grown extremely paranoid from Home taunting him. There's definitely some bad blood between the two and no one can figure out why. Wally hallucinates quite a bit from the many years of endless paranoia, leaving him wondering if anything he sees or hears is real or not. So he relies on Barnaby to calm him down and ground his reality, but the pooch can only do so much for the little guy.

Barnaby has become quite the grumpy old man, never really finding a reason to crack jokes or smile anymore. He's lost a lot of hope in finding a way out and just wants it all to end. Seeing too many horrors and experienced too many pains, it all becomes way too much for anyone to bare. Especially after 109 years. But he tries to be there for his friends and for Wally.

okay that's it for now! i'll definitely be making more and sharing more info on the story and the rest of the neighbors as time goes on.
