I find it funny how the majority of SL fans are like ”people don’t like Yamiro because they thought Yam was mean to him”
And that’s not the reason I didn’t like the ship - Yam is my favorite character and I do ofc think that even if she was mean, it was deeper than that - she felt something more than betrayal in S3 and I absolutely can get her thought process of why she acts the way she does. So I absolutely support and agree with a lot of what people say when defending and supporting her.
But the real reason I don’t ship Yamiro is because I think both of them are gay.

Hey, it's me again! Bc I loved how insightful your posts about Olek and Ling Yi were, showing you clearly think deeply about the show, I would like to ask you something outside the couple, if that is okay! So, I was rewatching Ep 3 (I have a severe case of brainrot for the two lovebirds) and something that Eyk said about the ships messed me up. He said the company bought 3 German ships. We have Kerberos and Prometheus, but who do you think is the third? I almost lost it. Could it be important?
@inferubim hello hello again, i'm so glad we are all still foaming at the mouth over this show.
i don’t know if the third ship itself is important, but the fact that there are three ships is important, and that importance is twofold: first, it continues the show’s central theme around triangles, and second, the ships themselves serve as a clever bit of foreshadowing for the plot.
triangles are obviously a huge part of the show, both literally and metaphorically. you have the ship company’s logo being the triangle with the line through it (the alchemical symbol for earth) and that symbol is repeated throughout the show in the set and costume design. we see the symbol tattooed behind elliot’s ear, and later on in the “present,” we see it tattooed on maura as well.
the characters are also grouped into sets of three, but never equally. there is an imbalance in each trio, and while that is certainly just a fact of human relationships, given the context of this show, i think it’s an intriguing detail we can’t overlook. maura’s first family unit is with henry and ciaran and her father prefers her to her brother. her second family unit is with daniel and elliot - she doesn’t remember either of them and the two of them are working together to change the simulation, and henry later tells elliot that daniel will always pick maura over him. maura has a love triangle with daniel and eyk and while she is married to daniel, she arguably has a stronger connection with eyk. speaking of the captain, he has three daughters but nina is clearly his favorite as she’s the only one he calls out to by name over and over again. clemence is married to lucien but has an instant connection to jerome and jerome and lucien have a shared history and secret from the war. krester, tove, and ada are siblings with krester and tove being much closer in age to each other than they are to ada. ramiro and angel are lovers but angel is tempted by krester. ling yi and yuk je are both employed by and at the mercy of virginia wilson. i could keep going but i won’t, and i should mention that of all the main characters, olek is the only one who doesn’t have this dynamic. he does have a brief scene with the two stokers, but that’s really it. instead, he has two strong duos - his partnership with jerome and his relationship with ling yi. this may or may not be significant, but when you take a step back and see all the other trios happening on the ship, olek’s lack of one really sticks out even more.
there’s also the fact that more or less everything significant to the plot is presented in a set of three. the three items that can alter the simulation - the pyramid, the remote control, and the lockpicking bug (alfred, you’re doing amazing sweetie). the three distinct time periods - 1899, the 70s/80s look of henry’s office, elliot’s bunker, the soundtrack, etc., and 2099. the three times we see the words “wake up” - on the memorial cross, on the stone pyramid, and on the toy pyramid. and of course, the fleet of three ships that started it all.
which brings me to my second point - the ships and their names directly tie into the events of the first season. prometheus is a titan who stole fire from the gods and gave it to mankind, giving them knowledge and technology, and it’s only after discovering the prometheus that maura and eyk gain the knowledge that there is something deeply wrong about both ships and their entire reality. kerberos is a computer protocol that provides authentication and allows a server and user to identify each other and it was named after cerberus, the three-headed dog that guards the gates of the underworld. many of the passengers on the kerberos are hiding their own and discovering each other’s true identities, and in the last episode, the remaining survivors end up in an afterlife of sorts in the graveyard with all the other failed simulations. i love little details like this when you reach the end of a story and then realize all the breadcrumbs the creators left starting from the beginning. and fun fact, in episode 1, we learn that the prometheus had 1,423 passengers, and in episode 2, we learn that the kerberos has 1,612. which means the kerberos has an additional 189 passengers. i know we’re missing a whole digit, but come on, what a great detail!
i’ll end with this - cerberus’s three heads are said to represent the past, present, and future. you have prometheus as the past, kerberos as the present, and the unnamed third ship as the future. but is that a happy future where everyone is free of the simulation or is that future simply a return to the beginning of the loop as the cycle begins anew? despite ciaran welcoming maura to “reality” in 2099, the fact that they are once again on a vessel named prometheus also with 1,423 passengers should at least make us consider the possibility that they have simply traded environments, swapping a steamship for a spaceship. so perhaps we end at the beginning where the future is the past. after all, a triangle can always fit a circle inside it and vice versa.

I have weird idea that is no ‘dracula au’ but ‘Nina really likes Dracula and wants to make Dracula play’. Probably musical on skates to be in spirit of show
Set probably at least like...two years after season three?
Anyway I decided it would be done by those who were teens/really early in 20s during series, who are in intros.
It is kinda accodring to canon ships, but like...only in case of Nina’s and Luna’s ships. And even then not fully
(oh btw, I imagine Eric and Nina broke up, Nina and Gaston are back together and Eric is over it. Matteo and Luna also broke up)
Also since Dracula has much more male characters I couldn’t give all girls lot-of screentime roles so. Jim and Yam would play lot off less important roles, and Ambar, Emilia and Delfi probably also will get some, maybe even some others
Anyway, starting with characters from Dracula, that are important enough that people who play them won’t have more roles:
Mina Murray/Harker-Nina. Well that was her idea and I think she would like to play Mina, and even if she wasn’t sure she could pull this off especially with skates thing, Gaston and Luna convinced her. Also she they are both good at making observations and drawing conclusions from them.  Also because they have names ending with same letters
Jonathan Harker-Gaston. Well, first of all he is Mina’s fiance/husband, and second. He was supposed to be in Transylvania way shorter than he was. So there is some similiraity here. With difference that Jonathan was being kept ouy of England and Gaston in England. Also I think Nina would love to recreate romantic jonmina moments
Lucy Westernra- Luna. Well cause Mina’s best friend, and also they had sleepwalked. Also because they have names starting with same letters
John Seward- Pedro. ...I admit I don’t have much reason for that except for I prefer to give important role to Pedro than Eric?  (this sounds as I Seward was Mina’s suitor, not Lucy’s well he was Lucy’s but she wrote to Mina he would fit her if she wasn’t already with Jonathan so that’s why I kinda wondererd) Though maybe he does give some vibes especially early first season Pedro in love with Tamara
Arthur Holmwood-Simon. Well he is one of two characters who kissed with Lucy. And her fiance that’s why precised that Luna and Matteo broke up so it wouldn’t be too awkwardXD But also just Simon and Arthur give me more similar vibes that Simon and Quincey?
Quincey Morris- Matteo. Well he is one of two characters who kissed with Lucy. Also Matteo and Quincey give me more similar vibes that Matteo and Arthur. Also there is killing Dracula in team with Jonathan
Abraham Van Helsing-Nico. I dunno really. Probably cause I made Pedro John.
R.M Reinfield-Ramiro. I dunno just imagine him being most likely to agree to be asylum patient who eat bugs but can also make educated converstations. Or maybe he is just easiest for me to imagine as that
Dracula-Benicio. I imagine him wanting that role after only watching some Dracula movies and thinking he is so cool and get the girls and Nina agreeing an thinking to herself ‘We are making it book accurate sucker’ (although she does have some doubts considering it’s her boyfriend who has most scenes with him) (He is kinda too short for this role to be truly book accurate but who cares)
Vampire woman from castle-Ambar, Delfi and Emilia. I think Emilia would dye her hair black and Ambar would play the blond one. I wondered if it shouldn’t be Jazmin instead of Emilia, but I can’t imagine Jazmin as this
Mrs Westernra-Jazmin. I just. Just vibes of throwing out garlic flowers without asking and calling someone maidenless check out
Captain of the Demeter-I think Eric
Mr Swales-I think Jim
Peter Hawkins-I think Yam
First mate of the Demeter-I think Yam
Lady who gave Jonathan crucifix-I think Jim
Priest who married Jonathan and Mina-I think Yam
Woman who go to Dracula’s castle to get back her child-I think Yam
Sister Agatha-I think Jim
Zookeper-I think Yam
Pretty girl in Piccadily-Jim
So this is like roles I think are definitely needed to others I’m not sure. Okay so t just like Jim and Yam would play minor characters. And bigger group is needed than like going from most likely to play it-Eric, Delfi, Emilia, Ambar, Jazmin, Matteo, Simon (cause there is like 9 people on crew of Demeter) ...I don’t think more than nine people is anywhere? So anyway they all would need wigs and maybe some fake mustaches and beards

1899 Episode 6
1. Tove and Krester’s backstory! That shit made me tear up. While I was kinda wrong about the source of Krester’s scar, it was still technically motivated by homophobia, so I’ll count it as a win.
In any case, I think their story is the most heartbreaking so far. That family went through so much trauma, and I can understand the mom more now. Still think she’s wrong for how she’s been acting since, but I can see why she went down this path as a coping mechanism. I can’t imagine being forced to witness a loved one’s rape/knowing your loved ones witnessed your rape, or to feel like it was your fault in Krester’s case.
And I’m hoping the rapist’s ugly homophobic ass was just framing it as non-consensual between his son and Krester. The insinuation made me really uncomfortable, but I trust the creators not to be ones to promote that sentiment.
2. There were a lot of phenomenal performances in this episode. Aside than the whole Tove/Krester flashback, the Daniel/Maura scene was charged with so many emotions. The actors did an amazing job conveying so much with just their expressions.
And I guess my second attempt at a guess regarding Daniel and Maura’s relationship was right. So now I’m pretty sure the boy is their kid. Unless the grave is supposed to be their child’s? The one she allegedly miscarried? But I think it could still be true that she didn’t actually miscarry and was made to forget about her child just like she forgot Daniel.
Regardless, I still really like Eyk and Maura’s chemistry. I’m pretty sure I’m not misreading the vibes between them, which is just awkward for Daniel but like, you can’t blame Maura, she doesn’t remember him. I wonder what’s gonna happen with this little love triangle though. I think the degree of Daniel’s involvement in the experiments will determine how it pans out.
3. Continuing on with the romantic pairings, Ling Yi and Olek are the cutest! I’m totally rooting for this ship. On the other hand, what the fuck was up with Ramiro going for Krester’s dad? Like, I’m pretty sure he’s not gay given how he was talking about loving his wife and that Ramiro just projected his own story to interpret what he was feeling upset about lol.
4. Clemence’s monologue made me think of dreams (expectations) vs. reality and its prevalence in Alice in Wonderland, which I actually watched very recently. Alice supposes a different peculiar world would be so much better but then ends up regretting what she wished for when she experiences its reality. I wonder if that’s an intentional parallel between the two.
Additionally, Henry’s speech about needing to shift one’s perspective made me think of how the show might be commenting on prejudice and the modern mentality of refusing to expand your opinions with knowledge. That’s how I’m taking it at least, especially with the way politics has panned out in recent years lol.
5. This is more relevant to the last episode but the thought really struck me while I was watching this one: I really want to know why certain people weren’t affected by the Call. I was really surprised when some of the main characters in the show were affected by it, while others I didn’t find as significant weren’t. Like, you’d think Krester’s parents would have been the ones eliminated but it was the opposite. Given the show creators’ reputation, I believe this will turn out to be intentional/significant.
6. Daniel banishing Eyk to the Prometheus/ship graveyard. Not cool, my dude.
7. Really want to know what’s up with that rust. Virginia was not so smart to touch it. Like, who in their right mind would touch something growing out of the wall like that? I wouldn’t. Also, the rooms inside those passageways being actually part of the ship was pretty freaky but actually makes a lot more sense.

I only got thru one episode tonight for my SL rewatch but here were some sizzling hot takes on 1x06:
Gastón is so much more mischievous than I remember. He really loves to goof around with Matteo in s1. But I do love their friendship even when they're being so dumb.
Gastina meetcute is adorable. I love how he talks a mile a minute about the book she's reading while she doesn't say a word until the very last second lol.
I had 0 recollection of Nina's reporter job on Fab & Chic but it was fun to see her go up against them to uncover the truth (Foreshadow s2 Detective!Nina). Ámbar/Nina standoff was a great moment I didn't recall. They are the smartest ladies in the bunch so it's nice when that concept is utilized.
Yam is even gayer than I remembered and I already thought she was madly in love with Jim but wow she doesn't give Ramiro a second thought she's just worried Jim paired up with Nico without telling her
I love Luna & Simón so much. Every scene they have gives me the serotonin I need to get through life. I knew they were my favorites in s1A but it's really hitting me all over again why I loved them so much.
Simón being so happy about his choice to come to BA! Look at him! Joining the band! Making Luna smile! MY GUY!
I will always give it to Mambar for being THAT pair. I love how they always perform like a camera is on them lmao

¡Sí! - La Trinidad del Amor: Chapter four
In life, nothing is sure… but you always count on one thing. True Love, the ones who have it are the luckiest people in the world. Not everyone does… but the people in our story do. They fought through Fire, They fought through an ocean, They fought through the sun and the moon. There are six of them, and they form a trinity, the trinity of true love
Okay, here is the second part of the Simbar wedding, the actual wedding day. ¡Sí! - La Trinidad del Amor started as a gift for @putonmyfavoriteshow as the first chapter is dedicated to her but I wanna say that this chapter especially is also dedicated to her and all the other Simbar and Ambar lovers on the internet. She finally gets the happiness she deserves.
¿Alguna vez hubieras pensado que, dado el lugar donde comenzamos, tú y yo éramos una oportunidad de encontrarnos?
“Well guitarista, I am pretty sure this is the best you have ever looked,” Matteo shouted to Simon from the bed in the hotel room after the hairstylist had finished with Simon’s hair, “It was totally worth it to it being necessary for four of us to hold you down so you wouldn’t move. But that’s the price of beauty.”
“Matteo, leave him alone,” Gastón remarked from next to Matteo, even if he also seemed to be on the prink of laughing. Ramiro and Nico had not even tried to keep it and were already folding over from laughter on the couch.
“You guys will be the death of me,” Simon turned back to ward the mirror and stared at his image for a moment. Delfi had been in charge of the men’s wardrobe under Ambar’s direction. Simon and all of his groomsmen were going to be wearing honey-colored bowties accompanied by white dress shirts and black tuxedos. “Pedro, can you give me that notebook from the nightstand?”
“Here you go,” Pedro, his best man, brought his lyrics notebook to him. Simon had written his vows in there, mostly because he wanted them to be in a safe place so he wouldn’t lose them, but also because he didn’t want Ambar to see them and he had a very annoying habit of leaving loose papers all over the place. “Thanks. I just wanna go over them one more time.”
There was a knock on the door once Simon finished reading the vows in his head. They were perfect. He was really looking forwards to getting to say them to Ambar. He looked up as Pedro walked over to open the door.
“Okay, we just got Abuela, Mom and Dad to the ceremony venue,” Rico and Julio came through the door, “Mom has probably already cried like five times.”
“Already?”
“Yeah,” Julio threw himself on the couch, “the first time was when she was looking at your baby pictures with Abuela, the second and maybe the third one was when she saw us in tuxedos. I don’t even know why she cried for the last times.”
“This is your fault Simon, she is gonna be like the whole week at least.” Rico came to him and playfully punched him on the shoulder, “Well, anyways, you have finally become a man. Congratulations.”
Simon chuckled. Rico has terrible at expressing emotion. “I love you too, Rico. And you Julio.”
There was another knock on the door. Simon turned towards it confused. They were not expecting anyone else…
“I came to inspect the groom!” Jazmin burst in as Pedro opened the door. Jazmin was already in full bridesmaid costume, with a full-length shampanja colored dress with a V-neck and her red hair on a braided bun on the top of her head and decked out in gold accessories. Simon knew what the bridesmaids would be wearing since Luna had been sending him a lot of pictures. Ambar had apparently banned everyone from showing any pictures to their significant other, so Luna had said that she needed to gush about how pretty the dress was to someone.
Jazmin determinedly made her way to Simon and gave him a thorough “pat down” with her eyes. Simon tried to look for help from the other people in the room but they just all gave him the “It’s Jazmin, don’t question it” look.
“You’ll have to do,” Jazmin said and simply walked ot the door.
“Uhmm, did I pass the inspection?” Simon wondered out loud as he sat back down on the armchair.
“I would say yes, but it is Jazmin. You can never tell.” Gastón remarked.
“Maybe this has something to do with that Ambar asked me to burn your beanies,” He heard Matteo continue.
“What?”
“Nevermind. Nothing. Look at the time.”
“Matteo is right,” Pedro said looking at the clock on the wall, “time to get you ready Simon. It’s already over 11 pm.” The ceremony would be starting at 12:30 sharp.
“Lets get the coat,” Pedro came over with Simon’s tuxedo jacket and helped in on him. The buteneirs were on a tray that had been delivered very early in the morning, Pedro, as the best man took care of Simon’s while everyone else attached their own to the coats.
“Well, it seems like Simon will be the first one of us to sign up for the life “prison” sentence”, Ramiro joked patting Simon on the back, “Good luck to you. Have fun no longer being a free man.”
“Well thank you!” Simon laughed, “I’ll send you my report from jail as soon as I get there. But hey! I won’t be lonely for long, Gastón is joining me there very soon.”
“I’m looking forwards to some tips.” Gastón smiled at him.
“Okay, gentleman.” Pedro cleared his throat, “I think it is starting to be the time for us to pick up our ladies from the bride’s room, so Simon, best of luck to you. We’ll see you at the altar in an hour.”
“Okay, bring it you guys,” Nico said before everyone walked out of the door.
“To Simon and Ambar!” All the guys pulled him into a huge group hug.
After Simon was left alone in his room, he sat down on the bed and looked out through the window. This was it. In an hour he’d see Ambar walking down to aisle to him. Soon she’d be his wife, his forever.
***
“Now take a deep breath, since we’ll do the hairspray next,” Ambar’s hairstylist said as she pinned the last curl in place. “It’ll be windy on the beach so we really need to make sure it’ll last.”
Ambar took a deep breath as the smell of hairspray surrounded her. The hairstylist pinned the last curls in place and then placed a golden diadem, which had white flowers on it, on her head. Ambar had hand-picked all her jewelry which had taken a couple of months, but she had finally found everything she had been looking for.
“I pinned it very tight, so it is not falling off, but still please refrain from banging your head side to side like you would be in a rock concert. If something dislodges here, it’ll take everything with it, otherwise, we are done”
“You know, my future husband is a musician but I highly doubt that this will result into a rock concert,” Ambar laughed. She turned towards the mirror and gasped lightly. Her hair was on a half up half down look with a lot of tight curls and the makeup, which had been done a little earlier, was a perfect mix of golden and glowy. “Thank you. This is perfect.”
“Ambar, you look perfect,” Delfi said as she was helping Ambar put the rest of the jewelry on, “You look like a literal goddess.”
“Don’t excatarate.” Ambar rolled her eyes smiling.
“Well, will I do?” She turned around in the chair and faced all of her bridesmaids who had been getting ready at the same time as her. Now they were all sitting in a row on the bed —all except Jazmin who had run off to some mission of her own right after her hair and makeup had been done.
“Simon won’t be able to keep it together. You are so beautiful cousin,” Luna gasped.
“Thanks Luna,” Ambar reached over to take her hand, “Thank you for everything you have done. I literally could have not done any of this without you.”
“Okay, I am done.” Jazmin had appeared through the door.
“What were you doing?”
“Well, I had to make sure he wasn’t wearing a beanie. There is no way I could have let you say “I do” to him if he had.”
“Well, I am glad he didn’t,” Ambar laughed.
Knock, knock. Someone was knocking on the door maybe 30 minutes later.
“Who is it?” Luna asked as she walked towards the door. Luna had been the one who had taken the Groom must not see the bride before the wedding thing the most seriously.
“The best man.”
Luna opened the door and Pedro came in with the rest of the groomsmen.
“We came to fetch the bridesmaids.”
“Well, looking good Ambar. Simon is definitely gonna flip,” Matteo said walking over to Ambar, “It’ll be a good thing if he gets his vows out. And you look gorgeous as well, Chica Delivery,” Matteo said turning his attention towards Luna.
“Matteo, stop flirting with my maid of honor,” Ambar rolled her eyes, “this is my wedding.”
“I think it is time for us to go,” Delfi pointed out.
“She is right,” Luna agreed. “We just need the bouquets. Hey!! I didn’t forget!” she jumped excitedly as all the girls went to pick up their own bouquet of white roses from the table.
“Lets go,” Pedro said offering his arm to Luna.
“Good luck.” Delfi quickly said to Ambar before taking up the arm Matteo was offering to her.”
It took five minutes for everyone to file out of the room. Ambar took a deep breath and sat back down, appreciating the last moment of peace and quiet until the wedding would officially start.
She was of course looking forward to it immensely. She had been dreaming on this day for so long.
“To me, it seems the time to dress the bride,” Sarah came through the door with her wedding dress.
Ambar stood up and took her robe off and Sarah helped her into the gown and started buttoning the buttons, which trailed all through the back of the dress. After that, she put on her bronze-colored shoes and took one last look at herself in the mirror. Somehow the dress looked even better than the last time she had tried it on. The golden trim on the hem would look absolutely gorgeous in the sun.
She looked at the clock. 25 minutes until the ceremony was set to begin so she needed to start making her way toward the venue. She would be walking herself down the aisle. She grapped her own bouquet which was much more elaborate than the ones her bridesmaids had with white roses and gold leaves.
She was ready. Ready to become Mrs. Alvarez.
***
Simon arrived at the ceremony venue 45 minutes before the ceremony was set to begin. He stopped at the end of the aisle and looked around. The ceremony was taking place on the seaside shore of Cancun. There were a bunch of arches that were full of white and pink roses. The altar was on a raised platform where there was a gazebo with white veils. Simon had last seen the venue two days ago when it had not yet been 100 % set up.
It was absolutely beautiful.
He started walking down the aisle throwing greetings to all of his relatives who were already seated.
“I can’t believe this day has really come,” his parents came up to him as we walked up to the altar, “We were just teaching you how to walk, and now you are getting married.” Carla started to get tears in her eyes again.
“Mom, can you at least try to keep it together before the ceremony?” There was a fat chance of that ever happening. Simon very vividly remebered how much Mom had cried during Maya’s wedding.
“Simon!” After his parents, he was pulled into a crushing hug by his aunt, Alice Vargas. “I'm sorry we weren’t able to see you earlier, but we were just able to come over yesterday. We would never miss your wedding. You remember Agustin?” Alice gestured over to her husband. She had moved to Buenos Aires in her early twenties, and Simon had not met his uncle that many times.
“Simon, very good to see you!” Alice’s son, Simon’s only cousin from his mother’s side, appeared from behind his parents with a girl wearing a violet dress who Simon vaguely recognized.
“Leon, good to see you too. Glad to see you made it, I know that you are very busy.” Simon’s cousin Leon was also a musician with a popular band. They had never been that close as kids since Leon had grown up in Buenos Aires. They had kind of reconnected after Roller band had taken off.
“We finished a tour a month ago, so I definitely had time for this, Primo.”
“I have been following All Four You, you are really doing amazing.”
“I could say the same about you.” Leon leaned closer to him, “Lets get you married first, but after that we could maybe talk about a collaboration.”
“Sounds good. I’ll call you after the honeymoon.”
“Oh, and this is Violetta.” Leon said gesturing to the girl next to her.
Violetta Castillo? Simon realized finally where he had seen her. She was that known Argentinian singer. Was she Leon’s girlfriend, since according to his memory she and Leon both had gone to that same music school?
“We better sit down,” Leon said looking around, “Lets talk more later.”
Simon did not have a watch but his gut told him that it was almost time. His gut had been right as he saw Maya walking Valeria, who was the flower girl, to the end of the aisle.
The music started playing, and Simon took a deep breath. Ambar had chosen an instrumental arrangement of the song Reflection for her to walk down the aisle to. Simon knew that Matteo had a bet with his brothers about how long it would take before he cried. He honestly didn’t know how long he would last.
Valeria was the first one down the aisle. She was skipping happily and throwing flower petals everywhere. She was the cutest thing in existence. Her good behavior must have been a huge relief to Maya, even if Simon had personally never once doubted it. Valeria made it in the end of the aisle, but instead of going to her father like in the rehearsals, she ran up to Simon and gave him a small hug before skipping happily to Antonio.
Then came the bridal party. Rico and Julio came first walking Maria and Rika. Then came Gastón with Nina. Ambar had made the wedding party order into a bit of a math problem since there were more girls in the group than guys, even with the addition of his siblings. She had ended up finding a quite creative solution.
Next one down the aisle were Jim and Yam. After they had expressed their desire to walk down the aisle together, the end solution had been to have both Nico and Ramio walk Jazmin down the aisle.
From the looks of it, as the trio was coming down, Jazmin had nothing against it. And it would not look that out of place as the couples had been mixed up anyway since Luna and Pedro were the maid of honor and the best man, so Matteo had been left walking Delfi down the aisle.
Luna flashed him a huge smile as she came down the aisle with Pedro.
The music slowed down and… and Simon was blinded by a very bright light as his heart skipped a beat.
She was so beautiful. Ambar stood at the end of the aisle and started walking slowly toward him.
Honestly, he must have blacked out for a while because all a sudden she was just a mere five meters away from him. His breath got hitched in his throat as he stepped down from the platform to meet her. She was even more beautiful from up close. He extended his hand to her and she took it and he led her to the altar.
“Good day.” She smiled at him after having handed her bouquet to Luna.
“Same to you.” he took her hands on his and leaned to her ear and whispered, “You are so beautiful.”
“Ladies and Gentleman, friends and family,” the officiant started speaking, “We are here today…”
Simon felt like he couldn’t hear anything that the officiant was saying since he just got lost in Ambar’s eyes. He finally came back to the present as Pedro came behind him giving him his notebook as it was the time for the vows.
He knew the vows by heart at this point, but he still opened the notebook, because he was afraid that he would just stumble over his words if he tried to go off book.
“Ambar, to be honest, eight years ago, I would have never imagined being standing here. I think you can relate to this. At the time we didn’t know each other, and even after I met you, I never could have predicted this. But today, there is no other place I’d rather be”
“I’m the one who has been granted the special glimpse to the smart, funny, and sensitive woman that you are. The girl who is under that tough and absolute badass woman that you also are. You know what you want and are not afraid to take it. You have taught me so much about what it is to go above and beyond for what you want.”
“I love you, and I promise I’ll be there on your side, whatever we face. I’ll promise to listen to you talk about legal jargon that I totally don’t understand. You are the one for me. Not just because you allowed me to help you, when you were at your lowest, but also because you always wanted me. You didn’t want the stars from the sky, or the peak of Mount Everest, you wanted me. I love you, and I wanna spend the rest of my life with you.”
He gave his notebook back to Pedro and looked back at Ambar, who was smiling at him widely. Luna came behind her, handing Ambar a piece of paper. It was time for Ambar’s vows. Simon was sure he wasn’t going to be able to keep it together.
“Simon, I would be lying if I said that I always knew that this was my future. But I also would be lying if I said that I haven’t been dreaming of this moment for a long time. Our journey started when I threw your best friend into a pool and it led us here, back to Cancun, back to this beach, where we will be united.”
“You have been the one who guided me to the right track. You always saw the person who was inside me, the one even I didn’t know existed. I learned to be myself, I learned to forgive myself. With you I know that the only one I need be is the one I can be, not the one I thought I should be. I can be loved just as I am, and I don’t need to change, I don’t need to be perfect. You love me and that's enough.”
“You are selfless and kind, and always put everyone before yourself. You don’t judge. You are the only one I love, the one who showed me the light. Simon, you saved me. I am going to be there for you when you become a world-famous musician. I am your biggest fan, and I will keep being that. Where ever roller band goes, I will follow. All because I love you, and there is no question about that, not ever and definitely not today.”
Simon felt a couple of tears falling on his cheek and he hastily wiped them away as the officiant took over. Pedro was in charge of the rings which he now presented to the officiant.
“Simon Diego Alvarez, do you take Ambar Esmeralda Smith, to be your lawfully wedded wife?”
“I do,” Simon answered and took the ring from the officiant and slid it on Ambar’s finger.
“Ámbar Esmeralda Smith, do you take Simon Diego Alvarez to be your lawfully wedded husband?”
“I do,” Ambar answered and slid the ring on Simon’s finger.
The officiant smiled. “It is my great pleasure to pronounce you husband and wife. Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Mr. and Mrs. Alvarez. You may kiss the pride.”
Simon didn’t need to be told twice and neither did Ambar. Her hand her round his neck in a second and her took her by the waist, taking her lips into his, kissing his wife for the very first time.
***
“Now both raise your gazes towards the sunset,” the photographer directed Simon and Ambar as they were taking the wedding pictures after the ceremony.
Simon twirled her swiftly around to face her as the photographer snapped some more shots.
“Wait!” they both jumped as Jazmin’s voice rang in the salty sea air, “just hold on for a moment,” Jazmin ran over and came to fix Ambar’s skirt’s hem and then turned around to fix Simon’s bow time, “proceed.”
“Next, both look towards the horizon, and the groom put your hands on bride’s shoulders,” the photographer said and Ambar and Simon turned towards the ocean. The sun was still high in the sky, which gave the pictures optimal lighting. They would be taking some sunset pictures later too, but now was the time for the official shots. “And now as you are both looking at the beautiful sea, think about freedom.”
Freedom? Ambar smiled shortly. These were wedding pictures and freedom was not exactly how you’d describe marriage. Simon was the love of her life and she wouldn’t trade this for anything, but it was still far from freedom.
“Okay, thats it for the only two of you,” the photographer snapped that last shot, “Now lets some shots of the wedding party. First, I want the bride and groom with the flower girl.”
“Go to Uncle Simon and Aunt Ambar,” Maya urged Valeria, who did not need to be told twice as she ran toward them with a big smile on her face. “Make it quick. I am not sure how long she will last before staining that dress.”
Ambar laughed at Maya’s statement, and Valeria obediently stood herself between Ambar and Simon. Ambar quickly straightened the flower crown on her head and the photographer snapped a couple of pictures.
“If Valeria gets her own pictures, we want ones with just us and Ambar!”
“Girls, calm down, this isn’t about you,” Ambar heard Maya scold Maria and Rika, and tried hard not to smile, those two sometimes really reminded her of herself as a 15-year-old, except that Simon’s little sisters were much better raised that she had been.
“The photographer will tell us what to do,” Carla joined the conversation, “this is your brother’s wedding, so behave. You’ll be allowed to do whatever you want once you get married yourself.”
“But Dad won’t let us do that until we are 30…”
Ambar saw Simon roll his eyes at his sisters.
The rest of the pictures got taken without a hitch. They took multiple pictures with the whole wedding party, Simon with his groomsmen and Ambar with her bridesmaids separately. They also took pictures with the whole of Simon’s family and Monica, Miquel, Luna, and Alfredo.
After maybe an hour's worth of pictures they finally made their way to the venue. The reception was held in the hotel they were all staying at. The tables were set up on the hotel’s huge terrace with a gorgeous seaside view.
Round tables that each seated five to ten people formed a huge half-circle around the dance floor which was in the middle of the terrace. At the side of the dancefloor was a small platform for the band with the instruments. Ambar’s and Simon's table was located right at the edge of the dance floor next to two, bit bigger tables where the wedding party and immediate family would be sitting.
The tables were decked out with white roses, gold and white plates, golden candles, and golden silverware.
*
“Ladies and Gentlemen!” Pedro had stood up from the wedding party table and picked up the microphone. “On behalf of our lovely Bride and Groom, I hope you are all having a really good time. My name is Pedro and I am the Best Man.”
“So, what can I say about our lovely Bride and Groom? Well, Simon is the star guitarist of the Roller band. Eight years ago, Simon fell from the sky, and by sky, I mean Mexico to help me and Nico in our desperate hour. That's how our band was born. Later we had to house Simon as he had illegally been residing at a warehouse of our lovely bride’s house, yes this is how the romance started. I guess you can blame the maid of honor Luna for that. Simon, you are the heart of the Roller Band and our start guitarist. I honestly wouldn’t know what we would have done without you.”
“Ambar, I not gonna pretend that we always knew each other well. You were an extremely confident skater, but, and I mean no offense by this, you were not the nicest person. But Simon always believed in you and made us all see the different side of you. And there is no doubt in my mind that you make him extremely happy.”
“As I have gotten to know both of you past these years, I know that you two are the best versions of each other together and bring the best in each other. May no one separate you, since I know that no one can do that, so I don’t recommend trying.”
“So lets all raise our glasses for Simon and Ambar! Quizás sea el momento de tomar un tiempo. Un tiempo de amor!”
Pedro got a round of applause and Simon got up from the table as everyone raised their glasses for them to give Pedro a hug.
After Pedro’s speech, the dessert course was served. The cake would be cut later, but right now the waiters were bringing slices of chocoflan for everyone.
“Can I get everyone’s attention!!” As everyone was enjoying their dessert Luna got up from the table and started speaking to the microphone. “Thank you. So after that spectacular speech  by the best man, I need to live up to at least that.”
“So, I am Luna, The Maid of Honor, Ambar’s cousin and Simon’s best friend. First I wanna say that I am practically bursting with joy for the two of you. I’d hug you, but I promised that I wouldn’t accidentally choke you again like I did when Simon proposed. This day has been absolutely beautiful.”
“I don’t know how many of you know that Ambar and I did not know that we were cousins when we met—And Ambar threw me in the pool. Anyways, two of us have bumped heads multiple times in a variety of scenarios. We were rivals on the rink and on the stage, but what we came also to realize multiple times was that we were always better when we worked together. Ambar I love you, you have helped me so much over the years. You make fun of my mismatched socks and are always there if I need someone to talk to. You are one of the hardest workers I have ever met. I am so glad we both found out the truth and each other. You are the only person I would trust Simon to.”
“Simon, Simon Alvarez, I don’t even remember how many years I have known you and I am not going to do the math right now—otherwise we’ll be here until next Wednesday and no one wants that. I also don’t remember how we met, but I will just summarize what I have been told. I was six and me and my parents had just moved to Cancun and Mom was going be working with Simon’s dad. So one day I dropped off at the Alvarez’s house so Maya could babysit me and apparently I was very difficult to manage… I can’t imagine why… but apparently, it all ended in Maya putting me and Simon to face off in twister and so our friendship was born. You were the one who technically though me how to skate, even when you fell more than me and I’ll fight you on that and always make sure that I am not alone. I can trust you, and I can’t think more loyal person.”
“Simon and Ambar, there is honestly nobody who could say that you don’t deserve each other. You love each other. I remember how Simon could talk about Ambar the whole day without even stopping to breathe. You two fought hard for what you have, and you two really deserve this day and the love you have. To Simon and Ambar!!! May the rest of your life be as happy as this day!!”
After the Luna’s Simon’s parents said a few words welcoming Ambar into the family officially. They gave her an aquamarine bracelet, that looked exactly alike to the one Maya had and she had told Ambar that she had been given it on her wedding day and Diego had given Carla one when they had gotten married.
Simon And Ambar had chosen to dance their first to Re-Write the Stars from the Greatest Showman as it was the movie they had gone to see on their first date. The dance was somewhat choreographed, Jim and Ramiro had helped them with it.
After the dance, a chair was brought for Ambar in front of the stage as Simon, Nico and Pedro got up on it. They played Tiempo Por Amor and the song Simon had sung when he had proposed: Once Upon a Chance. Then Matteo joined them and they played a song that they had collaborated on Matteo’s first album.
As the boys finished it was time for the Father-Daughter dance. Ambar didn’t know who her father was, and she hadn’t gotten that far with Silvana yet. So she danced the dance with Miquel and Simon’s father. She had ha wanted to include her grandfather as well, but Alfredo had said that he was a bit too old for that kind of dancing and his hip had been acting up again.
They danced to the song You will be found, from Dear Evan Hansen, which she and Simon had gone to see at New York in 2021 at Nina’s suggestion. The song always made her emotional.
Simon danced next with his mother to the song from Coco which was his favorite Pixar movie. Simon had asked Luna to sing it for them and watching Simon dance with his mother while listening to Luna singing while Matteo accompanied her brought tears to Ambar’s eyes for the umpteenth time that day. She had the best family in the whole world.
Suddenly the cake was brought out. It was a huge three-tier cake with white frosting with leaf gold patches and white flowers. Simon and Ambar had chosen the cake flavor to be chocolate marble cake with salted caramel frosting.
After they cut the cake, everything was a blur after that as they danced that night away with a huge amount of their favorite songs, ranging from Abba to their favorite Disney songs.
The last song of the night was a song called Never in a Million Years from a musical called Prince of Egypt, the revival of which they had seen in the West End two days before Simon had proposed.
As the sun was going down, there was just one last thing to do. Ambar needed to throw her bouquet. Ambar positioned herself at the center of the dance floor as all the single and unbetrothed ladies were called to line up behind her. Ambar glanced behind her and saw that all of her bridesmaids —with the exception of Nina since she already was supporting an engagement ring— stood in the row with other female guests like many of Simon’s younger female relatives and that date of Simon’s cousin that Simon had not known what their relationship status excatly was.
Ambar turned her head around and closed her eyes and launched the bouquet into the air. She heard lot of yelling, which included Jazming very clearly screaming that it was hers, but finally, the victorious yell came from Luna. Ambar turned around and saw Luna holding the flowers in the air. Amber shot a sly smile at Matteo as this would mean that according to all the laws of the bouquet toss, Luna would be the one to get engaged next.
***
It started to near 10:30 and all Simon’s relatives with smaller children had already left. Simon pulled Ambar at the side of the patio wrapping his arms around her waits as they stared at the sunset.
“Are you tired?” He asked her. The day had been long, but still definitely the best day of his life.
“Little bit, but definitely not too much,” Ambar said spinning around in his arms and wrapping her arms around his neck. “The night is far from over.”
“Whatever Ms. Smith wishes—”
“Stop right there!” Ambar said with her lawyer tone, “It is Mrs. Alvarez to you.”
“I guess I have to obey my wife then,” Simon smiled at her and leaned in to kiss her, “I love you.”
“I love you too… my husband.”
And they lived happily ever after… until they traveled to Paris and got transferred back in time shameless plug, it is happening. I hope you all like it and I hope all the Ambar stans don't mind me having her taking on Simon's name.
Additional note: I have Pinterest board for the wedding and a wedding playlist so feel free to check those out if you are craving visual or audio additions for your reading experience

Soy Sol: Chapter 11 (The Cut that Burrows Deep)

Ámbar feels like every step she takes, the more she can feel her heartbeat. It’s like she’s carrying it in her arms with nothing to guard it, out in the open alone. She opens the cold rusted handle of the entrance to the restaurant. There she is, her biological mom trembling while drinking a glass of water. Ámbar sums up all the courage inside her and takes the chance to approach her. When she grabs the seat in front of her, Sylvania can’t help but stare in shock. “Wow Ámbar, you truly have grown.” Ámbar may have brought all her walls down for the people she loves, but she puts them back up with this stranger.
“You can’t say that since you were never there for me. That’s no fair,” Ámbar chided. Sylvania chokes up and avoids eye contact. “Look Ámbar, I now know after everything that has happened the big mistake I made, but at the time it felt like the best option for you. I was young and didn’t have the means nor felt ready to take care of a child. I thought Sharon would’ve been a better parental figure instead of a young girl like myself. I later on regretted it and that’s something I shall have to carry with me for the rest of my life.”
Ámbar grips onto her purse trying very hard to hold back all her tears. She wonders why did this lady chose Sharon specifically and why did Sharon try to keep it a secret for so long? “I understand you were young, but I know that’s not the whole story because I have memories being in a different house that was NOT Benson Mansion. You saw me, you knew me, and didn’t like me enough to keep me,” Ámbar rebuked. Sylvania is showing tears now, she’s choking up with every word as her hand trembles just to take a sip of water. “It wasn’t like that at all Ámbar. I tried, I really did try to see if I was capable of taking care of a child. I noticed my arms weren’t so comforting for you. Sometimes when you love someone, so much, you have to let them go because you care,” Sylvania responded. Ámbar doesn’t know whether to believe what she’s saying or not. She wishes she can get out of these tornadoes of lies that always come chasing her. She’s sick of it all. She wants the truth. Is that too much to ask for?
Silence crowds the room, they’re breathing the same air but can’t even look at each other. Sylvania speaks up again. “I know this feels hard to believe but why do you think I came back? It was for that reason, I thought Sharon would be a better parent than me and would take great care of you. I realized I was sadly wrong.”
“Sharon? Of all people? What made you think that a woman who put a place on fire because she was jealous of her own sister would be a perfect parent for a child? Do you know she never showed me affection or love? I had to learn it all on my own. She only showed any signs of care when she needed me part of her plan that only benefitted her. You left me to a person who only cares about themselves,” Ámbar fumed.
“It wasn’t like that at all. I had no idea about her being the cause of the Benson fire and she had already adopted you before that even happened. When I met her, she was a kind woman, I was friends with Lili from work, so I had already knew the family. I assumed that Sharon had a good heart just like Lili, even though she was seemingly different. The whole time I would interact with her, she was always nice and seemed to really want a child because she always felt alone. It all just felt fitting.” Ámbar is trying to put together all the puzzle pieces in her head with Sylvania’s story. Part of her doesn’t believe it but…. It does kind of make sense. For her it justifies nothing even though she has hope.
Before she gets up from her seat, she leaves a wad of cash. “Ámbar where are you going? We haven’t even ordered yet?” Sylvania asks. “I’m not feeling hungry anymore, here’s some money for dinner.” Ámbar heads out the door with no remnants behind other than the tears that fall to the floor.
Tumblr media
Jam and Roller
“Eyyy amigo I’m so happy for the release of your new music video!” Gastón exclaims to Matteo. They’re both drinking smoothies while watching the Youtube countdown from Matteo’s phone. These are the special moments Matteo loves to share with Gastón since he’s always been his pal for the longest. He also loves sharing it with Luna too, but they sadly haven’t hit it off as well for a while. Matteo is hoping Gastón’s plan will work for the upcoming days.
Simón heads to their tables with a fresh batch of popcorn. “Wow, how exciting! It’s even more special since you get to enjoy it here at the Jam and Roller with us!” Simón states. Matteo grins but it slowly fades when he sees Luna walk into the cafeteria and completely ignoring him. “What happened?” Simón asks when he sees Matteo’s vivid expression abruptly change. “No nothing, I just wish I got to share this moment with another person too.” When Simón turns his head and sees who Matteo is staring at, he realizes what Matteo meant.
Nina pulls out her purse and hands her phone to Luna. “I know you’re trying to pretend you don’t care but you do. Watch the video, it’ll get rid of all your curiosities.” Luna shakes her head in disapproval. “Nina, the least I want to do is watch a music video of the one I love flirting with a girl who has a huge crush on him as well. They’re practically soulmates, meant for each other,” Luna exaggerates. “Oh c’mon, I know it’s complicated, but you know that’s not true. If you’re not going to do it for him, then do it for yourself. You deserve to see why he arrived late to your date.” Luna glares at Nina and decides to take the phone.
Once the music video is out, everyone begins to cheer for Matteo. Luna sits even more depressed seeing at the ‘amazing’ chemistry Matteo and Viviana had in the music video. She can’t help but doubt herself even more when all the comments from his fans say they ship him with Viviana. “Nina, I’m not feeling so good. I think I’ll just head home.” Nina nods and Luna begins to get up from her chair and head out. Matteo notices and follows her out.
“Luna! Luna, wait up! I need to tell you something,” Matteo yells out. “Matteo not now, I’m not in the mood. Congratulations of your video, it was very nice. I just don’t feel so good okay.” Matteo catches up to her and stands in front. “Look Luna, I don’t know if you’ll listen to me now but please go to tomorrow’s concert I’m having. My manager is having me make a concert to promote the single, but it wouldn’t be the same without you. Please Luna. You never miss any of my concerts,” Matteo begs. Luna gradually smiles. “Really? You still want me there?”
“Of course, I do Luna.” Luna now can’t help but blush. “Matteo, of course I’ll go. Even though I’m still a little upset at you calling me jealous, standing me up on our date, and not believing or listening to me, I still care. Since you want me there, I’ll be there.” Matteo is surprised by Luna’s comment and begins to graciously smile too. It was a moment for them, they hadn’t had one like this in a long time. It felt needed.
Nico is in the rink sitting on one of the chairs, he seems to be working on something since he has his notebook open with his pen. Jim enters and sees him alone. “Hey there, what are you working on?” Jim asks. “Oh just a few verses, I’m trying to get ahead on the Roller Band song for the competition, but nothing seems to come into mind,” Nico says. Jim heads to the seat beside him. She sits down and carefully glances over his blank page. “Oh yeah you do seem to be having some trouble,” Jim chuckles. “If you’d like I can help, I’m use to writing songs with Yam.” Nico turns and faces Jim, “Yes of course. I need all the help I can get; it’s been a while for me since I got to write a song with the Roller Band.” They both laugh together and get working on the song.
Jazmín dashes to Delfi holding a small slip of paper. “You won’t believe what just happened?” Delfi carefully places her books into her locker after seeing Jazmín rush to her. “Is it something new for the Fundom or for your blog, Ja Jazmin?” Delfi predicts. “Nope, you’re very far off. Look at this,” Jazmín hands Delfi the note. The more she reads it, the more her eyes grow like a flower blooming in the season, keeps opening. She’s in plain shock as Jazmín nods from her amusement. “Right! I have a secret admirer!! I have to post about this on my blog!” Jazmín frantically grabs her phone from her pocket but right when she’s about to film, Delfi stops her. “No Jazmín, this is something special. Honestly, I think this is something you should keep for yourself, every celebrity likes to keep their personal life separate from their work life,” Delfi advises. Jazmín thinks for a second and says, “Nahhh I’ll still post it, plus this can even help us discover who the anonymous writer is!”
The Restaurant
Yam is wearing her golden shimmery dress that Jim helped her pick out. She’s very anxious about her date with Ramiro, she wants it to go out perfect since this was something she had been dreaming of for a while. He puts down the menu and slips his hand under hers to her surprise. He gives her a shy smile. “I had been dreaming of this for a while. Before, I would always try to move on, but I just couldn’t. My mind just couldn’t forget about you,” Ramiro admits. Yam begins to tear up. “I felt the same way for so long but never said anything worried you didn’t feel the same way. I’m so happy about this moment. I don’t care how long I had to wait, it was totally worth it.”
Throughout the whole night, Yam and Ramiro shared college stories and even old memories of each other. How Yam never stopped writing songs about him and how Ramiro would skate imagining about her. Everything went smooth till dessert came. A random man with a suit and tie approached their table and faces Yam. “You look familiar, are you Yamila Sanchez from that Ja Jazmin blog?” Yam stays startled and stutters, “uhhh yes why?” The man quickly pulls a card out of his pocket. “Hillside Records, I’m the owner. I would like to set up a meeting with you for a chance at a record deal.” Yam immediately glares at Ramiro for a response. He shows his approval and gestures for Yam to respond. “Yes I would love to!” Yam exclaims. “Great! I’m available tomorrow at 5 pm. There is one important detail I have to tell you,” the man says. “Yes, what is it,” Yam asks. “The record company is not in Buenos Aires. It’s in California.” He proceeds to hand her the card. “Think about it, I’ll see you tomorrow.” He leaves and Yam shows her disappointment to Ramiro, she couldn’t believe how such an exciting offer can turn to something so depressing. If she took this offer, that means she would have to leave her family, her friends, and her chance at being with Ramiro.
“Look I know this is hard to think about but just follow your heart. If this is something you truly want go for it, I can wait longer,” Ramiro grabs her hand and holds it. “I don’t know what to say. I never knew me pursuing a music career would mean I have to leave everything and everyone I love,” Yam gradually lets her tears fall onto her glittery dress.

I wasn’t happy with certain parts of s3 of Soy Luna and here’s my list
Ok, so, I am not a native Spanish speaker, and I’m barely fluent, so anything I get wrong or write wrong I am thoroughly sorry for. That being said, I watched Soy Luna on Disney+ and I absolutely loved it and all of the ships (Lutteo being my favorite) but some things in the last season just fell short of me so I went and made a list.
The season should’ve been 80 episodes, for sake of continuity, and for fleshing out character arcs and development
Luna would’ve at least tried to hear Matteo out after the first open, it seems very out of character for her to not? Like she’s a very nice and open-minded person, and I get that she doesn’t want to be hurt, but she knows Matteo, so it seemed very out of character
Speaking of out of character, it was just so weird that Matteo just kept thinking Luna was dating Michel without asking her? I get that it’s a plot thing to do the whole misunderstanding thing, but why didn’t he just straight-up ask her?
Matteo’s dad is there for like 2 episodes and then bam he’s gone. And where’s his mom? I need to know more about his family dynamic PLEASE
Gastón straight up leaving and breaking up with Nina two seconds after saying he loved her.
Nina saying she can’t go to Oxford even though the season before she said that’s her dream. I mean, everything aligned for her to go to Oxford, she’s smart enough, her mom said yes, she wants to go, she’ll have the same amount of writing opportunities there as well, so WHY DIDN’T SHE GO
Gastina not being endgame, these two deserved better
While I love the Simón & Matteo friendship (and I do love it), I missed Matteo and Gastón’s friendship
Ámbar should’ve had more of a redemption arc, or at least more of her past, I mean, she’s such an amazing deep character, and her redemption is so half-heartedly done I wanted more.
I do love Simbar to death though they make a wonderful couple
More Ámbar and Mónica scenes the mother/daughter relationship happening there was so amazing
Yam was so so horrible to Ramiro and I just felt really annoyed. She knows it’s his dream, and she did love him, so why did she hold a grudge for so long it was (again) way out of character
They should’ve focused on Yam and Ramiro’s relationship just a little more and made Yam a little less mad at Ramiro, so their relationship could’ve been a little better handled
Quédate should’ve been performed more in the last season, I mean, the song is gorgeous and it would’ve been so nice to see both characters singing it together
That’s the entire list, and while I did spend like 15 minutes writing everything I didn’t like, I do think it’s an amazing show, and I love the ships, but this is what I think they could’ve done better.

"Roads That Cross... on a Day Off"

——————————————————————————
Inspired by 'Call it what you want', which is honestly THE simbar song. The author regrets nothing.
——————————————————————————
Simón’s left arm was asleep.
He noticed it the moment he woke up, but he refused to move. The prettiest head of blonde locks was using it as a pillow, and who was he to disturb her?
It was a rare occurrence that he woke up before Ámbar. She was a natural early riser while he liked to sleep as much as possible. He usually woke up from her movements as she started her day, or— and this was his favorite— with some caress or kisses from her part. He could start becoming a morning person if that was what awaited him.
So, uncommon as it was, he wanted to cherish this, just this, having her close in complete calmness. Ámbar’s back was to his chest, their legs close together, and his free arm was around her middle, holding her against him. He wanted to run his hand over her skin, or maybe take hers in his, but he didn’t want to risk anything putting an end to this moment.
He fleetingly wondered how long his arm could go without blood flow before it did some damage.
Oh well, who cared.
He couldn’t see her face spooning her like this, but he noticed when she started waking because the even rhythm of her breathing he had been following changed. She began to move, stretching slightly in a way that pressed her back more into him. Simón did hold her hand then and kissed her shoulder. She hummed softly and turned her head to look at him.
“Good morning, sleeping beauty,” he said with a smile.
“Good morning,” she murmured, her voice groggy from sleep. She rolled to rest her head on his chest, which his left arm appreciated. He laid on his back. “What time is it?” She asked after a moment of just relishing the closeness.
Simón extended his right arm over to the nightstand to check his phone. “Almost eleven.”
“Eleven?!” Ámbar jumped, as if he’d said four in the afternoon. “Wow, I hadn’t slept in this much in a long time…” She said, recovering from the surprise. She brought her gaze to his with a coquettish look. “You really wore me out.”
Simón smiled smugly and gave a small shrug. “Well, what can I say? I like to be very thorough,” he said playfully. “Or… maybe all of this was part of my evil plan to get you to let me sleep until a decent hour.”
She raised her brows. “Decent hour? By the time we go downstairs, we might as well have lunch.”
He gave her a look. “You’re totally exaggerating, it’s not that late.” He turned on his side and ran his knuckles softly over her right arm. “And anyway, I wasn’t planning on going to the dining room.” He smiled at her. “How does breakfast in bed sound?”
Her eyes sparkled. “Really?”
“Of course. It’s the least my queen deserves.”
She tilted her head to the side with the cutest melted smile.
“Aww.” She cupped his cheek and leaned in to kiss him. “I love you.”
He gave her another peck. “I love you more.”
She drew back with a gasp in fake outrage. “You do not want to start that discussion, mister.”
“Oh really?” He said, playing along.
“Yep, because you’re going to lose,” she said confidently. “So better give up now while you still can.”
He smirked. “Or what?”
Ámbar’s eyes narrowed with challenge just as he wanted. With the hint of a smile on her lips, she rose and sat astride him, keeping his gaze from above.
“Or I’ll have to show you just how wrong you are.”
Simón kept his mask of a straight face. “That remains to be seen.”
One beat later, he went and flipped her over, making her explode into giggles that he captured with kisses in between his own smiles.
Maybe breakfast could wait.
*****************
The instant that “Esta Noche No Paro” stopped playing, claps and cheers replaced the music. Gastón was fascinated with the final product. It was magical to see everything put together when he’d been right there, in front of the camera, not knowing the shots that would come out of it. He was happy to see that both his dance moves and the choreography’s synch had come out great, but even more than that, he was happy to see the twinkle on Matteo’s eyes and the huge grin that split his face in two. They’d watched the video at the Roller with Delfi, Jazmín, Pedro and Ramiro, and Gastón could honestly say that Matteo and Delfi deserved all the praises that came their way— The video was amazing.
Everyone was very excited, so much so that Pedro gave them all smoothies on the house. Gastón had missed hanging out with his friends like this, a lot. Just their cheery conversations were sweeter than any drink. It was good to be back, no matter how short the visit.
The group dispersed after a while, everyone continuing their daily routines. Gastón and Matteo stayed on a table, Matteo still stuck on the video.
“It’s just… I really think if there is one person that should be receiving praises right now, it’s Luna,” he said, half awed by her, half lamenting she wasn’t there. “I mean, she came up with the video, shemade it happen… I really don’t know how to thank her for all of this.”
Gastón looked at his friend and pretended to think for a second. “Mmm, I don’t know, maybe you could give her a bouquet of flowers,” he proposed, which Matteo seemed to like. “… And, while you’re at it, get back together with her.”
Matteo immediately became self-conscious. Gastón pushed forward. “Come on, dude, I’ve been here for a total of two days and it’s already obvious to me that you two still care about each other. Can you explain to me why you’re not together yet?”
Matteo averted his gaze, looking disheartened. “… A lot of things happened. Every time we get closer, we end up hurting each other and… Luna doesn’t feel the same way anymore.”
Gastón looked at him in disbelief. “Are you kidding me? Matteo, she organized a whole music video for you. To cheer you up, to make youhappy. What else do you want? For her to write it in the sky?”
Tentatively, Matteo brought his gaze to his. “You really think so?”
“Everyone thinks so,” he declared. “You just need to gather the courage and go for it.”
Hope and worry mixed in Matteo’s expression. He looked down, seeming deep in thought. Gastón wished he didn’t drown in those thoughts of his so much and listened to his heart.
Just then, Nina entered the Roller with Jim and Yam and his eyes followed her as she walked over to a table, settling with her laptop as they talked about one thing or another.
Gastón filled his lungs with a big, deep breath. Time to start following his own advice.

By the time they finally deigned to leave the bed it was like two in the afternoon, and only because Ámbar thought it’d be a bad idea to introduce herself to Simón’s mom while in bed with him. She wanted to make a good impression— The woman didn’t need to know how she was defiling her son.
They sat on one of the couches in the living room for a more neutral setting. Ámbar chose a white top with a white linen sweater over it for the occasion. It made her look harmless enough. She also liked how its black and cream pearl embellishments combined with her dark jeans, and the weather had been a bit cooler lately. Simón had also opted for wearing his jean shirt over his purple t-shirt instead of tying it around his hips for that same reason.
They settled in front of her laptop’s screen for the video chat. It had been Ámbar’s idea to have it through there so it was more comfortable, that way neither side had to be holding up a phone.
Just as Simón had told her, the call hadn’t been a serious affair at all. She’d been a little nervous at the beginning, but Simón’s mom’s wide smile and warm personality put her at ease quickly. The woman didn’t seem to hate her at all, and she seemed too genuine to be pretending to like her. She reminded her so much of Simón. She knew that he mostly looked like his dad from the photos she’d seen on his Instagram, but he had his mother’s eyes, and the more Ámbar talked to the woman, the more pieces of him she found in her. It warmed her heart.
It wasn’t a very long chat, but Simón’s mom found the time to tell her a fun story of when Simón was a kid, much to his embarrassment and her insurmountable enjoyment. She promised to show her the family photo albums when she visited Cancún. Ámbar loved the idea.
“You’ll have to show me your photos too then,” Simón told her, his eyes shining with excitement and curiosity.
Ámbar did her best to keep her smile in place. She didn’t have any photos from when she was a kid that she knew of. Sharon wasn’t one for sentimentalities like that. If she had any, they were probably taken by Amanda on specific dates like her first day at kindergarten and at the Blake. Maybe some from old birthdays. Ámbar had no idea where those could be though… if Sharon had kept them at all.
The only old photos she knew she had were from photoshoots. She’d first asked for one when she turned twelve, and had some more done after that. When all cellphones started having decent cameras, it became easier to have photos.
Ámbar chose not to say any of it, and tried not to let it darken her mood, but the bitter reminder stuck on the back of her mind. The contrast between Simón’s mom’s sweetness and the cold, scolding texts she’d been receiving from Sharon was too great. Ámbar was ignoring them. Her godmother had no right to reprimand her for anything when she was keeping her secret at the expense of jeopardizing her happiness.
The video call ended with Simón’s mom teasingly warning him to behave and giving Ámbar permission to put him in his place if he didn’t. The irony of Ámbar promising to keep him on the right track was not lost on her, but it was just playfulness in the end. She only hoped that the future plans they’d talked about did come to pass.
After that, Simón insisted on inviting her out for lunch. “When was the last time we had time for an actual date? We need to seize this opportunity!” He took her to a restaurant he’d visited before with Pedro and Nico. It was nothing fancy, completely unlike the restaurants Sharon took her to the times they ate outside, but it was nice, and the food was delicious. The company was the best part, of course. Ámbar felt like she could’ve eaten anything and anywhere as long as she was with Simón. She nursed her drink slowly just so they could stay there longer, smiling and conversing. She suspected he did the same.
They had a brief fight over who would pay the bill. Ámbar argued that there was no need for him to spend money on her when she had more than she needed, but Simón insisted that he had invited her so it should be his treat. She proposed splitting it, but Simón wanted to pay for both. Sensing that it was important to him, she relented.
She grabbed his hand as they left and they walked down the street with their fingers interlocked. Ámbar would’ve been happy to just walk around with him for the rest of the afternoon until the sun went down, but he proposed they went back to the mansion.
When they got there though, she didn’t get to cross the front door before Simón stopped her.
“Wait for me right here, don’t move.”
Ámbar frowned but did as told while he disappeared inside, curious as to what idea he’d come up with.
He reappeared about five minutes later, with both hands behind his back, sign that he was hiding something.
“Okay, so, um, I want to make you a surprise,” he started.
She smiled with interest. “Okay…”
“But, in order to do that, I’m going to need you to be out of the mansion for a while.”
Ámbar raised a brow. Now this was unexpected, but she was too curious to say no. “Like for how long?”
“I don’t know, an hour?”
“And… what am I supposed to do in the meantime?”
Simón finally brought his hands forward, revealing one pair of her skates and her helmet. “You can rollerskate,” he said cheerily. “I’ve noticed that with so much work you haven’t found much time to do so lately. And, I mean, it’s a shame really, to deny the world the chance of seeing the queen of the rink in action.”
Her heart melted with the flattery, and especially for how thoughtful a gesture it was. “You’re so cute. But the idea of this day was to spend it together,” she argued, moving closer to place her hands on his shoulders. “I would rather skate with you. I miss it.”
He showed a sympathetic smile. “Me too. We can do that if we find some time at work one of these days. But now,” he handed her her things, “you can have some alone time and clear your head.”
Ámbar received them with an acquiescent smile. “Okay.”
“I’ll text you when you can come back.”
“Okay. Just try not to destroy my house with whatever you have planned.”
Simón chuckled. “I won’t. I may have to borrow a couple of things though, you don’t mind?”
She shrugged. “You live here, grab whatever you like.”
They shared a short parting kiss.
“Have fun,” he said with a smile.
Ámbar gave him one last peck just because she could and left.

“Thank you for agreeing to meet with me.”
Nina smoothed her hands down her skirt. They were sweating so hard, and she knew it had nothing to do with the mellow autumn sun shining over them in the quiet square.
It was all about the boy in front of her, who’d always had the ability to make her heart pound. And to whom, she realized, she still hadn’t said anything.
“Yeah, well, we’re still friends, right?” She somehow managed to articulate nervously, trying to show a smile. “I mean, if you need something, advice or anything like that, I can help. Although, I don’t know if I’d really be much help. Maybe you should talk about it with Matteo?”
Gastón looked at her in silence, in the eyes, in a way that did nothing to calm her heart.
“Matteo can’t help me with this,” he said, just the slightest hint of sadness in his voice showing he wished it were not so. “No one, really... It is about you and me.”
Yes, that was exactly what she’d feared. “…You wanna talk about us?”
Gastón nodded solemnly.
“Could we take a seat?” He invited her gently, signaling to the bench right next to them.
They both sat, keeping some small distance between them, but they were still very close. When had been the last time they’d been this close? Alone? Nina was having a hard time keeping his gaze. She was gripping the strap of her bag so hard her fingers would probably hurt later.
“Look, Nina,” Gastón started, his tense shoulders the only thing that betrayed he was nervous too, “I’ve been thinking a lot these past few weeks… and you have no idea how much I miss you.”
Her heart clenched painfully.
God, how many times had she dreamed with him saying those words? So many scenarios, so many things she’d wished to say. And now she was frozen.
“Every second I’m not studying I think of you,” Gastón continued, his emotion-filled voice hitting her with each word. “Hell, even when I’m studying I think of you— That I haven’t failed a class is a miracle.” He looked down, ashamed. “And I know that saying this now is unfair when it was me who wanted to end it but… I need to correct my mistake.” Gastón looked up. Honest, determined eyes bore into hers. “I want us to be together again, Nina. I want you to be my girlfriend.”
Nina felt herself tremble.
“I… I don’t understand,” she uttered, her brain registering the words but unable to process them. Or perhaps she was too scared to. “What happened with all you said? What happened with not making each other suffer and letting destiny bring us back together someday if it was meant to be?” She’d held on to that. To the belief that their names were being kept by the sea and maybe they’d find each other in the future. She’d accepted that, and now he…
“That was before my best friend fell off a fence,” Gastón said, somber, and his expression just quieted her once more. “He could’ve died, Nina. One bad hit in the head is all it takes. And I would’ve been a hemisphere away.” His hands clenched. His face reflected how much the idea tormented him. “I started thinking of possibilities. Matteo could’ve died or ended up in vegetative state or in a wheelchair for the rest of his life. Accidents happen every day— And what if it had been you?” He said, his eyes dancing between hers in fear. “What if something had happened to you and I wouldn’t have been able to be there?” His jaw set. His head shook slightly. “I can’t trust a hypothetical future when I could die tomorrow.”
Nina’s throat tightened. “Don’t say things so horrible, please.”
“It’s true,” he dismissed her pleading, not harshly but with the calmness of someone who has complete certainty of what he’s saying. “That’s why I had to come. For Matteo, and for you. To ask you to give me another chance.”
He seemed to want to hold her hands but didn’t dare to do so. They fell back on the bench, right on the edge of the flounce of her skirt. Nina had no chance to be either disappointed or relieved by that because his eyes held her captive.
“I’m so sorry,” Gastón said, like from the bottom of his heart. “I gave up on us too soon. I was a coward; I see that now. I thought I was doing what was best for us, so we wouldn’t have to suffer from being so far apart. But maybe I was just thinking of myself and what I thought would hurt me less. Maybe I was just too afraid of you finding some other guy… And now, because of that, my greatest fear came true,” he said dejectedly, averting his gaze. “I’ve been told that you have a thing with Eric…”
“No!”
The word was pulled from her lips before she made a conscious decision. She was not surprised to see the surprise in Gastón’s eyes because she was caught off guard too. She began to backtrack rapidly.
“I mean… He’s a very sweet guy,” she said, because not saying it would be unfair. Just the fact that she’d denied him so adamantly made her feel mean. “We see each other every day and we talk. We’re kinda similar, we get along very well. And…” She doubted. She felt awkward telling him all this, but after everything Gastón had said to her, she had to be honest, she couldn’t act like there was nothing there. “…He likes me…”
She decided not to mention the kiss. It’d been a mistake and Eric had apologized. But by Gastón’s face, she might as well have.
He looked down, putting on a solemn mask. “…I understand.”
“No, you can’t understand,” Nina said immediately, and this time she meant the strength with which she spoke. She didn’t know where it came from but suddenly it was burning, and when he met her gaze this time, she looked at him straight on. “You can’t possibly understand because I don’t. Everyone’s telling me that I should give Eric a chance and, honestly, there are many reasons why I should, starting with the fact that he’s here and wants to be with me, but I can’t even think about being with Eric because I can’t stop thinking about you.”
Now it was him that was rendered speechless. His eyes searched hers, a new light in them, and she’d already taken the jump, so she let the words fall whenever they led her.
“You may have gone very far away physically, but you stayed in my heart,” she confessed. The most real, hardest truth she’d ever had to admit. “And with it stayed the sadness, and this horrible feeling that I’m missing something…”
Gastón didn’t doubt this time— He took her hands in his.
“I feel the same,” he said with both relief and desperation. “I’ve been feeling the same way all these weeks, Nina. I miss you like I didn’t even think I could miss someone. I’ve been so angry at myself for letting you go when it was the last thing I wanted.” His right thumb ran over her knuckles and he followed the caress with his eyes. Nina felt it like a spark. “I know I have no right to ask you anything… But I just can’t go back without at least trying to get you back.”
“…But then… we’d be together but apart again?” She said, discouraged by that bleak future. They’d already been through that— Did he really want to go back to it?
“You were the one who said that I was never really gone,” he noted. “As long as we still have each other here…” He brought their joined hands to his chest. “…Isn’t that all that matters?”
She didn’t know if she could feel his heart against her fingers or if it seemed so because she could see it through his eyes. She was too overwhelmed. “Gastón—”
“Say yes, Nina.” He squeezed her hands. “Please.”
She wanted to say yes. She wanted to jump into his arms and hug him tightly. She wanted to believe that love conquered all and they would be okay.
But she had thought that once. She’d believed it with all her heart, all through that summer, only for him to put an end to the story she’d been trying to write.
She couldn’t just forget about all the nights she’d spent crying over him since then. Names in the sea or not, it had been the death of something and she’d mourned it. Her heart was just starting to heal a little and he wanted her to rip all the carefully placed stitches and re-open the wound once more?
What if it just bled out again? What if their love wasn’t enough?
“… I need to think about it.”
Gastón looked disheartened but nodded and let go of her hands, lowering them slowly. “Yeah, of course. I understand.” He tucked his hands inside the pockets of his jacket, like stopping himself from reaching for her once more. “I leave in three days. If you could tell me by then…”
Nina nodded, utterly unsure of how she was even gonna make heads of what she felt to come to an answer, but knowing that it was the least Gastón deserved, and she as well.
She either chose to give themselves another chance… or she closed this chapter forever.
She knew it wouldn’t be easy no matter which she chose.
****************
Luna couldn’t understand what was happening.
She’d gone out for ice cream with Michel just like they’d promised. One second they were goofing around, laughing like always, and then the next, Michel was kissing her.
She froze, her brain scrambling to comprehend the situation. She hadn’t expected a kiss. She hadn’t given any sign for a kiss. He hadn’t just stumbled and fallen into her mouth, right? Nono, he was holding her face, and the way he was pressing against her lips was way too deliberate. Which meant it wasn’t a joke either, and even if it had been, it’d be a terrible one.
Finally, the repulsion she felt broke through the paralysis of confusion and she pulled away from Michel.
“What are you doing?” She asked, shaken up.
Michel was grinning. “I don’t know, I kissed you,” he said with a dreamy expression like something magical had just happened.
Meanwhile, it must have been one of the few times in her life Luna couldn’t see any good in a situation.
“Yeah, I realize that,” she replied, and she really couldn’t help the bite in her voice. “But, why? I mean, I didn’t— I never told you to kiss me!”
Michel’s shoulders deflated and his smile began to fade. “What are you saying? You didn’t like it?”
“Michel, how could I like it?” She honestly couldn’t believe he was even asking right now. Was he that detached from reality? In what world did he think this was okay? “We talked about this, didn’t we? Yesterday.”
“Yes, but,” he showed a tentative smile, “you said we are like birds of a feather and that you like hanging out with me…”
“Yeah, as friends,” she declared, keeping his gaze so he knew she was serious. A grimace wrinkled her face from all this situation. “God, Michel, you misunderstood everything, I thought we’d made things clear.”
Michel’s face finally lost all its light and became covered with remorse. “Luna, I’m sorry. Can we talk about this?”
“Why, I don’t know— Are we gonna talk and then you’ll try to kiss me tomorrow?!”
At seeing him wince in pain and regret, Luna’s outrage decreased somewhat; she didn’t want to be mean.
She closed her eyes, sighing heavily. “Look, Michel, I’m sorry, but this made me very uncomfortable and I need to go.”
She passed by his side and walked away, not looking back once, even when she heard him calling her name.
She wasn’t just shocked, she was hurting. She trusted Michel, she thought they were friends, she thought this outing had been as friends— Had he been just waiting for an opportunity to do this? Couldn’t he have at least leaned in slowly so she could move away instead of grabbing her face like that?
She rubbed her lips with the back of her hand as if that would somehow erase it. She knew it was just a kiss and she was probably exaggerating but… If she said she didn’t want something and then he just did it anyway, that was… that was just wrong.
She speed-walked to her house, wanting nothing more than to forget this happened.
A few meters away, a fresh bouquet of flowers laid discarded on the ground.
**********************
Ámbar felt the fresh air against her face. She closed her eyes for a moment, just taking in the feeling of her racing heart and the energy flowing through her muscles. She really had missed this.
She was standing by the lime green railing of the center of the park, her back and elbows resting on the metal as she took a break to refill her energy. She’d done pirouettes and jumps around this fenced circumference for a little over an hour, earning some appreciative stares from people passing by, which she enjoyed greatly. She loved feeling admired, especially because she loved what she did and knew how hard it’d been to reach this level. She remembered how her love for rollerskating had been born and wondered if any of the people who’d seen her today had left wanting to learn how to do the same. She hoped they tried it— It was a beautiful sport.
Eventually, she’d dropped the techniques and just skated around the park, looking at the scenery, at the sky, just letting her mind wander as the homely feeling of sliding on wheels lulled her accumulated stress away. When had been the last time she’d skated just for the sake of it, no choreographies or competitions in mind? It seemed like a lifetime ago.
A vibration on her jeans pocket made her open her eyes. Her heart jumped with excitement. She pulled out her phone and saw the contact she had been waiting for.
My love💙: All done, you can come back 👍
My love💙: Go directly to your room
Ámbar skated to a nearby bench to take off her helmet and change back into her boots. She wondered what Simón had planned. Maybe he’d cooked her something? She knew he and Pedro used to take care of cooking when they lived in the loft. Nico apparently couldn’t be trusted to make toasts without burning them. She wondered what kind of dishes Simón knew how to make. Maybe he could teach her some and she could make him pancakes. She was sure she could do it with some guidance from Mónica.
The idea made her smile as she made her way back to the mansion. She quickly wiped it off when she realized, showing a neutral face instead. Oh god, she’d just smiled to herself in the middle of the street. Was this what had become of her? Ámbar Smith, smiling in public like a love-struck fool. She blamed Simón.
She welcomed the heating system when she entered the mansion. She hadn’t realized how the early evening air had cooled her until she felt the contrast with indoors. Following Simón’s instruction, she rearranged her stuff in her hands and climbed up the staircase.
The minute she walked into her room, she stopped in her tracks.
“What the…”
Half her room had been invaded by bedsheets. From the foot of her bed to the back was some kind of tunnel made of different blankets, which didn’t reach higher than her waist. Some things from her shelves were on top of the ends of the blankets on each side; she gathered they worked as weights so the blankets didn’t fall off. The back of the tunnel opened into her closet. She could hardly see it— It was completely covered by bedsheets. It was like having a tent in her room.
At the front of the tunnel, she recognized the pink round ottoman she usually kept in her closet. It was standing on its side instead of the usual way, so it blocked the entrance to the archway of fabrics. Just then, she watched it slide to the right, leaned against her bedside. Behind it, crawling to fit under the blankets, appeared Simón, grinning from ear to ear.
“Surprise.”
Ámbar’s mouth was hanging open.
“I… What is all this?” She said with a stupefied smile.
“You said you’d never built blanket forts before, so I decided to make one for you,” he announced cheerily. “Come on in, check it out.” He crawled to the back. “Close in your way in!”
Still dumbfounded, Ámbar left her rollerskates and helmet on the floor next to her vanity. Usually, she’d put them back in their place first thing, but considering her closet was now a fort, that would have to wait.
She kicked off her boots and got on her knees to enter the tunnel. As she went inside, the construction became more evident: The blankets were hanging from her vanity’s chair, one of her sofa chairs and her desk on the left side, and from her bed, her second sofa chair and her pink bench on the right. She turned to put the ottoman back in its place and realized it basically worked as a sliding door. Wow, her boyfriend was so clever.
She crawled to the back, where Simón was waiting for her, sitting crossed-legged. The whole floor was covered in her dark grey carpet, and there were many pillows and blankets placed around. Bedsheet walls —there was no other way to describe it— flowed down at her right, left and in front of her closet’s shelves. Ámbar simply couldn’t believe her eyes.
“I asked Mónica to make us some snacks,” Simón said, still smiling, placing a small tray with food and drinks between them as she sat on his left. “I gathered you’d be hungry from skating. Oh! Wait, I forgot something.” He reached for an extension cord on his right and flicked the switch. Light shone all around them. “There you go.”
Ámbar looked around. Two garland lights had lit up, one on each side of them. She looked up, finding an arrangement of tiny golden lights illuminating the bedsheet ceiling. Were those Christmas lights? Where had he even gotten those?
The more she looked, the more details of his work she noticed. The bedsheet walls existed because he’d attached two parallel strings from the back of the closet to the front to hang them from. He’d taken care of hiding the cables of the lights so they wouldn’t disturb the space. There were at least three bedsheets, and she wasn’t even going to count the number of blankets he’d used in all of this.
She remembered his words that morning in the bathtub. “Don’t you feel like we’re in our own little world like this?”
It did feel like that. Like he had built a world just for her.
“Wow…”
“Do you like it?”
She could feel his eyes on her, but she couldn’t tear her own from the splendor around her.
“It’s… perfect,” she said with some difficulty. Her throat had gotten tight. No one had ever put this much effort into doing something for her.
“I mean…” Simón relativized, looking around with a little grimace. “I did have to tape a lot of things together because they kept falling off…”
“Do not mess with my fort; it’s perfect,” she countered him strongly, trying to hide the tremble in her voice.
Simón chuckled lightly. His eyes stared into hers, and he must have noticed the emotion in them because his expression softened. He didn’t comment on it, just handed her a snack from the tray with a gentle smile. “Let’s eat then.”
They shared the food in comfortable silence until conversation arose naturally. How had her skating gone, how he’d found Christmas lights. It didn’t go any deeper than that.
Once finished, Simón slid the tray outside of the bedsheet wall. “To make sure we don’t knock over anything. I’ll take it back later.”
Ámbar leaned on her hands to move closer to him and kissed him. She needed to do so for a while now. He tasted of the juice he’d just drunk. It stayed on her lips as she pulled away.
“So,” she said curiously, “what do we do now?”
“I’m not sure,” Simón replied, and began to pile some pillows behind them, against the closet’s doors. “Usually when I did this I was with a friend or a cousin.”
Ámbar settled against the pillows as he did the same. “And what did you do with them?”
“We talked about kid stuff, like videogames or cartoons we were watching…”
“Uh huh…”
“Or we imagined that this was our secret base and we were professional spies, and we had to crack some code to get into the bad guys’ files or infiltrate their base to beat them.”
She gave him an appreciative look. “You’re saying I’m dating an ex-CIA agent? That’s hot.”
“Who said I ever retired?” He replied with a flirty brow lift.
Both chuckled. They shared a soft peck and Ámbar snuggled closer to him, circling her arms around his middle and resting her head on his shoulder.
“What about you?” He asked, moving some strands of her hair back. She looked up at him. “What did you play with your friends?”
“We usually invented stories for the barbies.” She dug deep into her memories, bringing back those moments long past that she hadn’t thought of in years. “Like, there was Sofía, Nicole and Camila and they were best friends, and they did everything together, from shopping to saving the world…”
“That sounds very cool.”
“It was, until Camila found out that Nicole had hooked up with her boyfriend.”
His eyes widened. “Nooo.”
“Yes.”
“That bitch.”
“Right? How could she do that to her after she bought her tickets to Milan’s fashion week?”
“The audacity. I hope Camila put her in her place.”
“Hell yeah she did. We cut her hair and everything.”
Both laughed. The things one did as a kid.
“There was this other story,” she continued after a while, “in which the doll was in love with this guy that was about to fly to another country, so she had to run to the airport to catch him before he left to tell him she loved him, but the craziest things happened to her on the way there, making it suuuper difficult.”
“Did she ever catch him?”
Ámbar turned pensive.
“I wanna believe she did,” she responded. “That she told him she loved him, and he loved her too, and they lived happily ever after.” She looked up at Simón.
“Even with the distance?” He asked, caressing her arm softly.
“Well, no one says he could never come back,” she stated. “Or she could’ve gone to him. I’m sure they found a way.”
Simón smiled, looking into her eyes as he tucked a lock of her hair behind her ear. “Yeah, I think so too.”
Their gazes stayed locked until the gravity pulled them in. Their mouths met for a long second, fitting perfectly against the other’s. The kiss turned into many— Soft, languid touches of their lips that felt better than even skating.
“Did you do this with your friends too?” She couldn’t help but quip.
Simón let out a laugh. “Definitely not.” And he went back to kissing her.
Ámbar felt light; lighter than she ever remembered being. Safe, calm, warm— Like wrapped in a blanket after having been cold. Simón was like that. Like the first sunny days after winter. Like a warm bath after a long day. Like sitting in front of the hearth after having been drenched in the rain. Little things that made everything better. He was made of them, and he took care of giving her each one.
He didn’t only help her find who she wanted to be, but he also allowed her to be the carefree little girl she never got to be. Simón gave her things she didn’t realize she needed until she lived them.
Ámbar pulled back slowly and looked into his eyes.
“My love?”
“Yes?”
She curled her fingers around his t-shirt, trying to find the words to express everything she felt.
“Really, thank you so much for this. It’s… the nicest thing someone has ever done for me and…” She swallowed. “I love you. So much. So much so that it kind of makes me wanna cry.” She chuckled weakly, a little strangled.
Simón’s eyes danced with hers, deep and soft and yet burning.
He smiled and held one of her hands. “Ámbar Smith… You are my heart. I swear if it beats it’s because of you. Why should you thank me for anything if thanks to you I’m alive?”
Ámbar’s throat got too tight to answer. Her heart was beating hard in her chest, like trying to go to him. All of her, from the tips of her fingers to the soles of her feet, yearned to cling to him.
She pulled his face to hers and joined their lips tightly.
Simón responded like he felt the same, with the same depth and intensity, but she doubted he could love her a third of how much she loved him.
They unclothed each other slowly, kissing reverently each extension of skin they uncovered. Under those sheets and golden lights, Ámbar felt like they were the only thing that existed. The universe started and ended with him— With each touch of his hands, each kiss from his lips.
The fur of the carpet was soft against her back as he slid inside of her. They gasped against each other’s mouths, a shared sound of rightness. Ámbar embraced him with her whole body and breathed in his scent as she followed the gentle rocking.
Simón left kisses on her cheek, her neck, her collarbone. Ámbar dug her fingers into the softness of his hair and she stared at their fort. The lights above looked like stars. Her eyes absorbed each wrinkle, each mix of color, each scotch tape attached to a fabric. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. She would’ve changed all her wealth for having this. For having Simón. Always.
He was pushing deep between her legs, as if he too wanted to live inside her and never leave her side. He panted her name and she held him tighter, feeling how the sensations flooded her and stole her breath.
He touched her where they were joined, looked into her eyes, and then everything exploded, turning Ámbar into stardust.
She was barely corporeal as she felt Simón let go, dissolve in her with his breath against her neck.
A tear fell down her cheek.
Simón saw the wet trail when he straightened and, instantly, his face filled with worry. He opened his mouth and Ámbar could see the questions in his eyes. What happened? Are you okay? Did I do something wrong?
But he didn’t voice any of them. Because he looked into her eyes and he understood. Just like that, he understood. Ámbar loved him even more for it.
Simón gave her a soft smile, with just the slightest speck of sadness, and kissed the salt off her skin. That was what he always did— Accept the fragile and unsure her, not just the laughs and her best moments.
She used to think she had to be perfect to be loved. He showed her that wasn’t needed.
Simón grabbed a blanket to cover them both and brought her to his chest. Ámbar pressed her forehead to his warm skin and closed her eyes.
“I wish we never had to leave this fort,” she said softly. “We could just stay here forever. Freeze time, right on this moment.”
Then she wouldn’t have to worry anymore. She wouldn’t have to keep secrets. She wouldn’t get scared every time she felt happy. They’d never have the chance to break each other’s hearts.
She felt the vibrations on his chest as Simón hummed.
“That would be nice…” He agreed, weakly gracing her shoulder with movements of his thumb. “But I’m more excited about all the new things I can still share with you.”
Her breathing stopped for a second. Ámbar looked up and found Simón smiling at her, that smile that was the sweetest she had ever known and sometimes wondered how her life had been before she saw it. His eyes were shining, full of possibilities.
Ámbar looked at him, and against all odds, she began to laugh.
“What?” Simón asked, but she just shook her head, looking away in disbelief.
How was it that he could brighten everything with just one phrase? One second to the other, just like that? It wasn’t fair. It almost made it seem like everything she’d been worrying about were just silly things. So not fair.
Ámbar sighed, and after a beat, brought her gaze back to him.
“Do you like pancakes?”
Simón frowned, clearly confused by the change of topic. “Yeah, why?”
Ámbar smiled and settled back with her head against his chest.
“No reason.”
..

(I had never written Gastina, so apology to the shippers if I didn’t get it right, but I believe it turned out pretty decent.)
Not a lot of plot advancement on this one, but I really wanted to give them, and you, this one sweet moment to hold onto. I've had the draft for this last scene since July 16th of *last year*, just so you get an idea of how long I have to wait to post the things I have in mind.
I really love this chapter, I hope you do too <3
I'll leave some reference pictures here. The first one is a drawing that I made. It was only meant for me to visualize the fort, so I apologize for the mess. If I had planned back then to share it with you guys, I would've made it prettier 😅

Okay... top 5 SL moments this far and your top 5 Sl characters (this far)
let's go!!!
SL moments (not really in order)
eres in 01x38 i will NEVER recover from this is was such a cute and wholesome moment and they were just having so much fun, like it's genuinely one of the only soy luna moments i've rewatched quite a few times? man i love lumon
a bit hypocritical from someone who can't stand matteo i'll admit that, but profugos in 01x26, overall that open was so fun and i had so much fun this episode, but this performance is one of my favorite from the whole season, literally the only time matteo was being bi and it didn't make me go through the five stages of grief because i couldn't angrily call him cishet and idk it was just a very fun moment, i also think it was hilarious how the gayer matteo was acting the more eager luna was to get between him and simon like yes girl don't let the bitch hit on your man. also really a fan of the french translation of the lyrics specifically changing for this performance to acknowledge matteo was singing to simon and not to a girl lmao
that moment right after lumon's first kiss where simon asked her out on a date and immediately started running without waiting for her yelling "the last there pays!!!" and she ran after him complaining it wasn't fair like HELL YEAH that's the best friends to lovers content i was looking for!!!!
the roller band doing something nice for ramiro even tho he refused to give them that producer's number and that leading to ramiro genuinely reflecting on his behaviour like hell yeah!!!! ramiro had always showed he responded to encouragment and gentle explanations way better than harsh criticism and like seeing him actually, genuinely, trying to fix his mistakes because people were kind to him and that made him realize what he did was wrong? girl i was SO here for it, i was so happy!!!!!
i wouldn't say it's like. a favorite moment but gaston asking ramiro out stuck with me the whole season and i'm still WAITING to see them interact more so i'll answer that one
also as bonus one, not really a fav either but i was quite fond of gaston and nina's photography class moments
EDIT: forget gaston and ramiro or gaston and nina, i remembered an actual moment i loved with all my heart!!!! i don't remember when but at some point luna and simon danced together (maybe during the daniela arc?) and it was SUCH a wholesome moment, it really showed their love for each other and i was sitting there like UGH i love them so much!!!!
SL characters, not much has changed here but!
5. ambar but girl i feel so bad for this but i almost replaced her with sharon 😭😭 LIKE in the end i didn't do it because i don't love sharon more than ambar but i find her to be such a compelling character? i think she's a good character but yeah in the end it would have felt wrong not to put ambar here, because she's just as interesting and i know she'll only keep getting better so i'm very!! and ESPECIALLY because it's ambar i would never have put sharon before her 😭
4. simon!!! best boy for real, he's such a good soul and i love him a lot <3
3. luna <3 honestly i hesitated a lot to put her second because the more episodes i'm watching the more she's growing on me, like i've always loved her but!!! she's so good!!! i love her!!! she's my baby girl and i want her to be happy!!! i think she's a good mc and i'm glad it's her story i'm following
2. delfi, lately the focus hasn't really been on her you know, which is also why i hesitated to put her third, but when i remember some of her scenes earlier in the season i get all !! she's just such an interesting character and i love her so much
1. ramiro <333 idk he just makes me so happy? like every time he's on screen i get :] and he's truly the only one making me feel that way in the show, i think i truly need more ramiro content if i want to get to the end of this show without losing my sanity because he just improves every scene he's in

Soy Luna 1x80
Finally finishing season 1 after like half a year
We’ll deserved Ambar I don’t know why she was willing to ruin the entire performance just to be the only protagonist
GASTINA KISS
Happened very quickly especially for someone as shy as Nina but I’ll take it cuz they’re cute together
Sharon should’ve hid the box herself in the first place what was she even thinking
Ricardo what the fuck
I think that was supposed to be funny but it was just really creepy lmao
YES LUNA finally standing up for herself against Ambar
Who put those braids on Tamara’s head? 🤨
Matteo I love that you’re just trying to appreciate your last moments here but there’s too much going on rn for you to just be chilling lol
Aw he gave Simon his helmet 🥲
That handshake felt like Simon was officially letting go of Luna :(((
Ambar this literally wouldn’t be happening if you didn’t try to sabotage her I beg you to gain an ounce of self awareness
Manifesting Luna not taking any of Ambar’s shenanigans next season
Monica and Miguel are here does that mean Luna didn’t fail lol
The way Simon just zoomed out of there lmao
But that performance was pretty good definitely their best all season
“Pedrito 😏”
Is Ambar actually having character development or will she be back to her normal self next episode because she went from “that solo is MINE” to “we’re ALL protagonists” way too quickly for me
Simon made it!
The serotonin i just got from that song
So I’m just supposed to accept that Ambar is nice now?
Jim and Yam are still the real soulmates of this show
Soft Ramiro is the best Ramiro
Valiente best Roller Band song
She missed the song but she’s there and that’s all that matters!
Cool a new song
Matteo singing from the car :(
I was feeling this song but now Ramiro’s rapping :/
Still cute though
Thought that was the end of the episode for a second
MATTEO???
Aw he found the necklace
“Eres Luna y brillas como el sol” lowkey cheesy but it gave me butterflies
However as someone who hasn’t really seen any chemistry between them these confessions feel like they came out of nowhere, at least for how dramatic they are
Like it would’ve been more believable if Matteo confessed first since he was lowkey already planning to
Oh he’s still leaving? I don’t know why I thought he decided to stay for her lol
That ending was probably satisfying for Lutteo shippers but this is just the start of me trying to ship them now that I can’t avoid it anymore so it felt a bit anticlimactic for me lol
I hated Mateo at the beginning of this season but i like him now so I’m sure I won’t have any problem with them next season and i promise I won’t be as negative about them all the time especially now that Simon has moved on

Ok, but you haven't rewritten Soy Luna (yet...), so you can't give out any spoilers there! So!
If you would rewrite Soy Luna, what would you change with the individual characters? Like, "I would write this character like this instead".
Now, this is only how I feel in the heat of the moment, and also it might not be all the characters. Just the ones I think about.
Also, edit, this was really hard without talking about how I'd change a bunch of storylines. Cause this would be focused on the characters more, but they'd also change in storylines.
Luna: I think I'd make her more focused on friendship than romance. She already is in the show, but almost everyone in the show is pushing her to date boys all the time. She can't mention a boy without people asking if she has a crush. She'll still have a romantic plot, but it won't really be the same. Oh, and she would not be that disrespectful to Juliana. Of course, she had a right to call her out, but at times she also behaved rather childishly and I was on Juliana's side lol. I would just remove that little thing. Oh, also, she wouldn't compete in 2x80.
Ámbar: In summary, less bratty, more creepy. For example, I think she's still very picky with the food, but instead of screaming it to the chef's faces, she'll just scream it to Sharon. Now, her brattyness does help with showing how she, too, is just a child and there's an immaturity to her that she tries to hide. But I think we can do it in other ways. For example, I think she'd start off with playing pranks on Luna, but then slowly up her way to just being plain creepy. Like to a degree where she puts up an act around EVERYONE, and she almost does not know who she herself is. I don't know if I am good at describing it, but I love exploring Ámbar's inner thoughts and her identity crisis in S2 is one of the most interesting plots of her character. Also, I'd think I'd have her possibly seek out her bio mom too after the reveal.
Sharon: First of all, more scenes with Luna. I think they interacted way too little, especially in S1 and S3. I'd like there to be some moments in S1 where they just exchange a few words, or just have a casual conversation, and they both feel a sense of familiarity. And in S3, especially towards the end of season, I'd like them to TALK. SPEAK OUT. SOLVE THINGS. AUNT AND NIECE. I also think I’d like her to get more ”visions”. Both flashbacks from the past, but also ”what if” scenarios. As she spirals more and more into insanity, she sees Ámbar and Luna sit together talking and suddenly she’s seeing both of them as little kids. Goes into the kitchen, sees Luna and suddenly she’s little Sol eating a cookie. She goes into Ámbar’s room, suddenly she sees little Ámbar asking her to brush her hair. Also, she’s much more a threat in S3, because in S3… she tbh at times were just hanging around and then in like the final 3 episodes she did something.
Simón: Wouldn’t change much, he is perfect 💜 All I would change is possibly not sleeping in the mansion garage, but rather go stay at a Hotel, or go to stay with Nico and Pedro immediately. Oh, and I'd have him react differently around Daniela. They'd still date for drama purposes but... he's never gonna doubt Luna over anything. Also, he won't decide to go back to Mexico the second he sees Luna kiss someone else, he's gonna see it's a non-consentual kiss (I am having trauma from TWO of these shows that no one saw it as non-consentual and I need to fix it). But otherwise he'd be more or less exactly the same <3
Matteo: Gets held accountable for his crimes /hj
Nina: I think I'd first of all not let her forge Gastón's application. She's still gonna stay in S3, but not due to that journalism for roller skating thing, but because she simply wants to finish her final year and then go to university.
Gastón: He does not break up with Nina. They have a long distance relationship and it works perfectly fine. Otherwise I wouldn't change much.
Ramiro: At first I wouldn't change super much, but I would either give some more impact on him joining Adrenaline, or I would remove the Adrenaline plot entirely because I always forget it exists at every time.
Jim: Make her gayer than she already is <3
Yam: Same as above, but also, her probably knowing more than Jim that she is a lesbian, and giving more hints about it. Also I'd give her more screentime just because <3
Eric: I can allow him to be there, but... he's just gonna be there... maybe just keep him for the "helping him to sing" part, as it can be a fun thing for Nina to go from not daring to sing in public herself to teaching someone else to sing in front of an audience.
Ana: I'm thinking her and Mora having this dating arc kinda going on in the background. Kind of a "hint hint" until they suddenly reveal they're dating. Also she's not gonna date Gary at all, because. She's dating Mora all the time.
Mora: Keep her in S3. And have her drop random hints she's sapphic but then not elaborate. Keep being a sapphic mentor to Jim and Yam at least.
Benicio: He's just gonna be here so that I can make him suffer so much
Emilia: She deserves a redemption. Also I may give some more depth to her. And maybe she has an obvious crush on Ámbar that she refuses to admit.
Juliana: She's gonna stay essentially the same, but be slightly less rude in the beginning. I'm gonna also have her also be a bit of a sapphic mentor too, but to everyone in a way ;)
Jazmin: She's gonna be called out for recording people without their consent. Although, it's gonna be a fun plot where her fans think that everyone in her videos are just acting and that it's not actually true.
Delfi: Basically the same as Jazmin. I'm also gonna maybe change her a bit in S1, but I probably need to rewatch S1 to see exactly how lol.
Everyone else I think I won't change that much or I'm not sure how to rewrite them atm.

The Most Perfect Proposal Chapter 5 (FINAL) (GASTINA)
CHAPTER ONE    CHAPTER TWO    CHAPTER THREE   CHAPTER FOUR      AO3
The song in this fic is A Thousand Years By Cristina Perry
It was the holiday weekend and the Valentes were throwing a party with all of their friends and family to celebrate. It was going to be an afternoon filled with eating, dancing, and music and Nina was looking forward to spending it with her boyfriend and her best friend. However, Nina’s day was not going to go as she had planned it. She knew this from the moment she woke up and her boyfriend was nowhere to be found.
“Gastón?” she called out, padding around the apartment in her slippers. “Gastón? Are you here?”
She entered the kitchen to see a large bouquet of flowers on the table waiting for her. Tucked inside them was a note.
Nina-
Good Morning my love. Today is a special occasion and to celebrate I am sending you on a scavenger hunt. It will take you all over Buenos Aires, so you might want to bring a friend along. Follow the clues and at the end you will find me.
Love,
Gastón.
Nina smiled, holding the card to her thrumming heart. Leave it to her boyfriend to create such a fun surprise. She read over the first clue and then called Luna.
Luna was knocking on the door ten minutes later, looking disheveled from getting ready in five minutes. She wasn’t wearing any jewelry for once, except for the engagement ring that sparkled on her finger. Luna was quite literally bouncing with excitement.
“Nina, I love scavenger hunts,” she said, a giant grin on her face. Nina laughed.
“I know Luna, that's why I called you. Will you help me?”
“Of course! Hand me the first clue!
Nina handed her the card that read “A typical Friday isn’t complete without a trip here.”
Luna seemed deep in thought. “This could mean so many things.”
Nina shook her head. “I am almost positive that it means Full City Cofee Roasters. On Friday’s I get up later than Gastón, so I bring him coffee at work.”
Luna hit her arm. “That must be it! Why are we still waiting here, let’s go!”
The girls ran out of the apartment and called a cab to take them to the coffee shop. When they arrived, they were surprised to see Simón sitting at a table. Simón waved them over.
“I have been here for an hour, did it really take you that long to figure out the first clue?” Simón joked.
“I woke up like twenty minutes ago,” Luna said, giving Simón a hug. “You are part of this plan?”
“Si, I am part of this plan. I’ve also got this for you.” He handed Nina a note. Nina read it, smiling softly at the words.
Nina-
The highlight of my work week is when you bring me coffee. I know that I can always count on you to make stressful days easier. I had Simón order your breakfast, so I hope you are hungry. Enjoy mi amor.
Sure enough, the waitress brought out tea and muffins for the trio followed by strawberry crepes which happened to be Nina’s favorite.
“Simón,” Nina asked, swallowing a piece of her breakfast, “What is Gastón planning?”
“I-”
“No!” interrupted Luna, “Nina this clearly is a surprise, Simón, tell her nothing!”
“Wasn’t going to,” Simón playfully shoved her, “I can’t tell you anything Nina. Gastón has me sworn to secrecy!”
Nina sighed, but knew that she wasn’t going to get anything out of Simón. Although she knew she was going to like the surprise, she wished she had some sort of hint.
After breakfast was finished, Simón got up.
“Well chicas, I am needed elsewhere.” He reached into his pocket and pulled out a card. “Here is your next clue Nina.”
Nina gave Simón a hug. “Thank you, Simón . We will see you later, at the party?”
“Absolutely,” Simón said, and took his leave.
Nina turned the card over in her hands to read her boyfriend’s writing.
Where we had our first dance.
Luna wrinkled her nose. “Your first dance? Where would that even be? How are you supposed to remember that?”
“No Luna, remember when I danced with him as FelicityforNow in your bedroom? Do you think he means that?”
Luna gasped. “You are right! Do you really think it’s in my bedroom at the mansion?”
Nina nodded. “It seems like it would be.”
Luna grabbed her arm. “To the mansion!”
When they pulled up in front of the mansion, the girls hopped out and didn’t even stop to say hello to anyone as they ran up the stairs to Luna’s old bedroom. They walked into Monica sitting on the bed, smiling at the girls. Luna let out a loud laugh.
“Hola girls, I see you solved the second clue,” Monica said, standing up.
“You are part of this Monica?” Nina asked.
“Si, and I have this for you Nina.”
She handed over the second note.
Even though I couldn’t see you, I knew that you were the love of my life. I couldn’t fall asleep that night when I got home because all I could think of was your touch as we danced. As Felicity, it felt as if you were writing directly to my heart. I still feel that when I read your writing. I love dancing with you, mi amor.
Nina sighed and handed it to Luna to read.
“And I have a gift for you too,” Monica said, walking over to the closet. She pulled out a white sundress. Nina put her hand over her mouth.
“What?”
“You better put it on,” Monica said, handing it to her, “And Luna you better change into something different, we are having a party today.  Did you even brush your hair this morning?”
Luna's face showed her guilt as she went to the closet and found something more suitable to wear.
“And I’ll help with your makeup,” a voice said, coming from the hallway. Nina turned to see Ambár standing in the doorway, with her makeup bag in hand. Ambár smiled at Nina, and then looked over at Luna and sighed. “I suppose I’ll help you too. Luna wrapped an arm around Ambár’s shoulder. “Gracias prima. This is so exciting!”
After an hour, Nina was wearing the new dress and some sandals. The girls walked down the stairs to Monica and Miguel smiling at them.
“You look beautiful, Nina,” Miguel said. “And Luna and Ambár.”
Luna snorted. “Thanks papa.”
Monica held out the third clue. “We will see you soon girls.”
“Want to come Ambár?” Nina asked, taking the clue from Monique’s hand.
Ambár shook her head. “I am needed here I think. But good luck.”
Nina turned over the third clue and read it aloud to Luna.
Where I found out the two girls I had crushes on were actually the same person.
The girls looked at each and said in unison:
“Jam and Roller!”
…………….
When they entered the Jam and Roller, the girls made a beeline to the stage where Nina had performed all those years ago and revealed that she was actually FelicityforNow. Pedro was up on stage, messing around with the drums. When he saw them enter, he stopped and shouted.
“Eyy! You found me! I am clue number three!”
Nina laughed. “Hola Pedro, do you have a note for me?”
“I do, it’s-” Pedro started to pat down his pockets. “Hold on, it's somewhere here. Ah! Found it!”
He handed Nina a slightly crumpled note. It read:
I remember the feeling I had when you sang that day and pulled off your wig. It felt like my heart had exploded. You and Felicity were the same person! I felt so stupid for not realizing it earlier. We’ve had a lot of great moments on this stage. I love singing with you mi amor.
The lights went dim and a video started to play on the screen on the stage. It was the video of Gastón and Nina’s performance at Open Music. It wasn’t the last time they would sing together, but it was definitely one of Nina’s favorite moments. Tears came to her eyes as she watched their younger selves singing on stage, so in love even then.
When the video was over, Nina saw that Luna was crying as well.
“You guys were such goals,” Luna sighed, wiping a tear from her eye. “Pedro! Where is our next clue?!?”
Pedro came out from the counter holding a card. “Relax, I have it right here! I hope you enjoyed that blast from the past.”
Luna ripped the clue out his hand. “Nina, read it read it read it!”
Nina eyed her best friend. “You seem to be a little too excited, Luna.”
“I can’t wait to see where it leads, please Nina read it!”
Nina read aloud the next clue.
Our first kiss.
Luna’s mouth fell open. “Well dang. Do you remember that? It was so long ago.”
“Si, claro. Don’t you remember you and Matteo’s?”
“Si it was on the rooftop after The Roller Band performed.”
  “No, Luna it wasn’t.”
“It wasn’t?”
“The skating competition?”
Luna’s eyes grew wide in remembrance and then she shook her head. “That doesn’t count, it was for show. But still, don’t tell Matteo that. Let’s go to the next place!”
Nina led Luna outside to the fountain where Gastón and Nina had first kissed. They saw Ramiro skating around it, performing tricks.
“Ramiro!” Luna shouted, and waved him down.
“Hey chicas,” he said, skating up to them. “What’s up?”
Luna and Nina exchanged glances. “Do you have something for us?”
Ramiro raised an eyebrow. “Like what?”
Nina’s face turned red, “Nevermind, sorry to bother you.”
Ramiro grabbed her arm, laughing. “I’m kidding. Here is a note from Gastón.”
Nina unfolded it and Luna read it over her shoulder.
I should have kissed you as soon as I found out you were Felicity. I should have ran on that stage and professed my love for you. But it’s okay, because eventually I did which led us here, and I kissed you for the first time. I loved you so much Nina, but then I let you go. And it was the biggest regret of my life.
The note ended, leaving Nina confused. “Is there not another page?” she asked Ramiro.
“No, just the last clue.” He pulled out the card and handed it to Nina. On it was one short line.
Where I corrected my mistake.
Nina looked at Luna. “This is the last clue.”
Luna squealed. “So this is where Gastón is going to be waiting!”
“Oh and I have this for you too,” Ramiro said, skating over to his bag. He pulled out some headphones connected to what looked like Gastón’s phone. “You are to listen to this as you are walking to the final place.” Ramiro put the headphones on Nina and smiled as he hit play.
The sound of a piano filled her head and soon Gastón’s voice could be heard. Luna was dying to know what Nina was hearing, but silently walked by her side as they headed through the park.
Prometer
Nunca te olvidaré
Como vencer, como
Amarte sin caer por tí
Te miro y puedo decir
Mis dudas se van
Alguna manera
Ya no están
Te acercaste…
Nina was not even paying attention to where they were walking, hoping Luna knew the way. She was completely engrossed in the sound of her boyfriend singing to her, for her.
Podría morir
Y esperarte una vida
No tengas miedo a sentir
Te amaría por mil años más
 amarte por mil años más
As the song came to an end, Nina noticed they were coming to the river, where Nina would read to Gastón and where Nina and Gastón had gotten back together after five long years apart. Matteo was standing in front of them. Luna ran to embrace him, him laughing as he kissed her cheek.
Nina took the headphones out her ears.
“Matteo, what are you doing here?” Nina asked looking around for Gastón but not seeing him.
“I am here for this,” Matteo took the phone out of Nina’s hands.
“And for you,” he continued, facing Luna and grabbing her hand. “Come Luna, Nina needs to go ahead alone.”
“Que?” Luna asked, “I can’t go with her?”
Matteo laughed at Luna’s pouting face. “No, I’m afraid not. This is just for Nina.”
“But I was doing so well,” Luna grumbled. Matteo kissed her head.
“Will it make you feel better if I make you a scavenger hunt sometime? That leads to chocolate?”
Luna brightened up, letting go of Matteo’s hand so she could hug Nina.
“Good luck Nina, promise to tell me everything at the party later?”
“Sí, claro,” Nina replied, letting her go. She waved goodbye as Luna and Matteo walked in the opposite direction. Not much farther she could see the bench that was her and Gastón’s favorite spot. Waiting in front of it was Gastón.
He was dressed in a suit, pacing back and forth in front of the bench. When he saw Nina walking towards him, he lit up and stopped. She wrapped her arms around him, kissing his lips softly.
“Thank you for the scavenger hunt Gastón, and the lovely presents,” she said, holding him. “The dress and the song and the video, it was so wonderful.”
“I’m glad you liked them. I have one last thing for you.”
She pulled back and he took her hands in his. She had always liked how her hands seemed to fit perfectly inside of his.
“Nina. I have loved you since we were in school. You were my dream girl. Smart, funny, and caring not to mention so breathtakingly beautiful, inside and out. I can’t believe that I ever let you go.”
“But you have me now,” Nina reminded him.
“I do, and I never want to make that same mistake again. I want to make sure that you are there every morning with me. I want you to always be there to dance with me and to sing with me and go to movies and read to me aloud when I am sick. I want to be at your side when you win a Nobel Peace Prize in writing. Nina, I want to be your husband.”
Gastón knelt on one knee. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a blue velvet box.
“Nina, will you marry me?”
Nina was at a loss of words. All she could do was nod, shaking as Gastón slipped the ring with its large diamond in the middle with little diamonds clustered around it. It glinted as it settled perfectly on her fingers. He stood up and Nina wrapped her arms around his neck, crying as she held him. He kissed her, whispering I love you over and over in between the kisses. When they finally left the park, Nina was still shaking. She hadn’t imagined that she would get engaged today.
They entered the backyard of the mansion to an eruption of cheers. Everyone seemed to know now that Gastón had proposed to Nina. Luna ran up to her, tackling her in a hug. Nina was a little overwhelmed by the attention thrust upon them, but was smiling the whole time.
“Congratulations Nina!” Luna exclaimed, not letting go of her friend. “I couldn’t believe it when Matteo told me!”
“I can’t believe it either,” Nina replied.
Luna gasped and looked at her friend. “We can go wedding dress shopping together!”
Nina laughed. “Sí, we can plan together.”
“And what about me?” Ambár said, approaching them, “Can’t I be a part of this planning party?”
“Of course Ambár,” Nina said, giving Ambár a hug as well.
Luna joined in, squeezing her way in between the both of them.
“A triple wedding?” she asked.
Ambár’s face paled. Luna laughed.
“I’m kidding, but it will be fun planning three different weddings!”
Looking on drinking flutes of champagne were the grooms to be: Simón, Matteo, and Gastón.
“Well lads, I think we did well,” Matteo said, watching the girls.
“Agreed,” Gastón said, “And I am very happy with how everything turned out. I couldn’t have done it without you two, thank you.”
Simón patted him on the shoulder. “Of course. Now, mis amigos, we can celebrate.” He held up his champagne glass.
“To our three beautiful fiances!”

Well she didn’t think about you
Well it’s still because of you Gary
...Only now I notice Ramiro has tie..Seems weird but okay
Poor Yam she sounds so hurt
They don’t even know what are you talking about Jazmin
Really none of you expected that after what he was saying to Luna?
...Why Gary just took Emilia’s and Benicio’s juices
‘My version of events’ ...I think you mean ‘My reasoning’Ramiro?
Ambar aside from anything else Benicio’s and Emilia’s behaviour is partially why he is annoyed so I don’t think he would enjoy being in team with themXD I love her trying to do this though
Ambar telling Simon he should be more egoistic while trying to get him to join Red Sharks same episode, the same day in universe, in which Yam is angry at Ramiro for being egostic for joining Red Sharks. I see pararells
...Also with Matteo saying same episode, the same day n universe that he was too egoistic in relationship with Luna there is really lot of ship related talking about egoism in this episode and day in universe
What talk is she talking about? ...The one is second episode of this season makes most sense I guess?
Ambar saying he looks more handsome when he is angry, talking about who say what’s good and what’s bad, and saying he should be more egoistical is like ‘Aren’t you tired of being nice? Don’t you just want to go ape shitt?’
Also Luna’s face when Ambar says that Simon is more handsome when he is angryXD
Luna’s face right before Ambar says that:
Tumblr media
After:
Tumblr media
Doesn’t have to do with what?
Ghost Gary. New thing for supernatural au. ...Ghost have custody of team of vampires trained by a witch. That is interesting concept. ...Also Nico do you maybe happen to have two more evi uncles?
Why is she talking about it out loud when is still in residence’s grand. And did Sharon ask her if she remembers what she is supposed to do, cause why she is saying it in first place?
I wonder if they think he wants to join Red Sharks. ...Although he did say ‘My time here’ so like at this place, so they probably have no reason to. ...Though he did say ‘Do not count on me, I’m leaving Roller’ first, so they might have thought that for a second

Pink Tulips and Green Chrysanthemums
I just wanted to write a wedding episode and Rowan and Liam came to mind, please enjoy See this page for the original Shelter story and Information!
@jj-pines @kara-is-so-ninja
Rustic wedding venue, nicely decorated with green chrysanthemums, carnation, and bells of Ireland, as well as, light pink tulips, rocktrumpets, and roses. As the sunlight shined into the building,  from the large window, making the whole building have a fairyland atmosphere. "Calvin, I don't know if I can do this," Liam sighed, within the confines of his dressing room. Our baby boy, Liam-Elias, dressed in a warm gray dress-coat, warm gray pants, and a pink button-up dress short, as he stood in front of the mirror. "What do you mean," Calvin laughed, grabbing onto Liam's shoulders, "kid, you going to marry Rowan." "I know, but I worried," Liam sighed. "That's natural," Calvin chuckled. "What were you like when you married Indigo," Liam asked. Calvin chuckled, rubbing the back of his neck, "That was a little different, Elias..." "It was like we had been for years, I mean, yes, my heart was beating ten times fast when she was walking down the to the alter, but I never felt that nervous." Liam chuckled, "Of course," he sighed, rubbing his face. "You are going to be fine, Elias, don't worry," Calvin replied, fixing Liam's collar. "Rowan, bon putain de seigneur, tu as dit que tu voulais me maquiller, reviens ici pour que je puisse peindre ton joli visage!" "Mom, please!" Rowan, at that moment, ran into the room that Liam and Calvin wherein. "Save me, Rowan giggled. Such a gorgeous babe, dawning a black dress shirt with green accents, rolled up sleeves, black pants, green suspenders, a green skirt/train attached to their hips, and a pink tulip pined in their hair. "Fuck," Liam sighed, quietly blushing, "you're alluring." "So, she is trying to put you in make-up," Calvin asked. "Yes, but I told her no," Rowan remarked. Calvin laughed, "You can't ju-" "Let them stay," Liam replied. "Thank you," Rowan sighed, "You look ravishing." "I'll go hold of the French bombshell," Calvin laughed, before leaving the room. Liam blushed more as Rowan walked up to him and cupped his face, "what's wrong?" "I'm a bit nervous," Liam sighed. "Then the world is upsidedown," Rowan chuckled, "because I am not nervous." "How," Liam whined. "Because I am marrying you." "God, I sound like a jackass," Liam sighed, kissing the inside of Rowan's wrist, "I'm marrying you and I over here like: uhm am I little nervous bitch!" Rowan giggled, taking a green chrysanthemum from a nearby vase and pining it to Liam's coat, "everything is going to be alright." "Hearing that from you makes me feel better," Liam sighed, finally looking them in the eyes, "baby." Rowan let out a small giggled as they blushed. "ROWAN," Indigo yelled, busting into the room. Rowan yelped and hid behind Liam, "I AM NOT WEARING MAKE-UP!" "Indigo, your not getting ahold of them," Liam chuckled. "Give me my child," Indigo laughed. "Never," Rowan laughed, moving from behind Liam to beside, "My face will stay clear like Liam like it!" "Alright," Calvin chuckled, taking his stance beside Indigo, "you both want to get married, right?" "Come on, dad, it's just a little fun," Rowan remarked, smiling. "Let's let Elias finish getting ready, lavender sprig," Indigo stated, heading for the room, with Calvin following, undoubtedly to kiss her goodbye, even though they would be each other again in under 15 minutes. "I will be there in just a second," Rowan sighed, standing back in front of Liam. Silence filled the room as the door shut, leaving Rowan and Liam to stare at each other. Liam could take in all of Rowan's features and Rowan the same. Their freckles, his magenta eyes, the scar on their left eye, the scar on his nose,  and the soft smiles they both held. The room now smelled of both lemons and lavender, their scents that always mixed well. "I need to leave," Rowan sighed, breaking the silence. Liam sighed, he felt calm with them beside him, like he could take over the world with them just by his side. "Alright." Rowan could see the frown appearing on his face, "you'll see me soon," they said, cupping his face, "now smile." Liam smiled, good lord he wanted to kiss them so severely, "go, because I want to kiss you," he said, trying not to laugh. "Why can't you kiss me now," Rowan replied with a smirk. "because it's-it's part of the-uhm- like... unspoken rules of marrying someone," Liam answered, struggling to find the right words. "I think we are already breaking one of the rules," Rowan remarked, "because I have already seen my bride." Liam fought himself inside he wanted to grab their face and kiss them, "Rowan, please, I can't take it," he sighed, caressing their cheek. "Fine," Rowan sighed, stilling holding their smirk. Rowan turned to leave, so Liam turned back to the mirror. Although Rowan turned back around and kissed Liam cheek, leaving Liam shocked, "you know I hate stupid rules," they sighed with a smirk, "I love you, see you soon, my dove!" Liam touched his cheek, still feeling Rowan's chapstick, "I want to taste their chapstick, more than ever, right now,"  he sighed, to himself. As Liam thought of kissing Rowan for a few moments, the door opened, his mother, Sophie, stood in the doorframe, smiling on the verge of tears. "My handsome boy," the 61-year-old woman sighed, opening arms to hug him. "Mom," he exclaimed, hugging his mother tightly. "My baby boy is getting married," she sighed. Liam chuckled as his mother hugged him, "I'm so proud of you, Elias," Sophie sighed, tears forming in her eyes. "Come on," Liam sighed, "don't cry." "I'm not crying," Sophie chuckled as she wiped stray tears from her face, "I am just so happy for you." Sophie cupped her son's face, "I love you, I'm glad that you're relaxed, for what seems like the first time in a long time," she sighed. "I love you too, mom," Liam replied. "Now, come on, let's get you married," Sophie remarked, with a smile. Sophie grabbed her son's hand, leading him to the closed doors of the wedding hall, "are you ready?" Liam sighed, "yes." The doors opened, showing a large room full of friends and family. Rowan stood at the end of the wedding aisle with their twin 10-year-old brothers, Roland and Ramiro, standing beside them. "Christ," Rowan muttered, blushing, as Liam walked to them. Liam flashed Rowan his signature bright smile as he stepped on the platform, "Fuck," Rowan muttered, trying to hide their face. "What was that," Liam chuckled, with a smirk and narrowed eyes, taking ahold of their chin and making them look at him. "Nothing, I said nothing," Rowan muttered. Sloan cleared his throat, "would you like to like to began." "Yes," Liam said, shaking his head with a smile. "Welcome everyone to the union of Liam-Elias Braxton Sallow and Rowan Alex Royal," Sloan began, "now, this is the time where I am supposed to say, 'does anyone object to this union,' although I doubt that the lovely couple would allow that." "These rings please, dear," Sloan remarked, as Casper, handed both Rowan and Liam the rings, "Rowan if you would state your vows." Rowan exhaled, "I don't know where to begin, but I need to expel my heart to you in front of almost everyone we know," Rowan took a breath as they rubbed Liam's hand in their own, "I love you, I have loved you for the past four years. I have always felt safe when I am by your side, I have always felt at home when you are near, your bright smile makes my heart leap, and your face," Rowan chuckled, blushing, making Liam do the same, "your damn face. I have never wanted anything more than to be by your side, and call you my husband." Rowan slipped the silver ring onto Liam's left-hand ring finger. "I guess it's my turn now," Liam sighed, with a smile, "I don't know what to say, I love you more than anything, and I would do anything for you. I also think I have proven that more than once. You want to be by my side, and that where I want you to be. I  never want to let you go," Liam brushed Rowan's hair out of their eye, "All I want is you, all of you, Rowan." They stared at each other, as Liam placed the ring on Rowan's right-hand ring finger. "By the power at be I pronounce you married," Sloan exclaimed, "you may now kiss." Liam had been waiting for this part all day!  He grabbed Rowan's face, kissed them deeply, causing them to yelp, in surprise, before melting into his arms, wrapping their arms around his neck. Liam finally got to taste Rowan's chapstick, pink lemonade chapstick, fulled his taste buds. Whereas chapstick doesn't have a savory flavor, Liam loved the taste do possibly to the fact that he was also tasting Rowan's lips, or maybe, he was a weird dude that like the taste of pink lemonade chapstick. Nevertheless: they pulled apart, holding each other close. "I present Liam-Elias Braxton & Rowan Alex Royal-Sallow," Sloan remarked, with a smile. Liam and Rowan walked about the aisle together, and went off the reception, at a more luxurious location. A location that held a massive banquet room with a chandelier in the middle ceiling, fairy lights strung from the chandelier to the columns, a moderately sized dance floor, along with the balcony. Liam was on the balcony, looking out into the field of fireflies, catching a bit of fresh air. "I'm surprised you are not out here with a guitar," Rowan remarked, with a giggle, behind him. "I can't steal one, "He joked, as Rowan made their way beside him. "You could," Rowan muttered, placing their hand on their chin, as they leaned the railing. "I'll play guitar for you when we get home," Liam chuckled. "I never said I wanted you to," Rowan stated, cocking an eyebrow. "Oh-really," Liam chuckled. "All I said is that you could steal the guitar," they replied, turning to him. "Is this going to be our first married fight," Liam remarked, with a smirk, pulling Rowan close to him, placing his hands on their hips. "We are not fighting," Rowan sighed, returning his smirk and wrapping their arms around his neck, pulling him even closer, "I just commented." "And I remarked that I would play for you," Liam replied, "which I will." "Liam." "Yes," he sighed, praying that he would be asked to kiss them. "Did you like the taste on my chapstick," Rowan joked. Liam's face became flushed, "how did yo-" "Running your tongue across my bottom lip and sucking my face in front of everyone we know," Rowan expelled, holding their smirk. Liam let out an awkward chuckle, "Sorry, I couldn't help it." Rowan smiled, "You couldn't help it, mhm." Rowan moved their hands to Liam's cheeks pulling his face closer to their level and kissing him with passion, licking his bottom lip in the process. "Fuck," Liam sighed Rowan just giggled, showing Liam their trademark soft smile, "You are going to kill me with that smile, baby," Liam sighed, his voice deep and soft. "your voice is going to do the same to me, dove," Rowan sighed back.

Writebr Intro
Tumblr media
Writeblr Intro Time!
Hiya! This is so overdue and I apologize for that lol. I’ve been meaning to write this but school seems to always be getting in the way of just that. Writing. But here I am finally writing this! And yes my username is a pun of my own last name but I just couldn’t resist.
So basically, I really want to surround myself with other writers and have stumbled across tons of writeblr’s (I think that’s what they’re called lol). Instantly I was in love and wanted more of what the community had to offer. I’ve been a self-proclaimed “author” or writer since my early years of grade school. I was that child in the back of the class with ADHD that couldn’t sit still (the cliche bouncing leg and always chewed down nails) and had what my mother called an “overactive imagination”. My notebooks in high school were often filled with wild stories about “galaxies far far away” or dystopias with cruel governments ruled by dictators. Now I’m in my second year of college swamped with classes about the Psychology of criminals (or I like to call the science of murder), and trying to find time to write a novel. So the struggle is real my dudes.
A little about Me:
Hana
20
She/Her
Pisces
Asexual
Forensic Psychology Major and English with a concentration in Writing Minor
Book hoarder
Dog Mom
Vintage AF
Low Key Emo Punk because I’m no average white girl!
History nerd (Love learning about the old wars and cultures)
Movie nerd (There’s an endless stack of DVDs in my house)
Fandoms:
The Mandolorian (or the ManDADolorian)
Star Trek
Star Wars
Hannibal
X-Files
King Falls Am
Welcome to Nightvale
Transformers (Obviously not the bad movies lol. Bumblebee is baby and must be protected always.)
Good Omens
Sherlock
Lord of the Rings
Marvel (There are so many shows and movies in this category we would be here all day if I tried to list them.)
Timeless (Not sure if the fandom is still alive after what the writers did to one of our ships lol)
DC (I’m a huge Batman geek and adore Wonderwoman, but I take the good with the bad when it comes to this fandom. Especially movie-wise anymore.)
And there’s probably more but my memory isn’t working currently.
Goals?. . . maybe:
Get my novel finished (This has literally been on my To-Do List for who knows how long.)
Meet more writers/new writers.
Improve my poetry (I suck at poetry so I bad I never let it see the light of day, so I need to work on it.)
Start my bullet journal.
Wips:
Okay by now you all know I have at least 1 Wip because I mentioned getting a freaking novel done, but just as a precaution as to what I mean by Wip or Wips. I get distracted quite easily, for some odd reason my brain absolutely loves to jump from one idea to another for no absolute reason. Like WTF dude we already have an idea we’re working on why do you keep bringing all these new ones to me like stray dogs. And like any good dog Mom or distracted writer, I want to keep all the ideas/stray dogs. So, when I say Wip I mean “Look at this cool idea I came up with” and I’ll make sure to specify which one is hogging most of my time.
Renegade: Dystopian, Thriller, Post-Apocalypse, and Science Fiction.
This is my baby. Most of my free time is dedicated to adjusting plotlines, character arc’s, fixing freaking plot holes, and other important stuff other than just plain writing. I’m hoping to finish this also monster of a story by 2020 and get it published. So big stuff!
“So tell me little wolf do you want to punish those who have wronged you?” An assassin known as the Crimson Ghost makes their way through the corrupt city-state of Ashton completing a job given to them by the Black Rose. What is a seemingly normal job though turns into something far more complicated when they stumble upon the fractions of an abandoned notebook from the past. A past the Republic is trying to desperately hide and bury no matter what. On the other side of the world in the Republic’s capital Eshar, plainly referred to as “The Prodigy” or “machine” by his superiors,  Eric Coalwood has built a life upon the ashes of his family, striving to meet the high expectations set before him by his mentor General Wolfheart. However, his life falls out of its normal day to day routine when the unexpected is asked of him. Command a task force made up of the Republic’s most wanted or his life is over. Eric doesn’t need reasons for why he must do what he has to, all he needs are orders and the Republic is more than happy to give them. Either way the clock is ticking for both the Crimson Ghost and the Republic’s prodigy and with time running out they both have two options. Either get over their different beliefs concerning the Republic or allow the world to once again succumb to war but this time nobody is going to survive it. “Legends are slippery things. For the glory that coats them hides the pain, suffering and death that created them.”
The Trouville Files: Dystopian, Thriller, Post-Apocalypse, and Science Fiction.
Not my biggest priority but definitely one of them considering the plot of this story. I mainly use this wip as a reference for Renegade because it’s actually the prequel to it. Also, it’s great to use as writing practice when I’m plagued with writer’s block for Renegade or frustrated with a plot hole. So this is my double-edged sword that does a lot of good.
“Death in these black days is neither kind nor quick.” The year is 2153, the world we know is nothing more than a wasteland strewn with the dead and a sky being choked by their ashes, not glorious and thriving but desolate and starving. The Red Death, a pandemic with a steady progression and a gruesome countdown to the demise of those infected. No one outruns it or survives it. “United we stand, divided we fall.” The Allied Nations, a totalitarian superpower, promised a united people but all they gave this world was more death and destruction. The Red Death isn’t the only thing slowly killing humanity anymore, we are in the form of the War of Broken Pacts. The spark of revolution is lit, but if it will remain so is a question asked by everyone. Does it stand a chance against the iron-fisted government holding the people in shackles? “Rebel with a cause.” Genius Medical Officer for The People’s Republic, Cyprus Ramiro works day and night in search of a cure for the Red Death exterminating hundreds, at least before this war kills him first. But he is also a man on the run and the rebellion can only shelter him for so long. “Duty over pain.” Cunning Spy and Soldier, Orion Ultor is ordered by the Allied Nations to infiltrate and gather information on the ever-growing People’s Republic. In bold letters is Search and Destroy; make a ruin of the rebellion and ensure the Allied Nations remains as it should -- unquestionably in power. No matter the cost unless he wants to suffer the consequences again. “If we fall we shall rise from the ashes like a phoenix.” They should have never met, battlefields don't make good friends. It wasn't fate, it wasn't destiny, only war throwing people together.  The Allied Nations is trying to stamp out something they fear, but can they before the Red Plague? Or will humanity find itself extinct.
Beyond his point is where I house my stray dogs/ideas
Hiraeth: Paranormal, Horror, Mystery, and Thriller.
Scooby-doo who?
Hiraeth means a homesickness for a home which you cannot return. That is how Arcane feels like she’ll never be home no matter how hard she tries to connect with her family. The closest she feels to being home is with her friends and in the worn leather seats of the van they all pitched in to buy. It all started out as a way to pass time and for all of them to escape their families because to be honest parents never understand, but it all turned sideways when a simple “ghost hunting trip” stirred something that was meant to remain buried. The truth never remains buried though, not really, somehow it will always creep back in ugly and twisted. Arcane has never felt “at home” but she’ll do whatever it takes to keep what she considers her family safe.
Sweet Dreams: Historical Fiction, Thriller, and Romance.
A literal dream turned into story plot and no I’m not kidding.
The Red String of Fate, The Lovers, and War. These are the three elements intertwined within the plot of Sweet Dreams but before anyone makes any assumptions this isn’t some chummy rom-com. There will be tears and heart strings may get yanked clean out because the angst is real. War and love never mix well, it leaves a sour taste in ones mouth and makes the mind question things it shouldn’t. Like is the woman in his dreams the same woman he sees in all his dreams? Constantly he somehow ends up spotting that same ruby red lipstick, honey golden eyes, and brunette hair laying in perfect curls. She’s everywhere except in his actual life. They say you and your soulmate share dreams, living proof of how intertwined souls are. She doesn’t believe in love or the idea of souls, not with the monsters roaming around the countryside and battlefield carrying assault rifles. Society tells her where her place is, but she disagrees and rather create her own destiny.
The Prophet: Paranormal, Thriller, Post-Apocalypse, and Science Fiction.
A short story I can’t seem to let go or it doesn’t want to let me go, but either way, this story has the makings for something great. It also at times seems strikingly similar to Good Omens, so don’t be surprised.
There’s no anti-christ in this story, he already has a book about himself so let’s not make another one besides there are other stories that need to be told. Such as, have you ever heard of modern day prophets and I’m not talking about those people with cardboard signs saying “the end is near!” or giant churches with people preaching about the end times. No, I’m talking about a kid with messy hair and dark circles under their eyes because sleep is no longer a choice due to migraines that plague them every night. Migraines that bring weird cryptic messages that make one question their own sanity. And what happens when strange people start asking about said migraines and messages?
Virago: Fantasy, Thriller, Historical Fiction, and Romance.
I’m not a huge fantasy reader, for some reason I can’t stay invested in them, but here I am with a fantasy story in my wips. It has mages, knights, assasination plots, and one super badass general who takes zero shit from her king. That’s right women empowerment, my dudes! I don’t really have much of a synopsis inline or a plot because this is only of those wips I let rattle around in my brain from time to time. But I will say it does give me that LOTR vibe but also Game of Thrones.
Don’t be surprised if you see my stray doggos from time to time because I will admit I love to play around with storyboards. Even if I don’t have a fully planned out plot put together for it.
And that concludes this what was supposed to be short Writeblr Intro. I hope I have peaked some of your guys’ interests because the community definitely got a hold of minee. Feel free to send me a message about anything I mentioned (even if it’s just fandom shit I don’t care) and don’t be shy. I’m a huge introvert but somehow love talking, so don’t worry it won’t be awkward and odds are I’m equally nervous about conversation lol. Also, feel free to add me to any taglist and reblog/like if you’re active and would like more Writeblr mutuals!
Happy Writing,
Writings-from-the-Hart
