I drew. a lot for this. Also heads up for non RE mutuals this is going to be. confusing for you. I'm going to do my best to annotate and provide context but you are in for a wild ride.
Anyway long ass lore post for how Lisa and Robbie go from fighting to working together in this AU.
In the RE8 cannon all of the Dimitrescu daughters are made at the same time but for the sake of ✨the situations✨ I am going to change that. Lisa lived the longest as a human before being assimilated into the mold with a Cadou (infecting extension of the Megamycite). Technically her 'sisters' are older than her, as they were assimilated a while ago. Lisa has been a member of house Dimitrescu for about 2 years now. This puts her in this. Weird middle child zone. She wants to make her 'family' proud but she's also aware that what makes them proud isn't really the most achievable thing in the world (expecially with Bela to contend with. Older sibling overachiever to the maximum). She's got a certain degree of distance from them and sometimes wonders if she wasn't better off before all of this. Her memories are fuzzy but still there for the most part. She cant remember faces or names but she remembers feelings and situations. She doesen't remember families being like this (she wants OUT).
Chasing prey brought in is fairly standard for her. It's some of the only entertainment she gets. So when she catches Robbie exploring around the castle she has no idea that he's special in any way. He's just some new guy she gets to mess with before eating and DAMN he's FUN. If she didn't know any better she could almost think that he has experience being chased around (he does. he very much so does. all of RE7's worth). What she ALSO doesn't know is that Mother Miranda (big bad. Different from Lady Dimitrescu, who she refers to as 'mother') is planning on using Gabe (who is replacing baby Rose in this) to try and resurrect her dead kid with a 'perfect vessel' and this requires. uh. disassembly (in the base RE8 gameplay the reason Ethan goes to each house is because uhhhhhhhh his infant daughter has been dismembered and stored in jars and he needs to collect them so he can put her back together.... yeah). Robbie intervenes before this can get going and is instead going house to house because if he wants to get out of this stupid fuckass villiage he needs to collect the key components to unlock the gate keeping him in here (i need him to have a reason. to kill everyone. its important to me ok).
Tumblr media
When Lisa finds out this random, but fun guy, she's been chasing who she thought was JUST SOME NORMAL GUY killed one of her sisters she mentally goes 'Oh. OH. THERES A CHANCE FOR ME TO GET OUT OF HERE'. That in conjunction with discovering Mother Miranda is planning on FULLY DISMEMBERING A CHILD she uh. Makes some decisions.
What you have to understand about her plans of matricide is that neither Lady Dimitrescu or her sisters can actually really fully die. Sure, their bodies are gone, but their consciousness is stored in the hive mind and they can reform later after gathering their strength. If she has to put her kinda shitty found family in time out for the sake of getting herself out of here + keeping her newly revived conscience clean she's absolutely going to do it.
Tumblr media
(fuckin. backgrounds. dialogue. fuck. why can things not just take place inside of the void. DUKE MY BELOVED WE LOVE AND RESPECT DUKE IN THIS HOUSE HES A REAL ONE fuck now I got it in my head that he keeps trying to play matchmaker for them and i need to. go draw that because its too funny not to.)
Lisas plan involves this lab I had her mention in the comic above. It's where Robbie needs to go to synthesize more poison for the dagger of deaths flowers, and SUPPOSEDLY where a medicine that might allow her to go outside again might be (enemies of Lisas type become SIGNIFICANTLY weaker in the cold. She could try to bundle up but its still really not a good idea). She would love to go there herself, but it's in an area of the castle thats exposed to the cold of the outdoors.
The Two of them make a fairly decent team and Lisa finds herself having a LOT more fun hunting with someone else than she does on her own. They balance each other out pretty well; Robbie works primarily with guns so he can watch Lisas back while she's up close wrecking any grunts they run into. It's also pretty helpful having someone who can turn into a swarm of flies for puzzle solving purposes.
After all this Robbies trust for her increases SIGNIFICANTLY. He's still not really sure about her, but she's moved out of the 'active threat' classification into the 'kinda helpful' zone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lisa's plan has three ways it could go:
They all fail miserably and get sent to mental and physical time out in the megamycite.
They win and get to go free but either the medicine isn't there or it doesen't work. In which case she's just planning on getting as many coats as possible and Try-or-Die-ing it.
The medicine is there and she actually gets to roam free
Luckily for her, the medicine IS there, it DOES work, and Robbies sense of honor / noticing her usefulness (its hard to wage a one man war on an entire community of mutants ok you cant blame him for appreciating having some ACTUAL HELP for once) all align for the best possible scenario.
Tumblr media
The cold does still affect her; her healing isn't as quick as it usually is and her increased strength / speed is a bit reduced, but she can go!! outside!!
She decided to stick with Robbie in getting out of the village as a whole. She doesen't really know what the world outside is like but anything has to be better than here (plus if she stays here she's probably getting shoved into the Megamycite by Mother Miranda PERMENANTLY and that just. wont do).
Also yes Lisa being with Robbie for the rest of his adventures means that she is there for Heisenbergs 'proposal'. She uh. Does not like that much.
Tumblr media
this all made. more sense in my head I hope it at least makes a little sense out loud.

I had the greatest request idea ever
Okay so here me out
Octavinelle (all three together) end up stuck in their s/o's world. They can still do magic, but they just stick with them and do what they do.
Now, s/o's school has no dorms... so the trio are technically homeless. Not to worry, s/o will house them! ...They'll just have to hide the two super tall and one super greedy boys the brought home. Good thing Azul has an invisibility spell!
They'd definitely follow s/o around at school and mess with smh...
I'm rambling, sorry, but yeah that's my request creative liberties have fun you can ignore this if you want.

The OctoTrio In Yuu's Apocolypse!World
I am going extra; Yuu is from an apocalypse and lives in a fallout/nuclear bunker colony. Let's give these mfers a real fright in time for Halloween. Also, there are unnamed NPCs Yuu interacts with aside from one random Disney character I added, hehehe. If you want me to redo those and see the trio actually react a bit more lightheartedly to apocalypse life, lemme know. I'm kinda not proud of this at all.
Per usual. Yuu is Gn and kinda traumatized to add flavor. POV switching from 2nd (you/your) to 3rd (Yuu/They). Yuu and the Trio are kind of frenemies. Possible typos
No… No. No no no no no no no nO NO NO NO NO. You're back here again. That stupid fucking tanuki—! You glare at the memory. A simple lab gone wrong.
****
What was supposed to be a heartwarming personal project had turned quickly into a nightmare. Grim had not only knocked over all the electronics you were using, but he also ended up spilling every single ingredient and chemical you had near you into one toxic stew. To make matters worse, it appeared that he had gotten into some sort of trouble, judging by how all three Octotrio members were assailing him.
At least it couldn’t get any worse…. It got worse.
The electronics and the chemicals reacted exactly opposite to what you wanted. Instead of bringing something to you, you were now being sucked in. To add insult to injury, the bastard that caused this didn’t even get sucked. Instead, the three other bastards that you wish would have been literally anyone else were falling with you…
The feeling of atoms splitting and reassembling yourself wasn’t as nauseous as last time. You were sure by the sound of the trio that they would disagree… It was going to be one rough landing…
****
Just what happened here… Why was the air so harsh to breathe in? Azul felt as though something was assaulting and scratching at his throat with each breath in. He let out a few coughs, not noticing how Yuu cringed at the sound. Jade’s eyes felt as though they were burning, another wave of nausea washed over him, but it was a different feeling from before. This nausea wasn’t because of movement. He felt sick like something was wrong… Perhaps it was a mix of fear and stress? He hoped so.
“Yuu. Where are we?” Azul’s voice took on a very forced calm as he clenched his hands into fists, trying not to shake as he looked up at the dark smog-filled sky. Jade and Azul stared at Yuu as they closed their eyes pensively. “This place… Is what remains of my home. That is all you need to know.” Yuu’s voice shook slightly. They turned around and snagged the trios' hats on the ground, muttering something about scent trails.
Jade looks around, trying to figure out just what kind of situation he’s in. His and his family's safety was the most important thing right now. The mer swallowed a lump in his dry throat, looking out at a wasteland. Green grassy fields were charred black. Distant mountains looked altered and unnatural, as if they’d been destroyed. Ruins of old ghost towns ransacked RV homes, and leveled cities can be seen from the weird hill they were on, acting as the only landmark.
Fear started to build within Jade with the unfamiliarity and eeriness of it all. It felt too calm, too quiet. Something was wrong here… Floyd glanced over at his brother as if sensing his discomfort. “According to my scanner, lead, and radiation levels here are low. It's safe to travel without masks or suits… Perfect.” Yuu smiled. Is this why shrimpy always had that weird mask on? Floyd thought as he eyed the gas mask in their arm.
Soon, Floyd spoke up.
“Ne ne, shrimpy? So like, when can we get out of here?”
“Yes, I have a similar question. How are we going to get home?”
“I have a good guess. I'll go to the same place I did last time when I fell into your world?” Azul listed a brow. “Which is…?” Yuu shoved the trio's hats into the bulky backpack they wore. “Going to the happiest place on earth, as they call it,” Yuu spoke, completely serious. “And if it doesn’t work… I'll help you adjust to your new magicless life here.”
“Ehh! I don't want to stay here! This place is a dump!” “I know, Floyd.” “There’s nothing to do!” “I know, Floyd.”
Jade suddenly butted in from where he stood. “Actually, that… project, for lack of a better term, was the reason we’re here, yes?” “That’s right, why would you want to come back to… This…” Azul interjected,
“You guys ruining it is what brought us here. I wasn't trying to go back; I was trying to bring…” Yuu stopped themselves, “Ugh, never mind. Look, I have one thing to do today before we leave… hopefully.” “You can't be serious!” Azul snapped.
Yuu practically snarled, “Um, I AM serious. So suck it up before I leave you out here to die. You were all responsible for getting us into this mess. You have no right to complain!” Yuu glared at them before walking over to what looked to be a small campsite. Among it was a small bunker that was heavily locked up. Yuu went behind it for a moment before emerging again.
They wheeled out a sleek motorcycle built for speed. A small sidecar was attached to it. The inside looked personalized with stickers and marker scribbles. There was even a tiny helmet fit for a child. Stickers covered the helm as well. Yuu snagged the helmet and shoved it into a side compartment of their bike. “Get in, you three.” The survivor spoke while adjusting their mask onto their face. “We’re going to the bunker town.”
****
Azul sat in the sidecar, hugging his knees as the twins pressed themselves flat against you. Floyd was standing while holding onto Jade, looking out into the horizon as you sped along. The ride acted as an excellent distraction for Floyd, making him forget about the dangers this world poses. He would barely even notice the gunfire happening in the distance as you sped up past it, approaching a town in the distance.
Despite this, everything felt… wrong. The air hurt his lungs. The sky is bleak; the world is silent. Occasionally they drove by a pile of something awful that was rotting. “Those things were once human,” Yuu would say. He couldn’t help but wonder how. The shrimpy’s behavior in NRC made sense to him now. How they always wore a mask, stocked up on food, and even set traps around their home. Floyd grumbles in the memory of hanging from the ceiling from when he first entered Ramshackle.
As the adrenaline from the joyride wore off, a strange sense of dread hung in the air as they approached the town, the ocean next to it looked… gross.
****
Soon they pulled up to what appeared to be a community of bunkers. The sign to the town was run down and worn. Despite the appearance of rusty bunkers, each one had their own colors and personality. Many shops and street markets were everywhere as traders sold their goods. Children played on the grass with their decorated gas masks. Dogs, birds, and cats wandered the area. For such a dead place, the community was alive. The ocean washed up mountains upon mountains of plastic and crates that people sifted through. No wonder Yuu was so worried about microplastics….
Yuu’s speed slowed as they came to a halt amongst the people walking about. A few turned their head at the sigh of Yuu, the ones that were unmasked looked as though they saw a ghost. Yuu propped their bike up against the small bunker of another shopkeeper. Her window was propped open as the prices of various cuts of meat were advertised from within. Azul slid out of the sidecar as the other jumped off, drawing the attention of the old butcher from within.
“Yuu? Is that you? Geez, kid, we thought you died out there!” “I don’t die easy… Still, it's good to see you… And it seems business is good as well” The old woman’s eyes crinkle as she used her knife to gesture behind you. “And they are?” Yuu pauses for a moment, “Partners.”
“Ne ne~ Little Shrimpy is so serious today, yeesh. So now, all of a sudden, you can talk?” The people around the bunker stared in shock, a few muttering. Floyd could hear the whispers of ‘did they seriously say that to them?!’ ‘Yuu is gonna kill him' and so on. So much annoying noise in his eyes.
“What? Why’re staring at me for?!” One customer looked between the masked eel, then the hooded human, once, then twice. Yuu waved their hand down a few times, and the crowd hesitantly obeyed, looking away and continuing about their day. “My, you’re well known around here…” Jade jokes, eliciting an eye roll from Yuu, who takes off their customized mask. The human turns to the woman in the bunker.
“I’m going to leave my bike here, miss… I have matters to attend to…” The young human scowled before sighing. “Hmm, aren’t you afraid someone would take it?” Jade asks quizzically. “No one would have the balls. I’m well known around here…” Yuu started to walk off just for Azul to sputter. “Wh-Wha- Where are you going?!” “To do something.”
“You can’t just leave us alone! We’re not from here!”
“Now you know how I felt.”
“Yuu!”
****
The trio follows Yuu into a large and seemingly run-down building. The rusty door on the outside had “MEDBAY” sprayed onto it. Opening the heavy door, Azul was pleased to see that the inside of the building was much cleaner than the outside suggested.
It looked just like a genuine medical building, all modernized with the best equipment. It was air-conditioned and freshly cleaned. Kids' drawings and posters decorated the walls. A few run-down couches and chairs made up humble waiting areas in front of the main ‘desk’ of the room, which consisted of a long table. Yuu went up to it and started talking to the person going through piles of paperwork. The person froze and stuttered at the sight of Yuu.
Azul began to zone out, uninterested in their interaction. He allowed his eyes to wander. The twins noticed and followed Azul. There was a small board listing all of the people that donated to the construction of the medical bay. Azul strutted over to it for a second, noting just how much Yuu appeared on there. Thank you for donating an x-ray machine. We thank Yuu for their most recent adventure, bringing back 15 medical kits and a brand new microscope. Azuls eyes scanned quickly, Yuu brought over medical equipment of all kinds.
Even the kid’s drawing had drawings of Yuu as well. “Ehe seems like Shrimpy is pretty popular around here~ Wonder why. All the kids love them, though!” Jade chuckles, “These drawings are unique, to say the least.” He snickers at a few that depict Yuu in a very unflattering way. Azul also smirks but starts to think, is this why they came back here?
****
Yuu trailblazed down the hallway of the building like a damned bat out of hell. Azul sputtered to catch up with them as Floyd ran right behind Yuu, enjoying this fun ‘game’ they’re playing. Their frame suddenly stops in front of a well-decorated and glittery door covered in cute drawings of candy, among other things. Yuu’s hand hesitantly reached for the doorknob.
“Caught you, Shrimpy!” Floyd exclaims, holding onto the survivor. They smacked into the door, and Yuu pushed off Floyd. “What the actual fuck is wrong with you!” They hissed. “Yeesh, calm down, Shrimpy! Your such a downer~” Azul watched nervously between the pair as sparks flew. Jade was getting ready to intervene.
“Yuu? Is that you? Are you here?” A small voice sounded from within the room. The anger from Yuu’s stance disappeared, and a hopeful glint returned to their eyes. The door opened to reveal a young girl.
She was absolutely tiny, smaller than most children. Her large amber lies looked up at Yuu with admiration and shock. Her black hair was slicked back into a ponytail held up by a ribbon decorated with little candy charms along her hair. She wore a green hoodie embroidered with small candies along with old rips. A tiny skirt peaked out from underneath, practically engulfed by her hoodie. She stepped back and opened the door more as she stood there, holding onto her green leggings before sticking them in her hoodie.
The girl and Yuu stared at each other for a moment. “Vanellope, I—“ “You idiot!” The girl yelled and charged into Yuu. Azul watched as the girl sobbed into Yuu's legs before Yuu scooped them up into a hug. “Where were you? I was so worried. I-I was— was— afraid something happened!” She choked between sobs, “To you! Everyone said you were gone!” For the first time the trio had seen, Yuu shed a tear.
“I’m sorry… I didn’t mean to…” “You better explain everything!” Vanellope pushed away from Yuu and pouted before glancing over at the trio behind her. “Who are they?” Yuu paused briefly and looked back at Jade, Floyd, and Azul. “… Friends…”
“Oh? Are they your best friends?” Vanellope asked, smirking. “Well, are we?” Jade asked with a smug smirk that Floyd and Azul also shared. “Yes. We are.” The girl in Yuu’s arms starts laughing. “You're so full of it! Haha! It's so obvious!” Yuu sighs as they set Vanellope down and enter her room.
****
The room was small, but homey. There was a small desk with some coloring crayons and a few toy cars on the desk and floor. A few candy streamers hung from the wall, and a few posters hung up on the wall. Trinkets, toys, plushies, and books were sprawled about. Everything was candy themed in the child’s room.
In the corner near the window, however, was a hospital bed, a small table with paperwork piled on it. Floyd noticed how stiff Yuu became as they stared at the corner and looked over at Jade. Usually, Floyd could tell how his brother felt, but his expression was unreadable even to him.
“Soooo….” Vanellope trails off, pulling some small stools and chairs to her bed that she sits on, candy corn plush in her lap. She beamed excitedly with her childish innocence. “Tell me everything!”
Yuu chucked and set their bag down, sifting through it. Azul peaked over to notice them pulling out trinkets of all sorts. Among them were a few shells he recognized from the Coral Sea, along with a plush they got from the museum souvenir shop. A few more trinkets popped out, and Azul realized that Yuu had been collecting things their entire time while in NRC.
****
“And then that's when Riddle yelled ‘off with your head!’ Super loudly, and you won't believe what happens next!” Jade nearly snorted at the exaggeration as he listened to Yuu’s very watered-down, kiddie-friendly story of some of their times in college. It did work; Vanellope was on the edge of her seat with anticipation. Azul had never seen Yuu this expressive or soft for anyone. It was a very new side to them that he would be sure to make a note of.
Floyd watched on at the kids babbling, her legs swinging as she gripped the new eel plush in her lap. He smirked and joined in on the storytelling, making sounds with his mouth to replicate what happened and even acting some parts out, much to Vanellope's delight. Jade let a quiet chuckle and glanced over at Azul, who was watching the domestic scene unfold. A frown crossed his face.
“Oya? What’s wrong, Azul? Homesick?” Azul looked over at Jade for a moment before leaning in and whispering. “Oh shush, you are too but besides that. Aren’t we in a hospital?” Jade nods for a moment before his eyes widen a bit in realization. “You think this girl, Vanel—“
“Oh, oh! What about this one? Where did you get this one from?” Vanellope asks, holding up the plush eel Yuu pulled out from earlier. Yuu chuckled, “Oh, that comes from the Coral Sea, a dangerous place deep underground!” “Oh, oh, tell me more!” “Actually, I was thinking Azul should, you see, he grew up living in the deep sea!”
Yuu nudged Azul cheekily, “Right, Azul? I’m sure you can tell her some amazing stories…” Azul narrowed his eyes for a moment before clearing his throat. “Of course, let me think…” Floyd suddenly pulled Vanellope onto his shoulders. “Oh, I know one! Me and my brother here one time fought a huge sturgeon for his scales! C’mon, Jade, you remember!” Jade hummed before nodding his head. “Yes, yes, I remember it going a little like this….”
****
As stories dragged on, the group found themselves playing with the girl as well. Floyd manhandled and let the little menace crawl and climb all over him like a jungle gym and showing off his height by holding her to the ceiling. Azul even found himself playing dolls with the girl, and Jade would often help her build strange racetracks for her toy cars. As time went on, the girl became more mellow with drowsiness.
Yuu’s happy expression dropped to a more somber one. “Well, that was all that happened when I was gone; how have you been holding up since? I’m sorry I wasn’t here to provide for you…” Vanellope’s happy grin dropped as she sat herself on her bed, kicking her feet again. Yuu’s expression dropped further. “How is your condition, gumdrop?”
Vanellope's energetic self from minutes earlier was gone, and her eyes watered. “They say that I’m not going to make it, Yuu. My condition is worsening every day… I heard a nurse say…” Her voice trailed off as she started to sob, “That I’m dying very soon."
Vanelllope shook and wiped away her tears, trying her absolute best to be a big girl. Yuu held back their grief and held onto their little sister, squeezing her tight. Silent sobs echoed throughout the room. Azul looked away awkwardly, feeling as if he was intruding on something. Floyd’s cheery attitude dropped as well, and even Jade was sympathetic.
****
“I need to find her; I need to go back!” Jade pressed his back against the wall outside the headmaster's room as he eavesdropped. “What do you mean that I can't go back?! I need to go back! I have someone waiting for me! I need to take care of her!”
Jade smirked as the drama unfolded from behind the door. “Please, Crowley! It’s been a month! Surely you found something! I love her!” How poor and unfortunate and utterly juicy. He strutted off, ready to inform Azul about a possible contract.
****
“Fuck you, Azul.”
“Pardon?”
“I said: Fuck. You. Asshole.”
Azul can feel Yuu glaring at him through their mask. Yuu snagged the contract out of his hand and ripped it. “What the fuck s wrong with you, Ashengrotto?!” Azul felt a cold sweat coming on. “You send one of your weird lackeys to spy on me and are trying to get me some ‘other girl’ ?!”
Azul held up his hands. “You’ve got it all wrong,” Azul speaks calmly, “We simply heard that you were lonely, and believe me when I say that I can help you find love or a new girlfriend if you—“ “Girlfriend? GIRLFRIEND?!”
It was a good thing Floyd was there to drag Yuu away from lunging at Azul. A paralysis spell had to be cast on them, and even then, they could still fight against it due to the amount of rage coursing through their body. Floyd laughed at their struggle before throwing them out of the dorm.
Ever since then, Yuu has hated the trio. When it came time to try and stop Azul’s contracts, by Crowley's demand, it became much more awkward. Yuu was practically ready to rip Azul apart the minute he opened his mouth.
That’s not even mentioning the fights they got into with Floyd that ended up messing up the cafeteria. The memory swirled in Azul's head, and he felt a newfound disgust at his actions.
****
“… I’m breaking you out of here, gumdrop.” Yuu states. The girl looks up with wide eyes. “Grab your stuff and shove it in my bag. We’re going.” The girl smiled and ran to grab all of her things, shoving cars, toys, and plushies of all kinds into Yuu's bag. Whatever they couldn’t fit, Jade happily held onto. Floyd held onto the girl as the Yuu, Jade, and Azul crowded around him and speed-walked about of vicinity before any nurses could stop them.
****
Vanelope happily sat in front of Yuu as they sped alongside the polluted beach until they were far away from town. Only then did Yuu stop, and everyone got off once more. “There. We’re away from everyone and close to getting these guys home.” Yuu put their hands on their hips and nodded.
Vanellope took off her petite and decorated helmet and looked out at the sea. “‘Zul, Floyd, didn’t you say the ocean where you’re from is clear? Not all full of plastic and stuff?” The child walked along the shore, kicking at trash that washed up. Azul looked out, disgusted with everything he saw in what would be his home. Now he understood why Yuu wanted to check any lead or plastic levels in all their food before eating. “Yes, definitely better than this.”
“Lucky. I always wondered what the ocean would be like. If you try and swim in here, you’ll get sick or poked with something sharp.” The kid poked at the sand, drawing shapes along it. “I always wanted to go out and explore and go super fast on a bike or car, but I got sick… So I had to stay inside…” Yuu frowned as they sat near their bike, allowing their sister to talk to the others.
“They said that there’s some weird stuff with my body, so I can't go outside much; I always hated it! I wanted to explore just like Yuu does and go collect all sorts of things from everywhere! …” Vanellope's voice became hushed so that Yuu couldn’t hear. “Sometimes I wonder why they stick around instead of driving off and find a better place than here…”
Floyd looked down and squatted down. “Well, your outta that place now. Why can't you go explore?” Vanellope looked up at the mage. “I am very sick, so it can make it worse.” “The doc said your already dyin’, so what gives? May as well go out and explore.”
Jade nods. “That is true. After all, wouldn’t you like to see a real sea before you die?” Vanellope beams, “Yes, yes! There's so much stuff I want to do! I want to go fast, and I want to explore!” The girl rambles on and on and on for a good while, lifting up the mood once again.
“Vanellope.” Yuu interrupts. “I have to take these assholes home.” “Hey, how come you can curse but I can’t” “You’re not old enough to, now listen. I’m gonna take these guys back home, but what sort of adventure would you like to do?”
The child stood up. “Wait, me? Really? I mean, what about you? Don’t you have better stuff to do?” “I always wanted to make you happy, and if it were up to me, I would have taken you with me and driven off years ago, far away from here. The only thing I have regretted was waiting.” Yuu pats the girl's head. “So what’ll it be? You wanna explore the wasteland? Or go see the sea?”

Miraculous Movie Character Headcanon
So I know I have zero to go on, and odds are this is wrong, but I have at LEAST until 2026 before it matters, so...
Chloé Bourgeois headcanon: This Chloé actually despises both of her parents. Her upbringing is largely the same as show Chloé, but she's made the connection that no, neither of them really love her as a daughter. She's a prize/trophy at best and an annoyance at worst. She openly resents them, but as with most kids she's powerless to do much about this fact, and so it comes out as bullying outbursts.
Some supports for this:
She neve mentions her parents, or calls for daddy on anything. The closest we get is a 'Do you know who I am?' which is a very general notion of self-importance, not the same level of parental-desperation.
Sabrina's far more independent around her. This is not a minion/master relationship like S4/5 tried to pedal. While it's still clearly more take than give on Chloé's part, it doesn't feel like Sabrina *has* to be there. She knows what Chloé is like, and that she can leave. She chooses not to. There needs to be more there under the hood for this to be the case.
The times Sabrina does look scared is when Chloé is raging out. This distinction makes me think she's mad *because* Chloé is raging and those outbursts scare her, perhaps as something abnormal. No Chloé's not a saint, she's a snob, but the intensity of these explosions is something abnormal.
What does this mean?
I dunno! It could lead to some very different interactions, and is mostly fun for laying around with.
Her path to change would be very different for one thing. Since a lack of self worth and feeling a loss of control in her life(parental inflicted) is the root. Heroing and learning to build her self worth by doing good things rather than by tearing those around her down seems like a solid path. This would be an interesting reflection of Marinette's own Journey in the first movie. Marinette believed she was nothing, and beat herself up for it. Chloé believes she's nothing, and beats everyone else up for it.
Zoé could be entirely different if she is brought in. Chloé might absolutely love the idea of a family member who is *not* her parents to be family with. If sisterly-conflict is needed you could have Zoé's absolute desire to be one big happy family clashing with Chloé's desire to have nothing to do with her parents.
Just some overall ideas that came to me and might be fun to explore in fanfic.

Actually, something I've been thinking about since I read the timeline convos for the first time is the way Amane treats Yuno and Fuuta.
It stuck out to me since Amane is noticeably hostile towards Shidou and Mahiru for violating cult doctrine (which is even more interesting now considering Amane thinks Mahiru would be a good family member.)
Yet Yuno and Fuuta aren't treated with the same outright hostility. Even though Yuno is helping out Mahiru and Shidou, her interaction with Amane is overall amicable, even accounting for Amane's hostility at the start. (Translation Source)
23/06/27 (Amane’s Birthday)
Amane: What is it…… Kashiki Yuno. Don’t sit so close to me. Go away. Yuno: Sorry for barging in when you’re getting into your worldview thing. But Mahiru-san’s finally managed to get to sleep. Humour me with some small talk while I take a break. By the way, Amane. Have you ever wished you were never born? I’ve thankfully lived a pretty fun life so far, so haven’t really. But you seem to be struggling with something. So I kinda wondered if you thought like that. Amane: ……I don’t think that. Being born into this world is the first miracle any person experiences, and is something to celebrate. Even if after birth I was put through trial after trial, the value of that will never disappear. Yuno: Hmm. Ok. ……happy birthday, then. It’s good that you were brought into the world, I guess.
Yuno even Mentions helping out Mahiru, and yet Amane answers her question honestly and politely.
And Fuuta is getting treated by Shidou at this very moment, yet Amane doesn't act hostile, and she views Fuuta as "capable of being reborn."
23/04/19 (Fuuta’s Birthday)
Fuuta: ……! Oi, is it just you. Don’t scare me like that. You shouldn’t just stand there saying nothing. Hah, what? Did you just come to laugh at me for being weak? Dumb brat. Amane: No. I just came to observe. To see what people are thinking. To see who is being corrupted. What about you, Kajiyama Futa? Fuuta: I understand even less of what you’re saying than I did before. Brat, you’re on the side who weren’t forgiven too, right? ……so why can you still stand. Don’t you can hear it too? The voices blaming us. ……I don’t have the energy to do anything like this. Amane: It goes without saying. Because there’s something far more important than the voices of people we can’t even see. People are able to get back up again. As long as there’s something to guide them. Kajiyama Fuuta, by coincidence today happens to be your birthday, correct? Don’t you think it’s a good opportunity to be reborn? If, right now, you could shake off those around you trying to drag you down to depravity, and could change––
Yuno actually notes in her T1 Interrogation that "Amane looks down on Fuuta"
T1 Q26:
Q: Did something interesting happen lately in MILGRAM? A: It was discovered that Mahiru's quite out of sorts. Amane looks down on Fuuta.
But...what did Amane say love was again?
T2 Q9:
Q: What does love mean to you A: To spread mercy with no limits
Which completely recontextualizes all of this, it's possible that Amane is acting this way Because this is how she's showing her love, in a sense.
Amane is showing them mercy, patience, all the things she wasn't given. She's answers them politely, she believes Fuuta can "get better" she doesn't act hostile because Amane, to some extent, cares about them.
And there is precedence for Amane liking Yuno.
T1 Q10:
Q: Is there any prisoner you're close with? A: If I were to say, I guess it would be Yuno and Mahiru.
Again this begs the question of why she acts hostile towards Mahiru but considering I'm pretty sure Mahiru and Shidou are paralleled with Amane's parents and she didn't like both of them much it's possible that this association is what causes her to act more hostile. She's reminded too much of people who hurt her and thus acts more hostile.

George Michael Bluth
A Quick Look at one of my favorite characters
Arrested development is basically like a series of unfortunate events if it were made into an adult comedy.
So the sadder parts are all left as jokes or punchlines.
When really, if it were a drama, the characters would appear completely different.
Tumblr media
George Michael is a key example of this, he’s held to almost perfection standards by his dad, who he also would spend all his time with until he gets a girlfriend. Like his dad makes him go on atkins for literally no reason and he clearly hates it but is too scared to say anything.
Or when he gets an A- on a test (still an A though) and when he comes home and shows his dad and says “I got an A!” And his dad keeps cutting him off and saying “minus” before telling him to get back to his room and study. Later his dad walks in on him studying and literally beating himself up over not getting a problem, calling himself stupid over and over again.
Of course, this is the episode where Michael (his dad) and Lindsey (Michael’s twin) are arguing over parenting. She says he’s too strict and is going to give George Michael a nervous breakdown. Naturally, after walking in on George Michael beating himself up, he tells him to stop and go do something fun. George Michael is very reluctant because he never really does that. He ends up going right to work, because he doesn’t have anything else to do.
Naturally, during this short period of parental freedom, George Michaels uncle Buster (the one who still lives with his mother and is basically a toddler) comes to see him at work to ask him for drugs. Michael has always taught George Michael that “family first” is the most important rule, so of course he keeps it a secret at busters request and tries to get drugs for him. This leads to him going to his uncle Gob, leaving a note asking for drugs, leading to a whole mix up where Michael thinks that he gave George Michael too much freedom and has now caused his son to develop a drug habit.
Rising action, rising action, climax where everything comes to a head with fake cops and real cops and fake drugs and real drugs and weird misunderstandings until everything is laid out, all is forgiven, and things go back to normal
However, since this show is a comedy show, we don’t focus on the fact that George Michael never actually was able to utilize the freedom his dad had given him, instead opting to use his newly free time to take on a really big favor from his family member instead of doing something for himself
His gimmick is that he’s awkward, and comparatively uptight to Maeby’s street smarts and irresponsibility. It creates a fun dynamic for comedy stories, but when you watch it as many times as I have you start to see some of the more serious character traits that are glossed over
This back and forth can only continue if there is no real character development in each of the ensemble members, hence the end of an episode essentially hitting reset on shenanigans for everyone. George Michael is a great character for that because even during the one chance he had to be free or do something for himself, he yet again took on a task that someone in his family asked him to do and assumed he could do it. So when those opportunities of development present themselves, realistically he wouldn’t take them. And if he did, his character development would have to be so minute that it’s barely noticeable.
If this show were a drama, I think there would be considerable emphasis placed on the parallels of George Sr’s relationship with Michael and Michael’s relationship with George Michael. Animosity about the relationship between Michael and George Michael is only brought to Michael’s attention in season four when he is told that is the father-son relationship Ron Howard wanted to make a movie about.

Like a Virgin: Frank Castle x Reader
Tumblr media
Summary: You are the only female member of team Cerberus which puts a lot of pressure on you to do the best you can. With your friends Billy and Frank as the leaders of each task force, you don’t get as much shit as you would’ve thought, but it’s fun to stir the pot. As you try and make your time in Afghanistan a little less devastating, you notice something between you and Frank you hadn’t considered before.
A/N: Frank is not married in this story. Not my gif
Warnings: unprotected sex, male/female violence (non-domestic), kind of public sex??
Word Count: 3447
As the only female member of operation Cerberus, the weight on your shoulders is almost palpable. Some days it was torture, being surrounded only by men. Each one dripping with testosterone and an urge to see their wives again, or anything that could satisfy their needs. Though you considered your unit family, you were always on your guard. Watching your back for the moment one of them couldn’t handle it anymore. But deep down you knew nothing would happen to you while Billy and Frank were around. Those men looked up to them, and they were your best friends.
Of course that came with its own challenges. Members of your unit claimed that you were treated better because of your connection with the two squad leaders, but you knew that was far from the truth. Ever since boot camp, those two were beating your ass harder than anyone. They knew what you’d have to go through and they didn’t hold back on getting you prepared. And it paid off, landing you in special forces along their side.
Now you love taking orders from them. Going into a secret mission feeling unstoppable as long as they're by your side. It wasn’t only the missions you enjoyed. It was the time between the mission. The endless hours between the killing were filled with some of the best laughs of your life. Sometimes you’d watch Frank play his guitar while Billy thought of his next move against you in chess, but the thing you loved the most was reading. You’d taken the same book with you on all of your tours and you’d read it more than you’d like to admit.
Frank used to make fun of you for that. He’d take the book out of your hands and try his hardest to make you lose the page, but you never did. He’d stare down as you nonchalantly turned to the correct page and continue reading without a second thought.
“That can’t be entertaining for you.” He’d chuckle.
“It’s actually the most entertaining thing I’ve done since I stepped foot in these desserts. Best way to get me outta here.” You’d reply, but it was never a joke to you.
The book you read was set in a world you would much rather be in. You’d read many other novels but the one you brought with you overseas was your favorite. It was your dream, old Hollywood, glamorous dresses and lavish parties. If you could do it all over again, if you could choose a life other than the one you got, it would be in that book. It took a while for Frank to understand that, but when he did he never forgot it. He was a good friend that way. He paid attention to you when you spoke and remembered the important things. Billy wasn’t like that.
Billy was a real hard ass. He pushed you to your limits and then encouraged you to go a little further. He never went easy on you and part of you genuinely appreciated that, but sometimes he really got on your nerves. Like when the two of you would play chess and he would leave you with nothing but your king just to show you how much better he was at the game. He’s kicked you down just to prove that he could. You respected Billy but he made it hard to love him. When you all arrived in Kandahar he was willing to be as dirty as he needed. Frank followed close behind and you did what your friends asked of you. Without them, by your side, you don’t how long you’d be able to make it with Agent Orange and the Colonel.
Today was no different than all the rest. You did your reps while Frank and Billy bickered over a board of scrabble.
“That’s not a word.” Frank shouted.
“Yes, it is,” Billy replied before spelling it out letter by letter and saying the full word loud enough for the whole unit to hear.
Frank immediately turned toward you. “Is this a word?” he asked.
You finished your last pull-up and made your way over to the two men. Taking a quick glance at the board and following Billy’s finger, you scanned the wooden blocks. The word Billy had formed wasn’t a common one but it was in the dictionary.
“Sorry Frank, it’s a word.” You couldn’t help but smile at the look of betrayal on the large man's face. Though you would love more than anything to prove Billy wrong, he rarely was.
Clicking your tongue with a slight shrug you turned toward your bed, taking a seat so that you could easily rummage through your nightstand. As you fumbled past old letters and notebooks you finally felt the familiar softness of a worn-out book. Pulling it through the pile you glanced at the cover, admiring the art deco style for the seemingly millionth time.
“You ever gonna trade that in?” You heard Billy say from his side of the scrabble board.
“I don’t think I will.”
“The covers hanging on by a thread, you could at least get a better copy,” His voice was dripping with arrogance. You looked up at Frank who quickly understood your call for backup.
“We all brought somethin’ from home, Bill. No need to shit on hers.” He grumbled.
“I’m just sayin’, it can’t be that good of a book,” Billy said. You watched as he stood up and made his way toward you.
With nothing but muscle memory guiding you, you pulled the book close to your chest. “I’d let you borrow it, but I don’t feel like listening to you sound out the words.” you teased earning a chuckle from Frank. But Billy didn’t find it very funny. He continued in your direction until he was only about a foot away.
“Let me see it.” He demanded.
You tried to force out a laugh but it came out as more of a struggled sigh. Billy kept his serious glare, continuously glancing between you and the book.
“Come on.” Frank tried to stop his friend but it was no use. Billy had decided that you were going to give him that book.
You took in a deep breath before loosening your grip on the frail object. Billy lunged forward, snatching it out of your hands, and you let him take it. Both you and Frank watched as he flipped carelessly through the pages. When he was finished pretending to read the back cover he threw the book behind him. You sprung up and positioned yourself inches away from Billy’s smug face.
“What’s your problem?” You huffed. From the corner of your eye, you could see Frank stand up, prepared to separate the two of you.
“See, this is more like it.” Billy immediately perked up. “You always got your nose in that book. I missed this spark!”
Your anger was replaced with confusion as you listened to him speak. “What do you gain from that?” You replied with a grimace.
Billy’s smile only grew. “A sparring partner.” He said.
You looked back at Frank who shrugged, letting you know it was completely your call. With that, you felt yourself getting a little excited. It had been a while since you saw any real action and with Billy so willing you couldn’t help the rush of adrenaline that suddenly came to you. Without a second thought, you began pulling your hair back. Billy couldn’t contain his excitement. The two of you were perfect for one another. You didn’t care that he was technically your commanding officer and he didn’t care that you were a woman. Neither of you was going to hold back and it was going to be some good entertainment for the rest of the unit.
You both got into a fighting stance, fists up and heads low. Billy let you land the first blow, lightly punching his side. The two of you danced around one another like trained boxers before he pushed you back with a fist to your shoulder. You took a step back to maintain balance. Billy lunged forward hoping to hit your face but you ducked before he could make contact. Swooping below his fist you landed two consecutive punches to his stomach. You watched as he doubled over, causing the other men to cheer. The sound only fueled Billy. He recovered quickly, giving you no time to think before hitting you square in the jaw.
You felt your body follow as your head swung to the right. It was no question that you were bleeding but when you wiped your mouth with the back of your hand you were greeted with more blood than expected. This encouraged you. A small smirk crept onto your lips as you flicked the blood off of your hand.
“That’s all you got pretty boy?” You couldn’t help but antagonize him. Frank tried not to laugh at your remark but it was a failed attempt.
Billy ran toward you. You both locked each other's heads in the other's hands as if you were playing tug of war with your skulls. He pulled you forward, practically throwing you across the base. You landed on your feet, immediately charging him once you got your footing. When you reached him you aimed for his diaphragm, plunging your shoulder into him until all of his oxygen was ripped out. Within seconds, you were on top of him bashing your fists into his face.
The other men looked to Frank, wondering whether or not to separate the two of you, but he waved their worries away. He knew you both needed to get this out.
Finally, Billy got his wind back as he began palming your face in an attempt to get you off of him. With one hand working to get his off of you and the other still attempting to do some damage, you weren’t able to realize how stable Billy had become. He scratched your face a little before grabbing both of your shoulders and tossing you to the side. The two of you took in a couple of breaths before Billy spoke.
“You done?”
“Oh, you wish.” You replied.
Billy chuckled. “That’s what I like to hear.”
When the two of you stood up you got right back to work. He was bleeding now too and somehow the two of you had become bulls, you saw red and you were charging. You through each other into every object on the base. The rest of your unit watched in shock as you held your own against their leader. They moved out of the way and let you two duke it out. Frank was the only one who realized how serious the match had become and he cursed at himself for brushing it off only moments ago. The other men cheered wildly at the scene before them, and for a split second, it seemed as though you were in a fight to the death. Like you were out there with one of the terrorists your team dealt with so often.
“What the fuck is going on in here?” Colonel Schoonover shouted. His voice was loud enough to stop you and Billy in your tracks.
“We’re sparing sir,” Billy replied breathlessly.
“Bullshit. I just walked into a cock fight. We’re supposed to be fighting the enemy not each other.”
Though Colonel Schoonover was a pain in your ass you couldn’t deny the accuracy in his words. You kept your head down and nodded at his words.
“Castle, clean up your girl, and Russo I didn’t put you in charge for this.” The Colonel said before leaving everyone to their business.
Frank quickly made his way over to you. Helping you over to a secluded area of the base, you watched as he picked up a first aid kit and began to sift through the materials. You had never known Frank to deal with injuries in the unit but he was quick to find the correct materials and begin cleaning you up. You felt him start on your lip, grabbing your chin in one hand and lightly touching your lip with a clean cloth.
“He got you good.” He teased.
You let a laughing breath escape from your nostrils. “Yeah, maybe I shoulda known better.”
“Nah, you got some good licks in,” he replied.
Though you were hurting you couldn’t help but mimic Frank’s calm demeanor. He kept a steady smirk as he made his way to your brow with a new cloth. His touch was gentle and under his hands, you knew you were safe. He moved your hair out of your face and for and kept it on the back of your head for a long moment.
“You really are a piece of work ya know.” He smiled.
“Yeah, that’s probably why they shipped me out here with you two.” You said. Frank always loved your sense of humor and even while he was cleaning you up he laughed at every word you said.
By the time he was finished the two of you had been making jokes for what felt like hours. You felt as though you could see a light in Frank, a side of him that wasn’t always prominent in the desert.
When the two of you got back to the main area of the base it was quiet. The men around you pretended not to analyze your condition as Billy approached you and Frank.
“How you feelin?” Billy questioned, patting you on the back.
“Better than you I bet.” You replied.
Both men laughed but they could tell you weren’t doing so good. Your head was pounding and when you got to your bed you practically fell onto it.
“I bet.” Billy chuckled sympathetically.
You rolled your eyes at his comment before taking off your shoes and getting under your covers. Though it was still a little early you decided that some rest would be a good idea. It was easy to fall asleep knowing the rest of the unit would be up for a while longer.
When you woke up again it was dark outside. You assumed the rest of the unit was asleep but as you turned over to Frank’s bed you realized he was awake, just staring at the ceiling. You couldn’t help the smile that spread across your face as you analyzed his profile. You always loved the harshness of his nose and how it suited him so well, and how soft his lips seemed to be. You found yourself wondering how they would feel beneath your fingertips or on top of your own.
Suddenly Frank turned toward you. It was too late for you to pretend you hadn’t been staring and it didn’t seem to matter. You both smiled as your cheeks became warm with embarrassment.
“Can’t sleep?” You whispered.
Frank turned on his shoulder so that he was completely facing you. “I usually don’t,” he smirked.
“Do any of us?” You teased, but looking around you realized how dumb your comment may have sounded. “I guess we do.” You chuckled.
Frank smiled. “How are you feeling?”
“My headache’s gone but I’ll probably be up for the rest of the night so, I’d say I’ve never been better.” Your sarcasm was something he had grown used to.
“We could do something if you want.” He suggested.
You immediately shook away your intrusive thoughts, finding it hard to keep your eyes on his. “I wouldn’t want to wake up the guys, they already have it out for me.” you tried to joke, but Frank had already made up his mind. You watched as he opened up his covers, motioning for you to join him in his bed.
You couldn’t help the look of disbelief that washed over your face. You hadn’t imagined Frank this way before but somehow it seemed right. You looked around making sure the unit was actually asleep.
Frank let out a breathy laugh as he motioned you over once again. “Come on, we’ll be quiet.” He teased.
You felt your cheeks get warm again as you got out of your bed and made your way to his. The springs seemed like sirens as your weight settled next to him.
“This is better.” Frank’s voice was low. “I couldn’t see you too good from all the way over there.”
“It’s a few extra feet Castle.” You replied, trying to get comfortable without touching his body.
“Well, it’s dark.” He shot back.
“I coming on to me.” The smile that came to your face was wider than you expected.
Frank looked away from you for a moment, laughing quietly at your comment. Suddenly you felt your body stiffen as his hand met your waist. “And what if I was,” he whispered.
You were shocked. It had been too long since you’d felt someone touch you and your heart was pounding. “Is this technically considered abuse of power?” You smiled.
“Are you into that?” He teased.
It felt good to banter with him. You wanted him, that much was evident. You couldn’t deny the growing wetness between your thighs or the butterflies fluttering around in your stomach. He had just barely touched you and you were already imagining everything else the two of you could do together.
You were quiet for a moment allowing him to move his hand down to your hip and trace light circles with his thumb. Hesitantly you raised your own hand to his head, lightly brushing over his buzzed hair. “It’s been a while since I’ve done anything.” You tried to warn him, but he didn’t seem to care.
“You think I have?” He laughed.
You shook your head before moving your hand down to touch his nose, running your finger down the bridge before lightly cupping his cheek. You stared down at his lips, wondering again if they felt as soft as they looked. It didn’t take long for Frank to connect your lips.
You let out a small moan as he pulled you closer to him. He was already hard against you and it made you weak. Frank moved down to your neck as you began to stroke him through his cargo pants.
It was pure bliss being so close to him. Every move the two of you made was like a dance, rhythmic and sweet. He grinded against you until neither of you could take it anymore. Like a silent agreement between your minds, you both took off your pants. Frank’s cock sprung forward and for a moment you didn’t know if he would be able to fit.
Using the covers to protect the two of you from being seen you slowly straddled over him. A light his filled the silence of the night as you lowered yourself onto his cock. He streched you perfectly, pushing against your walls and hitting you right in your sweet spot once he was all the way in.
It was up to you now, to make him feel just as good. With the slight bending of your knees you bounced over him with his hands on your hips guiding you. He gripped your ass, letting out stiff grunts to try and stay as quiet as possible.
You let your hands roam around his chest, trailing down to his abs and taking your time moving over each ripple. Taking in his full length once again you met his lips, breathing heavily between each kiss. Neither of you were able to contain your moans as Frank began to twitch inside of you.
“I-I’m gonna cum, I’m gonna cum.” Frank repeated. You couldn’t help but smile as his face began to contort.
“I’m close, just give me a second.” You panted. He nodded, trying hard to hold himself back.
Continuing to grind on top of him you could feel yourself unwinding. Every muscle tensing as you began your inevitable release. You held your moans deep in your throat, trying your hardest not to wake anyone else. You threw your head back letting out a shaking breath before looking back down at Frank.
Noticing how close he was you quickly got off of him, allowing ropes of cum to splash between your thighs. You rolled over, taking your original place beside him as the two of you breathed heavily.
“You’re a little too good at that for someone who supposed to be out of practice.” He teased.
“Yeah well I forgot how messy it could be.” You replied, looking down at your thighs.
Frank smiled before putting his hand on your cheek and giving you a quick peck. “Let’s get you cleaned up.”

5 Characters who should get an Invincible Special Origin Episode
Tumblr media
Invincible Season 2 has just wrapped up, and while some fans are a little disappointed with its ending, overall the general consensus has been positive. From excellent music, to phenomenal voice work and animation, along with X-Men '97 its been a great time to be a superhero fan AND an animation fan.
Tumblr media
This season also brought in a handful of new characters, as well brought some fan favorites to the forefront, including Allen the Alien, Rex Splode and Immortal.
I think I speak for everyone when I say I love being in this universe, and would love to see more. And while I know Season 3 will be here sooner than Season 2 was, I've been thinking about all those incredible characters and the Atom Eve Special.
It went a long way in showing how good the animation got, expanding on Atom Eve, and evening building up threats like The Lizard League.
Tumblr media
I think theres alot of potential in expanding some of these characters, seeing their origins and helping build up their character development.
So I'm going to go through some, along with ideas as to how the episodes can play out. Spoiler Warning for Invincible Season 1 & 2 and mild spoilers from the comics.
5. Bulletproof
Tumblr media
Starting off with one of the newest members of the Guardians of the Globe, Zandale Randolph AKA Bulletproof is definitely a character you forgot was in this season.
While he is known for a few big things in the future, he didn't really get to do much this season. He wasn't very useful in the sequid invasion, didn't really help in any major fights, nor do we know anything about him. So why him?
His history in the comics is rather tragic, and I think is something we are going to explore. His twin brother, a mad genius, attempts experimenting on Zandale in order to give himself superpowers. Instead it gives Zandale superpowers, and kills his brother.
Due to this, and unable to tell his parents, he pretends to be both brothers to preserve his brothers legacy.
That tragedy is alot, and could make for an amazing episode, with his brother being the villain and explain why he is so guarded.
Plus, I love Jay Pharoah. More Jay Pharoah please.
Tumblr media
4. Dupli-Kate
Tumblr media
We got some hints at Dupli-Kates origin in her eulogy from Immortal. Her powers come from a curse upon her family, that led to both her and her brother gaining the ability to multiply.
What you don't know is they started off as a brother sister team before going their separate ways.
We actually see Kate's brother Multi-Paul in the cell when the Maulers escape again. Seeing a young version of Multi-Paul before their inevitable confrontation in a later season could give us more stakes.
Tumblr media
Yes, this is another sibling rivalry just like Bulletproof, but this could start way more fun than Bulletproofs.
And two multipliers who are children fighting it out in a dramatic finish? Also good television.
3. Monster Girl
Tumblr media
Talk about a tragedy.
Monster Girl's curse was given to her after falling in love with a man whose grandmother disapproved of her. That grandmother was a witch, who turned her into an ogre with extraordinary power.
We don't get much else from her origin, which could give us some wiggle room.
This could start as a love story turned horror story, unable to get out of her monster form, feeling trapped in her own body. We can have the witch be an Agatha Harkness type, and a physical threat in the episode too.
Tumblr media
Once she is defeated, Amanda is able to turn back and be with the man she loves, until she realizes months later, that she is getting younger, and he breaks her heart.
The beats are all there, and I'd love to see a magic based episode in the Invincible Universe mixed in with some Hulk style action. Plus, building up Amanda will be important as she is vital in the comics.
2. Thaedus The Great Betrayer
Tumblr media
You didn't think I was only picking Guardians did you?
Thaedus' episode could be by far the most interesting, showing us Viltrum from a first hand perspective, before he betrayed and before he formed the Coalition.
I don't want to get too heavy into spoilers, but he causes a brutal blow on the Viltrum Empire I'd love to see first hand. We can keep Peter Cullen, or get a younger voice actor, but either way, seeing a younger Viltrum Empire would be very intriguing and a bloodbath.
Tumblr media
1. Rex Splode
Tumblr media
Despite being one of the most annoying characters in Season 1, Rex is by far the standout of Season 2 in my eyes.
Another origin that was slightly teased, I can imagine Rex's episode can be his sad origin, meeting Atom Eve in act 2, and taking out his oppressors by the end in a good old fashioned team up.
This could be a direct sequel to the Atom Eve Special, giving us more Eve, and help us understand their relationship even better. Plus Rex being blind sided with a girl who can make anything? Sounds like a fun battle to me.
Tumblr media
Thank you so much for reading! Please consider following, and check out my socials and other sites here! And let me know: Who do you want to see get an Invincible Special Origin Episode?

(note: Marko is lithuanian, not russian, but he's in as a member of the soviet military, a top submission - in numbers - and an iconic character. we know he's not technically russian)
Marko:
He was my first crush.
Svetlana:
She is a badass tough woman. Her philosophy is, don't get caught in the storm, be the storm. She is such a brilliant character. She is strictly practical and pragmatic. Which, of course, also helps her survive her life circumstances. She is so factually to a point that her morals are also cranky. She is very smart and a genius with numbers, she can calculate high amount of numbers in her head. She comes to the USA as a prostitute through a human trafficking ring. Then she is married off by a family "clan" father to his son (to "de-gay" him). After that they get a baby, she lives with them in their house. Then they take over the other prostitutes making their own business. They set up an establishment above a pub. Things don't work out. The establishment dies, her husband goes to prison. Svetlana starts working as a bartender in the pub, which is run by a good couple living out of wedlock. While gentrification threatens the area, (they live in a run-down area), and the middle to small upper class moves in, she takes full advantage of being Russian. Because the hipsters are into authenticity, which they find not only in the rustic pub, but also in the badass Russian woman who rips them off and the hipster knowingly let her do that to them. The pub becomes an attraction and brings in more money than ever before. Until they have had enough of the fuss and want to keep their old clientele. Then the immigration registration authorities find out about her and she marries the woman of the bar owner couple. It develops into a more than platonic relationship and soon they are living as a threesome, a poly couple with 3 toddlers. Although she had already lived with them before, whereby she offered domestic duties, because she is a all or nothing type of person. When they find out what a maths genius and what outstanding accounting skills she has, she takes over the bar's finances and then because it's fun and important to her, she takes over the household finances as well. Actually she and her wife take over the business and their husband takes over the household and babysitting duties. Even when her father turns up, who sold her when she was a teenager, she takes him in to their home and lets him be their bartender and babysitter. I haven't watched the whole show yet. So I don't know what happens to her later, but she is such a cool character. I like her a lot. She can't be brought down. She is a fighter, she is a warrior and knows what she can do and has to to survive. Her pragmatism is on point and it is funny and not funny at the same time, because the world they live in is so fucked up.

DRAGON RIDER DR.
I would like to preface this by saying that this dr is mostly custom. There isn’t really a “source” like you have with Harry Potter and the MCU, but it is heavily inspired by the Eragon books! This dr is a modern dragon rider dr, an urban fantasy dr, and a better cr all in one, but I just call it my dragon rider dr to make things easier for everyone hshfgfdgbdf
SO! Basically, the world is a lot like this one (minus the -isms and -phobias, obviously), but everyone receives a dragon. A person receives a dragon through a process called the Choosing. Their Choosing happens at the solstice or equinox immediately after their sixteenth birthday, whichever comes first. (Meaning that it’s an event that happens four times a year, if that makes sense.) The sixteen-year-old is brought to their country’s Hatchery, the facility that holds all unhatched dragon eggs for that nation. The Hatchery workers, called Keepers, guide the teenagers through the various rooms of dragon eggs to help them find the egg that will hatch for them. A dragon only hatches when it senses the presence of its rider. It will hatch for one person and one alone, and will wait centuries if it has to.
Once the sixteen-year-old is chosen, the egg will hatch, and a permanent bond will form between the hatchling and the human. As part of the bond, the pair have a telepathic connection (see what I mean about the Eragon influences? 😂😂😂) and the dragon learns how to communicate using the language of its rider (even if only via a telepathic connection). A downside to this bond, however, is that if either half of a bonded pair dies, so does the other. This is commonly seen as a blessing; to many, the idea of having to live without their rider/dragon would be a form of torture.
As for the dragons themselves, they come in countless varieties and endless color combinations. Some have four legs and two wings, some have two legs and two wings, some four wings and four legs, some four legs and no wings, so on and so forth. And they can have any of a wide range of what I call “breath weapons,” such as fire breath, lightning breath, etc. They can range in size, too! Some only grow to the size of cats, and others can become hulking behemoths. (Most exist in the middle of that range, though— large enough to ride, but not too large) All dragons, however, are intelligent and capable of (mental) speech. They are also mirrors of their riders. If someone is being shitty to you, you might want to avoid their dragon. Just to be safe :’)
OH! Something else that I scripted is dragonscale swords! If your family has enough money for it, it is an option to give a specially-trained blacksmith some of your dragon’s naturally-shed scales so that they can make a sword using them. This sword, once finished, has a blade that perfectly matches the color of your dragon’s scales. These blades never dull or break, and they are very expensive to make. In the Olden Days, it used to be tradition for members of a great house to gift their children a dragonscale sword when they became of age. (Now, it’s mostly just used. to flex your money hsghjdfghdf) The process of making these swords is a closely-guarded secret, but they are always stunning pieces of weaponry when finished.
Ok so now that the worldbuilding’s done, it’s time to move onto more important things: me! :3 ( /j )
When I shift to this DR, I will wake up the morning of the day before I get my dragon. (Originally, I was just going to shift to that morning, but I figured I would need time to adjust hjdhgfgfhd) This means that I’m 16, aka in high school. I’m actually kind of looking forward to this, believe it or not! I had a very Not Great high school experience in my OR, but I scripted that I’m going to have the positive experience that I always wanted! :3 So that’s fun hsjkfghdfghfdh (and before anyone asks, no, I will not be dating anyone until I’m grown.) After I graduate, I’m gonna go to art school!! The plan is to double major in animation and creative writing and y’all I’m so hype for that omg!!! I’m gonna go to the school I wanted to go to in my OR but couldn’t because it was ridiculously expensive hdfghhddfj
Aaaaaand that’s about it, I think! If you have any questions, feel free to ask!!! Thank you for reading, and I love you!!! Mwah mwah!! /p

We’re Burned For Better - Chapter Three
Tumblr media
Chapter Three
---
The next day had turned out to be quite the series of events. Aelora, amongst many other things, bore witness to Daemon beheading Vaemond Velaryon, in defense of her Mother. Vaemond had called her and her brothers bastards, and Rhaenyra a whore.
If Daemon hadn't done something about it, Aelora would have. She didn’t take kindly to insults towards her family. While it was true that her brothers bore no resemblance to their father, she didn’t let that get in the way of defending them.
To tell the truth, she harbored no great affection for her Father, Ser Laenor. He was a kind man, even kinder for fathering children that were not his, if there was to be any truth to the rumors. He loved Aelora, as any father would, but he never made any attempts to strengthen hers and his relationship.
Aelora’s Mother told her it was because she resembled the Targaryens. Her spirit reminded him of his sister, Laena, who he greatly missed.
When he “passed,” and Daemon married Aelora’s Mother, she was happier for it. She always enjoyed Daemon’s company, and of her siblings, he seemed to prefer her. He had no shame in hiding it. He was infinitely better at fathering girls.
Aelora was happy to have Rhaena and Baela at her side during her time at Dragonstone, as well as Princess Rhaenys and Lord Corlys, who often visited. She missed them dearly when they left, although she was soon after sent to King’s Landing. She was very happy to hear that Daemon had brought them along to the city with him.
Aelora had a great love for the Blacks. She was extremely loyal to them, and when they were threatened in court, she stood by Daemon's side without so much as flinching.
Helaena gasped and turned away, shielded by her mother, even Aegon taking a step back. Aemond just watched, slightly bewildered, but intrigued.
He met Aelora’s eyes across the room, and her face was stoic. Brave. He had always liked that about her.
That night, the King ordered that the family dine together, united as one. It went about as well as could be expected with all the estranged family members in one room.
Aelora had grown quite fond of Daemon since he had married her Mother, and she shared an amused glance across the table as Alicent said a prayer before the meal.
She looked over towards Aemond, to see if she could catch his gaze, but he had his eyes dutifully closed. Whether he was actually praying, or just attempting to appease his own mother, she did not know. Still, she’d have to tease him for it later.
Aelora’s Mother announced the betrothal of Jacaerys and Lucerys to Rhaena and Baela. The news was taken surprisingly well across the table, and Aeloraa smiled fondly at each pair, truly grateful to see them all happy. Even more so grateful that she was finally getting true sisters.
Aegon, being the bastard he is, had to spoil everyone's fun. Aelora supposed he couldn’t help himself, it was in his nature to be a perpetual nuisance. Still, that fact didn’t make him any less insufferable.
Aelora only heard the tail end of his words to Jace, not only embarrassing her brother in his attempt, but her soon to be sister in law.
“Hold your tongue, Aegon. It would be a shame to see you lose it.”
Aegon grinned, narrowing his eyes at Aelora. “Always a pleasure, aren’t you?”
She was sidetracked from her response by the King congratulating Luke on his inheritance of Driftmark. The toast was short, once again interrupted by Aegon antagonizing Jace.
Jace clenched his jaw. “I believe my sister told you to hold your tongue. Are two warnings necessary, or are you just that daft? You can play the jester if you wish, but you will hold your tongue before my betrothed.”
The King stood, expressing his sorrow to see his family so estranged. He removed his mask, giving Aelora a view of his decaying face. She fought to keep her face steady, not wanting to offend him. She watched with respect as he did his best to stay upright, and instill the importance of the message to everyone.
“Set aside your grievances. If not for the Crown, then for the man who loves you all. So dearly.”
Aelora looked around the room as Alicent helped him sit, watching everyone’s faces. No one could seem to make eye contact, staring at their plates. Suddenly her Mother stood up, raising her cup. The King’s words seem to inspire a round of toasts, all of which struck Aelora. Knowing the history of her Mother and Alicent, she felt a twinge in her heart at their words, smiling as she watched them commend each other.
Of course, the peace only lasted so long. The revered toasts game to jokes, blows to blows. Aegon angered Aelora’s brother, who stood to look Aegon in the eye. At the intensity of the stares, Aemond stood as well, staring them both down.
Rolling her eyes, Aelora cleared her throat, ever so slightly. Aemond caught her glare, and decided to sit, rather than endure her wrath. Jace and Aegon took it as their cue to follow, sitting and half heartedly making up, at least as cordially as they could without hitting each other.
Helaena stood, and as much as Aelora loved her, she rolled her eyes, thinking that she couldn’t bear another awkward toast. To her surprise, although she didn't think Helaena intended it, she took a dig at Aegon, wounding his pride.
To Aelora’s amusement even more so, when the harpist began to play, Jace asked Helaena to dance, who gladly accepted. Aelora smiled at the pair, thinking of the possibilities of what could have happened if Jace had been promised to Helaena. Maybe everything would be different, and Aelora wouldn’t have to watch Helaena sit with her children all day while Aegon was off somewhere.
The thought saddened her, but she smiled as Jace made Helaena laugh.
The peace was once again overlooming, if only for a moment. Seeing her family smile brought a smile to Aelora’s face. She laughed as she watched Jace and Helaena dance, if you could even call it dancing. Her Mother’s laugh was bright, warming her heart. There was nothing more in the world Aelora enjoyed more than seeing her happy.
When the King groaned in pain, and was carried off by his guards, Aelora knew it was the end of the peace. He was holding the family together, and without him, it was bound to crumble.
The final straw was the roasted pig, placed in front of Aemond on the table. Aelora covered her mouth with her hand in realization, silently willing him not to react. She wasn’t so lucky, because Luke snickered, and Aemond, never the one to let his pride be wounded, stood up for the final toast of the night.
“To the health of my nephews. Jace, Luke, and Joffrey. Each of them handsome, wise…strong. Come, let us drain our cups to these three Strong boys.”
Aelora finally stood, giving him a look of warning. “Aemond.”
Jace squared his shoulders. “I dare you to say that again.”
“Why? ‘Twas only a compliment. Do you not think yourself Strong?”
“Aemond!” Aelora said louder, but she wasn’t quick enough.
Jace quickly walked over, swinging and punching Aemond in the jaw. Aelora gasped, although she did nothing to stand in the way. Aemond pushed Jace to the ground, guards suddenly filing in. Aelora only stepped in when Aegon grabbed Luke, who was trying to come to his brother's defense, and pressed him to the table, holding him still.
“Unhand him or lose that hand,” she said, picking a knife up from a stray plate.
Reluctantly, Aegon let go, and Aelora pulled Luke into her, pushing him towards her Mother. Aelora whipped around the table, moving next to stop her twin, but Daemon had beaten her to it. He held him back as Aelora came to step beside him, and she overheard Aemond’s words to his mother.
“I was merely expressing how proud I am of this family, Mother. Though it seems my nephews aren’t quite as proud of theirs.”
Aelora’s Mother ordered her children to go to their quarters, but Aelora remained by Daemon’s side as she watched Aemond stand opposite of her.
Aemond looked at Daemon, not necessarily willing to challenge him, but then he looked at Aelora. He saw her face, riddled with anger and disappointment, and finally chose to step down, turning and walking out of the room. He didn’t look at her as he left. He walked straight past her, so close that all she had to do was reach out and touch him, but she didn’t.
She let him go.
As people began filing out of the room, Daemon turned to Aelora. “You should have hit one of them. Gods know the bastards deserved it. I would have approved.”
She nodded, still seething. “There’s still time for it, I assure you. They’ll wish for it when I’ve finished with them.”
“I’m proud to call you my own.” He smirked at Aelora, patting her shoulder before walking out of the room. “Make it hurt, darling.”
Aelora’s Mother and Alicent were all who were left, except a few guards and servants. She suddenly felt the urge to cry, and she rushed over to her Mother, nudging into her side. Rhaenyra ran a comforting hand through Aelora’s hair, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
“I think it’s best we go back to Dragonstone, my love.”
Aelora’s eyes widened. “You mean me too?”
“Yes. I’ve missed you dearly, and I cannot bear having another child on Dragonstone while my firstborn is away from me. You will come home with us in the morning. Don’t worry, you can visit on Meraxes whenever you want.”
Aelora felt like she was going to be sick. She desperately missed her home, but the idea of leaving her family in the city was enough to make her cry. How was she going to tell Aemond?
Alicent shook her head, taking Rhaenyra’s hand. She placed her other hand on Aelora’s arm. “Please, don’t go. You’ve only just arrived.”
Rhaenyra nodded, sighing. “Let me see the children home. I’ll return on dragonback.”
Aelora’s shook her head, and she turned to her. “Mother, you can’t come alone, not in your condition. I can see everyone home, or I can come back with you.”
Rhaenyra shook her head, cupping Aelora’s cheek in her palm. “No, love, I need you with your brothers. You’re the only level headed one out of them all, including Daemon. I want to know that you’re safe, that you’re all together. Say your goodbyes.”
Aelora wanted to argue, but she just nodded in defeat. She looked to Alicent, who gave her hand a comforting squeeze.
“Helaena will want to say her goodbyes. To her and her children, they’re quite fond of you. And Aemond…I know he acted tonight without cause, and I will not defend it. But please, let him see you off, too. He sulked for a month the last time you left. He’s too prideful to come to you himself, and he knows he’s angered you. I won’t blame you if you don’t say goodbye, but I’m urging you to. You know where he’ll be.”
Aelora nodded. “Of course, Your Grace. He may have made a fool of himself, but I know I can persuade him to apologize. I’ll say goodbye to both of them, I promise. Thank you for the opportunity.”
Alicent smiled at her with a genuine fondness. She turned to Aelora’s Mother. “You’ve raised a fine daughter, Rhaenyra. She’s just like you.”
Rhaenyra smiled. “Yes, I’m very proud. I don’t know where she gets it all from. Go ahead, say your goodbyes, my girl.”
Aelora nodded at them both, turning to leave the room. She knew where Aemond would be, it was where he always went to sulk.
Sure enough, she found him up on the hill just outside the dragonpit. Vhagar was too large to stay in the pit, so she slept outside when she stayed close to the castle. Aemond always went to the pit, standing on a perch that overlooked the hill so he could watch Vhagar.
Aelora supposed it was because, while Aemond was a very independent person, he didn’t truly enjoy being alone. With Vhagar nearby, he could still feel like someone he connected to was closeby, without ever having to go to another person and face the risk of embarrassment.
Half the time, he’d choose to come to Aelora. The other half, this is where he’d be.
She clenched her jaw, willing herself not to shout at him. It wouldn’t accomplish anything, and it would only cause him to sulk further. She could see his shoulders square, and his body tense. She hadn’t made her presence known, but he had picked up on it anyway.
“If you expect me to show you pity, you have the wrong idea. Do you want to tell me what that little performance was?”
He said nothing, but she could see him flex his hand, balling his fingers into a fist.
“I suggest you speak now because I will be gone by morning.” This got his attention, and he turned his head just enough that he could see her. “What?”
“Mother has ordered we go back to Dragonstone,” she informed. “I tried to get her to let me stay, but she wouldn’t hear it. I don’t know when I’ll be back.”
Aemond hummed, his eyes cast to his feet. He just nodded, turning back to face Vhagar.
Aelora scoffed. “Really? You have nothing to say to me? If you let me leave now without an explanation, don’t bother sending a raven because I won’t receive it. So, what will it be?”
He turned around to fully face Aelora, taking a step forward. “I…I’m sorry.”
Aelora raised a brow. “Sorry? You’re sorry? It was one dinner, Aemond. Surely you could have made it through without adding any more fuel to the fire. I understand your resentment towards my brothers, and I know Aegon was no help, but for fucks sake. You had no right.”
“Jacaerys insulted my family!” Aemond said, taking yet another step towards her.
She took a step forward, shortening the gap between them both. Her eyes were full of anger, her voice bitter.
“No, Aemond, no he didn’t. Your brother made snide remarks, not only to Jace, but to my soon to be sister, and Jace stood up for her. If Aegon is who you are offended on behalf of, you have misunderstood who your true family is. You, however, insulted my family. Belittling my brothers is one thing, even I do it when they’re being uncivil. But they did no such thing.”
Aemond wouldn’t meet Aelora’s eyes, looking down at the ground.
“To question their legitimacy in front of the entire family, and in front of the King no less, is to question mine. Or have you forgotten I’m a so-called Strong, too? I may not have the looks, but I am every bit of his child as my brothers are, if you truly believe it to be so. I will not have you think any less of me because of it.”
He met her eyes at the accusation, his face softening. “Aelora, you know I would never question that about you–”
“Do I, Aemond? Do I know that? Because you seemed pretty content to do so tonight. Hear me when I say this, I can’t be more clear about it. I don’t give a shit who my real father is. I would be just as proud to call Ser Harwin my father as I was to call Ser Laenor my father. Just as I regard Daemon as my father. The truth of it matters not to me, and it shouldn’t to you either. Do you think of me less because of my parentage?”
“No–”
“Then why question it? Why, in an effort to humiliate my brothers, would you drag me into it? What purpose does it serve you?”
Aemond nodded ever so slightly, his shoulders slumping. Reluctantly, he reached for one of Aelora’s hands, and she begrudgingly accepted.
“I know. I acted on impulse, and I didn’t think–”
“Exactly, Aemond,” Aelora said, although she didn’t let go of his hand. “You didn’t think.”
“I’m sorry.” She felt him squeeze her hand ever so slightly. She squeezed back.
She brought her other hand up to cup his chin and turn his head to face hers. Aelora held him still, so he had to meet her gaze. Her voice was soft.
“Answer me this, then. I know you have no great love for your own father, and that is understandable. If you discovered that he wasn’t your true father, tell me in truth, would it really matter? Because if it doesn’t, why should mine? Does my parentage really matter that much to you? Or any of my family’s, for that matter?”
He shook his head. “No. It doesn’t matter. It is no one’s fault what family they’re born into.”
“Exactly. Blood isn’t what defines a family. Your family is who you choose it to be, and the rest doesn’t matter. I don’t give a shit about blood. My Mother is my family, Daemon is my family, my brothers and their betrothed are my family.”
Aelora intertwined her fingers with his, pressing a kiss to the back of his hand. “You’re my family, you insufferable idiot. You, and Helaena, even your mother. And that is enough. That is who I pick. Are you hearing me?”
He nodded, face softening, his shoulders relaxing. His voice was quiet. “You’re mine, too.”
“Good,” she nodded, pulling him along with her. “You’re going to come with me to apologize to your mother, Gods only know what she must think of me and my brothers now.”
“She likes you. She smiles when I mention you.”
Aelora grinned to herself, tugging him along. “Fine, we can do that later. But we are going to say goodbye to Helaena, I won’t leave here without doing so. I feel so bad for her, cooped up everyday with no one to talk to. Promise me you’ll be with her more. I know she’s lonely. Promise me.”
“I promise, Aelora. But why am I coming with you to say goodbye, I am not the one leaving.”
“Because…I don’t want to leave you alone just yet. I know it has been months, but it feels like I’ve only just arrived, and now I will be without you again. I’m taking all the time I can get…and, in the event that we run into your brother, you will be here to stop me from doing anything rash, like maiming him, or possibly killing him, I haven’t decided yet.”
Aelora could hear him chuckle, knowing from the sound of his voice that he was smiling.
“That’s my girl.”
A/N - Hi! So I know this part is largely recycled, the next part will be too, at least partially. I hope that’s alright. And then after that part or two, the rest will be entirely new work. Anyway, hope you enjoyed it, let me know what you think!

Meet the Di Luculum family, for @wileyfern 's save file!
Fun Fact!: Diluculum is latin for sunrise/morning light
Private Download!
After two hundred or so years of being a vampire, things are bound to get... boring, as far as Erza was concerned. While transitioning helped, it certainly didn't clench his need for a more enticing existence.
That was, until he met Gustav, and fell in love with the chaos-prone human(?). That certainly brought Erza some amusement, even more so now that the couple married and had their little batling, Carmillia.
The only person still miffed about this arrangement seems to be Kaya, Gustav's adopted child who has to deal with a new stepfather and sister on top of other... changes in her life. But as it seems, her desire for a solid family structure overrides whatever lingering annoyance (And honestly, who could resist Carmie's endearing personality?)
Hopefully, a new start on Forgotten Hollow might help bring some balance to their new life (or emotion, for that stale place).

Traits: ❖ Music Lover ❖ Familiar ❖ High Maintenance ❖ Perfectionist (?)
Lifestyles: ❖ Close-Knit ❖ Hungry for Love ❖ Indoorsy
Over his lifetime, Erza has achieved a lot of skills [and yet, my game doesn't allow me to give him the Vampire level I wanted :( ]. Though, he never quite looked for starting a family until he met Gustav, who fascinated him on first sight. And although Carmie is still very young, Erza can't wait to expand the family he created, and also teach the next generation. His relation with Kaya is still tenative, but both are putting in the effort, despite their initial issues.
When I was setting his skill levels, the game generated him the perfectionist trait. It seemed fitting, so I accepted it. The question mark is because it doesn't appear on S4 Tray Importer.
The Di Luculum surname is originally his! (Story-wise) Gustav didn't have an actual one before.
I had to physically restrain myself from giving him a Jason Todd-like white streak on his hair. But damn it would have looked good if it didn't override his piercings.

Young Adult │ He/Him │ Human(?) │ That's a himbo if I've ever seen one
Traits: ❖ Generous ❖ Clumsy ❖ Loyal
Lifestyles: ❖ Close-Knit ❖ Adrenaline-Seeker ❖ Hungry for Love
Being in constant odds with magic really shouldn't be something a human experienced. Not that Gustav ever realized that, though. Honestly, between mediunity and dealing with whatever his daughter ended up being, getting married to a Vampire seems the most common situation to deal with, even with his little blood princess being born. Though, maybe Gustav would like to relax a little - just this once - to figure out where to go from here. But conciliating his needs with what his heart wants is a difficult thing...
Wants to be turned into a Vampire, so he can stay with Erza forever. Doesn't quite understand why his husband is so unwilling to try. (Erza is scared. He doesn't know what Gustav is, but human he is definitely not, and the consequences could be disastrous)
I originally wanted Gus to be a spellcaster, but forgot to introduce him as it in-game. So, he is a "human" with dormant spellcaster blood - a magicless child of spellcasters. He never knew his family, and doesn't seem to ever recognize that this much magic finding its way to his life is at least concerning.
He and Kaya have a Close family dynamic!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Teenager (closest age to Tween)│ She/Her (?) │ Werewolf
Traits: ❖ Adventurous ❖ Loves Outdoors
Lifestyles: ❖ Outdoorsy ❖ Adrenaline-Seeker
Changes have been common in Kaya's life as of late (or maybe have always been?). Between puberty, her father marrying and having a kid, and... being a furry, apparently(?), it has been certainly a challenge to keep her head above water - and didn't Kaya love challenges. Though the thought of moving to Forgotten Hollow entices her desire to run wild, something about it has making her hesitate. Almost the same feeling she gets around Erza... (is it the fangs? But she doesn't mind Carmillia's fangs...).
Well, it is one more adventure to dive headfirst in!
Gus adopted Kaya when she was a kid, when she was around seven. She doesn't remember her pack bio parents much. But the longing for a strong bond with her loved ones is still there.
(She got lost. But nobody else came searching for her for days. It stings, and its worse to not even know why. They couldn't, they tried and it was too late, she was gone)
Was much more miffed with the though of her dad getting married then having Millia be born. But she is trying, despite it all.
Still is Gustav's pride and joy. He makes sure she knows she is not being replaced, though priorities are changed. All of her colorful style was, in part, influenced by the way her dad picked out clothes for her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Toddler│ She/Her │ Vampire │ Traits: ❖ Charmer
Ah! The new jewel of the family, Carmillia certainly knows how to get a spot in the heart of everyone she meets! She absolutely adores her older sister, most of all, and wants to be just like her when she grows up! (Which... might be difficult, given that Kaya is a wolf, and Millia is a little bat. But not impossible!)
Lucky to not have Gustav's spellcaster blood activated. Vampirism and Magic don't exactly mingle well in babies.
I opted to give her grey eyes to look at least a little alike Gustav. But I do think she looks great with darker eyes, and do believe they could get darker as she ages
Yeah, her name was inspired by Carmilla, one of the og vampires.

lol I’m sure you’re getting a lot of these, but as a once-MCU-only fan turned Marvel-and-DC comics fan, I think I can offer some guidance.
I’m going to answer some of your questions first, then give you some starting point recs.
There are 6 kids that officially have lived in Wayne Manor with Bruce as their parent, Dick, Jason, Tim, Cass, Damian, Duke.
Duke is the only one I’m not sure the status on adoption or not, definitely foster at a point, but his parents are technically alive as far as I know, so not sure the adoption legalities there.
Duke is also the ONLY META in the batfamily.
There are 5 robins, you got that and the order right. But, Jason was actually adopted before Dick was, Dick was adopted as an adult- he was legally Bruce’s ward when he lived in the manor, but lbr they were already father and son then.
Minor qualm but yes, Jason did take a dip in magic water (the Lazarus pit) but technically what brought him back to life was an angry fanboy literally punching the universe to the point where it shattered and Messed Things Up (happy to explain more if you want).
Tim Drake did not begin as an orphan, that is correct, but how he became Robin is actually super fun. He as an 8-year-old discovered the identities of Batman and Robin (he recognized Dick Grayson’s Robin do a move only the Flying Graysons were able to do, and put the pieces together from there). He then saw Batman was Not Doing Well mentally after Jason died (aka becoming more aggressive, caring less about his personal safety, etc.) and decided that “Batman needs a Robin” and volunteered himself.
https://thedirect.com/article/batman-dc-studios-brave-and-bold-movie-heroes
^that could help if you want more in-depth backstories on each member of the family otherwise.
Tim ran WE for some time when Bruce was believed dead, I believe he then became majority shareholder.
Tim, Dick and Jason do not in canon become airheads, and unfortunately Brucie Wayne is more of a fanon thing than a canon thing in the way you are describing it (aka The Superior Way it Should Be in canon). Comic writers treat Brucie Wayne more like an MCU-Tony-Stark-esque playboy.
Cass is the second Batgirl (third if you count Bette but most people don’t), between Barbara and Stephanie. See that link above for more details. She was Black Bat for a time after, and now is Orphan.
The JL actually don’t think Batman works alone! That’s just a fun fanon trope that is not canon compliant.
Yes, any Green Lantern is essentially allergic to the color yellow.
You are so right about the crossovers and You Should Say It.
Tim is Bi!! Iconic and amazing and wonderful of him. Everybody say “thank you, Meghan Fitzmartin.”
The internet is divided because canon is divided. Most will choose to simply ignore bad Batdad, others will argue it’s important to the characters. Personal preference there.
If I’m not mistaken, #OnlyInGotham is a fanon thing.
Sure, I like Australian NYC, but I much prefer New Jersey if it went off the deep end (because Gotham is widely considered to be in New Jersey)
Hit the nail right on the head with Riddler, 10/10.
Batcest can just go away for ever please and thank you.
There’s actually a fascinating history about Deadpool here. Deadpool was created by Marvel in part as a very obvious parody to DC’s Deathstroke. Deadpool is Wade Wilson, Deathstroke is Slade Wilson. I can’t make this up. Comics are awesome.
In the comics, Dick Grayson is primarily associated with Teen Titans, and Tim Drake is primarily associated with Young Justice. Both shows’ original Robins are Dick Grayson, though. (YJ does eventually incorporate the next two Robins as Dick becomes Nightwing).
Batburger is real and canon.
Now for recs:
The most fanon-y way to start is Wayne Family Adventures on Webtoon. That’s how I got started.
To get a more full sense of the DC Universe, watch Young Justice. It deviates a lot from the comics in many respects, but is incredibly comics-accurate in others.
Super Sons is a great comic. It’s about Damian and his best friend Jon Kent, Superboy.
Tom Taylor’s Nightwing is a personal favorite, but wait to start that until you have at least read WFA.
Hope this helps!!
Tumblr media
Oh my god please do I have so many questions
And yes this helped a lot. Do you know where I can watch any of the shows? Bc I know Disney is where u go for marvel, but I've asked around and none of my friends (primarily mcu fans, accept for one singular dc fan who's number I've forgotten) have a clue.

OC asks -> 1, 14, 19 for Raina and Max!
Hi Whimsy! Late but here I am! :3
Tis the prompt list
1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)?
Raina: Her class. I was tempted on a mage, but I had tried playing a mage in Origins with... Failed results. So I went for a Rogue because I liked the armour best. Second thing was the name, "Marian" instantly brought me to Maid Marian (the fox one) and it wasn't the vibe I was going for. I started considering on the letters and Raina came to mind. Max: If I entered Dragon Age with knowledge of what it was about, I was totally in the blank for Mass Effect. The first things were her name (I wanted a nickname from a slightly embarrassing longer name), the class ("I can play an engineer? Cool, that sounds fun!") and I randomly decided she was Italian because I never create italian character and thought it would have been fun to try, for once.
14. If you had to narrow it down to 2 things that you MUST keep in mind while working with your OC, what would those things be?
Raina: 1. Her confidence is a façade, She hides behind humour, and has a VERY low opinion of herself. 2. She is an idealist. She's the chilliest person of the world. Until you step on her ideals. Then you have an enemy.
Max: 1. Music plays a very important part in her identity. She grew up in a family very fond of music: all her songs are there because they're linked to a relative or a memory. You can tell her mood by the song she's playing, and she communicates by sharing songs with you. 2. She firmly believes in hard work and consent. "No pain, no gain" is her motto, when she commits to something she always gives her best, as long as she can have a say in choosing where to commit. (she spent A LOT of Cerberus money on garbage and silly things just to piss TIM off because he took consent away from her. Imagine his face when an expense list came and he found out she spent WAY too many money to buy on ebay a handkerchief that the owner swore belonged to Joey Tempest. Or autentic Bialetti coffee machines, one for each crew members.)
19. What is your favorite fact about your OC?
Raina: She's trash. She knows she's trash and isn't qualified to cover an important position, is just a farm girl with no particular studies or talent save her sarcasm. She doesn't let this stop her: if she can help someone or her family, she will. Or die trying, but Death doesn't want a pet raccoon, so she's still here. Max: Being able to explore a little my origin country and comes to term with it. Italy is wonderful to visit as a tourist! Living here... As most times goes, it's more complicated than it looks. Beside you know. The far-right government. I worked drawing commissions in the Greek Mythology fandom, and let me tell you: researching my own country on anything that isn't the Roman Empire or Pompeii is A NIGHTMARE. No ok even pompeii, I spent three days madly looking for references of a very specific villa there which wasn't one of the hugely famous, I wanted to cry. So yeah, one character that is italian and happy about it (because she never actually lived there, she just has her family pushing on her identity) is nice and is being fun. Beside that: how silly she can be in her relationship with the others. She and Garrus are besties, Grunt is her son, she installed a circuit in Liara's cabinets so every time she opens them "You shook me all night long" starts playing. She's teaching Cortez Italian and learning Spanish from him and James. She tried to convert Mordin to metal and she always answers in a renegade option to Miranda (with time it's out of affection).

Things that went through my mind while watching this episode:
--Ufotable has gotten a feel for this show, and they are leaning into it now with that extensive look at things from the Hand Demon's POV, both in the encounter with Urokodaki and in missing his older brother. It makes the payoff of Tanjiro holding his hand, and the Hand Demon holding Tanjiro's hands, work all the better. Aside from fully developing the bloody carnage the Hand Demon had brought about before Urokodaki trapped him, and they gave us a full fight scene which didn't exist in the manga to show that Hand Demon always had fight in him, and giving us two separate clips of his human self looking for his brother adds to the build-up.
--All the care taken in Tanjiro's expressions... oh my heart. I am falling for this boy and caring about him all over again.
--So that sunrise lighting at the end of the Final Selection? Stunning.
--The lack of Inosuke is so funny to me now. But we all know who really takes the stage in this scene--Genya!! Genya, being a brat! Genya, if Sanemi were ever to find out about how you treated Oyakata-sama's daughter, you're not just losing your eyes.
--Kanata, as we know later, is the most frail of spirit of the Ubuyashiki children, but all of them have wills of steel. Though she didn't show a hint of it, I can only imagine what she was thinking. I also wonder if she was warned, as the Corp does have a lot of rough and unsavory members. That said, the Corp is an organization of demon slayers first and foremost, that is the only goal the need to be united on. We see evidence of moral codes and pride instilled from Cultivators to pupils, but Kagaya himself never sets moralistic standards, and in fact, has probably long instilled in Kanata and the others that they are indebted to the swordsmen who actually kill the demons, while the Ubuyashiki family members themselves are all expendable. It's possible Kanata was warned about the temperament of the people who might gather at the Final Selection.
--And then we've got Kiriya, just like, "if you're done with your drama, can we please move on to more important tasks? Thanks."
--I do wonder what their journey home was like and if they discussed the happenings at all. I hope they shared a giggle about Inosuke.
--Also, CHUNTARO, HIIII
--Tanjiro's reunion with Nezuko & Urokodaki, just as touching as ever. Urokodaki really is so, so proud of Tanjiro, I love how you can feel that in the vocal performance. It is so fun to imagine his smiles behind the mask, and likewise, it is so fun to imagine the excitement in Haganezuka's face as he meets Tanjiro. Oh Haganezuka, I can't wait to see more of you!!
--With Urokodaki's passing comment on how Haganezuka is the same as ever, I must wonder if Urokodaki has known him since he was a child, or perhaps if Haganezuka made Giyuu's sword.
--Also, passing thought while looking at the tamahagane (sword iron) was, "pick whatever you want, Tanjiro, you're just gonna break it anyway."
--Heeey, Satoko, hii--oh, bye

The Titan Trappers heard me talking shit and decided to go out of their way to prove me wrong by eagerly offering their help when Luz & King asked for it. They don’t even know what it’s about, if King needs their help to kick ass, then kick ass they will.
Tumblr media
So there was a catch to that, they have to go ask Titan Trapper’s elder, the wise huntsman Bill. He resides upstairs, is Tarak’s best friend and has, allegedly, met the Grand Huntsman. Who, as it turns out, is not a a demon or member of this clan… no, the Grand Huntsman is a god. Like, an actual god.
This is… this is interesting. I’ve many times called Ymir the god of the people on the Boiling Isles, but that was more in the sense of how Belos used their reverence for Ymir (being that it is the source of life and magic on the Isles) to gain power and control. I have also theorized that Ymir is in some sense still has a will or consciousness. The biggest piece of evidence for this is how Luz was able to find the glyphs relatively easily, the island itself showing them to her, while Philip said the world tried to hide them form him. If that is true, then Ymir could in some sense be considered a god.
But this is different, this Tarak outright calling the Grand Huntsman a god. Which leads to the eternal question; many words and wars have been had over this question. Is this god real?
I dunno. Maybe I’ll find out if I keep watching.
Tumblr media
Between Dora D’Splora pulling a griffin out of the sky in Elsewhere and Elsewhen and King blasting one out of the sky in this one, it seems like someone on the writing team had something against griffins. Is it the spider breath? I bet it’s the spider breath.
Or… I guess Puddles the Griffin was in Any Sport In A Storm… but he did attack Hunter, who is a fan favorite.
Oh, and a reminder that King’s powers are a thing. Are we gonna get to know anything about those? I want more Lore!
Tumblr media
While King is off having fun with his newfound family (well, distant relatives), Luz and Hooty goes to meet with the wise elder Bill. I didn’t spot any doors this fancy downstairs, the rooms were mostly divided by furs, so I think this might be upstairs?
Anyways, the door to Bill’s… office? It’s bigger than the others, indicating his importance. There is also a sun above it, perhaps as the symbol of the Great Huntsman.  The two doors next have moons and stars above them. Representing lesser gods or deities?
Tumblr media
Out of all the things I’ve brought up so far, I can’t believe Flora D’Splora is the one that turned out to be relevant later. There he is, Bill, wearing a large candle on his head, and reading one of the bad girl historians books. It’s a study of the Boiling Isles, which she erroneously refers to as the last Tita. We, the audience, knows this is wrong, because Tarak said that Bill said that the Grand Hunstman said that there is one Titan left.
And this Bill seems like a trustworthy guy, even if his weapons keep falling apart in Luz’ hands.
Back in Eda’s Requiem, when Tarak made his first appearance, we could see him with a scroll watching King’s broadcast. He also had a caravan. So it looks like the Titan Trappers, or at least Tarak make somewhat regular visits to the Boiling Isles, which is probably how they got their hands on this book.

Thess vs Grief
There was an article a few days ago about video games and grief - mostly about how, while gaming’s always been a good way of taking your mind off grief, recently games have actually been actually dealing with the subject as a main part of the plot. Which, because sometimes my brain works like someone bouncing subject to subject via Wikipedia links, brought me to something a good friend of mine said awhile ago. Because given the games I’ve been playing of late, and how much I’ve been enjoying them, a few things are becoming clear.
See, back in December, when we had that cold snap and there was snow and ice on the roads and no one was salting anything? I posted on my Facebook that I was kind of sad about the situation. I was born in Montreal. I learned to walk on ice-slick pavement ... well, at the same time as I was learning to walk at all. That instinct never left me, either. Now it’s just that ... well, unless I want to put some version of mountaineer’s spikes on the foot of my cane, the damn thing would be a liability. I’m not even sure that would work, and certainly wouldn’t be good in places where the ice was thin. Anyway, fibromyalgia means I can’t walk on ice the way I used to, and I definitely couldn’t risk the fall. So I was a little sad about that.
My friend talked about “the folly of comparing ourselves now to ourselves then” and "comparison is the thief of joy” and something about how we’re different and we shouldn’t look at that poorly. And it took awhile to really understand why I was so upset at him about it. I know he meant well, so I didn’t say anything, but after awhile, I figured out the words I needed for this (though far too late to actually call him on it). The words were these:
“Let me fucking grieve, godsdamnit!”
Because I am. I am grieving for what I could do before everything was made of pain. It’s a process. It’s a long, miserable process, but it’s an important one. It’s like losing a friend or a family member - life goes on, yes, but you’re probably going to end up tripping over something that reminds you of the loss at random intervals for the rest of your life. So, yeah, I’m sad when I realise that I can’t walk on frozen streets anymore - not because “I should be able to do this because I have places to be and I’m letting someone down”, but because “That skill is one of the last things that I in and of myself keep from the place where I was born; that’s a piece of of myself that sings of home, and it’s gone and it’s never coming back”.
There are a lot of things that are gone and they’re never coming back. A careless grocery shop where I don’t have to read the labels of every fucking thing that goes into my cart. Day trips to fun parts of the city. Late night walks in the summer to cool down. Running for buses. Conventions (though I will take the risk if the Critical Role crew ever reschedule the MCM Comic Con appearance they had to miss because it was during the early-ish days of Covid). The cinema. Travel to any significant degree. A general sense that I will at least be able to get up and function most mornings. Umbrellas (because holding up an umbrella for any length of time hurts like hell). Boogieing to music on my headphones (unless it’s a very good day). There’s always something I’m finding I can’t do because it hurts too badly to do it, and thus I grieve in small stages over this one huge loss.
So I think games like I Am Dead and Lost Words: Beyond the Page and Spiritfarer helped me because they reminded me that it’s okay to be grieving. There are stages of grief for a reason; they don’t make the grief go away, exactly, but they teach us how to cope with it. Of course, I don’t know that I’ll ever get to the ‘acceptance’ stage, or maybe I’m already there, I don’t know. Just because you’ve accepted the loss doesn’t mean you’re not going to still feel sad or angry or disappointed or all of the above when another facet of that loss comes knocking.
...I guess the only difference is that if it’s a person you’re grieving for, you can say things like, “They would have loved this”, or imagine them watching you from Wherever Comes Next and cheering you on, or something else that lets you still feel close to the person who’s gone. That’s harder to do with ... you know, physical health. Maybe that’s why I started gardening, and being more inventive in cooking, soon after my diagnosis - just to feel closer to “active and abled and Doing Things”, I don’t know. I reap the benefits either way.
Point being ... yeah, most of the time I’m all about, “Yeah, I’m used to it”. But sometimes I’m not. Sometimes I’m angry or sad or asking what I did to deserve this. And that’s probably always going to be the case. But it’s just ... a lot bigger than “comparison is the thief of joy”. Because comparison is not the thief of joy. Even with the fibromyalgia, I look at who I am now compared to who I was ten years ago and I am just ... so much better. But ... I can’t even want “just one day without pain” because I know - I absolutely know - that if I had total relief from pain for one day, that pain would feel worse when it came back. But sometimes I wish for it anyway. I wish it was easier. I wish it hadn’t happened. I have to carry on having a life, obviously, and I do so as well as I can with my current limitations. Hell, in some ways I’m doing better than I was before the diagnosis.
Just ... please never ask me not to be sad about it. I am allowed to be sad about it. And angry. And frustrated. I am grieving, and as long as I’m doing it in a healthy way (which I think I am; I can certainly function, at least), I fucking deserve to grieve. And if some of the help I’m getting to keep the grieving process healthy involves video games? ...Hey, I love video games, so silver lining.
