the moment scaramouche realized he liked you wasn’t anything special.

he didn’t have such a shocking revelation like the ones he’d see in those romance comedy films that you encouraged him to watch with you, nor was he talking to anyone about it when he realized it either. the fact just simply dawned on him, right after a conversation with you that had zero connections to romance in the slightest. that’s when he knew.

the second you left his side when your conversation was over due to an errand you needed to run, it just came to him. a bit strange to think about since things like love never really sparked that much interest for scaramouche. but it was simply how it is.

however, if there’s one thing that scaramouche would never, and he means never, admit to you, it would be the fact that he’s been putting more effort in lately.

whether it's in how he fixes the collar of his uniform a bit more before walking to school or simply how he finally decides to put down that one annoying strand of hair on the back of his head that you always point out because it sticks out, hell, even if he’s been reciting more in class, he’d never admit that he’s been doing this ever since he realized he liked you. and he’d certainly never admit that he’s doing all of this because he wants you to notice it—there’s absolutely no way that you could know! 

(he would very much prefer to die rather than let you know all of this. it would be even worse if he had to admit he’s been doing such things. although this is merely an exaggeration from him, he just doesn’t really want you to know.

but he does have this small desire for you to notice it.)

and yet, even after all of these small efforts that he made just for you to notice him (despite knowing each other well enough to not do these things), scaramouche thinks all of his efforts were just a waste of time as he subtly steals small glances from you from time to time.

he doesn’t know how or when it happened, but since when did you get those earphones? they were a different color now than the last time he saw you wearing earphones. and your eraser is different from the one he used to borrow as well. did the old one perhaps already run out? hold on—why is he thinking of these things anyway? these questions are none of his business! and it’s not like he can use the answers to those in his homework.

slowly but surely, scaramouche thinks he’s going insane.

but for now, this is enough. you don’t need to know that what you do has the ability to drive him insane. you don’t need to know that he’s been putting way too much effort into making you notice him. you don’t need to know that he likes you, at least not yet. so for now, this is enough for him.

to admire you from the distance of your desks is enough.

Im the biggest (one sided) staticradio bitch ever but someone raised the crack theory of Alastor and Vox being actually siblings when they were alive and IM THRIVING sibling dynamics own my entire soul (hehe get it bc /gets shot) ok HEAR ME OUT:

Alastors dad was confirmed to be Caucasian and If I remember correctly there was something kinda confirmed about Vox being white as fuck or something, right??? Okay. Half siblings. Same father, different mothers. Alastor being the product of an affair his father had years before he and his actual wife had Vox, making Alastor his older brother. (I'm thinking an around 10 years age gap ??? maybe ????) Their dad, on Alastors side, appears once every 4-6 months at BEST, mostly to give him and his mother some money solely for the sake of making himself look better and compensate at least a little on his egos behalf for not giving a single fuck. So Alastor doesn't know shit about his father's life even less his whole "other family" thing, neither does he care at all.

The thing is: Vox knows. Imagine a lil 7-8 yo Vox getting curious about where and why his dad does that one trip every 4-6 months, then at some point somehow discovering the "other woman and her son" deal, aka his older sibling. His father never ever mentions anything about it and god forbids trying to ask him, so when he's a little older (around 15 ??) he starts researching, finally finding out about his radio program. Imagine him listening to it out of curiosity ???? Actually liking it and becoming an active listener ????? Maybe getting the inspiration of the informative concept from him and then later wanting to take it to the tv when it got released ???????

Also imagine him later entering hell and HEARING HIS VOICE AGAIN and RECOGNIZING HIM ,

already liking that the characters are more than "the charismatic skater" and "the romantic musician" (sorry Jamal and Ryan) and I think it's probably bc they don't feel isolated from each other. like the guys have personalities that get along or clash with each other too and they show it, and it helps them feel realer than just liking the same girl or whatever

and like that's not to say they tried to give them dimensionality, like you learn about Elliot's quirks and Roberto's family and whatnot but saying something is like half of the journey. like it's cute Alex nerds out on building things but it's a whole other thing that he purposefully stays out of drama and therefore has a better relationship with Raf and also is making sure the guys don't get injured when they're jumping on the beds. like that sort of more dynamic thing is way more fun. meanwhile i couldn't tell you about any of the s6 guys' friendships other than things I've headcanoned and also marshall/ozzy (which is why I think I've started to grown to like marshall after the season is over)
