Hi just wanted to thank you for your wheelchair accessibility post it made me rethink how the office I work in is built and I could bring this subject up with HR. They're working on a plan to implement these changes. Just letting you know you changed a random office and retail store in Buenos Aires and the lives of all our future disabled clients and employees
im literally going to cry im!! im so happy i could change something, that my rambles online are useful and not just throwing words into a void. thank you

hey um. neither of them will ever say anything but qmariana and qcharlie can't comprehend how the other could possibly still love them, after everything. when they're both around, it's like they're magnetically attracted to one another; they still hug and kiss and hold hands and lean against each other and feed into each other's energy (because "you're all I have left" is a mutual sentiment, isn't it?) but they can't understand how the other isn't absolutely disgusted by their presence. I killed our daughter, twice. I tried to hurt so many people. I killed our daughter's best friend in front of her. how could you not hate me? how could you not?

I mentioned this briefly but while Sev asking Voldemort to spare Lily definitely wasn't his finest hour because he was willing to trade her husband and child, I still think it must have taken serious balls to ask voldemort to spare a muggleborn for him. And I've kind of got to admire that haha. While I believe Severus was most likely on an upward trajectory among the DEs during this time due to his skill, I doubt he was inner circle the way Bellatrix or Lucius Malfoy were, he was pretty new and also a poor half-blood with no status-- we know Voldemort coveted markers of pureblood status like heirlooms, and it was Bellatrix and Lucius that he entrusted with his horcruxes. I tend to think Severus was a pretty low-ranking Death Eater, even if he was climbing the ladder (relaying the prophecy can't have hurt, and it seems like voldemort was trying to position him as a spy inside hogwarts, even though he knew that as DADA professor he'd only last a year)
I have to think that Sev knew that asking voldemort of all people to spare a random mudblood, pretty please, for me, was a long shot. He was desperate, and I think he immediately realised that this wouldn't work and went straight to Dumbledore as a contingency plan-- but he had to try all avenues. And I think he was smart enough to realise that "I'm in love with this muggleborn woman pls dont kill her" would not go over well with Voldemort. At best he'd be laughed out of the room, at worst he'd be killed on the spot for possible disloyalty/being a pathetic mudblood simp, rendering him unable to save Lily.
I think Sev was smart enough to know that he had to frame his request in a way Voldemort would understand. I imagine he straight up told Voldemort that he wanted to fuck her and that she had rejected him in school so he wanted a chance to right that "wrong", likely he was pretty disgusting about it just to make it believable. I highly doubt Voldemort would go out of his way to spare anyone even for his closest followers like Bellatrix and Lucius, let alone a muggleborn and a sworn enemy. But we see that he did at least make some effort to comply with Sev's request, which makes me think he was probably amused enough by it to give Sev that little bit of consideration. Framing it as a selfish, purely physical passing fancy (a story Voldemort clearly bought) was really the only option, because if Voldemort thought his servant was actually emotionally attached to Lily that would give him more reason to kill her, not less.
And, inadvertently, Severus asking Voldemort to spare her was what gave Lily the opportunity to choose to sacrifice herself and save Harry. Which is kind of wild. Not that Sev's motivation and methods weren't twisted and selfish, but idk I kind of gotta give credit for the bravery and cunning involved here like it's cold as fuck

And all of trial two has been added to Lights, Camera, Sing Your Sins!!! I hope you enjoy the Deep Cover addition 🐺
Kotoko’s face was somewhere between disgust and disappointment as she watched the prisoners put on the worst performance she’d ever seen.
Fuuta writhed around on the ground, making clawing motions at himself and the floor. He was nudged away by Yuno, who was making odd growling sounds from her hunched over position.
“I think it’s a bit more like,” Kazui clutched at his chest, “like, aaaargh!”
“No, no, you’re doing it all wrong!” Mikoto moved beside him and tried his hand at the scene.
Wanting to be included, Mahiru let out a long howl. Haruka and Muu joined in.
Just because Kotoko had never seen a classic werewolf movie didn’t mean she needed a demonstration, but the others hadn’t really given her a choice. It was necessary preparation, they said. Jackalope had made the mistake of leaving them alone before her filming was set to start, and they jumped at the opportunity immediately.
Kotoko crossed her arms. “Isn’t this all a bit…cheesy?”
Mikoto looked up from where he’d bent himself into an awkward shape. “Cheesy? This is a horror movie staple!”
“Exactly.” She let her gaze drift away from meeting any eyes. “This isn’t meant to be like the movies. This is… this is real.”
While others continued their cries of transformational agony, Mahiru made her way over.
“I understand.”
Kotoko had to hold back a scoff. She was probably the last person here who understood. Mahiru didn’t have a mean bone in her body – there was no way knew what it meant to feel a monster’s worth of violence and anger bubbling up inside of her. She could never know the pain of filming alongside that wonderful young girl, haunted by the fact that she’d cower away if she ever knew the truth. In fact, all of her fellow prisoners would cower away if they knew the violence that had simmered within her all her life.
“It’s fine, Mahiru. I just think everyone should stop fooling around.”
But she would not be deterred. Over her shoulder, Fuuta was encouraging Amane to let out the loudest growl she could. Mahiru was unfazed as held Kotoko’s gaze. “I mean it. I’ve been there. Sometimes, there’s parts of ourselves that get out of control. Things that we see in the movies, and it’s alright there… but in real life…” her smile weakened. “In real life, those parts of us really hurt people. I’m here to tell you you’re not a monster for those things.”
Kotoko gaped at her. If Jackalope wanted a shot of her shocked, he should have kept the cameras rolling.
Before she could muster up any reply, Mahiru grabbed her hand and dragged her forward.
“Now come on, let’s see your cheesiest werewolf acting! Awooooooo!”
