Dark Shadows Chapter 5
"She's a witch?!" Miroku said when Inuyasha told him about Tsubaki. "I always suspected that she was more than what she let on but a witch? Are you sure?"
"Positive." Inuyasha said. "And she's made it her goal to make my life hell. She cursed me to be this monster and then she had me locked away in an underground prison for two centuries! But worst of all...She took Kikyo from me."
"Kikyo? You mean Kaede's ancestor? What does she have to do with Tsubaki?"
"Tsubaki was her servant and she had always hated her. That's why she preyed on me."
"Why you?"
"Because we were in love and we were going to run away together. Start a life together but Tsubaki wanted us both to suffer so she killed her and made me immortal so that we couldn't be together even in death."
"What exactly does she want?"
"I don't know but for now I need to focus on more important things."
"Like what?"
"Well for one thing I need to restore my family business."
"But it's ruined. It's been ruined for years."
"I know that but I'm sure that I can get it up and running again."
The next day Inuyasha went to talk with the most successful merchant in town. He told him that he wanted to hire him to help restore his trading business, promising him a grand payment in exchange but he refused believing that Inuyasha wasn't trust worthy so he had to use some hypnotic puersasion on him. Pretty soon his trading business was starting back up again.
When he wasn't trying to revive his business he was either keeping a close eye on Tsubaki or trying to find out if he could cure himself of the terrible curse he was under. He read in one book about a plant that only grows in graveyards that could possibly break spells cast by witchcraft and devil worship. So one evening he went down to the graveyard to gather some of these said plants. He had just arrived when he spotted Kagome laying flowers on three graves.
"What are you doing here?" He asked her.
"I'm just visiting my family." She said.
"Your family?"
"My parents and my brother Sota. I lost them in a car accident seven years ago."
"I'm sorry." He said. "Are they your only family?"
"Yes. I had no other living relatives so I was placed in foster care but...But that's not where I spent the rest of my child."
"What do you mean? We're you adopted or something?"
"No." She cringed at the horrible memories of her traumatic childhood. It had started just a month after her the accident and suddenly this woman had appeared into her life. This very beautiful but very sad young woman who no one could see. No one except her and then she started talking to the woman. Telling her about herself, what she liked to do, what kind of games she liked to play, what her favorite toys were. Typical things that a little girl would tell people. But no one else could see or hear this woman so when her foster parents saw her talking to something that didn't seem to be there, they thought that she was crazy and sent her away to the local asylum where she spent the rest of her childhood subjecting to painful electric shock therapy.
To this day she still had nightmares and flashbacks to those horrible days. She would have given anything to just forget those awful memories completely.
"Are you okay?" Inuyasha asked noticing the tense and upset look on her face.
"I'm fine." She told him. "Just remembering something bad."
"Like what?"
"I...I'd rather not talk about it."
"Okay."
The two of them stood in silence for what seemed like forever.
"So." Kagome said changing the subject. "What brings you out here?"
"I'm looking for some plants that only grow in graveyards."
"What for?"
"Trading business. These plants are considering very expensive in other countries."
"Well what do they look like? Maybe I can help you find them."
"They're called Yucca. They cover tombstones and look like tall grass."
"Okay."
She started to look around various tombstones in hopes of finding these plants called Yucca.
"Any luck?" He asked.
"No."
"Damn it! They have to grow around here somewhere!"
"Don't get angry, maybe it's not the right season for them."
"Well that's just great! Wonderful! What else can go wrong?!"
"Calm down. So you didn't get a couple plants for a business. I'm sure that you can find other things to trade. Maybe you could try trading some very rare flower seeds."
"Flowers aren't going to solve my problem. Believe me."
"Why not? There are plenty of countries out there where certain flowers never grow and people who would pay a fortune to have them. Like garlands or peonies or cameillas or bellflowers."
"Bellflowers?"
"Yes they're my favorite. When I used to live with my parents, my mother had a garden in our backyard that she filled with many flowers. Her favorite and mine was always the bellflower."
Bellflowers were Kikyo's favorite too. In fact she was named after the bellflower. Inuyasha remembered how on special occasions he would surprise her with a bouquet of bellflowers and she would always light up with a smile when she saw them. Back then whenever he saw a bellflower it would make him so happy because they reminded him of Kikyo. But now that she was gone every time he saw them he felt hurt, sick, and angry. Because now they were a cruel reminder of the woman he loved and lost.
"Inuyasha are you okay?" Kagome asked after he had gone quiet for awhile.
"Yes. I am. It's... It's getting late. I think we should go home."
"Alright."
"I'll walk you there if you'd like."
"I would like that. Very much."
The two walked back to the manor together, neither one of them saying a word until they arrived. Kagome thanked Inuyasha for escorting her home and she went to bed. After that night Kagome started to have strange dreams. Dreams that she had never had before and it was always the same thing. It was about Kikyo.
In the dream Kikyo was always running. Running from something. Fear and terror painted on her face, she was absolutely mortified of something. But what? What was she so afraid of? Where was she running to? And why was she dreaming about Kikyo? In fact why was Kikyo apart of her life in the first place? What did she have to do with her? It was all so confusing. But what confused her the most was what she felt when she was with Inuyasha.
The familiarity she felt whenever she was around him was beyond puzzling. She knew that she had never met him before in her life and yet she couldn't shake the feeling that she had known him all her life. Like he was someone very special to her.
"Is everything alright?" Sango asked Kagome one afternoon when she found the young girl looking off into the distance.
"Yes everything is fine."
"You don't sound like you're sure."
"I guess I'm just tired. A little over worked."
"Sounds like you could use a break. Why don't you and go out."
"Oh no I'm not much of a party girl."
"Oh we won't do anything crazy. We'll just go out to eat and talk."
"I don't know."
"Trust me you'll have a good time and we might even catch a few eyes."
"You mean...Men?"
"Yes."
"I'm embarrassed to say this but I've never had a relationship with a man before and I don't know the first thing about flirting."
"Don't worry about that. We're just going to go out, eat, talk, and have a good time. You know fun stuff."
"Okay."
Poor Kagome couldn't remember the last time she ever did anything fun. She was a little nervous about going out with Sango but she ended up having a fun time. The two women talked, ate, and drank at a restaurant that did dinner theater. The production was one that made the two girls laugh and cry.
"That was a great show." Kagome told Sango as they drove back to the house.
"I thought that you would like it. So do you feel better?"
"A lot better. Thank you."
"No problem. So did any men take an interest in you?"
"No. None at all."
"Don't worry your time will come. So far I've got two men pinning after me."
"Really?"
"Yes. I haven't decided which one of them I want yet."
"Well which one of them do you love?"
"I don't know. It's so hard to choose."
"I wish I had that kind of luck with men."
"Be patient and don't rush it. Trust me, you'll catch a man's eye eventually."
"I doubt it but if you say so. That aside thanks again for taking me out I really had a good time."
"Sure thing."
Kagome was happy that she had made a friend.

Chance
Pairing: Alex Summers x female!SO
Summary: Alex has been having nightmares ever since he’s returned from war. One night it goes out of hand.
Warnings: it’s angsty, but it ends well, so I think we’re clear
Word count: 1574
A/N: Literally no one asked for this, but I rewatched X Men recently and my heart had no peace until I wrote this.
Tumblr media
She knew it wouldn’t be easy after war. She knew that having Alex back would not be as wonderful as it sounded.
She thought she was ready; she kept telling herself to low down the expectations, not to expect anything, in fact; turned out, no matter how much you understood, you were destined to go the hard path, because there was such thing as an “easy” one.
First few days, she had difficulties believing she wasn’t dreaming. She was sinking in euphoria, this almost hysterical happiness when you occasionally forget how to breathe just realizing that a person who you’ve waited for for three years is finally here, falls asleep and wakes up beside you, talks to you, looks at you, eats with you, exists in the same space as you.
She felt like she was going insane; she kept bursting into happy tears from everything: when she saw his toothbrush on the sink. When she heard his footsteps around the house. When she realized she had to crack not two, but four eggs and get two plates instead of one.
But happy tears turned into sad tears very quickly.
Alex wasn’t the same. She understood and tried to be there for him, but he kept closing up from her, walking away, pretending he is fine. His side of the bed at night was almost always empty, he rarely smiled, rarely talked. Alex wasn’t the same and she ached. Not for herself, but for him. Because she knew how hurt and traumatized he was, and the fact that she couldn’t do anything to make him feel any better was tearing her apart.
Whenever he actually went to bed with her, he didn’t sleep. Nightmares chased him, keeping him in constant terror, leaving him restless, with sweat dripping from his face and with his body shaking. She was always there to calm him down, but he would just shortly apologize for waking her up and leave to seat on the couch in the living room until dawn.
This night wasn’t an exception. She woke up from audible mumbling and movement beside her. She sat up and looked at Alex, her heart instantly shrinking from the view: his brows were furrowed, hands clenched in fists. He was shaking his head, muttering something incoherent.
She gently put her hands on his shoulders.
“Alex,” she whispered, her voice soft and gentle, “honey, wake up.”
Her call made no effect. She slowly crawled on top of him, cupping his face.
“Alex, please, wake up,” she said, now louder. Still nothing.
Meanwhile, Alex’s movements became rougher, his whole body was now moving side to side. He raised his voice, his breath fastened. She was starting to panic.
“Alex, I beg you, please, wake up.”
She suddenly felt heat growing in his stomach. The bedroom was slowly lightening up from the glow coming from his body. Her body tensed up. She wanted to call his name again when a ray of energy bursted out of his chest. She barely managed to evade, falling back her elbows. The ray went straight up, breaking through the ceiling with a crash, pieces of paster and wood falling on the bed. Dust overflew the room. Her lungs started to feel scratchy and she closed her mouth, coughing blinking rapidly.
Only then did Alex wake up, jumping on the bed. His eyes were round and his breath was heavy, like he just ran a marathon. He threw a quick glance at his chest, seeing a hole in his t-shirt. His eyes grew even wider and his face shrouded in horror as he raised his eyes and locked them with hers. She quickly snapped out of it, pushing herself towards him in a rush to calm him down.
“Alex, I’m fin-“
“I almost hurt you,” his voice was low and quiet. She felt her heart shrink again.
“You didn’t. I’m completely fine. Baby, I’m fine,” she kept repeating, trying to get closer to him. As soon as her hand reached his, his body flinched and he quickly got up. He was mortified.
“Stay back,” his voice was shaking, “stay back before I hurt you again.” She felt a lump in her throat. Gulping, she tried to make it go away, but it only got worse.
“You won’t. Alex, you won’t.” Now her voice was shaking. She was trying to sound calm, but it wasn’t working. “Please come back here, I-“
“I’m going to a motel,” he blurted out, grabbing a random t-shirt from the wardrobe and walking outside the room. Her face dropped.
No.
No no no.
She’s losing him. Right now, she is losing him and she is about to lose him for good. She rapidly jumped out of the bed, almost falling down, and ran outside. By this time his was already downstairs, putting his shoes on. His movements were sharp and hasty, he really wanted to leave before she had the chance to stop him. She could not let that happen. As Alex grabbed the door handle, she smashed her body into his, wrapping her hands like roots around his torso. He took her hands in his and tried to move them away.
“Let go,” he says, trying to sound as cold as possible, but his voice is yet breaking.
“No,” she refuses, pushing her body into his back.
“Let go of me. I cannot stay here.”
She is silent. He clenches his jaw.
“Let go.”
She doesn’t move.
“Let go!” He yells. It’s what he wanted it to be. But it comes out as a sob, and he feels that he is loosing control. “Don’t you understand?! You’re not safe with me!”
“You’re not safe by yourself!” She yells back. Alex tenses up. Her voice is falling apart and he can feel her tears soaking into his t-shirt. “You’re in constant, non-ending pain and it’s eating you alive and you just wanna walk away with it?! So what? So it suffocates you? So I lose you after having you back? So these three years of hell are for nothing? I will not seat back and watch as you destroy yourself!”
She sobs, catching her breath. He loosens his grip on her hands, but doesn’t let go. For a moment, there’s complete silence.
“Talk to me,” she whispers. “God, just—please, talk to me.”
“I don’t know how!”
Alex’s body starts to shake and he realizes he can’t control himself anymore.
The sounds he makes are so broken, so desperate. He sobs, loudly, slowly falling on his knees and gripping the fabric of his sweatpants until his knuckles turn white.
“I just—there’s so much I want to say—so much in my head, but it just won’t go out!”
She moves around him without letting go and leans against the front door, pulling him towards her, burring his face in her chest. He grabs her everywhere he can, holding onto her for dear life and he cries. He cries out everything he had inside him for this whole time, bottled, hidden. She silently cries with him. Her tears are dropping on his hair. They cry together, holding each other as if it the last time they ever will.
It seemed as they sat like this forever. Even when the sobbing stopped, they just sat there, in a tight embrace, calming their breaths.
“You know,” she broke the silence wit a soft whisper, “when I saw you at the door back then... I thought I would pass out. I couldn’t breathe. Seeing you in person, feeling your presence... I was going insane. At same time,” her fingers started to slowly move through his hair, “i was the happiest I’ve ever been. Ever.”
Alex slowly shifted, readjusting himself in her arms so he can see her face. His eyes were red and puffy, just like hers. They both silently chuckled, realizing how ridiculous they two must look right now. Then his smile faded and he looked down.
“Without you.. I wouldn’t have made it.”
“But I was here.”
“Yes. And also here,” he looked back at her, pointing a finger to his temple and then moving it to his chest, “and here.”
She smiled and Alex felt his eyes watering again.
“I’m sorry. For everything.”
“There’s nothing to be sorry for.”
“Hell yeah there is. I almost hurt you. I almost the most important relationship of my life, I—“
“You apologize one more time and I’m gonna break your nose. I dare you, Summers.”
He chuckled. “I probably deserve it.”
“You are my everything, Alex. And you’ve been through literal hell. And it’s a miracle that you’re here in my arms right now. But you are. You have every right to act however you want, to ask for whatever you need. But there’s one right you don’t have, and it’s having all the pain to yourself. We got this rare chance to have each other, a chance that so many people don’t get. And I don’t want us to waste it.”
He sighed and cupped her cheek with his palm.
“I don’t want that either.”
She leaned into his touch. He smiled softly, bringing her closer to him and covering her lips with his. And it finally feels right.
He touched her forehead with his, closing his eyes, finally feeling at ease.
“I love you more that anything else.”
She took her hand in hers and brought it to her lips.
“I love you too, Alex. The most.”

Talking Topics with Taika - Episode 1: DWD
[spoof interview show with call-in listeners and guests]
[Author's Note: This was originally written in 2014 as a script for an audio series. I wrote two episodes but was unable to continue the project. This is the re-written version, with visual descriptions added as needed. It reads sort of like a script. Just imagine this as a televised talk show with guests seated on a stage, in front of a studio audience.]
Taika: Welcome, viewers. You may have heard of DUI and DWI, but there is a new and equally disturbing kind of distracted driving that is killing hundreds in our nation every year. This deadly habit has been dubbed DWD - Driving While Dining. Tonight, we will speak with people who have committed DWD. These brave souls are here to share their tragic stories and relive the pain of those events in the hopes that others will not make the same mistakes they did. Please welcome to the show: Candy Chianti from Oatmeal, Texas; Toffee Bellini from Cookietown, Oklahoma; and Frank Furter from Sandwich, Massachusetts. Welcome, each of you.
Candy: Thankies, Taika! It's awesome to be here!
Toffee: Thank you so much Taika. This is wonderful!
Frank: Thanks, Taika!
Taika: Driving While Dining seems to have become quite popular recently, in spite of the fact that it is difficult to drive properly while eating a meal. Miss Candy, you actually got into a car accident while committing DWD, correct?
Candy: I did!
Taika: I'm sure it must be a very painful memory for you--
Candy: Yah~~
Taika: --but would you share your story with us, so we may all learn from your experience?
Candy: Okay! So, I went to Burly Burger and ordered a order of Chocolatey Beef Bites with a extra icing cup and a malted beef broth milkshake with strawberry topping. And I, like, usually don't eat when I drive, but the Beef Bites smelled so good and my stomach started, like, totally eating itself, so I was driving down Main Street and opened the Bites, but they're not that good without icing, so I put my hand in the bag to get the icings, but they weren't in there!
So, I got really mad and forgot I was driving and I was, like, cussing and stuff 'cause I was hungry and I rear-ended some 86-year-old old guy cuz he was at a red light...
And he would of been okay, 'cept he was eating in his car, and I guess he, like, inhaled 'cause I hit him, and he totally choked to death on one of those nasty hash browns from Patty's Potato Lodge! I mean EW!! Those are gross!!
And, like, I regret that morning every day of my life... because my Beef Bites fell on the floor when I rear-ended that old guy, so I couldn't eat them, and they cost me, like, five dollars!
Taika: So, out of all of that morning's events, you most regret not getting to eat the Beef Bites?
Candy: [Softly crying and sniffling] It's, like, totally sad. I'll never get that five dollars back.
Toffee: [Clears her throat loudly, speaks sadly] I feel for you dear. That's a very distressing story, but I'm afraid mine is far, far worse.
Taika: Ms. Toffee, do you feel comfortable sharing your story with us?
Toffee: [Suddenly very cheerful] Oh, gladly!
Taika: [Surprised at Toffee's change in demeanor]
Toffee: The fateful day was nearly one year ago. I went to my favorite restaurant -- Bread Breakfast Bread -- they only sell breakfast sandwiches there, and they are positively exquisite!
I wanted to try their Sloppy Syrup Sausage Sandwich. It's crumbled breakfast sausage drenched in authentic maple syrup between two slices of freshly baked and toasted cinnamon raisin bread!
Candy: Oh my gaw! That sounds really good!
Frank: Mmm~~~~hm!
Toffee: Doesn't it? And it tastes even better than it sounds! After I picked up one for me and a few for the ladies at the office, I continued my commute. I resisted the urge to eat until I was at a red light - because as everyone here knows, it's very reckless to eat while driving--
Frank: [Nodding] It sure~~ is.
Candy: [Nodding] Yah~~
Taika: [Looks at Candy as if she doesn't believe she just said that]
Toffee: --So, I had the sandwich in my hand, held tightly because it was loaded with syrup and sausage, and there must have been some sort of mime convention in town because -- and I am not lying -- a parade of mimes started walking down the crosswalk in front of my car, but they didn't just walk! They mimed as if they were pulling ropes or rowing boats or being blown across the road by the wind!
Candy: [Laughs]
Frank: Sounds like quite a show!
Toffee: Yes! And I was so mesmerized that I loosened my grip on the sandwich and all of that boiling-hot syrupy sausage fell right into my lap!
Candy: [Gasps] Oh no!
Toffee: I was wearing shorts that day, so I was burned instantly! It was so painful and before I knew it, my car had shot forward and taken out several mimes!
I didn't know people could die so quietly! Those mimes were so dedicated to their art! There wasn't so much as a peep out of any of them!
[Sadly] It was so horrible...so~~ horrible...
[A little angry] ...when the police confiscated my sandwiches!
Frank and Candy: [Gasp in unison]
Candy: Why did they confiscate them?!
Toffee: The officer said they were evidence!
Frank: [Stroking his beard and pondering] How can sandwiches be evidence?
Toffee: [Upset] I don't know!
Candy: [Sighs sadly] You're right, Toffee, that's way worse than my story!
Toffee: [Giggles] I told it so, dear!
Taika: Why are you bragging about it?
Toffee: [Clueless, absent minded, innocent look]
Taika: [Breathes deeply and regains her composure] Did any of the people you hit with your car survive?
Toffee: Oh, I don't know. I was too traumatized to check up on them.
Taika: Wouldn't the people that you ran over be more traumatized than you were?
Frank: [Nods sagely and interrupts] Mmm~~ yes, I can see how that would traumatize anyone! But now it's time for my terrible tale. You three ladies may want to sit down for this!
Taika: Thank you for the warning, Mr. Frank. Please continue.
Frank: Thank you! There was once a legendary sub sandwich: the lobster, abalone, and Italian white sturgeon caviar-filled Limited Edition '14 Karat Super Sub'!
Toffee: [A little glittery-eyed] 14 Karat?
Frank: [Proudly] The sauce had edible gold in it.
Candy: That must'a been, like, totally expensive!
Frank: 100 dollars a sub! And I bought 12 of them, for myself and my co-workers. Gotta keep the co-workers on your side, right? That day, I cruised down the street with the windows down and a big bag of those babies on the front passenger seat of my SUV. I was eating one, too -- a little too quickly -- and I started to choke on it.
I needed to drink something but couldn't put the sub down because it would ruin my new upholstery, so I ducked down for just a second to drink from the straw in my soft drink in the cup holder. When I sat back up, my SUV was heading straight toward a lightpole, so I jerked the wheel to avoid it, but I was carrying a load of bricks on the roof, and the sudden movement caused the vehicle to flip.
Candy: [Gasps]
Toffee: Oh my!
Frank: The bricks broke loose and flew in all directions. The SUV rolled several times and my bag of subs flew out the window!
Candy: [Gasps louder]
Toffee: You're kidding!
Frank: Later, I found out that my SUV had rolled through a puppy adoption fair that some 1st graders were holding on the sidewalk and had crushed uh...[Counts them off on his fingers] three dozen 6- and 7-year-olds, some puppies, a few teachers, and a couple stuffed animals.
Taika: Why mention the stuffed animals?
Frank: But worst of all, that was the last day they were serving those limited edition subs! You can't get them anywhere anymore! And they were so delicious!
Toffee: [Sobs into a hankerchief] That's horrible! Absolutely mortifying!
Candy: [Crying loudly] And those poor subs flew out the window and probably got crushed! Just thinking about all that wasted caviar...!!
Toffee: [More sobbing] ...the lobster!
Frank: [Crying loudly] Fresh...caught...abalone!!
Taika: [Completely dumbfounded at her guests] I apologize for interrupting, Mr. Frank, but did you say that your DWD accident resulted in the deaths of several innocent children, school teachers, and puppies?
Frank: [Sadly] Right. And a couple stuffed animals.
Taika: [Shifts her eyes in annoyance at the mention of the stuffed animals] ...Yes...Well, with that being the case... [Leans in and slightly reprimanding and a little disgusted] Are you honestly mourning the loss of seafood right now?
Candy, Toffee, Frank: [Stare at Taika for a moment, then, in unison start nodding their heads matter-of-factly and talk on top of each other]
Toffee: [Her mascara is running] Yes. It's just such a tragedy.
Candy: [Hand over her mouth, crying]
Frank: Of course! It was 1200 dollars worth, Taika. Seafood doesn't just grow on trees, ya know. [Shakes his head at her as if she's hopeless]
Taika: [Highly annoyed] Well...thank you for enlightening me... and my thanks to each of you for bravely sharing your harrowing experiences with our viewers.
To end today's show, is there anything else you would like to say about Driving While Dining? Perhaps some words of caution?
Miss Candy, do you have anything to share?
Candy: [Suddenly brightens up] Oh, totally! [Turns to the camera and smiles broadly] Okay, listen up. If you're gonna eat when you drive, set your food out on the passenger's seat before you leave the parking lot and always make sure the drive-through person gave you icing cups!
Taika: Okay... Ms. Toffee, do you have a word of caution for our viewers?
Toffee: I have a great one! [Clears her throat and continues sagely] When you really think about it, mimes aren't very interesting, so keep your eyes on your sandwich and your foot on the brake, and you'll avoid any mime-related incidents.
Taika: I don't think mimes were the problem in your case...
Toffee: What do you mean?
Taika: ...nevermind. I'm a little afraid to ask, but Mr. Frank, do you have any words?
Frank: It's okay to be afraid, Taika. This is a terrifying subject!
Frank: But, cheer up, because my words of wisdom are about to blow you away! [Takes a big, dramatic breath] Every vehicle should come with a sub sandwich holder -- standard!
Candy: [Nodding] That's a good idea!
Toffee: I would petition for that!
Frank: And...!
[Candy and Toffee lean in to hear him better]
Frank: If you're carrying a load of bricks on top of your SUV, it's probably a good idea to put them in a bag or something!
Taika: That makes sense, surprisingly.
Candy: [Nods, mesmerized] Ohh~~
Toffee: Very profound!
Frank: And~~~!!
Toffee: [Stares expectantly] There's more?
Frank: [Loudly, looks into the camera] Hey~~ kids! If an SUV comes barrelling towards you, move out of the way, or Santa Claus won't bring you any presents this year!
Taika: [Fuming with anger]
Candy: [Applauding] Oh my gaw! That's so epic!
Toffee: [Applauding] I think my brain is about to explode!!
Taika: [Yells with frustration] Alright!! [Catches herself and mostly recovers but speaks sarcastically] Those are great safety tips!! But unfortunately, that's all the time we have for today!
Candy: But, I didn't get to tell you about the Soggy Cereal incident!
Frank: It couldn't be as devastating as my story, but please tell it.
Toffee: I want to hear it too, dear!
Candy: [Starts telling her story, which is soon drowned out by the ending theme music] Okay, so~ I was riding a scooter thingy and I had a bowl of milk and cereal in my lap, trying to eat it, you know, but this car, like, totally cut in front of me and...
Taika: [Stomps off stage, alone, before the lights fade out]
