Puppy Fever, pt. 1

I just have a cold, but I woke up aching and foggy, barely able to manage texting Daddy for help. Daddy appeared quickly, with a warm milk drink for me to wake up with. * Ramshackle has officially been taken over by the sheer amount of living beings raiding the place every week. Yuu's beast tamer aura is similar to Silver's D*sney Princess animal abilities, except ten times worse, and they can't stop finding a new nest and/or burrow of some random animal family.

* The Ghost trio living there have basically become the housekeepers and have to constant kick out critters and students before they end up cramming up the dorm. That, or breaking the rickety old floorboards from the amount of them.

* Not everyday you get to have some time to touch any new animal (or person), so Yuu went along with it. Come to the Ramshackle dorm if you want pettings AND a free therapy session. All profits go to the Ramshackle dorm. (And Grim's premium tuna bill!)

May they be blessed with infinite mushrooms and an ungodly amount of shrimp dishes. Rook would go to Ramshackle to fawn over the many critters (And possibly bother Leona and Ruggie if they're nearby) although he usually ends up terrifying everyone there. * Ignihyde is crying, my guy. Why does Yuu always waltz in with strangers and wild animals in tow??? Idia, however, is also taking advantage of Yuu's passive skill of beast tamer! Technically, if Idia ranks up his friendship with Yuu, shouldn't that mean his rate of pulling a few cats and dogs go up? The pros of dealing with one person to get his furry euphoria versus the cons of social interaction and social anxiety... He's in a dilemma, but Ortho is happy. Big brother is trying to get a friend! Uh, somewhat.

* Diasomnia has a bad case of bird nests tucked in every corner of the dorm. Both Silver and Yuu are the cause of this, but how could Lilia scold them? His son and the prefect look very peaceful as they hand feed little woodland critters together. Sebek interrupts this, of course. Will Yuu pet the half-fae lad to calm him, and will it work? Depends on if you think being half-fae counts. Malleus is one happy dragon faerie though! That's all that matters. Him and his super cool other-wordly, technically alien, human best friend have chats over tea, and Sebek can't do a single thing about it. (Added note: Lilia includes soft vampire papa hugs if you'd like that)

+ Ramshackle extra. Yuu buried in a pile of their first-year friends. Just buddies in a cuddle pile with sweet baby Grim in the middle. That's it. There's nothing else other than love and peace in the pile 😎 I just wanted that in your mind.

I thought the room across mine was emptied. But it looks like someone moved in today. I'm not sure what her name is. But she wears a green dress. (Let me nickname her "dress")

Whatever, I'm not here to talk about my new neightbor. I'm here to talk about my childhood. I kinda grew up with moms healthy cooking. She used to minimize the sugar in recipes. She was against sweeteners. We would rarely buy junk food. We would rarely eat out. (It might be because of my dad's obsession with saving money.)

I'm not mad at her for doing that. Since I'm not used to eating out it doesn't seem appetizing to me. I can save money. he-he. And I do really love greens. Not all of them of course. But I like broccoli, spinach etc. (I never met I child that likes spinach.) It's a great thing. I don't have to worry about if I eat enough veggies.

But I also turned against mum. Cuz I started buying sweeteners. Drinking energy drinky and coke. (Which is a big no-no for her) She didn't make any comments about it. I'm happy about it.

Thinking back the only comments she made in the last year was "Gosh, all your pants are falling down. You should gain some weight." and "Are you gonna get full with that?".

Well, I guess that was all for today.

ox updates

i'm writing to you from a lecture room in the basement of the maths institute building... in oxford university! there's a separate summer geometry program going on here and i wish i had the balls to get some of their goodies, like the notebook at the front table. i felt a little bit anxious about being in a space that i didn't know well (i kept on walking back and forth in the halls) around a large group of predominantly dudes. but oh well.

here's a rundown of the last week:

sunday: did castle rock with az; super fun talkies and smokies

monday: july 4th! didn't celebrate at all, just packed

tuesday: flew from sf to atl (during the flight, i read half of children of blood and bone), took the marta to doraville and was hosted by the lovely jc and her fun parents.

wednesday: for the day, i just napped. at night, jc took me and this other family friend dude to ponce city market! we ate indian food and had a few drinkies.

thursday: jc and i got a fun brunch, and then she dropped me off at a hotel near the atl aquarium. here i started the summer program: we had lunch and then went a nearby hbcu in the evening

friday: the summer program had a full day at the hbcu. there were talks: long talks, research talks, short breakout panels. i learned: "academia will never treat you like a full human. only industry will"

saturday: in the morning, i went on a little solo date to the aquarium. so fun! peeked inside a waffle house. then we went to the airport, where i called hz and ate fried rice.

the plane ride: oh this was so terrible it started saturday evening and finished in the middle of the night (by EST) or in the morning (in the UK)

sunday: i spent 2 hours checking in because there are no elevators in the college i'm staying at and my stupid room wouldn't open so i walked back to the lodge (front of the college) and had to sort that out. brought my luggage up and down too many flights of stairs. then "brunch" at 2pm, a TOUR OF THE COLLEGE at 4pm (i was super mad about not having time to rest), and then dinner. then, sp and er came over and we chatted until 12.

monday: today!!!

a weekend to remember

eijirou pack every necessities, meaning food first. he was the only one up, which meant he had to wake up the both of you, he knows it's hard for him to, but he doesn't mind. katsuki grip your waist hard, needing the warmth from you, for eijirou he really didn't have to wake the both since you couldn't hold your excitment about the snowy days ahead. "Kat, get up, we have to pack still" you mumble out.

he groan and shook his head. you knew his stubbornness will not let him get up "hey lovebugs, get up" eijirou said kissing katsuki's temple "I'm already up, I'm trying to get thi-" katsuki groan and turn away from your warmth and into eijirou's chest. "someone is acting baby-ish today, isn't he?" eijirou ask, you both giggled, katsuki end up getting up "I'm surprised you two asses are up this early" he said checking his phone. "well it's the day before Christmas eve, and we're excited, now come on, I made breakfast and pack the necessary things" eijirou grab the small travel bags that were halfway filled. "by necessary things, you meant food huh?" katsuki ask still getting up.

Christmas Eve [ at the cabin ]

the ride to the cabin was long, but worth the trip. katsuki's parents decorated and stock up the place, since it was their cabin, he made sure his parents left. the boys wrap their presents peacefully in different areas, while you started to cook, since you wanted them to try something from where your from.

as the night came through the table was set with your favorite dish from where you were from, it was special because you shared it was your first Christmas with your love birds. "oh my god" you back up to see both boys smiling on the floor. "okay okay, this has to be eijirou's idea" eijirou shook his head "I was gonna gift you a ring, but kat over here said it needed to be special and memorable, so he basically did everything" you smiled, and kiss both of them, making sure katsuki was first.

they open theirs from you and smiled at them, eijirou got a new limited edition of crimson riot figure and katsuki got the last matching pair of bears, the white ones.

Christmas Morning

you were up first, like a child, you hop up and down on the bed where your boyfriends peacefully alseep. after all presents were open and all the paper were thrown, there was on last gift, a small box. eijirou grab the box
