I absolutely love Isabella’s slope. I watched her do it at nycda and I compared it to her first run last year. She has grown tremendously and it seems as though she is really trying to portray a story instead of just doing a bunch of delicate movements one after the next to classical music. It couldn’t have been easy since she is such a hard hitting dancer and really only use to Timmy contemporary which doesn’t require a lot of raw emotion. I’m not criticizing his choreography I love a lot of his pieces but I have noticed that many of his dances just has the dancer keeping a steely look on their face(that’s the best I can describe it). Slope wasn’t all that cohesive back in November which caused some awkward spaces but wow her newest go of it was amazing. I think there is a lot of critique on this solo due to it not rly being the typical btf contemporary. It’s a lot more balletic and requires extremely organic emotions and story telling and it relies heavily on technique. I know this is a lot to say about just one dancers solo, but I wanted to highlight how huge Isabella has grown under west side and to show how slop has helped her improve so much as a dancer. It’s quick for people to judge something that they are not use to and that’s ok and normal, but at the end of the day it is just a twelve year olds solo. Congrats Isabella on your growth!!

Dark Horse

Who are your dark horses for this season?

A lot of people assume TDA Vegas top 3 will include Sylviewinn, Savannah and Stella. Im surprised that I havent seen Lucias name mentioned much. I think Lucia should definitely be in there. Perhaps even as a frontrunner. But I am also surprised that I havent seen anyone really talk about Madisyn Amos. She was top 10 last year and is only getting stronger. She also had a top 3 finals solo last year which proved she can do more than just jazz.

I think the juniors need to look out for Mika Takase. She is my dark horse this season. Not for best dancer. Just as someone who I dont htink a lot of poeple are looking out for. Mika had a good season last year but came out swinging this year with wins over some top contenders. I think Anita Rodriguez will surprise some people in Orlando. I think Stars has a shot at having a first year Junior take teh title two years in a row.

Sylvester Hayes (Sylvie, Syl)

Sylvester is a 21 y/o moth person! His birthday is Feb 14. He’s very kind and affectionate, but bashful and fearful. He likes gardening, cooking, pretty lights, and sweets :)

Sylvester also happens to have magic; light/energy magic.

Damon Barclay

Damon is 30 y/o and works as a vigilante. He’s quiet and supportive, but is very secretive. He likes nature! His birthday is July 30.

is almost finished, and before it gets posted I would just like to put out a warning for this story! I do intend for it to be a pretty dark story, with some scene that’s could be triggering, and uncomfortable for readers. To Be Forgotten gushing: Absolutely CHILLING. And not just because it’s set in northwest Hyrule! I’ve written the champion’s deaths but I never thought about the decomposition of their bodies and GOD BLESS YOUR MORBID MIND FOR DOING SO. The champion’s deaths are already tragic as it is but this adds a whole new layer of a lost legacy that makes it all the more sad. Mipha and Daruk’s tribes were able to capture a likeness of their fallen heroes even amidst the fallout of a disaster, but for the Rito and the Gerudo those faces are gone. Sorry I’m gushing. ALSO HOW THE RITO PROBABLY ARE ASSUMING THE CHAMPION REVALI IS MUCH OLDER AND SO IT COULDN’T POSSIBLY BE THIS KID BECAUSE HYRULE WOULDN’T HAVE DONE THAT I–. I’m talking too much, aren’t I?
