Bonne année 2023 ! Et pour bien commencer je vous partage donc un gros projet qui me tenait à cœur, trois dessins en un pour raconter l'histoire de mon personnage Okoh dans les grandes lignes avec son fils Oz ! Je suis particulièrement fière de mon travail ce coup ci ! Aussi, pour 2023, des changements seront à venir, je rejoins Tumblr, je continue les live des Samedi sur Twitch, j'ai mis en place un Trello pour les informations et le suivi des Commandes, et ce ne sera que le début de mon projet d'étendre mon travail sur plusieurs plateformes pour me professionnaliser ! En espérant continuer de produire plus et de m'améliorer encore en dessin ! 😘

Let's Do The Time Loop (Again) - Seven of Nine/Raffi Musiker, Agnes Jurati/Borg Queen

A/N: Here's Part 1 of 2 for today's prompts from @startrekfemslashweek.

“Aren’t you bored?” Agnes asks the question lightly, knowing the Queen, her precious Queenie, will take it as she means it. A simple question. Not an attack. “How long have they been in that time loop?” “A day…. Three for them.” Raffi is, as usual, pacing. She’s figured it out, she thinks. This time when Seven pushes her away she fights back, tangles her hands into tough leather and pulls, kissing Seven hard, almost brutally rough, passionate as ever. “I’m not giving up on us.” Seven, this time, is speechless. She’d expected none of this. Time loops were not unusual for her but the constant retreading had made her sure all that would happen is Raffi pushing her away the same way she has every time.  Raffi’s eyes flicker with something close to pain and Seven can’t stop the low growl that escapes her as she pulls Raffi closer, finally, finally, letting herself want this. “Now they can leave…” Queenie’s voice is soft and Agnes shakes her head with a wry laugh. “For such a badass borg…. You’re incredibly romantic.” “Mmm, thanks to you.” Queenie’s smile is light, almost tender and Agnes smiles, stepping willingly into her Queen borg tentacles, melting a little at the brush of a tentacle against her lips, kissing it gently. “I love you too Queenie.”

I did not put together a post for War of 1812 Wednesday in a timely manner, but while it's still Wednesday and the 14th of December in my timezone: it's the 208th anniversary of the Battle of Lake Borgne! A British victory for the Royal Navy in Louisiana, although the subsequent Battle of New Orleans didn't go so well on land.

Sir Alexander Cochrane (uncle of Lord Thomas Cochrane) was in charge of the British fleet, but mostly I remember the Battle of Lake Borgne for a lieutenant of HMS Bedford who was wounded in the action: John Franklin.

A lot of War of 1812 connections for the 1845 Franklin Expedition: Franklin himself, a veteran, and HMS Terror (which bombed Stonington, Connecticut amongst other places during the conflict).

The other officers and crew of the Franklin Expedition were much too young for the War of 1812, but if you look into their service records you can find a few degrees of separation. Henry TD Le Vesconte served on HMS Endymion (1797) as a midshipman—the same ship that defeated USS President in the War of 1812. Graham Gore was on HMS Albion, once Sir George Cockburn's flagship in the Chesapeake Campaign of the War of 1812.
