Gasshpon Vacation
---
Is it really the holiday season without family drama
It's almost Christmas time in Mt Komorebi and the long-estranged son of the Shin family has returned with his family in tow.
Yuri, the eldest of the grandchildren, watches as the tension between her uncle Yejun and grandfather unfolds.
---
I had been wrapping up a special holiday edition of “How to Spice Up Your School Uniform” try-on haul Livestream when I heard the doorbell ring and saw the unread message on my phone.
[Seohyun] Lookout. Dad and I are inbound. See you in 10!
“Shibal (씨발/Fuck),” I swore under my breath, quickly ended the stream and threw on something reasonable. To make a three-generational story short, my Uncle Yejun is the blackest of black sheep in our very traditional Korean family. Granted there are a few (I'm not the snowest white there is and my cousin Youngsol the snowboard model is no angel either) but my Uncle Yejun really pissed off my halmi and halbi (grandma and grandpa for you westerners).
My family is the founder of WestEnd Co; one of the leading export businesses in all of Japan. Yep, that WestEnd Co. The one that you order all of your books, electronics, and upgrade parts from online. Who do you think sends out all the free Hitz Earbuds? Anyway, WestEnd Co has been a family-run business for almost 75 years. Each time the CEO of the company retires, the eldest son of the next generation takes over. It's been like that for the whole of WestEnd Co’s history. Even the branch office in Seoul is headed by my halbi’s youngest brother and his sons. Next in line would have been my Uncle Yejun but he didn’t return home after attending university in America.
Home is Mt Komorebi; specifically the Wakaba district. My family has lived in this area for the past ten generations. Most have moved back to South Korea or elsewhere on the globe but some still live here. Two of my cousins' on my father’s side of the family live down the road, another cousin lives in Senbamachi, and Youngsol’s family had moved to Osaka after he graduated.
It's not as if it's odd that my Uncle went to university outside of the country. My halmi and halbi had three kids; my mother the eldest, Uncle Yejun, and Aunt Minso the youngest. All three of them went to university out of the country. My mother went to Cambridge in England where she met my father. My uncle and my aunt both went to university in Britechester (that’s somewhere in the states); Uncle Yejun went to Foxbury double majoring in business and technology, and Aunt Minso went to the University of Britechester for law.
The big difference between my mother and her siblings is that she came back. After my father proposed (with my halbi’s permission of course), Mom came back home to get married and to start a family, i.e. to have cute little baby me. My aunt seems like she plans to come back home when she’s done interning but my uncle continually refuses to come back. I think this is the first time he’s been back home since he left when he was still a teenager.
Uncle Yejun was expected to be groomed to take over from my halbi after he finished school. From what I know, he’s totally uninterested in running the family business. Right now my mother is the Vice President while my halbi is still the CEO. Almost every day I overhear my mother arguing with my halbi asking him when he is going to retire. He usually responds with some sort of grunting sound, basically meaning that he doesn't want to talk about it and he goes off to play the piano. The whole conversation makes my inner feminist rage rise. It’s not like my mother doesn't have an MBA from one of the best universities ever! I know my family is well soaked in traditions but it’s not like my mother is gonna have a “wild female mood swing” and sell the company. Like, okay boomer.
I lowkey understand why my uncle doesn't want to run the company, truly. If and that's a big if I have any sons I'd have no desire to have my children more or less chain ganged into joining the "family business" like their last name was Winchester. Honestly, it seems as if my uncle is doing better now that my halbi cut him off. Oh yeah, my halbi cut him off when it became clear that he wasn't coming back. To make this whole thing worse for my uncle he started a family with a "nyeon (년/whore) that he is still not married to”. Not my words. I’m just quoting my halbi. Let’s also not forget Uncle Yejun covered in tattoos that my halbi also disapproves of.
Basically, my halbi has disowned my Uncle more or less for living the life he wants for himself and has refused to talk to him for nearly my whole life. The only reason why I even met my cousin Seohyun was from a Christmas visit to my aunt's apartment when I was a kid. Aunt Minseo is G.O.A.T. She’s always snatched, so stylish, so smart, and a really great lawyer. The last time I visited we both got our hair dyed ginger (she kept her hair darker and short while I got mine ombre). My mom blew a gasket when I got home but at least my school didn’t make me change it back.
Aunt Minseo's also my favorite more or less down to the fact that I didn't know I had any other option until I met the rest of my family that Christmas. Both Seohyun and my Uncle came over for Christmas dinner. It had been my first time out of Japan to anywhere besides Korea. I had been hooked up on Christmas joy and barely paid any attention to the extra people opening presents. I'm never gonna forget how shocked I was meeting a little blonde-haired, white girl that speaks Korean and learning that I had more family in America!
As I raced down the stairs, I could hear the piano from the study. Good, that would mean my halbi was in the study playing the piano. The study was just off of the living room but behind doors so he wouldn’t see Uncle Yejun and Seohyun right away but he’d hear them eventually. I found my father talking to Uncle Yejun and Seohyun in the foyer. My father, the typical professor he is, was just commenting on Seohyun’s Korean when I walked up to join them, “Your Korean is very good but I think it hasn’t been that helpful on your first trip to Japan.”
Everyone laughed andEveryone laughed and Yejun simply said, “Didn't think about that one. Maybe the little one will learn Japanese. I'm sure Hoesung, our second eldest, will learn Japanese in a weekend. He's so smart. Smarter than me I think. Not that you aren't, sweetheart," he chuckled and then continued, "I probably could have been clearer on the 'where I grew up’ location when I told the kids where we were going on vacation.”
"They raised us speaking English and Korean at home and the first place they take us is Japan," Seohyun teased, making everyone laugh again and she came over to hug me. Our fathers busied themselves catching up with each other (Like what? They know each other?) so I pulled Seohyun to the side and asked her what was going on.
"Um, has your dad forgotten that our halbi mostly hates him?" I quietly asked in English. Both of our dads speak English but I exactly wasn't trying to keep our conversation from them.
"My parents brought us here for a pre-Christmas vacation. We've been here four days and my dad hasn't relaxed once. You should have seen him. The first day we were here he took us on a hike to an echoing cave. It was supposed to be a relaxing meditative walk but he was as jittery as if he had a Denkimushi in his shirt," she whispered back. "Yesterday night after dinner, I heard my mom say that my siblings and I at least deserve to know our grandmother so here we are."
"Why didn’t she come then? Halbi is going to lose his mind once he realizes…" I started to say but just then I realized that the piano had stopped playing. Seohyun had turned her attention to someone standing behind me and was beginning to bow as she introduced herself in Korean...

Michigan's "Great Lakes State" is home to 10.1 million people. So it's essential to understand Michigan car transport because such a large area sees a lot of inbounds and outbound traffic.
For short trips up to 500 miles, Michigan's average car shipping cost is $1.96 per mile. You'll pay between 500 and 1,500 miles of medium distance, roughly $0.93 per mile.
Tumblr media
How does it work?
After you've decided that it is worthwhile to transport a car in Michigan, the next step is to look into car shipping companies in Michigan and comprehend the procedure to prevent typical snags. Long Distance Car Shipping from/to Michigan
The following four methods are the most common for moving a Michigan vehicle interstate or beyond state lines:
Terminal to Terminal: Once you drop off your automobile at one airport, a carrier picks it up and transports it to the terminal that is closest to where you're heading.
Door to door: The automobile is delivered to your chosen address after being picked up from your desired place.
Terminal to door: You return the vehicle to an airport, and the carrier then transports it to the address of your choice.
Door to terminal: You select the pick-up location and bring the vehicle to the most convenient airport for your final destination.
It would be best if you spoke in-depth with your vehicle shipping company about the advantages and drawbacks of each choice because each has various benefits and disadvantages. The choice of an open or enclosed vehicle and the available time you want the car picked up must be made.
International Car Shipping to/from Michigan
Not all nations allow the import of cars. While other customs offices may demand up to 100% of the car's cost, some only charge about 10% of the vehicle's value. Auto Shipping Company thus urges you to research the import tax rate in your destination country before moving forward with vehicle shipment.
Call us if it's within your means, and the Auto Shipping Company will take care of everything. You may send your car to any nation on any continent with the help of our top car shipping providers. The price is more than fair, and you save time. In addition, using our vehicle shipping transport services might help you save money since you'll avoid the numerous blunders first-time shippers make.

Alternatives for Low-Cost Automobile Transportation in Michigan
The great majority uses open carriers and terminals to keep expenses low. Although they have a smaller carrying capacity than open carriers, enclosed carriers protect vehicles from the elements while in transit.
Depending on whether your car is broken or whether there is a nearby terminal, door-to-door services may be less expensive. But only if having the business pick up your car from your house is cheaper than transporting it to an airport. You might also think of door-to-terminal services or the contrary to get around the dilemma.
The cost may also change depending on what time of year you pick for your vehicle shipment. When the weather interferes with the company, and there is a quiet month, our organization offers a seasonal discount. But if the cold doesn't stop you, this might be a terrific method to cut money.
Luxurious and vintage automobile shipping in Michigan
Enclosed vehicle carriers provide more peace of mind if you move your antique or exotic car to Michigan. As enclosed trailers include hydraulic lift gates; they may accommodate low-ground clearance vehicles and keep them horizontal when loading and unloading.
The price to transfer a vintage or expensive automobile inside a container depends on the kind of trailer you select. You can choose a single or two-car trailer (used for luxury vehicles and rapid delivery) or a multi-car trailer that can hold up to seven cars. Since they are more accessible, effective, and offer services like the driver's personal attention, enclosed auto transport is more costly. During the shipping procedure, you may also speak with the truck driver directly, keeping you informed until your vehicle is delivered to Michigan.
Michigan Special Offers
As a United States military member, you can ship a POV at a reduced rate through Auto Car Transport. Elderly and students receive comparable reductions. Aside from these deals, auto shipping companies also prepared seasonal discounts that every one may take advantage of for their dependable Michigan auto shipping services. Suppose you are shipping a vehicle or automobile to Michigan. In that case, the auto shipping company recommends you prepare and call our Michigan auto transport business to find out when the time of year is the cheapest. You can obtain unique discounts for places such as Detroit, Michigan, and Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Tumblr media
Conclusion
The ideal technique to transfer a car is determined by your goals. If you want to relocate your personal or family car cheaply, your moving company may be a good solution. The most cost-effective approach to moving a vehicle is to use a professional auto shipping business and request that your vehicle be transported on a trailer shared with other cars. In certain circumstances, people transport collector automobiles or other vehicles that require special care. Providing high-quality service may be more essential than conserving money.

HALO: SHADOWS OF REACH — A REVIEW BY A SOMEWHAT ENTHUSIASTIC FAN
Alright, so after forever and to much demand (okay, that's a lie, no one asked for this), I've finally finished my review of the newest installment in the Halo novels: Shadows of Reach. Obviously, there are spoilers inbound.
RATING: 8/10
This could've easily been a ten if not for some parts of the story that irked me, but overall a fun read— I'd read it again.
A VERY LONG SUMMARY (OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD, SO PLEASE TELL ME IF I MESSED SOMETHING UP)
Welp, the first half is just John being very emo about Cortana and pretty much ignoring his teammates' emotional states (a large part of the book is that, actually), and introducing old wise man Major Van Houte, no nonsense Crew Chief Stella Mukai (who made John laugh, huzzah!!) and Lieutenant Maks "Hotshot kid" Chapov (don't get too attached). They perform intricate aerial maneuvers and the likes to avoid being spotted, but they are and they crash.
After a couple close encounters with Banished banshees that act like Keeper banshees for some odd reason, three-quarters of Blue Team gets their cans kicked by actual Banished banshees and get separated from Linda-058 and Special Crew (which are the flight crew btw). Whilst heavily wounded, they are held at gunpoint by the Viery Militia who also make fun of them while at gunpoint. (Rude, but also very funny). Militia Leader Lady assumes that they're there to help them liberate Reach (and refuses to let John tell her otherwise) and gets pissy about it afterwards - but she's under a lot of pressure, so it's fine - and Fred is Concussed™, leading to ridicule and shade from John and Kelly for pretty much the rest of the book.
There's a lot of stuff in the middle about the Viery Militia, so hightlight reel: John manages to ask his doc a personal question (Go, John!), and he and Kelly are driven to meet the commanders of the Militia by sweet Bella Disztl, five time winner of the Tantalus-10,000 (don't worry if you forget, they bring it up in every scene she's in). I like Bella, partly because she looks like my OC, but in general. Unfortunately, she falls prey to the Halo driver curse and bites it later on in the book.
Despite a lot of angst and distrust once the commanders find out BT is not there to help free Reach, they decide to take the Armory from the Banished and call in reinforcements from Infinity.
As they launch the assault on the Banished armory, everyone without MJOLNIR (and Chapov and Van Houte who are out of range) gets knocked out due to lack of breathable levels of oxygen in the tunnels (and they talk about the brain damage that's caused when your oxygen is cut off for a few minutes, which makes me and all the other RvB fans sad) and the Spartans are forced to do it alone, shocker. Chapov saves the day with an innovative tactic to take down massive amounts of Banished vehicles, go Chapov!
We finally get to see Halsey (who finally has a prosthetic arm), Lasky (who likes to say heck) and Palmer (who is still Very Done with basically everyone), so that's cool.
There's a second attack on the armory as the Banished try to take back what is theirs, and here is where Bella dies :( But, on the other hand, a hundred and twenty Spartans (which is still super shocking to me) save the day. Palmer and Blue Team have a very odd interaction wherein Palmer is treated like she's in the wrong despite being perfectly reasonable?? (I'm just going to read this part one more time because the first time around was at 2AM) Anyways, Palmer takes over freeing Reach and the Spartans go to the Highlands to finish their actual mission.
So, I've neglected to mention Castor's arc in the book because it's basically all the same thing, so highlight reel: There's a badass Sangheili called 'Gadogai who works for Escharum. This dude is the right hand man of Atriox, aka the big boss. Anyways, Deukalion (where are my TW fans at?!) and Ballas are dokabs of two of the other Banished clans who are fighting over the pioneers' land, like a bunch of bitches, instead of doing their jobs and Castor's really mad about it. Castor continually demonstrates his cleverness but as always misses a key factor and his plans get screwed. Also, Orsun's son is around, so that's cool. There's lots of Jiralhanae politics and crap that I'm not really going to go into here. Also, Veta Lopis and the Ferrets are there with their kick-ass hairstyles. Escharum shows up and Castor's ploy to let BT guide them to this Portal to the Ark finally works out and things are going good for the Keepers' Leader.
BT finally makes it to the mountains, and after a fun aerial chase, Chapov is mortally wounded and manages to take out, like, four Banshees before he dies. The Banished go for the Portal while BT rush for SWORD base, there's another large scale fight with Jetpack Brutes and Longswords and Broadswords, but BT makes it to SWORD base, and Fred goes check out the corridor to the Portal (which they get into after a lot of events). They grab three cryo-bins and a box with a sabre symbol on it, and John manages to mess up his wounded legs and is very nice to Kalmiya's fragment. Sweet.
The Freta reunion is painfully brief, and leaves Fred with confusion and a message capsule. The Portal is opened, the Keepers turn on the Banished, but ultimately no consequences are reaped (shocker) and Gadogai jumps ship over to the Keepers. Cortana is alerted by the Portal and a Guardian is showing up and everyone hauls ass away from Reach.
Captain Veronica Dare is still alive (yay) and gives Fred part of the message because "it's none of ONI's business" which is amazing and awesome and once again, yay. Halsey is pained by how much Blue Team had gotten beaten up (which I am still confused by) and Palmer and the rest of the UNSC forces are stranded on Reach.
FINAL THOUGHTS
It was definitely lots of fun, I'll give Denning that. They finally brought in that slipspace crystal from First Strike which I've been bitching about forever, which is cool.
However, lots of elements from his previous books touch over in this one, like continually getting the badass, untouchable Spartans absolutely pwned and the subtle traces of sexism surrounding his treatment of Kelly, Linda and now Palmer get on my nerves.
One thing that bites at me was that Kelly got shot in the goddamn chest and she was just doing perfectly fine. Her coping with it was not shown at all. It gets more and more obvious with each book that Denning is pretty much clueless on what to do with either of our badass Spartan ladies, which is discouraging, especially compared to the amazing force-of-nature that is Veta Lopis!
And I really didn't like the fact that John was just sad about Cortana. I mean, there's no actual conflict about the fact that Eviltana (who I will always think about as a different person from my blue bby) is a mass-murdering fanatical bitch. Like she's just misunderstood and not an actual dictator. And he doesn't seem to give a damn about any of the Spartans obvious signs of trauma over any of this stuff. He just dismissed Kelly's valid concern about saying Cortana's name, which is kind of OOC, but okay.
That being said, they better not make another Cortana model, because that was something Actual!Cortana was very messed up about; being replaced like that. If they do, they better make it very clear that she's a different entity, like Kalmiya.
Congrats and thank you for reading through all of this stuff! Hope you enjoyed, and feel free to hit me up regarding anything Halo!

If you haven’t travelled through Istanbul’s newest behemoth airport yet, you’re certainly in for a surprise. It certainly dwarves the previous airport and it couldn’t be more different. Light, airy and architecturally stunning, it’s a true gateway hub for the region and has set a standard for global airports for the next decade to come.
The sheer scale of the never ending airport also allows Turkish Airlines to play home to a mammoth lounge area that spans 120,000 sq metres. That’s colossal, and it only accounts for the Miles and Smiles and Business Class lounges. Turkish Airlines’ Exclusive Lounge and Arrivals Lounge are still to be opened in a few months’ time.
On a recent flight to Bali to experience the carrier’s latest 787 Business Class product, we were given the opportunity to explore the carrier’s Business Class lounge. Now, to make the explanation simple, apart from a few small differences, the Business Class lounge (accessible to Turkish Business Class passengers only) is the mirror image of the lounge for frequent fliers.
On entry, which is accessible from the rear side of the duty free shops via an escalator and automatic gates where you scan your boarding pass, you are greeted by a huge TV screen which plays Turkish Airlines branded content and welcomes you to the new lounge. Unlike the previous lounge, there is no private security lane which takes you from check in straight to the lounge, instead you still have to snake through Duty Free.
At the large TV, the lounge splits in two, with the main lounge area situated to the right, but the left houses not just a computer desk and some private seat booths, but also a concierge desk. What’s not clear on first visit, is that the concierge desk also plays front desk to the private rooms and showers which are situated around the corner.
So on arrival to the concierge desk you are able to book either a shower room or a room to sleep in, the private bedrooms are available on a myriad of limitations (understandably) including long haul to long haul flight, with a connection within a certain amount of hours etc, but most long haul connecting passengers who have plenty of time to spend in the lounge will have access to one of these.
Both the shower rooms and bedrooms are huge upgrades from the previous lounge in Ataturk airport. But the biggest improvement is the addition of carpet in the hallway that connects the 11 suites, as our major criticism of the previous lounge was the creaky floorboards that kept people awake trying to use the private suites.
Framing the entire lounge is the commanding one-piece wooden ‘flow’ motif that connects all the lounges and spans the 120,000 square metres. It’s a stunning ribbon that ebbs and flows throughout the lounge, creating areas of intimacy and grand statement too. It starts from the escalator in to the lounge, and ends at the other, and forms part of the airport’s design, wherever you are in the main terminal.
After having a shower or a rest you may want to leave your bags in the storage lockers before exploring the rest of the lounge.
Being Turkish Airlines there is a vast array of options within the lounge, which are almost exhausting, however the lounge’s main focus is on food, with drinks taking a back seat. Unlike other lounges there is no bar here, partly out of respect for the varied cultures going through, although it would be nice to see a more social gathering point.
However one thing this lounge offers that virtually every other doesn’t, is an art gallery, which is a lovely mini space within the lounge that is quiet and reflective, showcasing a range of Turkish artists’ modern pieces.
Throughout the main thoroughfare however are multiple live cooking stations making a range of omelettes, Pides and other Turkish delicacies.
But exploring either side of the thoroughfare and you are bound to experience a myriad of other zones. It feels more like wandering through a bazaar or Istanbul’s side streets than a lounge itself.
On one side, facing over the terminal concourse, are a range of semi-private relaxation suites, that allow for a little more privacy or a place to nap, but without the full seclusion the 11 bedroom suites offer. These are joined by meeting rooms that can be hired out by visiting the concierge.
That is then supported by the main relaxation area which features the same leather seats found in the older lounge. It offers commanding views over the inside of the airport, and certainly feels spacious, but can be a little bright for those on long haul overnight connections.
For those blurry-eyed folk, a better option is either the main dining area which is covered from the tall vast ceiling of the airport and feels more intimate.
Or further still, head to the library area which sits under the ribbon architecture and feels dark and moody in comparison. It’s flanked by large TV screens and artwork as well as bookshelves filled with newspapers and magazines.
The more you explore, the more you will find, and this little nook behind the library is probably the quietest part of the lounge, which also features apron views. Because it’s not so well known, it was empty even when the rest of the lounge was experiencing a large wave of inbound and outbound traffic.
Of course it wouldn’t be a Turkish Airlines lounge without toys for the kids and kids-still-at-heart. There’s the infamous Turkish Airlines race track.
A golf area, which was sadly being fixed when we made our way through.
And a kids zone, which featured a crèche, a large play plane for kids to explore and nannies on hand to help with the kids. For the adults there are roving massage therapists who give 10 minute shoulder massages to weary travellers.
The airline has managed to take the existing lounge’s spirit and bring it to life on a much grander scale. While it doesn’t have the double levels, sweeping stair cases, bird song or large Turkish Airlines globe, it symbolises a carrier that has grown up, learned from its passengers and delivered exactly what they need.
Sure there are areas which we would love to see improved, like the addition of a bar (even Malaysia Airlines has one), so that there was more on offer than a few wines, and one solitary DIY cocktail stand by the communal TV wall, but that’s us with a European head on. We still respect the decision of a carrier that has one of the broadest range of cultures that travel through its hub.
Another thing we would love to see more of, is power sockets. There are a few, mainly hidden on the floor, but there really should be more across the lounge, allowing for passengers to use and power their devices wherever they are. But this is us picking on perfection, and a lounge that punches well above its weight. We had to keep reminding ourselves that there is a lounge (sans sleep suites) just a stones-throw away, offering exactly the same product. It’s so vast, it really takes some time to sink in. Well done Turkish.
The Big Picture
THEDESIGNAIR.NET TRAVELLED AS GUESTS OF TURKISH AIRLINES, HOWEVER THE VIEWS EXPRESSED HERE ARE OUR OWN
Is this one of the largest lounge complexes in the world? Lounging Around: Turkish Airlines Business Class Lounge, Istanbul - a beautiful behemoth of a lounge. If you haven't travelled through Istanbul's newest behemoth airport yet, you're certainly in for a surprise. It certainly dwarves the previous airport and it couldn't be more different.

Phuket threatens tourists with 'penalties' for rule breaking
Tumblr media
There will be penalties for people who break their 14-day mandatory stay in Phuket as the provincial government has been given full authority to impose a fine or withdraw quarantine-free privilege from tourists.
It may all be academic anyway as the signs are that very few people are planning to spend their first trip away in what amounts to a juvenile detention centre. Even so, the little men in charge of everybody's lives in Phuket have been throwing their 55kg around again. The regulations, published in the Royal Gazette, not only grants permission to Phuket to reopen without quarantine to inoculated tourists but also authorised nine other pilot areas to reopen in the next stage but with different rules and restrictions based on the situation of each province, said Yuthasak Supasorn, Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) governor. The standard operating procedures (SOP) will include penalties for travellers who breach health safety regulations imposed by local disease control departments. It is up to each provincial governor or provincial command centre to determine which health safety measures are suitable for their geography and consider charges against people who fail to follow the rules. For Phuket, the province mandates a 14-day stay on the island in July. The province issued an order on June 25 stating that both Thais and foreigners who do not comply with control measures may face punishment as stated in Section 51 and 52 of disease control laws which includes a fine of up to 20,000 baht and 100,000 baht, respectively. However, Mr Yuthasak said punishments might be made less severe when the Phuket sandbox comes into effect on Thursday. The authorities might consider lighter punishments such as revoking quarantine exemptions and requiring tourists to lodge in alternative local quarantine if found guilty. "There shouldn't be any problem as tourists have already expressed their intention to stay longer on the island. As noted on the SHA Plus Booking Authentication System , the average length of stay for the first 15 days of this project was at 11.9 nights per guest," he said. SHABA is the back-end system that ensures that tourists complete mandatory stays in Phuket. It can track bookings and the payments tourists have already made to hotels certified under the Thailand Safety and Health Administration (SHA Plus) prior to arrival. Mr Yuthasak said Koh Samui, Krabi, Phangnga should be the next destinations to reopen to vaccinated tourists using a similar approach as Phuket. However, the timeline of each area depends on flight operations as the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has to grant permission and provide specific regulations to airports and airlines that want to fly direct to Samui and Krabi. Siripakorn Cheawsamoot, TAT deputy governor for Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas, said there are at least 217 guests who have already booked and paid for hotel rooms for July 1. During the first two weeks of reopening, 1,101 bookings totalling about 13,000 room nights have been made with SHA Plus hotels. He said Bangkok Airways and Qatar Airways have confirmed their interest to serve international flights to Samui, however, due to a short runway, the airport can accommodate just narrow-bodied jets which cannot fly long-haul routes. "We still need CAAT to decide to allow inbound tourists to transit at Suvarnabhumi Airport which will be more practical," Mr Yuthasak said. https://bangkokjack.com/2021/06/13/no-point-phuket-reopening/ Read the full article

Can Any Inbound Linking Hurt My Ranking?
Tumblr media
The appropriate response is basic – inbound connecting can't hurt your inquiry positioning. How could this be known beyond a shadow of a doubt? All things considered, for one, if inbound were to harmed your position, your rivals would ceaselessly connection to your site from interface ranches. Such a situation is outside your ability to control. Consequently, Google can't punish your site for any inbound connecting. My viewpoint on e-organizations and their sites, is that in the event that they don't invest wholeheartedly in their sites and show to their clients an energy for what they do, odds are, they will not invest heavily in their items, and the enthusiasm for giving great client support will likewise be missing.
Then again, you can be punished for ill-conceived outside connecting. It is exceptionally exhorted that you not connect to any site or gathering of destinations that might be engaged with obscure or unscrupulous inquiry rehearses. Doing so could bring about being boycotted by Google, at last destroying your digital marketing company in kolkata. Keep away from the present circumstance no matter what and guarantee that all outside joins highlight trusted and solid sources.
Will Any Inbound Linking Hurt My Ranking?
Having been associated with the web business for a huge piece of my functioning life, I have invested a ton of energy exploring and perusing the web and understanding sites, fundamentally for customer configuration research, yet in addition for periodic individual use. The one thing that I discover most frustrating is the clear absence of thought going into site creation and it's the reason, which thusly sets out a missed freedom for some e-organizations to get fruitful.
What you should recall, is that your site is an immediate impression of you and your business. The presence of your site is the main factor in deciding your potential achievement rate. So, if your site doesn't look proficient or satisfying to the eyes from the start, most of individuals will expect your items and additionally administrations to be of comparable helpless norm.
At the opposite finish of the scale, you could fall into the snare of going over the edge with the plan and over confound things with consolidating high costing conspicuous designs. You may wind up with an extraordinary looking and exceptionally stylish site, however the risk with this is that your site may demonstrate untrustworthy and now and again may take too long to even consider stacking. There isn't anything more awful for a client than attempting to visit a lethargic stacking site, and most will close the program window in complete dissatisfaction. As I'm certain you will actually want to work out, this will at last cost you business.
The other significant thought (if not the main) when planning a site is your substance. Connections, yet content with energy, relativity, and comprehension to the client. At the point when somebody is looking for something specifically and they visit your site, they're visiting on purpose. Your site has something they need, Whether this be your item, administration, and additionally data. On the off chance that they can't get what they're searching for, they proceed onward to the following site, etc. To have the option to get your guests to remain and check out your site, you should give them motivation to. Furnishing them with quality substance will accomplish this objective.
There have been incalculable different records and articles regarding the matter of site planning botches, however I have assembled my rundown, from a fashioner's viewpoint, of certain traps to pay special mind to while thinking about either planning a site or buying a format. Recollect that straightforward, clear, educational and very much planned locales are the best. On the off chance that you are a current e-business and your deals aren't what you had trusted, consider the abovementioned and set aside some effort to look transparently and genuinely at your site. Burning through cash on improving your site is a greatly improved venture than discarding cash on attempting to publicize and showcase a site that simply isn't sufficient to sell your item or administrations.
In the event that you are searching for a format or a specially crafted site, know about the abovementioned and be set up to ask your picked originator or layout supplier inquiries to guarantee that your well deserved cash doesn't go to squander on a substandard plan, which contains any of the abovementioned. Posing inquiries will not cost you a penny, and in doing so could save you a great deal of cash over the long haul. Getting your site right first time is crucial in quite a while of setting aside cash and time. The prior your site is fully operational appropriately, the speedier you will actually want to receive the benefits of a fruitful e-business.
The great mix-up Newbies make is to put their site name into the Anchor Text. Except if your site contains your catchphrases this is a misuse of an entirely decent connection. Recall that Google puts an extremely enormous significance on those Anchor writings and they ought to consistently utilize your watchwords.
The subsequent error is attempting to place each and every catchphrase into your anchor text and offer that to everybody. There are two slip-ups with this procedure. 1.) Google appoints weight to each word in anchor text so if there are a great deal of filler words (regular in long sentences), they will "weaken" your objective words.
As per two late studies, directed by Forrester Research and Gartner Group, eCommerce destinations are losing $1.1 to $1.3 billion in income every year because of clients click-away brought about by sluggish stacking locales. On the off chance that a page takes too long to even consider stacking, your potential client won't stand by. Eventually costing you business.
Ensure you incorporate appropriate META labels in the HTML of each page of your site. META labels are HTML codes that empower the web indexes to figure out what catchphrases are applicable to a particular website. Can Any Inbound Linking Hurt My Ranking? the appropriate response is basically no in light of the fact that it will rely upon the website on which we are producing backlinks; About 80% of all site traffic starts from the eight significant web indexes. It would be a smart thought to ensure you've gotten your work done and completely see how to enhance your website pages prior to planning your webpage. This will save you a great deal of migraines over the long haul. For additional data on META labels read the instructional exercise named, "Building Your Site."
Be mindful while choosing your experience and text tones. Occupied foundations make text hard to peruse and keep the from noticing the content. Continuously be predictable with your experience subject on each page of your site. Your site ought to be pleasantly coordinated and uniform all through. Remember, colors influence your state of mind and will influence your guests also. Splendid tones like yellow and orange, cause you to turn out to be more bright or cheerful, while tones, for example, blue and purple have a quieting impact. Dull tones, for example, earthy colored and dark have a discouraging impact. A decent dependable guideline is use colors dependent on the kind of impact you're attempting to accomplish.
Your fundamental page should explicitly tell your guests precisely the thing you're advertising. How often have you visited a site and never sorted out precisely the thing they were selling? In the event that your potential client can't discover your item or administration, they certainly will not burn through a ton of time searching for it. They'll go on to the following site and likely stay away forever. They're visiting your site for a particular reason. They need something your site offers. Regardless of whether it is data, an item, or administration.
Plan your site to be effortlessly explored. Spot your route interfaces together at the top, base left, or right half of the page. Use tables to conveniently adjust your connections. In the event that you are anticipating utilizing realistic catches to explore your site, remember that with every realistic you add to your page, it will take that any longer for your page to stack. In the event that you just have a small bunch of navigational connections, utilizing realistic catches will be fine. In the event that you have more than six connections, it is insightful to just utilize text connects to keep your heap time down.
In the event that you should utilize outlines, use them sparingly. Casings, if not appropriately utilized, can make your site look amateurish. Try not to cause your guests to need to look from one side to another to see your substance. This can be exceptionally bothering and cause your guests to leave. On the off chance that you should utilize outlines, offer your guests a decision. Edges stanzas No Frames. Attempt to keep the quantity of snaps needed to get from your fundamental page to some other page on your site down to four. Remember, your guests may enter your site from pages other than your fundamental. Continuously have great navigational connections on each page and spot your organization logo on each page.
Plan a quality digital book to provide for your guests. It's not as troublesome as it sounds. On the off chance that you can make a page, you can make a digital book. The focal point of your digital book should commend your site. Essentially expound on your enthusiasm. On the off chance that your enthusiasm is deals, you could share a portion of your insight and experience by planning your digital book to give a total deals preparing guide. In the event that your enthusiasm is a locally situated business, you could compose a digital book about how to begin your own locally situated business. Assuming you're expounding on your actual enthusiasm, you shouldn't experience any difficulty concocting something to expound on. For additional data on digital books, read the article named, "How to Create an E-book and Drive Massive Traffic to Your Site by Giving It Away."
Having been engaged with the web business for an enormous piece of my functioning life, I have invested a ton of energy investigating and perusing the digital marketing agency in kolkata, essentially for customer configuration research, yet additionally for infrequent individual use. The one thing that I discover most baffling is the clear absence of thought going into site creation and it's the reason, which thus sets out a missed freedom for some e-organizations to get effective.

Google Panda 4.1: Some Lessons Learnt
Tumblr media
The Panda updates of Google are continually approaching around the bend, looking up sites that are mocking the standards. Website admins and web advertisers are perpetually pondering about how their sites passage on Panda's score sheets. The sheer scope of viewpoints that Panda considers makes it essentially difficult to dodge under its radar.
The other weapon of Google, Penguin, shows up from time to time, punishing sites, sorting the scores out and leaving a few sites shredded. Panda refreshes, then again, are there for the long haul. It makes is doubly significant for sites and Seo Company Chandigarh to get Panda and consolidate the exercises and rules in their work.
In this post, we are taking a gander at a portion of the exercises that Panda 4.1 update needs to grant for us, the SEO experts, and computerized advertisers. These exercises are important to guarantee that you are consistently on the great books of Panda. Look at them:
The Do's
There is no sequential request thusly except for the exercise at the head of my rundown is the requirement for each and every site page to fill its need. For instance, an administrations page must give out data about items and administrations such that clients profit by the substance of the page. There are too adversaries of this line of page development: attempting to pack in a lot of material in one page and being befuddled about the goal of the page. Work it out inside your group with regards to what you need the page to achieve. In another model, on the off chance that you have an information exchange page, put the information exchange box and significant guidelines over the overlap. This gives clear signs to Google that you are giving worth substance and pulls down the ricochet pace of a website page.
READ ALSO-- 8 Twitter Tools you must have to use for power tweets
Offsite references convey a ton of weight with regards to Panda measuring sticks. Google distinguishes and knows the specialists in each and every space of business. The movers and the shakers of your business field are in that general area in Google's books. The inquiry is: are these individuals discussing you or your image? On the off chance that the appropriate response is indeed, you are so progressing nicely! Assuming no, you have to get that going. You need that buzz where industry specialists utilize your web content in their articles and web journals, online media notice, the works. At the point when that occurs, you get quality traffic to your site and redirect the consideration of Google towards your site. In the event that you proceed with the great work, you will be assigned as an industry master yourself, a status that will do ponders for your image. Getting inbound connects to your site and positive audits are decent.
A brief glance through the Quality Raters Guidelines is everything you require to comprehend this line of speculation from the Panda. You can't permit the client experience of your site to be hindered by the advertisements that you set up. There is minimal additionally baffling that popup promotions appearing once in a while, getting through the smooth client experience. There is no denying the way that advertisements bring income yet to you and to Google, Digital Marketing Company Hyderabad are for clients, not promotions! Advertisements are there in light of the fact that clients are there. You can't bear to drive away clients due to your meddling advertisement planning. Quality Raters Guidelines label this promotion impedance as a gross infringement that goes totally against the texture of the web insight.
Envision a circumstance where you compose a test for 180 minutes and present the paper just to understand that you have neglected to compose your name on the top! That is the thing that happens when after everything the torments you require to prop up your site, there is a bare Apache connect some place, a messed up route there, spelling botches littered around, and so forth. These are counter-beneficial and in opposition to conviction, NOT minor glitches! On the PC screen and in this period of the data age, these are intensified on numerous occasions. Edit your site and take care of the potential issues.

DIGITAL MARKETING BY CLIENT’S NOW
With how open the web is today, OK trust me on the off chance that I revealed to you the quantity of individuals who go online consistently is as yet expanding? It is. Truth be told, “consistent” web use among grown-ups expanded by 5% in simply the most recent three years, as indicated by Pew Research. Also, despite the fact that we state it a ton, the manner in which individuals shop and purchase truly has changed alongside it — which means disconnected advertising isn’t as compelling as it used to be. Promoting has consistently been tied in with associating with your crowd in the perfect spot and at the perfect time. Today, that implies you have to meet them where they are now investing energy: in the web. Enter advanced promoting — as it were, any type of advertising that exists on the web. Advanced promoting incorporates all advertising endeavors that utilization an electronic gadget or the web. Organizations influence computerized channels, for example, web indexes, web-based media, email, and different sites to associate with current and planned clients. A prepared inbound advertiser may state inbound showcasing and advanced promoting are essentially something very similar, yet there are some minor contrasts. What’s more, discussions with advertisers and entrepreneurs in the U.S., U.K., Asia, Australia, and New Zealand, I’ve taken in a ton about how those little contrasts are being seen over the world.
How does a business characterize advanced promoting?
Tumblr media
DIGITAL MARKETING is characterized by the utilization of various computerized strategies and channels to associate with clients where they invest quite a bit of their energy: on the web. From the site itself to a business’ internet marking resources — advanced publicizing, email promoting, online pamphlets, and past — there’s a range of strategies that fall under the umbrella of “computerized showcasing.” The best advanced advertisers have an away from of how each computerized showcasing effort bolsters their general objectives.
Also, contingent upon the objectives of their showcasing technique, advertisers can uphold a bigger mission through the free and paid channels available to them. A substance advertiser, for instance, can make a progression of blog entries that serve to produce leads from another digital book the business as of late made. The organization’s online media advertiser may then assistance advance these blog entries through paid and natural posts on the business’ web-based media accounts. Maybe the email advertiser makes an email mission to send the individuals who download the digital book more data on the organization. We’ll speak more about these particular advanced advertisers in a moment.
Digital Marketing Examples :
Tumblr media
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Content Marketing
Social Media Marketing
Pay Per Click (PPC)
Affiliate Marketing
Native Advertising
Marketing Automation
Email Marketing Online
PR Inbound Marketing
What does a digital marketer do?
Advanced advertisers are accountable for driving brand awareness and lead age through all the computerized channels — both free and paid — that are available to an organization. These channels incorporate webbased media, the organization’s own site, web crawler rankings, email, show promoting, and the organization’s blog. The advanced advertiser ordinarily centers around an alternate key presentation marker (KPI) for each channel so they can appropriately gauge the organization’s exhibition over every one. An advanced advertiser who’s responsible for SEO, for instance, quantifies their site’s “natural traffic” — of that traffic originating from site guests who found a page of the business’ site by means of a Google search.
DIGITAL MARKETING is done across many showcasing jobs today. In little organizations, one generalist may possess a large number of the advanced showcasing strategies depicted above simultaneously. In bigger organizations, these strategies have numerous pros that each emphasis on only a couple of the brand’s advanced channels.
Does digital marketing work for all businesses?
DIGITAL MARKETING can work for any business in any industry. Notwithstanding what your organization sells, advanced promoting still includes working out purchaser personas to recognize your crowd’s needs, and making important online substance. Nonetheless, this shouldn’t imply that all organizations should actualize a showcasing Digital Marketing methodology similarly.
How long will it take to see results from my content?
With Digital Marketing, it can frequently feel like you’re ready to get results a lot quicker than you may with disconnected promoting because of the reality it’s simpler to gauge ROI. In any case, it at last relies upon the scale and viability of your computerized showcasing procedure. On the off chance that you invest energy building thorough purchaser personas to recognize the necessities of your crowd, and you center around making quality online substance to pull in and convert them, at that point you’re probably going to see solid outcomes inside the initial a half year. Whenever paid publicizing is essential for your computerized system, at that point the outcomes come significantly faster — yet it’s prescribed to zero in on building your natural (or ‘free’) arrive at utilizing substance, SEO, and web-based media for long haul, practical achievement.

UK Visitor Arrivals Spending Up 19% in October 2019
Visitors to the UK spent £2.3 billion in October 2019, the highest ever for the month and 19% more than in October 2018. During the month, there were 3.4 million overseas visitor arrivals to the UK, a rise of 3% on October 2018. These latest statistics from VisitBritain show that it was a record-breaking August to October period for both overseas visits to the UK, and for visitor spending. August 2019 was the highest month ever for both inbound visits and spending, and only the third time ever that the four million mark for inbound visits to the UK has been surpassed in a single month. Quarterly data shows strong growth in spending and visits from the US, the UK’s largest and most valuable inbound tourism market.
Tumblr media
Visitors from the US spent a record £3.4 billion in the UK between January and September 2019, up 23% on the same period in 2018. A record 3.5 million US arrivals visited the UK during that time, an increase of 13% y-o-y. There were also a record number of visitor arrivals from China between January and September 2019 with 321,000 people, an increase of 8% on the same period in 2018. Spending  by those arrivals during this period jumped 11% y-o-y to £553 million. VisitBritain Director, Patricia Yates, said, “These record-breaking figures underpin a longer-term pattern of growth from our long-haul high spending markets, demonstrating Britain’s continued ability to compete internationally for visitors in a fiercely competitive global environment. The results also reinforce tourism’s importance as a driver of economic growth and its role in promoting a positive, welcoming image of Britain globally. Working with partners we are telling customers about experiences they can only have here, converting the inspiration to visit into bookings and encouraging visitors to discover more of the country, boosting local economies.” These latest figures bring the number of overseas arrivals to the UK from January to October to 32.8 million, up 2% on the same period in 2018 with visitors spending rising 8% to £21.2 billion. Looking ahead, VisitBritain has predicted that spending by visitor arrivals to reach a record £26.6 billion this year, a 6.6% increase on the expected spending in 2019 of £25 billion. The number of overseas arrivals to the UK is forecast to rise to 39.7 million in 2020, the highest ever. Tourism is now worth an estimated £127 billion to the UK economy. 5 Ways to Redesign your Warehouse and Save Money
Tumblr media
Have you noticed a recent decline in profitability and/or productivity? Logistical and financial challenges are inevitable when it comes to managing a warehouse, particularly during busy periods. Whether you’re expanding your product line, merging with another company or simply increasing your customer base and sales volume, it’s important to make sure operations are optimising your time and money as well as possible.
Taking a closer look at the design of your warehouse can help you identify any problem areas that may be slowing down productivity, including:
• Overcrowded storage spaces
• Disorganised picking and packing areas
• Poor layout affecting flow
• Rundown or unsafe shelving
You can read our blog 5 Signs it’s Time to Update your Storage System to find out more!
If you any of the above points resonate then it could be time to update or redesign your warehouse to help you get back on track and achieve your business goals.
Here’s 5 ways to redesign your warehouse to boost your business’s performance and improve profitability:
1. Maximise Available Storage Space
Tumblr media
Having extra storage space is always useful to accommodate business growth and any new stock items. Lack of storage space can lead to disorganised, even hazardous areas, and can negatively impact efficiency and productivity.
Redesigning your warehouse can help you stretch your dollar further by identifying underused areas and optimising your existing space. For example, mezzanine floor spaces are an effective solution if you’ve run out of horizontal space; build up and use your available vertical space instead!
2. Reduce Obsolete Inventory
It’s easy to lose track of your inventory if your warehouse is disorganised. When products don’t move, they take up valuable floor space and only cost you more time and money.
Re-evaluating the layout of your warehouse and utilising space more efficiently provides greater transparency and control of inbound and outbound stock. You’ll be able to assess what items you need to stock more or less of, and identify any obsolete items holding your business back.
3. Prepare for Future Expansion
It can be difficult to keep your finger on the pulse when industries are constantly changing and adapting. To remain competitive in your field, it’s important to be prepared for the future. Investing in quality and flexible storage solutions designed to last the long haul, and that can be adapted for future expansion is always a smart move and can save your business money down the track.
When preparing for future expansion, it’s also worthwhile looking at your equipment to consider how old it is and how often it needs repairs. New equipment can make processes more efficient and also save you from costly maintenance fees.
4. Increase Employee Satisfaction
High staff turnover can drastically affect profitability by taking up your valuable time to recruit and train new employees. Re-designing your warehouse can help streamline processes, not only allowing you better insight into labour hours and costs, but also increasing employee productivity and satisfaction.
Simple, easy-to-follow processes in your warehouse can assist with relieving day-to-day stress and keeping your employees happier at work.
5. Improve Health & Safety
Safety and security should be your first priority as storage spaces and picking areas can become hazardous if they’re overcrowded or disorganised. Rearranging your warehouse to ensure correct processes can be followed will help improve safety and security.
Ensuring your warehouse spaces are optimised will also help prevent costly workplace accidents and any damage to stock and equipment from happening.
At All Storage Systems, we strive to help your warehouse improve workplace efficiencies so you can optimise your assets, resources and profitability. We offer complete warehouse design services from layout to product selection, auditing and complete installation. No matter your industry, our team of specialists can design the perfect shelving and storage systems to suit your business.

The group of spectators is more open to innovative substance as opposed to the tag of huge brands.
5. Client Relationship Management Has Never Been so Easy
The most significant part of any business is consumer loyalty. It can never be accomplished without keeping up a decent association with the clients. In the customary manner, it was extremely difficult to keep up an association with the clients because of absence of mediums to interface.
One of the advantages of utilizing advanced advertising is to deal with the client relationship. Web based life to be explicit has changed the game totally. Today, winning steadfast clients is one's capacity to keep the clients drew in and react to their criticism via web-based networking media constantly.
There is a flip side to it, where a client can speak sick about the organization in the event that they aren't content with the administration or item, however it's up to organization's imagination and responsibility to address it. The best case of tending to client objection was depicted by Ola.
A client was baffled Ola booked taxi didn't show and his child hosts to skip going to a birthday get-together. Ola acknowledged this and attempted to satisfy the child by sending a custom letter alongside a cake. Of course, the child couldn't go to a gathering and this little signal of OLA changed the impression of the client and numerous different clients.

You have to keep them connected with and rebrand yourself to be over their brain. In the long run, you can make them convert and make them buy your item.
Tumblr media
End

While talks are continuing, the airport says 177 flights have been cancelled. But airlines have not yet said which will be hit.
Some travellers have expressed their frustration on social media.
“JackFlash” tweeted Heathrow to say: “If my travel plans are disrupted as a result of your lack of information regarding next week’s strike action, I will hold you liable for any and all costs as well as any inconvenience.
Heathrow airport began its response with what, in an aviation context, is an unfortunate phrase.
“Hi Jack,” it started. “We sincerely apologise for this. However please do remain in contact with your airline as they will have the latest information for you regarding the status of your flight.”
The complainant responded: “No, my airline are not responsible for the employees undertaking strike action, you are.
“Therefore you are legally responsible for updating users of the airport – ie passengers. Which flights are affected?”
Heathrow Airport replied: “Hi Jack, unfortunately we do not have any information on this. Your airline will know which flights and statuses that have changed for their passengers and will be able to advise you further. Thank you.”
The Independent has been seeking more information from key airlines about their plans.

Virgin Atlantic is moving some flights from Heathrow to Gatwick. Some inbound passengers on Sunday evening departures from the US will touch down at the Sussex airport, so that Monday’s flights can take off on schedule – albeit from Gatwick.
Flybe is planning the highly unusual step of flying aircraft from Heathrow empty, to avoid the risk of delays.
Four services to Edinburgh and one to Newquay may be cancelled over the two days; the aircraft will fly out normally, but return with a full complement of passengers.
British Airways operate more than half the flights in and out of Heathrow. A BA spokesperson said: “We have not currently confirmed any cancellations and we will be updating customers in the course of Sunday.
“Customers booked to travel on short-haul services departing from Heathrow on either proposed strike date can re-book to BA flights from Heathrow before the proposed industrial action [4 August] and from 7 to 12 August.
“They can also rebook on BA flights from Gatwick or London City.”

The writer Marcus Williamson, currently on holiday in the Peloponnese, is booked on British Airways from Athens to Heathrow on Tuesday 6 August.
He has written to Heathrow airport saying: ”You’re spoiling my holiday in Greece because I’m having to worry about getting home on time whilst your directors get paid millions and your staff are not paid nearly enough for the important work they do.
“Please sort out the pay issue today and treat everyone fairly. There’s clearly plenty of money around to pay fair wages to everyone.”
Heathrow airport is telling passengers: “Heathrow remains committed to finding a solution with Unite to avoid further strike action.
“This is a difficult time for Heathrow, our airline partners, and above all our passengers, as the proposed strike action has been unreasonably designed to impact passengers taking well-deserved holidays.
“We apologise for any disruption to your journey, and appreciate your patience during this time.”
