Hey~! Welcome to the fourth annual Toshinko Week, a BNHA fandom event celebrating the potential relationship between Toshinori Yagi (All Might) and Inko Midoriya (Izuku’s Mother)!

When is it this year?!

The event this year begins on September 1-7, 2021 (give or take for varying timezones), but you are welcome to post after the week is over! We’ll be keeping an eye on the tags for the whole month of September, so no need to stress if you do not post everything you want to within that first week. We wanted to give everyone at least a month to prepare for the event.

What are the Prompts?!

Below are the suggested prompts selected to help inspire your creativity, but you do not need to strictly follow the prompts, or use them at all. If you do decide to use the prompts, we kindly request that you wait until the specific day to post that piece. You’re also free to combine and mix-and-match prompts too!

There are two prompts to chose from if you wish for most of the days, and one is a free day for everyone to do whatever you’d like. The idea with the prompts this year was to do a short prompt and a longer prompt to add some variety.

What content is allowed?!

Nearly anything! Any type of fan-content that is dedicated to Toshinko is allowed: fanart, fanfiction, gifs, manga edits, amvs, collaborated work, audio posts, headcanons, memes. We just ask that you focus the work on Toshinko, and do not use others’ fanwork without permission​. Mature content is allowed if it is tagged for and posted under a Read More. Also, for example, if you decide to just post a fanfic on AO3 or a video to youtube, you can simply make a link post, and if it is tagged we will reblog it.

It’s that time of year again folks!!!!

From the 1st-8th July, a ship week will be held to celebrate the rare pair of Todoroki and Kaminari 💖

All forms of art, fics, head-canons, AMV’s and edits are more than welcome for this week. However we ask that if your content features any nsfw content or trigger warnings that you use a read more link and TAG these under your work please🌟

NO form of adult x minor relationships are allowed whatsoever. The same goes for ship hate too ☝️ We know this has never been an issue before but just to make the point clear: DO NOT STEAL AND UPLOAD CONTENT THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU!

Aizawa Shōta Art Log Zine UPDATES!!

So some updates on what’s going on with the zine right now. In short, the zine is very much still happening; however, this might end up taking a lot longer than I originally anticipated. As of right now, I want to push it by making it closer to 50+ pages of content. This doesn’t include the wallpapers and Icons and whatever other digital goods I can put in as well. This zine is being done solely by me, so please try to keep that in mind as stuff starts to update more as we go. I’m planning on using my Twitter (Link in bio) more for updates on zine matters and use Tumblr as the place people can toss me questions about stuff. This will be easier for those that want updates without having to hunt for them.

I have the following in Drafts/thumbnail stages:

Front and Back Covers are drafted

Around 25 pages have solid thumbnails to work with 

5 thumbnails need to be either drawn again or cut for other stuff

2 Wallpapers have thumbnails 

2 Icons have been sketched 

This is all that I have done at the moment of me typing this, and those are posted both on Ko-Fi and my Patreon for Zine Backers. Now, this leads into the whole Zine Backers stuff that I will now explain. 

If you filled out my interest check, I asked if anyone would possibly be interested in being a zine backer because I cannot just completely devote all my time to this project as I would like to. Right now, I have to take whatever commission I get to pay what bills I have and save anything leftover. I am also in the process of getting out of my current toxic and unhealthy living environment and simultaneously trying to update my almost 5-year-old laptop that’s slowly but surely giving out on me. So there is quite a bit going on here; I’m trying to manage all at once. This is just to help support me in making the zine. 

Now, what are the benefits of being a Zine backer? There is quite a bit. You have 2 ways of being backer by using Patreon and or Ko-Fi. Both will have your name in the zine as a backer who helped make this zine possible. Even if it’s just for one month, your name will still be credited because every little bit does help a lot.

If you can’t, that’s fine and understandable with the current time we are in right now. Don’t worry about it. Free ways to help any content creator is to like and share their work with others. 

As for when this zine will be finished, I’d say around October at the earliest if I can manage it with other commissions. @zawavember 2020 will not be affected by this at all, and I will post the prompt list around the start of October. I’ll keep you all updated on the zine as it goes

Kaminarifest Prompting Period: 11/04/2020 - 11/18/2020

Thank you to everyone who filled out the interest check! Considering that a decent amount of people are willing to participate. I have decided to go ahead and move onto the process of accepting prompts!

Remember that a fic fest is a challenge where people claim a prompt sent in by other people. In the case of claiming, multiple people will be able to do the same prompt just for flexibility and because this blog is still relatively new. I hope that it continues to grow!

Remember, I accept prompts from anyone! Even if you are not going to participate in the claiming! The more prompts, the easier it is for inspiration to strike!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR TOSHINKO WEEK 2020!

Welcome to the third annual Toshinko Week, a shipping event dedicated to the pairing of Toshinori Yagi (also known as the Symbol of Peace, All Might) and Inko Midoriya (also known as Izuku Midoriya’s mother)!

With the coronavirus and social distancing causing us all strife, I thought this would be the perfect time to have another fun shipweek, sort of like a little light in the darkness, if you will.

This year’s event will be held from June 7th through June 13th! (The 10th is All Might’s birthday!)

Each day has two possible prompts to use, if you wish, but it is not required.

As of November 19, 2020, I have received a total of 15 prompts to fill in. Are you an artist? A writer? Do any of these prompts interest you? If so, come and claim the prompt!

How to claim a prompt?

Usually, there’s only one (maybe two) people who can claim a prompt on the list however due to the newness of the event, I will not be doing a first come, first serve basis.
