I want a Blossick fic where

Blossom gets seriously wounded and Brick, usually cool, calm, and collected Brick, who has to be, in order to get his brother through everything alive, absolutely just fucking loses it.

Like, I'm talking:

The temperature of his fire goes to an insane level. I'm talking melting-fire-insane.

He practically gives himself serious burns due to his own temperature increasing too fast for his meta-human skin to adjust to. If he's near water, it evaporates before others' eyes.

He isn't listening to his brothers trying to get through to him, can't listen to his brothers, who are admittedly a bit scared because they've only seen him like this once before, when Him beat Boomer to unconsciousness and Him never tried that ever, ever again. The only acknowledgment they get out of him was a deep, feral growl.

As he steps towards whatever stupid fuck was dumb (and lucky) enough to land a cheap shot on Blossom, fire trails behind him in his footsteps, his eyes seem to start glowing and his pupils look like slits. Have his nails always been that sharp?

And when he lets out a guttural, hellish roar?? Are those??? Fangs?????????

Long story short: Brick, but he's actually a dragon, and actually has an impressive amount of control over himself.

He smiled softly, pressing a kiss to her hair. Gosh, he loved her hair - it was so silky and long, so perfectly soft, and smelled so much like strawberries and vanilla.

“Now that I’m thinking about it, I never used to believe in the idea of soulmates or anything like that before we started dating. And now, I don’t have to believe in it, I feel it.
