When Chongyun approaches the oni, they’re carrying a claymore that’s very unlike their own weapon. The claymore looks as if it resembles the ores and cliffsides of Liyue, and Chongyun is smiling proudly.
“This one was going to be mine when I came of age,” Chongyun explains, holding the claymore out to Itto. “I ended up going with my claymore instead-” Chongyun jerks his head back, indicating his own claymore. “But we kept this anyway, knowing it would have a special use in the future.” Chongyun hums quietly as he carefully sets the weapon down. “We call it the Unforged, and there is history behind this weapon, if you’re interested in hearing it.”

Though the color of the silks draping his body, and the glitter of gold jewelry betrays a life they do not have.
“You know, humans once made offerings of burnt sacrifice on my birthday, hoping fair fortune would follow them through the year,” he said lazily. “Such a shame they abandoned blood as technology progressed.”

(I thought Kokichi's birthday was today and just realized it was yesterday! ;_;
Regardless, I don't want to wait another year to create this starter, so please please please please PLEASE bear with me on this. If I get a comment or hint reminding me that Kokichi's birthday was yesterday, I WILL DELETE IT OR SIMPLY NOT RESPOND TO IT!!! Not trying to be mean, just saying.)
Kokichi looked like he was in a pretty bad mood. Today was his birthday, and not a single person wished him one. Sure, he was a liar and sometimes acted kind of 'mean' at times, but it would've at least expected people to remember when he birthday was! He's been hinting about it and hinting about it all month long! Maybe people didn't get the memo?
