I’m curious what Guy’s relationship with the Bettermans will be like since so far in the trailers they seem pretty fond of Guy, especially Phil and Dawn. Even got the two proud parents watching Guy and Dawn hang out below. We already know Eep is going to take Dawn under her wing as a bestie so I wonder if Guy is gonna be the honorary big brother figure towards Dawn kinda thing. Phil probably is going to end up a second dad, bc I could totally see a subplot where Phil starts fathering Guy and Grug gets protective/jealous that he’s stepping into a position he thought was his alone. And then it makes Grug really think about what his relationship with his [son?? son-in-law??], is like and shows more affection towards the kid. Grug got pretty steamed over Thunk saying Betterdad so who’s to say he won’t feel threatened/protective over Guy as well in that paternal sense? Yeah, he’s not really Grug’s son but Guy is dating Eep and the Croods took Guy in after all the shit The End brought them. He’s as good as Grug’s now lel
