Court of Owls! Danny Phantom

A couple of possible scenarios:

- Danny helped found Gotham, but had to leave due to his ghostly duties or whatever. He comes back and boom, membership to an exclusive murder cult moon lighting as Gotham’s fucked up zombie version of the Illuminati. Bonus points if Danny was also somehow involved with the literal Illuminati. He’s so confused but there’s like a bunch undead ducklings following him.

- Danny somehow got adopted by a member and accidentally initiated a hostile takeover. He has no idea what’s going on but the Owls give him the creeps. Bonus points if Dani figures it out and infiltrates the Talons or something.

- the above but Danny 100% knows what’s happening and the hostile takeover was intentional.

- bonus points for both of the above if Danny just says “hoot hoot” to piss people off lol

- Danny goes evil. Enough said.

- Danny isn’t evil, but he’s bored and he might as well join a secret society for the shits and giggles. Bonus points if he makes friends with Bernard and Tim and just conspiracy the shit out of the Court of Owls. He provides Benard and Tim with some really specific and accurate details and Tim’s like “what to do if my best friend is a part of an evil secret society?” And the answer is either join him or help him take it down from the inside.

tim is dating benard and cassie is dating cissie as well !!

tim is autistic, bart is audhd, kon has adhd and cassie is cassie (im not too sure yet)

when bart is overexcited / overwhelm, his powers go haywire and he really can’t control it anymore so kon uses his ttk to pull bart back to his feet

ma kent would invite them over to the farm where they learn how to make flower crowns with their colours

tim is red, bart is orange, kon is blue and cassie is yellow.

tim and kon were the first ones to start dating, then cassie joined in and then bart.

they would do cuddle piles all the time to get rid of the touch starvation.

tim didn’t want to tell bruce about this yet because he was unsure on how he would feel and whether he could accept it

they (cassie, kon, bart) told him to take his time and whatever happens, they will never leave his back.

cassie have chronic nightmares and panic attacks because of the nightmares.

tim would help cassie whenever she’s having one because he’s the most familiar with it and he’s usually up due to his insomnia

he would stay with her until she falls asleep again

kon, bart or cassie picks tim up to go to places bc apparently vehicles take too long

sometimes bart and kon would abduct tim bc they have no sense of boundaries.

cassie is too sensible to do that though.

everyone except bart have a drivers license to use when they’re in their civilian identity

bart is either too distracted or can just use his super speed without being seen.

bart has the biggest hair out of all of em

so they like to play and braid it sometimes

they also played with tim’s hair when he grew it out.

cassie and kon are tall and is very muscle-y and tim and bart are small and lanky (tim especially)

so when they cuddle tim and bart have to be on the top or else they’d get crushed.

bart and tim constantly play video games with each other because yk theyre both obsessed.

i feel like ppl underestimate kon’s ttk

he can literally control any matter at touch

so he helps warm up cassie’s stomach whenever she’s have cramps

tim is the only one who gets sick bc

bart’s a speedster and they heal very fast, kon’s half kryptonian and well cassie’s a demigod

so they band up together to try and take care of tim when he’s sick

but tim would say he isn’t for the first couple days until it became too big of a bother

and he has it worse bc of his missing spleen

usually it ends in chaos

100% I'm pretty sure Kon's aware of the crack pot theories that Benard dowd posts on his website. I think Kon would open up his tag on the website and read it like it's the morning paper. He's pretty fond of the theory that he's the clone of Bruce Wayne who's superman.

But Kon is also like totally the type of person who just googles himself for fun. He watches the superboy cartoon every time it's on tv. He's self absorbed like that and he totally thinks that everything that Bernard posts about him is hilarious. Like this is peak comedy. Sometimes he might tweet something vague and cryptic just so it's added to the website as "evidence"

he is studying physics and biology and has a superhero obsession. he was definitely fucking around in a lab, got bitten and then decided it would be a golden opportunity to become a vigilante

considering making my spider! Bernard AU have a timberkon spin off

just imagine Kon not dealing well with Tim getting a boyfriend. finally he finds someone who he connects with. it’s Spiderman. he starts talking to Spiderman (he comes up with the nickname Spidey) and over a couple of months begins to develop feelings for the guy. he even opens up about his situation with Tim only to later find out that the guy you have been crushing on and spilling your love life to is the guy your former-ish crush is dating.

imagine Kon’s horror, Bernard’s delight at the possibility of two boyfriends and Tim’s confusion at everything

spider! Bernard starts with the most fucked up schedule as Spiderman due to Bernard going to uni and having a job

so in the beginning seeing Spiderman is a particularly unpleasant jumpscare for the rogues in the area. sure, on a surface level he seems like a much more pleasant guy than the Bats (except for maybe Signal) but any rogue that’s faced him knows that the guy uses a tad bit too much force with a tad bit too much glee

either way, it takes a long time for Bernard to get a schedule and a costume he sticks with so up until that point every criminal in the area is just extra tense because what if Spiderman just pops up again??

there’s a viral video of Spider! Bernard losing his shit after a D-tier villain destroyed his suit. in the video he complains about how expensive university is and how it’s already bankrupting him and now he has extra costs for fabrics too

of course Bernard, being who he is, can’t leave it at that and goes on a tangent about how capitalism is destructive and how Gotham would probably be a better place if they didn’t try to be so greedy etc etc

the video ends abruptly when the police arrive to arrest the villain, which might’ve been a blessing because at that point Spiderman had been complaining about capitalism for roughly 15 minutes half naked

the internet ends up dubbing him “Spider-Comrade” and there’s way too many edits using clips from that video

Bernard: tiefling, warlock

so in my spider! Bernard AU I’m slightly changing up his character so here’s basics on Bernard:

- Bernard is still into cooking and it started years back purely because he didn’t trust the food industry. that meant he spent ages learning how to cook and figuring out how to make a lot of popular food items. he has a little list of companies he trusts and doesn’t. he doesn’t want to open a restaurant anymore/become a chef, more so being interested in keeping himself and others healthy

- Bernard knows a freaky amount of things he probably shouldn’t but masks knowing said knowledge with his conspiracy theories (he only believes in like half of them) so to most people he’s just a crazy guy saying crazy things. he still ends up being on a few watchlists so he tries to throw those off by also being a conspiracist online (he also truly enjoys it, but that’s an added bonus)

- Bernard’s actually really smart but due to above as well as a lack of giving a shit about school material (he prefers scientific what ifs and weapon/super hero/vigilante stuff) so he ended up not being able to get into the courses he would’ve preferred due to his mostly average grades. it’s why he’s now double majoring in physics and biology in hopes of getting to do a masters in something closer to that (also a bit of pressure from his parents)

- Bernard has had suit designs for himself and other vigilantes just lying around (which is also how he got a pretty functional suit in a pretty short amount of time). it was mostly a hobby where he’d think about what if scenarios

- Bernard when possible does everything on paper, since he doesn’t trust the government and other big corporations. it’s why his empty apartment has stacks of paper laying around (all neatly categorized and sealed, but it looks like a mess to anyone else)

- kinda in the same vein as the last one but Bernard has most of his money in cash, only having what is absolutely necessary on his bank account. he also claims it saves him money since he can’t just freely spend money with a tap of his card (it’s kind of true since when he had to spend money for his suit he actually had most of it lying around)

- Bernard had a short phase in high school that had him convinced he needed to learn russian so he can now speak a bit of russian, but most importantly he can do the accent really well. it’s what he used as spiderman to throw people off of his identity (it gives Tim a genuine headache)

- Bernard works a part time job at a restaurant as an assistant chef (he needs to buy groceries and pay rent after all). it’s a little italian diner a few blocks from his apartment. he always get leftovers and food that’s about to spoil to reduce their waste

I don’t know if I missed anything important, but this is basically going to be my characterization on him! if you have any suggestions or can point to canon that directly conflicts with these ideas pls lmk! I’m always up to revise my stuff :)

How would a Robin & a Spiderman Bernard team up go? Also are there any other ideas you have for this au that you could share?

(sorry in advance for the messiness, I have many thoughts but little brain cells)

I am still super in the brainstorm and planning phase, so nothing is set in stone yet BUT I do have a few possible ideas depending on how I exactly want the story to go. So here’s a few of the possibilities:

1. instead of Bernard going to rescue Tim at the end of TD:R it will be as Spider-Man instead of civilian Bernard and he’ll be looking to rescue Robin instead of Tim. this would be more so be a batfam + spiderman team up rather than robin and spiderman, but I’m including it cause the potential for a moment between the two is there

2. they team up when a large scale attack is going on in Gotham, I think someone like Ivy would fit (though I’m not super sure where she is in canon so that might change). up to that point Bernard will mostly have been dealing with smaller crime (robberies, mugging etc.) so he’s mostly busy rescuing civilians until his spidey senses tell him there’s someone in danger. said someone being Red Robin, who’s facing Ivy alone and not doing too well. the rest of the Bats are nowhere to be seen so Bernard helps out

3. Bernard is webbing up some people so they can’t get away until the GCPD arrives when RR approaches him about working together to bust a drug ring since it’s on what people started considering Spider-Man’s area. Bernard agrees, excited to be working together with Tim as equals in the field

all of these have something I like, so it’s really going to be a matter of figuring out what works best and also what makes the most sense since esp scenario 1 could bring some difficulties

as for ideas I can share there’s not honestly that much yet :”)

I am working on exactly how I want Bernard’s spider powers to work and what they change abt him. ofc there’s gonna be the basics like spidey senses, the sticking to walls, enhanced healing etc and since Bernard is also a science guy I can justify him having his webshooters. outside of that I think a quirk in his powers fitting for Gotham would be great, though I’m not sure what exactly. He does already have little spider fangs, but I didn’t add them for practical use so I’m not counting them as special powers quirk

anyways this is a second attempt at a spider suit cause I don’t super vibe with the old one anymore??

it’s mostly just not what I think a Gotham vigilante would wear and also the design is just kind of boring ngl. will keep it as a suit he wears at some point in his spiderman journey (probably his first tbh)

story planning AND writing is going smoothly-ish. finally got a beta reader which is very very cool
