There's been a lot of Bella Thorne on my dash lately which has caused me to go down some memory lane moments with Bella, which brought me to this incredible photo, which is a perfect contender for a girlcrush poster. First there's how magnificently hot Bella is in this pic. I mean, could her legs be any hotter?! omfg. And yes of course, there's braids also. That always takes things up a notch for me. But also: this photo is just of Bella on set somewhere, just causally walking around. It's not some kind of carefully planned and executed studio shot, even tho it really looks like it could be. Especially with my edit. Hi! I've been wanting to send asks for a while but couldn't think of a good question until recently.

I have three questions (or perhaps I should say headers).

One: How's your rewrite progressing? At what stages is cannon altered? Are there going to be concepts/characters ignored entirely?

Two: I've seen your (humorous) plea for long/multi chapter eah fics what are some of the favorite's you've read already? Any chance you have an idea of your own outside the rewrite? long or short (chances are yes, for literally anyone in this fandom but it bears asking).

Three: What fairytale(s) would you

A: Like to repeat

B: Could functionally thwart if you had to live through it.

C: Die in, or flee the land to avoid at all cost's.

Omg love the questions. I will admit I’m a bit to brain dead to fully comprehend all the questions so if I answer I different question that what you intended feel free to correct me.

With that being said, the first chapter of my rewrite is done and basically fully edited I believe it’s around 6000/7000 words. Chapter two hadn’t been edited but it’s kinda a weird one so it doesn’t really need to be edited and it’s only around 2000 words.

Chapter 3 I’ve written a bit of it and it’s also a short and I have a layout for it. And chapter 4 is going to be on the longer side probably 6000-10000 words. But after those are done and edited hopefully I’ll publish the fic!!

So that’s the progress, for what parts of canon are being altered, I think a lot of characterization. Bunny, Alistair, Crystal, Milton Grimm, Snow White & EQ are all characters who were either portrayed as good or morally grey that I’m going to make evil (whoops spoilers) and then also kitty isn’t really going to have a redemption arc like she did in spring unsprung, she’s just going to continue to chaotically be herself.

And then just every plotline / character will just be slightly more mature and in depth. And it depends on how you see canon because the rewrite is going to be a mix the tv series + the books which vary a bit on canon. And then obviously a lot more queer representation.

I wouldn’t necessarily say that the epic winter arc is being disgraced but it’s going througu many changes. I’ll probably get ride of the whole through the woods concept because it doesn’t really add anything to the plot (although I am adding a musical that doesn’t really do anything for the plot except allow be to geek (theatre kid) out and give us some cute dizzie moments).

I really want to include her but I don’t think there’s going to be any room for Bella sister. Other things from canon that I’m not including is darise, Meeshell being a horrible singer, DARABELLA, Maddie having visions, the snow king, cupids crush on dexter, the revealer rays, probably lots more but I can’t think of them.

Onto the next question I definitely have some fic recs. I’ll probably make a separate post for it but my top 2 are rewrite ignite restart and a legacy of brambles and thorns.

I think the reason why I’m actually commuting to the rewrite is because it’s really the only eah fic I want to write since I plan to hopefully cover all the characters and ships I like. In my past fandoms I’ve had like 20 different fics I wanted to write but I never got a around to all or them.

Oh wait actually I guess I have one idea but I doubt I’ll ever write it since I want to focus on the rewrite. But during my transition stage from the mlb fandom to the eah I was thinking about an au. Either the eah characters with miraculous’s in the real world or mlb characters at ever after.

Okay and for the last questions im assuming you’re asking which fairytales I’d like to 1. Be a part of 2. Don’t want to be a part of and I could stop it 3. Would have to run away from ?

1. When I was little I had the yearbook thing that had you create your own eah character and I always wanted to be a princess so I made myself goose girl

2. Definitely wouldn’t want to be like Jack in the beanstalk so I just wouldn’t take the beans

3. Sleeping beauty was my fav when I was younger so I definitely wouldn’t want to have Faybelles destiny. Or be an ugly sister, that would kill my self esteem (no wonder Bella and Brutta ran away)

For the last 3 questions I wasn’t sure if you were asking all abt me or if any were for my rewrite.

I saw people state inside job is antisemitic bc of the lizard people, who run the world and drink blood. this is a common antisemitic conspiracy theory that implies jewish people are a secret society of lizards that controls the world. also implies they're not human and evil

edit: i was informed that the theory actually, at its core, revolves around jewish people controlling lizard people. "Jews run the banks and the media, thus they run the world." the idea of a jewish secret society is a problem that has existed for centuries and has a long history to it, and because of this, accusations of a celebrity being a lizard is antisemitic regardless of their religion

While obviously i'm not going to argue with anyone (im not jewish and if jewish people say the show is antisemitic, it because it is), i was curious about the IRL "reptoid" celebreties' religions and these were the ones i could find in the internet

edit: as i said, celebreties' religions aren't as important as the context around the whole thing. and in addiction to that, judaism isn't just a religion. its an ethnicity aswell. meaning that, as far as i understand it, any ethnically jewish person could practise any religion

also, Inside job's producer, Alex hirsch, has jewish family from his father side, but was raised agnostic

edit: again, it's an ethnicity. zuckerberg and hirsch are still ethnically jewish and i'd like to reforce this "I'm not jewish so i don't have the knowledge and nuances necessary". anything i say here about judaism should be taken with a grain of salt

I think fandom wars existed back in the days but there was just no place to put those thoughts and fight people 24/7. People had their faves of Backstreet Boys and *NSYNC or Britney and Christina, New Kids or New Edition. Brad or Tom. We just kept that shit on the playground and moved on with our day once recess was over. It didn’t consume us. Wasn’t the thing we talked about all day. Now that you have these avenues for fandom where you can fight with some stranger about your faves online all day cause you have internet on your phone as opposed to having to actually use dial up to log into whatever AIM or AOL chat group you were in or obsessed over everything they’re doing or saying instead getting out the house. Basically fandom stuff existed but people use to also actually touch grass and had lives outside of celebrity whereas now, people be on twitter yelling from sun up to sun down.

Anyway, you brought up some good points Anon! Yea, you're right.... fandom wars probably still existed back in the day, but NOT to the extent that they do today.

Were they're fandom wars for actors though? 🤔 I know there were for music groups.... but growing up I just don't recall a bunch of fandom wars in the movie actor life lol 😆 Like, were there legit fandom wars btwn say, Lindsay Lohan and Megan Fox rofl? 😂🤣 I don't recall that.... But correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe I'm just too young to remember rofl 🤣

I do know Zendaya swears that they would try to pit her against her costar Bella Thorne (which is just wrong imo 🙄). But I don't really recall a bunch of fandom wars btwn actors and their fandoms like I see today. 🤔

Anyway.... Either way....You're so right. Ppl actually touched GRASS back then, so fandom life didn't consume you. 😅
